Can't believe that Animated is shorter.

 

Shorter maybe. His tits are intimidatingly big in comparison though. CW Megatron would get swallowed into his cleavage should they indulge in manhugs on a pissed up Evil Night Out.

 

Is this mold base of from a comic version of Megatron? Or just a retool of Armada Megatron? I had regretted not picking it up when I saw it. I'm sure it's still being released in stores. But just caved and ordered on target.

 

That is an epic collection of Megatrons but I think you're missing the best of the bunch.

I'm more impressed that you managed to transform MP Megatron.

This an an all - new G1 inspired Classics design, but you can use it to represent Comic Megs if you like. (Takara's is coloured G1 cartoon accurate)
Armada Megatron is a retool of this toy to homage the original Armada toy (or the Cybertronian body for the Takara ver.).

Just found this guy at Walmart. As of quality he is great. Silver paint rocks and the rubber treads are a welcome. Thank mode is great but I find robot mode to be just ok. His shoulders are a little thin and I don't like his feet. He is a great classics style megatron that walks all over the henkei.

 

I've had this guy a week now and I am loving him. He's not as good as Magnus in my eyes, but he's pretty damn close. Flaws and all, I think he may be my favourite Megatron figure in my collection

 

Just opened my Megatron this week.
Now I can understand why some people would rate this figure lower than Jetfire.
While it looks great in both modes, all the ratchet joints really kill the enjoyment of the toy in bot mode. Taking out the ratchet pieces from hips and shoulders will make thing much better. Also, the shoulder joint position bothers me way more than expected and I don't really like how the feet were designed.
Still think this toy is a lot better than Jetfire, just not as good as I thought.

 

Not sure what the fuss about the shoulders are. They look pretty good.

All you need is a philip's screw driver



Button/switch location then rotate clockwise



Clockwise he mass shifts into a smaller mode. Be careful though the mechanism auto searches any combiner hand. He is a combiner wars toy after all.



Counterclock wise depending on the pressure, CW Megs can either go back to tank or bot mode.

So I've had this guy for a while and his ankle has been bothering me. His left ankle does not seem to want to click into place at the last ratchet for robot mode. Anyone else have a similar issue?

 

So yeah, I am late to the party, but I just received this figure from my brother for my birthday.

I freakin' love this rendition of him. I don't have any 3rd party Megatrons but I do have the unfortunate Masterpiece and the Takara Classics mold. I was first put off by his size for my Classics collection, but the fact that he turns into a tank has swayed my opinion greatly. possibly the best OFFICIAL rendition of Megs we've gotten.

Not to say he's not without flaws. His posing is awkward, especially in the legs department. He can't really position himself in a sit-down posture, and aside from just straightforward, his feet really don't accomplish much in any other degree.

Do I wish his arm cannon had more menace? yes. But you can make this work and if you even extend his tank turret out in robot form, there is some .

But the details on this figure is sensational, and I wish we'd get more characters with this much dedication. This really is one of those figures you must witness in-hand to judge rather than looking at photos.

 

I got mine missing the shoulder joint on his cannon arm.
