Didn't see a thread, so here goes!

    Sorry, no pics (yet)

RID Prime is the latest entry into the Metal Cybertron Heroes line. His original incarnation is still recalled as one of the finest Optimus Prime's in toyline history, so this little guy has a lot to live up to.

Vehicle Mode is a firetruck (hence the Japanese name, FireConvoy). There's a surprisingly small amount of actual "metal" on this toy; most of him is plastic of various consistency. The ladder can be raised and rotated in a variety of directions, and the hoses can be deployed or stored.

Transformation is kind of odd. The front end of his Vehicle Mode basically "unfolds" into legs. This is actually RID Prime SuperMode, which makes a little more sense than just doing a "standard" RID Prime.

Articulation is great, yet again. Prime's legs have the same ratchet-thing as 6" Thundercracker, but nowhere near as concerning.

Prime's forearms can pop up to reveal twin blasters, and his ladder/hose can be rotated and mounted over his shoulder as a type of bazooka. '

Overall, RID Prime is just another example of Titaniums getting better and better! He looks great, feels great and most importantly PLAYS great. Highly Recommended for all Titanium fans!!

I'd rather read about that toy, we've already seen several pictures of that toy before.

Really looking forward getting it, it looks great. Where is the die-cast exactly?

The diecast is only in the robot chest, shoulders, arm-guns, and feet. Everything else is plastic.

I agree with Paladin, I think he's a great toy. My only real complaint is the front third of his vehicle mode-- it looks a bit hokey with all the hinges everywhere, and it doesn't quite line up vertically with the rest of the vehicle mode.

(Starscream is also better than Thundercracker, IMO. Better color scheme, more paint apps.)

The diecast on RID Prime is mostly in his arms and chest. Most of the rest is plastic.
It's actually a very good balance.

This figure rocks my socks. Bot mode looks great and is super-tight. One complaint is the inside of his legs in bot mode look too hollow. The interlocking of the vehicle mode comes together very nicely. Amazing that they were able to pull off a transformation straight from super-mode to Firetruck that's far different from the original RID design. Bot mode is awesome, and the truck mode is very convincing. It could however use some more paint detailing, like on the aforementioned light-bar. Chalk up another winner for the Titanium design team. :thumb

Got my Prime today, just one problem. The part on his arm that is supposed to pop up stays in place so dam good its hard to get in the pop position.

Light-bar is supposed to be red.
That being said the firetruck-mode could've indeed used the same paint-app treatment as robot-mode, which is pure love.
Now I don't have all Titaniums, but I think RID Prime might well be the most posable of the lot. Would've been even better if he had ankle joints.

Funny blurb I noticed on the bio (next to his tech specs):
"Unique Feature - Combines with his brother Ultra Magnus to form Omega Prime."
Of course that's that's the case with the show and original toy. No way that's going to happen with this version though (don't think a Titanium UM will ever be made even), so why put that on the packaging?
