G1 superion

well I just got superion on ebay and heres my review:

fireflight:7/10 I like the colorskem and looks alot like g1 cartoon

skydive: 5/10 the arms are very flimsy and fall of easily and vehicle mode nose
flops around everywhere in alt. mode

airraid:7/10 really good figure very sturdy

slingshot:8/10 out of all arielbots has most poseability

silverbolt:8/10 great vehicle and robot mode ,only defect is that the arms only bend at the elbow

alternate modes:10/10 very detailed for G1 figures

superion:10/10 awsome poseability great looking figure

summary:9/10 alittle bit of defects overall great figure
I highly recommend the arielbots for any diehard g1 fan

Superion is awesome. Congrats on bagging one!
I've had mine since back when he came out, although I'm now on my third Fireflight, Silverbolt has had a leg transplant and somewhere down the line the left fist slipped into the bermuda triangle, and subsequently got replaced. Love the guys, though. They were my first combiner so they hold a special place in my heart, even though the rather lanky look of the combined Superion doesn't work for me, having later been spoiled by the likes of Piranacon and Abominus.
Great toys for their time, though, and the individuals mostly work for me.

I wish I still had mine. I'm slowly but surely rebuilding my G1 collection. Nice review, btw! Thanks for sharing.

Superion is my fav G1 Autobot Combiner...I only had Airraid and Silverbolt as a kid, so when I got back into collecting I jumped on getting the other three on ebay...I love the plane alt modes. Say all you want about G1 being bricks, these guys are rock solid! Superion combined is a little wobbly in the legs, but thats probably just because it's a 20 year old toy!

Congrats on the purchase!

Superion is the only one f that particular "set" of combiners (Superion, Defensor, Bruticus, Menasor) that I still need. I'll get one sooner or later. Congrats on getting him, d00d.
