That underslung gun pose looks pretty sweet.

I'm looking forward to picking this guy up.

Man, hopefully I find this guy as quick as I found Jazz and Sideswipe earlier this year. I'm even MORE excited for Thunderhoof and Quillfire.

Robot Mode: Fracture is a robot sporting the traditional Decepticon colors (purple, black, silver). He is long and thin, with big shoulder pads (including sculpted-in Minicon missiles) and a long, narrow face. Overall it would be quite hard to imagine him as one of the good guys. Also, it’s kind of hard to say what he transforms into (at least from the front), the black tires on his feet pretty much the only clue.

Fracture comes with a big black gun that is designed to be held two-handed, but can also be held in one hand (either at full length or folded together) or attached to either forearm. The figure is nicely articulated and while the paintjob and detailing is somewhat minimalistic, it still looks pretty good overall and there are no unpainted grey parts or any such things. In total I must say that Fracture looks pretty good. Unlike most other RID bad guys he is not animal-themed, but that doesn’t hurt him any. A good robot mode. Not spectacular, but good.

Alternate Mode: Fracture transforms into a futuristic motorbike. Both wheels turn and there is a flip-out stand. The handles are unmoving, so no steering, but the whole thing still looks pretty cool. It is possible to sit another Transformers figure on the bike, but it’s pretty wide so make sure it’s one who can properly spread his legs. Fracture’s big gun can be mounted on the side (thereby making it even harder to put a rider on this bike) to add firepower. Not sure what else I can write here. A cool-looking motorbike. Thumbs up for this mode.

Remarks: From what we’ve seen of Fracture in the RID cartoon so far, he’s basically Lockdown, the bounty hunter, just without the interesting back story and the disturbing habit of collecting parts of his victims to upgrade himself. Fracture came to Earth to collect the bounty on Bumblebee, ended up stranded instead and joined Steeljaw’s team, only to be captured in the season finale. We’ll see if he manages to become interesting in season 2.

The initial waves of RID toys have been very sparse on the bad guys, but now we’re finally seeing some more of them. Fracture was among the more prominent bad guys in the first season (at least in terms of screen time), so it’s nice to see him in the Warrior class (he’s getting a 1-Step Changer and a Minicon Deployer, too). The toy as such is good. Nothing more than that, but worth it for finally bolstering your bad guy ranks a bit.

My Transformers Adventure TAV-36 Fracture came today and he's awesome! The extra paint makes this guy way better than the Hasbro version. Should you get the Takara one over the Hasbro one? HECK YEAH!

I'm going to write a really short review...

The Bad: I kind of wish he didn't have a kick stand. It's completely pointless as his vehicle mode is fully capable of supporting itself without the kick stand. You can't even get to it with his weapon attached. And it actually gets in the way of the weapon, not by much but enough to make it annoying. They could of at least put a pet hole on the other side. The main reason it causes such a problem is because the weapon can only be attached to one side of the vehicle mode and it's the same side as the kick stand.

The good: I posed him with First Edition and Prid Arcees from Prime and they look great together. I'm surprised no one else has done this.

Picked him up today. Not bad, but I think I'm kind of on an off period for Transformers. Nice transformation, and looks nice, but is kind of meh for me right now.

In hand, I'm actually going with the normal gun position, I do appreciate that it's molded that he can hold the gun with the curve/peg fitting right inside the elbow.

Pretty nifty toy. Not as fun as Quillfire or Thunderhoof (picked all three up at the same time), and maybe not as cool as Animated Oil Slick.. but really, there's nothing wrong with him. Has the whole range of articulation one can by now expect from a regular bike transformer.

Glad they slightly changed his altmode from the show's hoverbike to one actually one wheels. Think that looks a bit less generic too. I own the Takara version but I think this is one of the couple where the different paintjobs don't really matter too much. Fun thing!

^Fracture has an Earth bike alt mode in the show too. The hoverbike is only in his debut ep.

I think Fracture is probably the best toy in the whole line so far. Fun transformation, good articulation and poseability, and not compromised by any appearance quirks.

I bought Fracture and Quillfire from HLJ to test the waters of this line. They were the only warriors that looked appealing to me and after having them in hand I think I made a good choice.

Agreed. Of the 2, Fracture is definitely my favorite. I have TAV Scorponok on preorder, but I think I'll add Bisk and Paralon to my Warrior Decepticon ranks and call it quits.
