don't know if it's everyone or just me, but everytime i try to move his arms (drag strip and breakdown) up or down, the whole assembly with motormaster's arms rotates. any no-mod/mistranformation-only fixes?
Many of us would like to know how exactly you did the leg mod here. Can you provide a quick tutorial or explanation? Thanks!
Just received my remaining Stunticons, so I'm finally able to create Menasor... I was expecting it to fail in comparison with Superion (which, despite being very meh on the Aerialbots team since their birth, I feel is a VERY solid combiner). Fact is, however, that I really, really like him. I'm keeping him in 'stock' mode, but I'm pulling the crotch piece down. This creates some gaps in his thighs area, which I feel doesn't really matter since combiners aren't 'natural' to begin with (allowing some freedom in their hulkish looks). For me this solves all problems with the awkward look: legs don't feel too long, and the body no longer feels too short. So happy to finally own him!
Yeah especially once you get him next to Superion you realize everything is proportionate he's just got a different body type. I finished Menasor first I never realized the size difference when I seen them together online.
I still haven't found Motormaster, but I'll probably be ordering the wave 2 deluxes tomorrow. I dunno why he's not up on TRU.ca. :/
I had to tighten the waist and knees of Motormaster and I ended up using the "chicken legs" configuration (where the thigh peg goes to the slots below the knee). The end result looks so good and functions quite well -- he can actually do that "Iron Man punching the floor" pose.
No not top heavy at all. With the leg situated the way they are it gives the figure some decent balance. The figure is basically a mess in any pose but the positioning gives it a little bit extra.
I've got a small Combiner Wars collection so far, but enough now to start having fun with it. Much happier with Motormaster/Menasor now that I've got his body bulked out a bit. Not sure if I'll have as much success with Blackjack once I get a chance to fiddle around with him. (Shrapnel's hands are perfect for Menasor's nips!)
I'll probably be getting Dragstrip and Wildrider soon enough, and then hopefully I'll have enough to get the remaining three by the end of the month. Looking forward to having the three Scramble-core Combiners all together

Okay, I can't find Motormaster in any stores in my area because they all keep stocking wave 1 voyagers. Is there supposed to be some big reset with the retail chains that I don't know about?
You too, huh? My Wal Mart keeps selling out and restocking Primes and Silverbolts with no Motormaster. He finally showed up on TRU.ca... out of stock. This is weird.
I know. It's almost like Hasbro's waiting for the new Leaders to hit US retail before everything's released at once.
Okay, after having all three of the combiner teams completed, I've got to say that Menasor is easily my favorite. Superion is good, but I dislike the thin thighs. Defensor is okay, but Hot Spot is kind of weak. Menasor is solid, big and has loads of character.
It's not Hasbro it's the individual stores that can't distribute product to their own stores, Hasbro sold them these products along time ago. I don't know why people cant seem to get it?
Yeah, I got the knees figured out. I just need to do the peg trim Optimusfan came up with. For me, having to fix a figure straight out of the box knocks it down a few pegs.
