Name any Legends figure made from 2013 until now-
    They're ALL better than this.
I know it's subjective, but yeah, I'm a Legends fanboy and won't touch this thing.

Forgot to add "Decepticon" to the post. Fixed.
To clarify my point, Buzzsaw is tied with Blackjack as the best Decepticon Legends figure. Bombshell has a weird robot mode, and Skrapnel was a floppy mess. Shockwave scaled with Megatron, and as such I don't consider those figures (Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Thindercracker, Skywarp) to be Legends Class. Shockwave's translucent plastic really throws me off, and he's too small. The best Autobot Legends figure would have to be the Swerve mold (both uses), Warpath, and Hot Rod.

I held this in my hand at the store, shook my head, and said "Naaahh...Ill wait and get the one that will come with soundwave.."

Honestly, I cant think of a after '13 Legends that is BETTER than this one. I can see how someone can say "He's pretty cool.." or "I feel like a f&^%**** for saying this, but Im embarassed to say I like it.."

To say this thing is better than Megatron, Shockwave, Cosmos, Swerve, Gears, Starscream, Acid storm, Shrapnel, Bombshell, Optimus.ANY of those? No way. Man said "best legends since 13'.."
You can choose to not include Shockwave or any other, but they are legends.
Honestly, its Buzzsaw how is hideously out of scale..He should be tiny enough to lit on Legends Megatron's Forearm..

Im just raz'n ya.. and if you dig it that much, awesome, But when I read "Best legends since 13'", A part of my brain said "He HAS to be stopped..No matter the cost.." ;)

Incidentally, I refer to the new Legends as Legends, and the old Legends as Legions.
Buzzsaw here should have been a minicon or Micromaster, but as a Legends it's a total fail.

I can understand. If someone said that Titans Return looked terrible, I'd be trying to stop them at all costs.
Rewind still looks to be the best of the Legends series from Titans Return.

    got him on a whim...

Had him 1 day -a few transformations and the stickers were already coming off....so I removed them entirely..

If I was ask "is he worth getting " my answer would be ehhhh, only if you plan on getting soundwave and want all his minions ....

wait, what? he's the best decepticon legends not counting three of them? and the reasoning for the other one is that its robot mode is 'weird'? that doesn't... make sense.

I keep seeing this thing on the peg at Walmart. I was tempted for about a second. I stared at it for a little while trying to discern some kind of saving grace, but the only thing I could come up with is that the head sculpt isn't terrible.
Unfortunately, the rest of the figure is just too horrible to bother with.

Alright, let me elaborate for you. Bombshell's robot mode throws me off because the head is placed too high on the body, the arms are too low and too small, the chest is too wide and curvy, and his waist articulation is too high on the body. Yes, I know the engineering crew couldn't help that, but it's still an issue I have with the mold.

I don't think this thing is the worst thing ever as Yaujta wants everyone to believe, and I don't think this thing is as good as slingshot makes it out to be.

I see where Yaujta would be coming, saying buzzsaw is too big. Thing is, this toys appeal is not a stand alone figure. I picked him up knowing he is going to be with leader Soundwave in a few months. For what it is, I think it's good. I like the smart phone mode. I think that is a good touch. However out of the package my stickers where coming up in the corners. The tank/bulldozer mode is a throwaway mode as far as I'm concerned. The headsculpt in bird mode is really nice. The plastic feels better than I have been used to as well.

Comparing it to other legends toys or whatever class you want to call it, Buzzsaw is mid pack. It's simple and pretty much what you see in pictures is what you get. But if your getting Soundwave down the line, don't sleep on it. I'd get it while you can.

Tank mode 1 out of 5
Smart device mode 3.5 out of 5
Condor mode 3.5 out of 5

I'm not trying to convince anyone. My negativity is due to loving the Legends line and being utterly disappointed by this release.
If someone wants to like it, then more power to them. I just wish I could, honestly. If I planned on getting Soundwave, I'd get this. I don't, so I'll save my money for a (in my opinion) good figure.

So... yeah. I got him on a whim. And I like him. A lot, really.

That said, I can't recommend him. He's got an odd charm to him I can't really quantify.

    The Good:
    * All three modes look pretty good and are distinct. I am shocked at how much I like the forklift mode. It's a fun little utilitarian bonus. The tablet is just good looking, and the bird mode is serviceable. I like how his "guns" can be individually aimed.
    * Transformation is pretty fun and simple. The tablet modes skirts the line of being a shellformer, but the way the tail works prevents even that to me. And the forklift mode is surprisingly clever.
    * The colors look nice. I usually really dislike yellow Buzzsaw (preferring gold, of course) but this actually works better because I see tons of yellow phone cases.

    The Bad:
    * Objectively, there's just not a lot to him. Compared to other Legends class figures that get shoulder, elbow, hip, knees, and maybe neck articulation, plus the playability of using weapons and such... the posing options are limited to basically "sit there with wings spread" and "sit there with wings tucked in." It just genuinely doesn't feel like it's the same value as Blackjack, or Skrapnel, or even Warpath.
    * The stickers aren't great. Straight out of the package, some of the "screen" stickers were already peeling. I actually like the design of them, but the peeling is a huge issue.
    * The guns/tailfin assembly definitely requires... imagination.
    * The wings are super chunky. Many people can and will take issue with that.

Comparisons with Booster X10 (pictures will be uploaded eventually):
Buzzsaw has less articulation overall. Booster has leg articulation (ball jointed hips, knees, ankles) while Buzzsaw just has hinges to get the legs into place. Booster can also life his wings. Buzzsaw's only advantage in articulation is his neck. Booster only rotates, but Buzzsaw has the same as the G1 birdbots.
In terms of look, Booster definitely... looks better. The wings are wingier, his tail looks realistic, and the earpiece-as-gun works way better than "tail blocks with holes" as a weapon. Also he has feet, versus Buzzsaw's g1-style rails for feet.
Buzzsaw's alt-mode is way better. He looks like a small smartphone, versus "sorta not really" looking like a (now-outdated) MP3 player. Really, Booster always looked weak in alt-mode to me.

So, yeah. Ultimately, he doesn't really stack up in terms of cost compared to other modern figures of the same class. And overall, a 9 year old figure (that cost less at the time) outclasses him in most of the important ways.

But for some reason I love the little bastard and I'm glad I got it. He's very imperfect, but if you can look past his flaws, he's pretty fun.

So does no one here think his true transformation for condor should be twist the wings 180 and push them against the body, so the "feathers" are the only wings? looks far better, and a lot more like his old G1 self. Improves it immensely.

If this is the case, it may not be a lost cause after all.

Hmmmm...tempts me more. I've seen Buzzsaw a few times, I decided to just stick with Laserbeak once Soundwave is out but now I'm not so sure.
