Thunderhoof is a great looking decepticon featured in the new Robots in Disguise cartoon, with a mobster type accent. He has an unconventional alt mode which adds to his appeal, a tractor. With the hooves and head, he strikes me as a "evil deer" bot. He has plenty of articulation, but his head antlers hinder some of his arm movement. His wavemate Quillfire definitely has him beat in the articulation department, but he still has a pretty good range of motion, with 14 points of articulation. Hasbros solution to "hiding" the head in alt mode is to simply have it face the floor, which works out pretty well, but i do consider it cheating, as i wish they added a simple flap to hide the face. Its a really minor nitpick, and the alt mode is solid otherwise. Another flaw is from the back, he looks quite hollow. Another contrast from his wavemate, as Quillfire is a much fuller bot. IMO the only plus Thunderhoof has over Quillfite is his unique alt mode.

I have only Legion scale figures from PRID, but I will be sorely tempted to pick up Thunderhoof... to go with the Legion one, naturally.

 

They totally should make an Armada Megatron homage with this figure just because of the antlers.

Cool to show us bro but I really hope he's mistransformed. It.looks like on the back of his head there is a hinge to.properly place the antlers on his head. And also.his shoulders should be covered completely by his tractor wheels.& fenders. It looks like there is a slot possibly.to slide the shoulder/arm into the wheel/fenders. Is this possible & can you check on both things please? Thnx  

As is he is completely not accurate to the source material. Especially his antlers but I hope they can shift down & angle back more.

Got Thunderhoof yesterday. Love him. Can't do much about the shoulders seeing there's some restriction. And here's the corrected antlers.

 

He looks great but Seibertron prices for 32.99 is pretty high for a hollowly, min paint apps, and basic transformation warrior class figure.

 

Ha! I.knew it thanks bro he looks fantastic. And you fixed the shoulders better too. It looks like his actual shoulders slide into.the wheel hubs as shoulder armor. Am I correct?
Tanks again buddy I knew the antlers were wrong before because it was exactly how it cane out the box and seeing the pic of the backside of him you can see the hinge.

To the original poster your gonna wanna fix the antlers and shoulders buddy these things always have to be adjusted when straight out the package  

 

I'm buying all the warrior decepticons from takara. It would be nicer if thunderhoof had more show accurate antlers.
