It was easy to do... I just trimmed the wings down so that they could fit into the slots on his shoulders. They lock in and really add to the look.

This is easily my favorite out of the wave. My love for Prowl aside, he's a very nice update from the previous Universe version we got and I can't seem to want to put him down. Maybe because I liked the previous versions of Mirage and Sunstreaker and think Ironhide isn't enough like him, but Prowl is very Prowl.

Combiner Wars might catch flak for being repaint-heavy (and it certainly is that), but I'm glad a lot of the molds are so versatile. Dead End, Streetwise and Prowl are all very good looking bots.

I propose that Prowl is most solid of the uses for this mold. My Deadend is floppy in the hips/shoulders, Wildrider is the same. Streetwise is better, but still a bit flaky in the hips. Prowl is solid. I wish his gun was molded black.

Im amaze, this version also have better joints compare to streetwise and deadend. Im usually iritated to the connector the one from the legs but not on this version since its integrated better? How come the latest version have better joints than the 1st wave?

Seekers have always been awesome in the fiction, but I never buy all of them in toy form. I just wouldn't feel like I'd be getting my money's worth.

If you enjoy paying the same price for almost the same toy that's your business. I'd rather not. I mean, they didn't even bother to mold a new weapon for them!

After being quite dubious of two waves of wasteful looking Autobot car remolds - Combiner Wars Prowl has turned out to be one of my favourite figures from the line.

It is like crack, I swear to god. Every time I see a repaint and think "nah I'll save my money", it ends up swapping places with money from my bank account and being a belter.

I have put a review up on my blog, if anyone is interested

Love this pic, he's so Sledge Hammer. "Trust me, I know what I'm doing." Except that, you know, he actually does know what he's doing.

Great review! I'm not totally into the CW, but this is one of the best looking figs in the line IMO. Both robot and alt mode are great. I'm also becoming a Prowl fan to where I have to have every version of him regardless of the line.

All stock baby, out of the box! As if we need another reason to get this guy, I figured out a way to mount shoulder rockets on. He just went from ten to eleven.

More of a fan mode but it holds nicely. Just curl the fist like so and the fingers fit perfectly in the center. It'll stay there unless you flip Prowl upside down.

thats a pretty solid find dude. To have him on the shelf, thats satisfying. That will work with smokescreen too.

I almost forgot a little tip that makes the shoulder mount more stable. In bot mode, pull the hood on Prowl's back ever so slightly outward. This will give the clearance for the front bumper (the two vertical bush guard bits) to fit perfectly into the groove inside the palmed finger indentations. Makes a world of difference.

Surprisingly good, his stark white matches perfectly with the white on First Aid and Blades. Streetwise is now the odd "man" out. They all have the red ,white and black colors going. For me, Prowl is the newest member of the Protectobots. Unless Deluxe Groove gets a Hasbro release, maybe.
