Anyone know what color red I'd need to touch up Wheeljack's stripes?

Take care with flattening his wings in for car mode.

Mine have always been stiff, today one actually cracked around the pin, there is a small nub that clicks the wing in/out of position, it is a fraction too big to make the transition easily. Shaving it down slightly fixes the issue on the unbroken one and will reduce more damage on the broken one.

    I'm wondering if it's an age thing---I just cracked a wing-hinge today. :(

Posting here because it'll get more attention.. Same mold. I just transformed my Exhaust from robot to car and back... And now one of his wings won't stay erect in robot mode. It wants to tip over his shoulder a bit and won't stay straight... Ugh...

Just looked at mine and one of the pin hinges on one of the side is cracked clear through. I would have been willing to swear that it wasn't cracked the last time I messed with him a few months back, and I don't ever even use that joint for transformation.

I'm starting to believe the fear of clear plastics in joints. Also LOLing at people describing Wheeljack as "the last high quality MP." To be honest he was never one of my favorite MPs anyway, but these fragile wings are ridiculous.

You never need to bend the wings more than a few mm at their transformation joint, and never past the point where they give any resistance...they can stay almost completely flat during transformation, as long as you rotate them past the wheels at a certain point.

Noticed it during the first transformation as I tried to bend them too far...I was certain they would break before noticing that you never need to bend the wings at the fragile joint with the *very* hard. And it is also helpful to not move the wings by grabbing the tips, rather hold them as close to the hinge as possible when moving them.

I have this same issue with scraping of the roof / windshield when transforming both ways. Whenever I open his roof to put in or take out the head, the side windows scrape against the front windshield. This is concerning. Anyone else have this problem? I did not notice it when transforming WJ the first few times.

Anybody else have this problem? Misery loves company.

For real - can anyone relate to this particular problem?

I just got this figure the other day. (I know, I know I'm extremely late to the party)

Due to budget and space issues, I collect mostly Classics figures with some G1 mixed in my collection as well.

The thing I really like about the Masterpiece carbots is that they're somewhere between Deluxe and Voyager scale. IMO this means that they look perfect with my Classics collection both aesthetically and by scale.

Wheeljack is my first one so far. (I still want to get Prowl and Tracks) and he's an exceptional figure. Already one of my favorite Transformers figures ever. I love his look in both modes. The transformation is fun and he has this solid heft to him for not being that big. MP Wheeljack also looks great next to KuBianBao MP-10V Voyager Masterpiece Optimus Prime.

Being my first foray into the Official Takara Tomy MP carbots, he is perfect. He has me anxious to get Tracks and Prowl now.

Ive notices on mine recently that the white plastic is looking a bit dingy, starting to yellow? Anyone else seen this on theirs yet?
