I wouldn't go to that much trouble. It would wear out over time. I'd say pop the pins out and swap the hands around.

I'd be curious to see a pic of Mirage in robot mode with the front of the car flipped back, but not rotated and pegged into the back of the figure. Would it be evocative of the Classics version, or just awkward looking?

Mirage is definitely VERY good looking in person.

Since only he and Prowl came so far, I turned them into legs for Optimus and discovered something I would have known if I had looked at instructions. I never had Drag Strip in leg mode. I couldn't figure out why Mirage was taller than Prowl in leg mode. I never knew those parts of the feet flipped forward. Ha! Learn something new every day!

 

If you fold down Breakdown's feet for his leg mode he'll match Dragstrip in height so you can make a slightly taller combiner.

 

He looks good, but I'm just not interested in endless repaints. I'm especially disappointed in the fact that they all have the EXACT same weapons.

 

I want to see the backwards chest too. There's a few of Dragstrip, but I want to see it with Mirage.

Got mine from Amazon. Mine has a much harder time locking together than Dragstrip. As in it's too tight and I have to use quite a bit of force to get stuff to lock together. Other than that, the figures looks awesome in hand. I'm having a hard time figuring out which one I like best, Mirage or Dragstrip. Mirage just pops.
