Just got him yesterday and love it.... except that Superion's head is a pain to get out of the chest cavity. I need to use a small screwdriver to pry it out, and that shouldn't have to be that way. Anyone else have this problem and is there a simple fix for it?

    thanks

Eager to hear of a good fix for that too, because yeah, I have to pry his head out every time. It's a pain.

Finally got this guy. He is solid figure. Great I all 3 modes. Probably the best combiner torso so far.

So I was messing around with Silverbolt just now. I was transforming him from torso mode to robot mode and I saw this

Anyone know of a way to fix this?

Ok, I think I got a fix done. And no mods req'd.

Flip down Silverbolt's red chest like you're going to expose
the Silverbolt head. Inside his chest you can see the Superion
head. Using a finger you can push on the head or the
abdomen from the inside and it should come out easily.

Be careful that's how I did mine from day one and it puts a lot of pressure on the hinge.

I keep seeing cracks in certain areas of other members Silverbolt, makes me want to grab a 2nd one in case I need a replacement.

Think mine isn't being stressed since it stays in torso mode.

This is what I've been doing since day one without any problem.

    Same.

I still really like this guy despite not owning any limb-bots. I just like putting him in torso mode.

BUT now that I have limb-bots, I can say Superion's freaking awesome. I have him in a wide-legged stance with the thumbs on the feet propping him up for bent-knee poses, and it's not just holding, it's holding solidly. Blew on it, shook the desk, smacked it kinda once by accident and he still stands in this unstable-looking pose!

This figure, and by extension the combiner and all first wave mates can be summed up as solid. Everything tabs and pegs securely, nothing wants to come apart or unfold. Once combined it doesn't feel like a bunch of smaller toys into a big one, it just feels like a big toy.

Yeah, those thumbs are amazing to make up for the lack on ankle movement.

I got this guy the other day and have been loving him, even without any limbs (as SPLIT LIP said). This is my current display of him, waiting patiently for some combining brothers. A few comments I would make:

1- I don't have a picture of it, but my favorite configuration for his weapons is to peg the gun in on the bottom of the hand (like in the picture) and attatch the shield to the side of the arm; it looks sort of like a flamethrower to me.
2- I have used vidmouse's method of pulling Superion's head out for a while and that's the best method I've found so far. It does worry me though, I hope I don't end up breaking the neck joint.
3- My anntenae have the issue where they won't stay fully erect, but i'm okay with it. It gives him a slightly different look.

So is anyone else having the problem that their Silverbolt's shoulders have started to loosen a bit? When I bought mine he was solid as a rock, now he has a little wiggle room in combined mode that makes him lean backwards. After messing with the shoulders/hips some more I don't think it will loosen further, but I'd like to warn/find a solution for it now.
    Any advice?

decided to get this guy and hot spot and hope we get a scattorshot. don't care about the rest of the teams but love the special team leaders.

silverbolt is absolutely amazing. super dynamic and posable and the headscuplt is spot on. love the shade of blues they painted his eyes. vehicle mode is also killer.

would love a megatron retool of this, especially with the awesome look of the arm mounted gunshield.

I just opened the Airealbots this morning and my 7 year old loves them. He just wants to know why one of them is a helicopter.
