I got him for retail at collectibles store.

Overall I'm quite pleased. He's very articulated with head that can look left and rigt, ball jointed knees and hips and he was even blessed with swivels at the arms. Transformation is unique and feels almost as complex as a deluxe.

 

Looks good. What's his underside like? I'm curious how he attaches to the twin pegs in Motormaster.

 

Blackjack's pegs on his axe don't seem to be fitting appropriately in his middle tab-slots on the vehicle mode top, where it would be placed for the Menasor figure. One tab goes in, the other requires a little scary amount of jamming.

 

Mine doesn't have it too bad, but yeah one part pegs in deeper than the other.

 

Cool. Is this the same mold they're gonna use for Rodimus?

 

I didn't realize he could peg onto Superion, that's kind of neat. Also, what adorable pose is Tailgate in?  

 

is it just me or does it look like Blackjack would make a decent Glyph figure?

 

Not a bad looking figure, I might get it.

 

I love how Legends class actually have other uses besides just being cool little figures with their combiner ability and their interaction with Metroplex. Seriously getting Metro made me want to load up on legends class figures.

Thanks for sharing the pics! Is there any way to peg the axe into the back in bot mode? I'm curious if the Rodimus repaint will be able to use the axe as his "wings".

 

In the promo picture of Rodimus, as small as it is, it shows the axe is used like that. Shame they went Rodimus rather than Goldbug, they wouldn't have needed to do a new head!

He's looking a cool little figure in his own right, shame his main function for a lot of people will be to make Menasor look complete.
