And the tab that pegs Scrapper's scoop to the vehicle body in leg mode.

I hate that tab,is that goes, your whole Devastator goes, should of designed it better then relying on one little tab.

Just transformed for first time in bot mode all UW Constructicons but I've a problem with Long Haul in bot mode.
If legs are slighty open on him I can rotate feet well but if I put legs perfectly straight, right foot doesn't want to insert under the leg.Could it be a flaw of my toy?I'm afraid that if I apply more force I could break foot joints.

In your experiences is it normal to use some strenght to inseet feet?

You mean to rotate that foot piece down under the leg when the leg is straight? What is stopping it?

How do you avoid breaking it?

Exactly. If I'd knew it's a thing normal to make it , I'd apply more strenght,or even just a little elongate foot as we could do in some Tf's with legs to link them to some pins, because other foot rotates with no problem. For now I'd like to know if it's normal that it doesn't click,I can display Long Haul with straight legs but foot remains a little not inserted.

Placing and unplacing it very carefully and not forcing it.

You won't ruin it, and I would even suggest you are depriving yourself of an incredibly satisfying Transformers toy experience by not combining him.

It's hard to explain but you can easily avoid breaking that tab by taking care and lifting it into place instead of ham-fistedly forcing it.

It untabs one specific way. I don't have Devy out right now, but based on what I remember and from watching review videos you'll want to lift the whole scoop out from the base hinge connected to his back. Basically, the scoop folds up in on the second joint in leg mode. As long as you don't un-bend that joint when moving it out you're fine. Otherwise you'll crowbar the clip while it's still inside the port and bend it off.

Edit (5-18-19): Having Devastator out now, a much simpler explanation would be to pull the scoop up (towards the cab section) while Scrapper is a foot. Pulling the scoop down will bend the center hinge instead of the base hinge and stress the rectangular peg that connects the scoop in leg mode.

Thanks guys, I'm going to take a look at mine to get a better look at what you're describing. It's an awesome set.

About this set knee joints on Bonecrusher and Scavenger are another great improvement, certainly are stronger. And in videos Bonecrusher section that joints pelvis is a lot less loose, has Takara changed something?
I'd want to know if the transformation of this piece from bulldozer to bot mode is the same as Hasbro CW, to be sure to avoid breakages in a very important section for the bot.

It's the same transformation, but the Takara hip connection just works better. It seems to be tighter and have stronger pegs.
