I only wish there was finally a review up of Bruticus, with good pictures. I can so-so combine the one Onslaught review on Youtube with the shots of individual robots, but nothing beats the full review of the combined mode.

 

Love him to death. lucky my waist ahs no problems whatsoever. MVP of the wave for me.

Don't forget about the cannons on his back, those should be a little bit longer. But hey that's just me talking.

 

I just ordered an extra cyclonus/galvatronus so the two will be donating their grey cannons to bruticus' back.

I got mine yesterday from BBTS and the waist is solid. It isn't a loud click but it does hold in place just fine.
He's alright, nothing to write home about but he's a new mold and he does the job. Just next to Swindle he's not a lot of fun. There's some nice design elements but his arms are so limited that you can't really get him into any decent poses. Still, he makes a fine leg.

 

Am I the only one with an issue regarding his color? This "mud" color isn't flying with me... Why isn't he green? Him and Blast Off are almost the same color...

This is my second favorite. They are hitting it out of the park for me with these Combaticons. That peg configuartion really helps me enjoy the figure more and the colors scream Brawl to me. I also like that I have a way to store all weapons on his back so I can make him more of a brawler than a gunner.

 

Apologies if the question has already been asked, but how does Brawl look
with his combiner peg flipped out, to fill in the gap of his mid-section?
For my own sanity id love to see a picture.

 

Sorry I can't post a picture but he looks better with the peg flipped down a bit, he gains a bit more of a build to him that fits him better.

On a side note placing FOC Brawl's pistol in his hand works better for me than the one he comes with. I'm still using the original as a back turret but Brawl is now perfect for me.

Just got this guy with the rest of his wave mates, and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. I was expecting the worst based on other reviews, but his waist locks in solid enough for my purposes. If you shake him around enough it comes loose, but it's solid the rest of the time.

The one thing that perplexes me is the turret though. I was looking at him next to 07 Deluxe Brawl, and I don't see why they couldn't have given him a similar mount, that would allow the forward backward movement and the rotation.

Anyways, other then that he's a solid figure.

 

Powerglide1991 found that the crotch may be misassembled backwards and turning it with swapping the legs fixes the locking issues for robot mode over in the Combiner Wars Appreciation thread.

I don't like it either. It almost looks brown. I'm hoping the Takara one has a greener olive green color.

 

And I discovered a second way to do what Powerglide is suggesting if you don't want to pop the legs. His does click tighter than my methods, I will admit. As someone says, it does feel like they misassembled Brawl and didn't realize the mistake until he was carded and sent off.
