The whole front of the car mode being a backpack is regrettable, but she does look really, really nice.

She looks fantastic. Every Transformer has kibble troubles of some kind, and at least they didn't make it hang of of her arms or legs. Looks like the Arcee we've waited a looooong time for. Now, if BBTS could just get their supply in, I could ship my loot. Funny, this is the first POL I've had that is all Hasbro product.

MMC's doesn't because they split up the pieces more elegantly and the actual robot torso forms the center of the vehicle.

On the other hand, MMC's makes her kiss her own butt :p

I'm getting both, though. I do think that amount of unmodified car kibble is pretty bad, though.

The Igear version, I believe a larger portion the front/hood of the car becomes the chest/abdomen of the robot and I think the backpack was smaller, can't remember anymore since it's been in storage so long.

Exactly. Every 3P attempt at a G1 Arcee I've seen had a backpack. All that car kibble can't just disappear into subspace to maintain that girlish figure.

I know a lot of people like her IDW look but some of us have waited 30 years for this version. They can wait a bit longer.

-SS (I doubt it'll take another 30 to get what they want)

I like it an I am happy to finally get a G1 (not boring) Arcee, just wish they could have treated the front of her card mode (the back kibble) the same way they treated the legs on the transformers prime vehicons.

I like her. She has a great alt mode, and a good bot mode except for back kibble. And she is the pleasant, friendly Arcee I grew up with, who could still kick ass without having to basically become a guy, or be the victim of some horrible cerebral rape to make her vengeful (why is it that female characters these days are so often only allowed the motivational backstory of 'men did this to me and I will become a psycho bitch to exact my revenge'?)

So it's a cheaper version of Cybertron Thunderblast. I'm on board.

Here's my biggest issue. We should have gotten this back when Generations 2.0 was coming to market, if only because the budget was a little more than marginal to develop and add certain features to figures. A lot of that backpack could have been finetuned to give a more sleek look (collapsing the center of the hood to allow the two sides to come in further, pivots for the wheels to fold in), but because there is a very specific budget to come up on, corners have to be cut. I'm not saying that this showing is bad, on the contrary, this is Hasbros version of shut your pie hole to all the naysayers and 3P designers. But I think they could have done even better.

    Meh' doesn't look that great.

Can't help but feel this figure would have been a lot better if it were it release in the RTS line.

This is the best possible Arcee we could have hoped for at this pricepoint. I am all about it.

Igears backpack was quite big. Same as impossible toys shoddy version and the same as this lateset offering.

When you consider that the 3rd party arcees are $50 upwards and this on is gonna be about $10 - $15, I don't see what the fuss is about

Well I'll be damned. When I first saw this figure I was worried about it being back heavy with tiny feet but it appears Hasbro learned a trick or two.

    Translation: Dem Heel spurs.

While I'm not really fond of the design, would just prefer an IDW or WFC look, I hope this gets retooled into Elita One. I think this mold would work for her and, much like Arcee, its about damn time she got a toy with G1 accuracy.

Looks pretty great to me. Looks like the Arcee I've been wanting for all these years.

I think most are let down by the lackluster transformation which leads to the back kibble they got as opposed to the kibble they wanted, and the big one for me - no waist or wrist movement. Those are what stop a good figure from being a great figure.

I will say that the head sculpt and the alt mode look very good. I like the guns, but the swords will stay in the package. I would have liked to see that plastic donated to a flip down red visor but that was a long shot to begin with.

Right... but MMC's isn't really G1 Arcee... It's their own re-design. This is as G1 as we are gonna get, unless they randomly decide to do an MP one... I'm not willing to wait another 30 years though... so I will be buying this one, for sure!
