I was planning on waiting for this guy to hit the bargain bin but I caved.

He actually a lot of fun and the joints are nice and tight on everything other than his head.

 

The assymetrical and hollow left arm bugs me to no end..but other than that this is the perfect (MTMTE) Rewind for me. Guess they could've included his G1 weapons but that's not bothering me at all.  

 

For Titans Return I only have a few Titan Masters, deluxes, legends and a voyager so far. Out of the ones I have, Rewind was the most fun to handle. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out.

My main issue was excessive mold flash which prevented the arms from unfolding smoothly for transformation. This was fixed by scraping the excess plastic off.

Don't forget to remove the stylus when transforming from tablet to robot mode. I forgot and bent it on accident. Fortunately, both times I did this, I remembered at the last minute.

Grabbed a rewind today.
This works quite well! He can kinda Headmaster it up like the big kids.

 

Some musings on the guy. Looks great, handles so and so and durability for kids a definete no no.

So has any one else noticed that, when in cassette-form, there is a little hole on the back that you can plug his gun into so that it looks like a radio antenna? This makes him look like a walkman/portable radio with cassette feature

 

He's got chunkly arms, the stylus-gun is sometimes more trouble than it's worth, and you gotta watch for potential peeling around the sticker-edges, but still a top favorite of mine from the T.R. line so far.

 

After some very sparse play in the five days I've owned it, I've got stress marks near the pins of the arm fold joints.

 

Does anyone know how the sticker quality of Takara's Rewind is?

Its not really the seller's fault is it?

 

Has anyone done g1 style guns for him? I was transforming him from cassette to bot and I didn’t realise I left the gun in his arm. So for 5 mins I was just trying to figure out why the arm wasn’t folding in. It got severely bent then I lost it
