Two of the Transformers Adventure figures I ordered came in today. Since I didn't see a feedback thread for them, I figured I'd make them with some minireviews I wrote up. Rollbar has more paint apps than Hasbro Strongarm, but likely about as many as the (Not pictured) Takara Strongarm. She also has tighter joints than Strongarm. It might be because of better QC or she's just not broken in like my Strongarm is. Either way, she definitely has a bit less of that overall "cheapness" feel that Hasbro's RiD figures have. Biggest differences are obviously the overall paint scheme difference. Including her wonderfully evil looking face. She has a stripe on her chest which isn't on either version of Strongarm. On the vehicle mode, the biggest differences are the purple on her wheel's rims (Takara Strongarm, I believe, also has highlights there), the police siren is replaced with the sort of lights you see on a construction vehicle or freight vehicle or what have you, and there's the Decepticon symbol on her grill. The emblem is still shaped for an Autobot symbol, so the Decepticon symbol is a bit smaller to fit properly. I believe she's based on the Car Robots/oldRiD character of the same name. Hopefully, she isn't meant to be gender swapped into male, but I don't think that matters much for a toy only character. I think she's neat and helps build up the nuRiD Decepticons a bit. Or works as a Strongarm turned bad or Stinger-esque clone. Can't wait to check out Roadblock (hopefully) next week. Sorry about the mess in the pictures! Thanks for reading!
