    Hello All,

So I recently picked up deluxe wave 2 of Combiner Wars which consists of 3 Stunticons and 1 Aerialbot.

As a wave they feel superior to wave 1. The 1 Aerialbot seems like a better figure (character interests aside) than the 3 the came before. In the same way DragStrip (as good a figure as he is) seems like step 1 in the process of learning what work whereas the 3 team mates all feel superior across the board.

    That's enough on that topic.

Here is Combiner Wars Breakdown. For me he is the best of the bunch running Dead End real close. In the end there's an aesthetic preference which is purely my opinion plus an awesome head and some nice little touches here and there.

Firstly here is his vehicle mode.

Again the underneath is not a mess and looks quite decent thanks to the addition of a chest plate that pegs into the bonnet underneath to create the front bumper.

Transformation continues the trend of streamlined yet satisfying.

The first step is just fold the entire front of the car over on to the back.

Next unpeg the rear of the vehicle and begin to straiten the legs out. The have a joint that folds on itself so each leg pulls out and then down. The arms are folded in half to form the doors and do so very neatly.

Something that I do like on Breakdown is when you fold the head and chestplate down they are locked into place by a collar piece that is part of the arm transformation. The next picture tries to show one arms fully transformed and one not yet to illustrate what happens.

When transformed you have a definitive Breakdown with some nice posability.

As far as articulation goes there is a foot swivel (up and down); the feet have the angles on them to allow for wide stances; ball joint head; arms are double jointed; shoulder joint; waist joint; knees and thighs. He's covered on an most of the major areas.

His weapon is a sword/blade but it can also be held like a bayonet rifle - I like this.

Another solid Stunticon here and if the quality improvement on wave 3 is this high (wave 1 was great imo) then Defensor will be a very special addition to Combiner Wars.

How does he actually feel, quality-wise? He looks super-hollow and cheap and I can't escape the impression that he'd feel frail in hand. It'd hope to hear if that's not the case.

The character art shows what appears to be his combiner handfoot pegged on his back (with the cannons pointing up). Can this be done, and does he look good with it?

He's basically saying they can take a beating and come out relatively unscathed.

He's not awful, but is the weakest looking Stunticon IMHO.

My personal preference on the deluxe side is:

    Dead End
    Breakdown
    Offroad
    Dragstrip

I'm not saying Dragstrip is bad (far from it) but they've kicked it up a notch on the whole wave.

Looks great no question but somehow the mold on robot mode kinda looks out dated lols, thanks for the review man.

Btw instead of questioning each of your review thread might as well ask how are the wave 2 stunticons? are they solid and not floppy mess? does everything fit? thanks!
