I am, actually.   I doubt I'd ever use him in "spaceship" mode, and you can't even see the cockpit in cannon mode anyway.

 

That mod with the mask actually makes the figure just about perfect. I'll definitely be doing that with mine when I get it

 

What's about Cannon mode? Would it affect that?

 

Don't think so. I think he just stands on the back of the cannon mode

Shame about the head issue but all problems aside, I going to still get him because he will still be a better choice for my Classics shelf than TFU 2.0 Galvatron (at last IMO anyway   ). However, taking the problems into account, I think I may just pick up the Hasbro version instead of Takara's.

 

My only real problem is the back half of the head being mostly grey.

Hasbro should have painted Nucleon's legs purple to match the crown piece.

Still, this is 90% the Galvatron I wanted in the classics line.
It seems worlds better than the garbage Universe 2.0 Galvatron.

Bot mode is my favorite of 3 and cannon mode is good.

So he can have some elaborate poses; work to attack the crown is awesome as result but at the end I think that I won't proceed with this thing (at least if I buy just 1 Galvy,with a second one I could try...) because remains very beautiful also if he can't rotate head.

Cannon is imposing,do the arms support it well or they tend to fall/suffer?
Is it rather lightweight?

This figure is probably the one I'm the most interested in from Titans Return Wave 1, all scales combined. I'll get the two voyagers, PM OP, SkullCruncher, Blurr, Wheelie, and Rewind.
Back on track, I'm loving Galvatron. The edited helmet makes him look like the best Galvatron figure we could ever hope to get.

 

The same person who posted that modified head also found a way to attach the cannon to the side of the arm. That's pretty much the perfect Galvatron there.

I agree...for the price..DAMN good galvatron.

 

It's probably less "found a way" and more like "drilled a hole". I'm still thinking an adapter piece should be simple enough to Shapeways when somebody with skill gets hold of the figure and can model it.  

 

Those pics are not clear as to what was done?

Was any shaving done?

I know Im getting rid of the legs. No mini megatron for me.
