Cyclonus seems pretty cool from the pics, but getting a Sweep team that can form limbs for him would be awesome.

Like this or you mean swap the heads to repurpose the figure into a separate galvatron figure

 

No, the Cyclones and Combiner heads are intended for opposite ends of the body so no way of doing this without modifying.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, regarding the helmet shape. A bit more of a stetch, but you could also say the "age lines" on his face are vaguely evocative of IDW Cyclonus' skeletal features in the right light. I would feel pretty comfortable calling the face a mixture of G1 cartoon and IDW, with a bit of G1 toy thrown in for good measure.

Either way, he looks amazing and I need this guy yesterday. I don't have the Universe one, and looking at this, I don't want it. I want my Cyclonus to be big and tough-looking, and this is it. I can't wait to pose my Tailgate sitting on his shoulder or something. XD

 

Really my main complaint as well. I'm hoping for a 3rd party head for this guy with maybe a better weapon. The IDW head design looks stunning IMO. This face design makes him look more "creepy old witch" than "ancient warrior" IMO. Maybe painting the cheeks partially black will help?

Yeah I had no interest in Silverbolt but I'm getting this badass! I have no idea which limbs I'll display him with (I don't have any of the Aerialbots so I guess Stunticons? Although I have all the Protectobots on preorder and some of them have color schemes that would go better with him...).

That would be perfect. And a Jhiaxus that turns into a gun for him!

I feel the same way about his helmet/face. I like to think the whole figure is a mixture,he's big and blocky like G1.His nosecone behind him could be toy accurate or in the IDW comics his nosecone sits behind him and plus his wings in the comics are angled behind his shoulders instead of pointing out like in G1

 

I don't have any Cyclonus, so this will fill that gap even if he never gets his own limbs.

 

You're in for a treat if this is your first Cyclonus then. It's very good.

Love the jet mode. I'm surprised at how good it looks + the contrast with Silverbolt's jet mode. The head I guess in a way, is fitting since it's unique in a way, an almagation that doesn't stick to one specific continuity. That's fitting for Generations.

Torso mode is cool, had no idea it was substantially different from the Superion torso, even aside from the head! The Galvatronus head is alright but I would've preferred a new super mode Cyclonus head instead. Would've been cool if the cannon was orange too to further the Galvatron homage.

A Great Sword and different gun would've been nice. I know I sound pretty contradictory but all things considered, it's a hell of a retool. I'll probably buy it but I want to see what Takara does with theirs 1st.

 

Other than the nosecone tip (I assume), are any parts rubber?
