You know how they say to save the best until last? I did.

Hardhead is the best deluxe of the bunch. Of all the voyagers and deluxes, Hardhead is the best figure available (I haven't touched leaders yet).

Legends Wheelie runs him close though.

    Here's the vehicle mode

For anyone who can't afford or refuses to buy third party products this is a very good official deluxe version of the MakeToys versions of Hardhead basically.

The artillery is quite posable too.

Something I glossed over for previous deluxes which you can do with all is have a headmaster uses a weapon but for most of them it just looks like an afterthought. Except this guy.

    Here is Duros.

Transformation follows the simple yet satisfying formula yet again.

    Just add 1 head, hard.

Posability for this guy. Yup he's got it covered.

Ball jointed head, shoulder can move 360 around and 90 degrees up/down, bicep swivel, WRIST SWIVEL, legs can do the splits and move 90 degrees up/down, thigh swivel, knee joint, toe pivot plus the big gun can move nearly anywhere.

    Thanks for reading.

Second most want of the entire first wave after Skullcruncher. I think he'll look really nice next to Chromedome, Highbrow, & Brainstorm.

Looks great, I'm glad posability seems like such a priority with wrist swivels etc.

Can't say I have much interest in this guy, though he does look pretty good. The giant cannon is an awesome touch

I'd love to see him retooled into Impactor somewhere down the line

When you say he is the best i believe you. For one he looks good and i don't think it is coincidence they made him the first headmaster to be released.

Love it. Hope we get the alternate Headmaster over here too, but I'll be happy with the faceplate.

Yep, figures with flip-out hands AND wrist rotation are rare and I love when they take that extra step. Springer, Blitzwing and Orion Pax are the last ones I remember.

Good review! I'm glad to hear that he turned out fantastic because he is the one release I have been looking forward to the most in the initial TR line. I am going to opt for Takara's because I prefer his 'Rebirth" show accurate face but if this is any indication, he should be just as awesome. :)

Scored Hardhead today, I concur with unicronic's assessment. He not only looks the best - he has a bit of hollowness going on, but his colors hide it, not to mention that he has more than two or three colors to begin with - but he has those nice little touches we used to get: The aformentioned wrist swivels, a few clear cast bits, and the over-the-shoulder cannon mount even has a slider - built on a metal pin, no less- to keep it clear of his head. when laid flat on his shoulder. Just a very well made, satisfying little fellow.

...in ten years, it is going to be a goddamn nightmare to get these Titans Returns guys loose/complete, you all know that, right...?

I doubt that; knowing the people who dwell this board, I bet everyone's gonna hold onto the heads with a vice grip.

I agree. I know they won't, but it would be awesome if they issue the deluxe/voyager/leaders masters in Titan Master form. Or in a pack. Or something.

That's a really nice catch you guys made on the slider for the cannon mount. None of the video reviewers I watched caught that, and it solved my biggest gripe with the figure. My other gripe was the bobbly neck, which I fixed by putting the headmaster in with the tiny head facing forward. This guy turned out really well.

I have Ironwill, and this guy is an amazing deluxe sized version. I can't get over how well done he is. I want two Green Guns tough.
