Yeah my Skydive is a little loose at some of the joints. Nothing that can't be solved with a bit o' Future. I like him a lot more than I thought I would, he looked the weakest of the bunch in pics, but he's surprisingly cool in hand.

Skydive is the first limb I bought, he's a pretty cool little dude great Vehicle mode and a really nice looking Robot mode and lovely headsculpt.

Not too fond of the Hand/Foot/Weapon piece it doesn't look great as a Gun but I'm glad it can be wielded by him so you don't have to put it somewhere else.

so with mine, the wings keep popping off everytime i just breath on them, i can use the floor polish or the clear nail polish right? but do i coat the wing part or the jet part? or does that not really matter

Does anyone know if there's been talk of a 3rd party company creating a new head to replace the fugly stock Skydive headsculpt?

He's probably my least favorite Aerialbot because his headsculpt just looks so bad to me. Really hoping a 3rd party steps in there and gives us a more G1 looking head for this figure.

Take the wings off and coat just the wing. Let it dry then see if it helps. If not you can apply it to the other part.

glad to see quality stays consistent. his shoulders are impossible to move without the wings flying off and now one of them is lost in the car.

    sigh. onto 3P.

I've never had a problem with his wings coming off. When you say move the arms, you mean when you swing the entire red shoulder part for transformation? I don't see how the wings could fall off unless they're someone getting caught on something.

To spend 6x as much for a figure that'll probably also have some kind of quality issue if the current 3P trend continues, except you can't just simply return that one for a better sample.

I actually agree. The weird thing about this figure is taht the joints were not loose but not like tight like your average figure, yet despite constant handling since I got him he's still just as tight. It's weird, but I have some Pledge Finish just in case. He's pretty cool, I like his cheekless, almost ghoulish face, neutral expression and broad shoulders. Gives him a vibe of a personality like Rhinox who's super tough but typically calm and quiet.

It's a tie between Skydive and Air Raid for my favourite Aerialbot. Both originate in the same gene pool so I guess I just like the physicality both toolings lend themselves to.

I'm with SPLIT in loving his stockiness. That massive upper body and shiny red paint juxtaposed with the black make him look like he's daring you to just have a pop at him. The headsculpt seems very divisive but I really like it. There's a stillness to it. He's the sort of guy who will weigh you up in a fight by letting you swing first and still look back at you with the same expression after the first punch fails to impress.

And the articulation, through relatively basic is also unencumbered by kibble and whatnot, so he's a great little toy to mess about with and make look cool. That's actually a thumbs up almost across the board for the Combiner Wars line as a whole though.

Initially, I HATED the headsculpt on Skydive. But, after receiving one as a Father's Day gift, it has really grown on me. Definitely a fan now.

As with the other Aerialbots, Skydive is one of the best in the Combiner Wars line.

However, as a sidenote the elbow ratchet on Skydive's right arm is very loose. He can't hold his gun up because the ratchet is too weak. Any ideas on how to disassemble and tighten the ratchet?

Either try to pop it off the joint(kinda hard) or drip in some clear nail polish or future in the joint, let it dry for at least 24 hours and if its still lose try another coat. Had to do this to a couple CW figures I got,Skydive being one of them, the UW versions didnt have this issue.
