Probably my favorite of the 3. My only complaints are that the collar gets in the way of the head a little and one of the nullrays are a little tight and pulled the paint off the fins on the arms. Sorry for the crummy pics.
I was all hyped to get Slipstream, but I really don't like her face sculpt. Her smile is a bit too dopey in my opinion. Oh well, I'll just get Legends Windblade instead.
So, anyone who can tell me what brand of paint could give a color close to this teal plastic of her wings? I'm pondering if to not replace her wings with rotorless ones, but I'd need a paint as close in color with plastic as it's possible.
All that remolding and they couldn't bother making her feet flip down for alt mode... So close TakTom.....oh so close.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Anyway, the colors are definitely nice, but I'm not sure the mold really works for Slipstream. Mediocre headsculpt aside, I think I kind of prefer club Slipstream.
She has a slight smile but the way the face catches light is making it look bigger than it really is.
Here's some more pics of the Seeker Clone! The deco is absolutely beautiful. Everything's so metallic and gorgeous. I'm so psyched to have a version of Animated Slipstream in my collection, even if it isn't the new completely Animated mold she deserves. Now, Ramjet and Thundercracker please and "Thank you". The head-sculpt is wonderful but the smile is "meh". For a character who's personality could be summed up as "angry and mean" the smile is a little OOC.
Dangit, I wasn't going to cave on this but the review and photos pushed me over the edge. It helps that I don't have Windblade so this mold will be 'all new' for me.
Other than the issues she has from being the Windblade mold, I find her to be a really cool figure. She'll make a nice addition to my TFP Decepticon ranks.
Man, I can't wait to get my hands on this figure. She turned out really well, although like others, I'm not super fond of the smile. At certain angles, it almost looks like the :3 face Sweet jeebus, I'd forgotten how big Animated figures were, especially compared to modern releases
Slipstream looks amazing, if it wasn't for the fact she uses the Windblade mold I'll be tempted to pick her up.
On mine The heel spurs are TIGHT, Feels Like I need to force them to move sometimes, So if others are like that, She is stable as frag
