Who would want the transformation spoiled before they ever even got the toy? I hate having to jump around a review to try and avoid the transformation.

 

I may have said this upthread but .....

The base mode to be just looks transformed wrong. The ramps under the arms are all but useless & inaccessible there making me think they should be positioned so the ramps point out to the sides.

 

I never thought of the transformation as something that could be "spoiled."

Especially since if you're going to review a Transformer, demonstrating the transformation seems like the most important thing to do.

Because they have basic cognitive skills and motor skills to not break a plastic toy.

How did you jump to the conclusion of breaking so quickly. That was the last thing I would have thought of since I didn't think it was a possibility.

 

I also often skip Transformations in videos. I only watch them for figures that are interesting but I don't want to buy or when I see a figure and I just want to see how it changes from one mode to the other. Sometimes, when I'm lying in the bed I close my eyes and wait till he says "And here is XY in robot mode". If I'm not asleep by then. I often don't bother watching videos that are over 10 minutes long.

 

Jesus I don't know how transformations are secrets to anybody. I look at it in one mode then another and then I figure it out.

 

I usually keep a close eye out for transformations in reviews should there be QC issues. (Like Blitzwing)

Among other things like transformation steps, etc.

 

i don't like to risk breaking a $200 toy. call me crazy.

 

I don't really have any problems with reviews showing transformations. In some cases, it can be pretty helpful if the figure is pretty complicated and/or the instructions leave out a few steps.  

 

Folks don't want reviews to spoil transformations now?

I look at that comparison pic with the G1 PM Prime and wonder how I ever wanted that as a kid.

Powermaster Optimus' head, the original, scares me. Said that last night when I watched Optibotimus' review last night too.

 

Could we get some comparison pictures with CW Megatron for both modes? I'm considering picking that figure up again.

 

Yeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhh, his proportions are terrible even by G1 standards...
