*megatronski would let out a scream, the pain of getting stabbed through the stomach only intensified by the twisting of his wrist* "oowah.... Yeah, this fight better end quick, or I'm gonna bleed out eventually..." *That's when megatronski deployed a pair of shoulder mounted cannons, and aimed them towards UM84's chest, firing.* "Let's see if I can widdle down that chest armor just a bit more..."
He would lose his grip of the spear, though it would quickly fade away as UM84 would throw his arms up to block the cannon fire but he did not react in enough time and as such, it would still send him flying across the arena. He would fall to the floor with a heavy thud. Though, it would take only a few moments for UM84 to pick himself right back up, clutching at his cracking chest armor. "This is almost over..." He would hold out his hand and summon forth an arrow composed of energy, a bow made from similar material as his spear and sword. He would take aim at his foe's left ankle, draw back the arrow and release...
*Trying to avoid UM84's arrow, megatronski kinda just flails around, it manages to clip his left foot, stinging like a b*tch.* "Hammer... blew up. Sword... dropped that somewhere... pistol.... pretty much useless... Cannons... out of ammo... I must say, you've done a pretty good job of wearing me out, but I've got one more trick up my sleeve...." "AS LEADER OF THE ENIGMATIC, NEVER-AROUND MAOCHAO VESPA NOMADS, I CANNOT BE DEFEATED HERE!" *megatronski manifests a large paw with sharp, sharp claws on his left arm, and a drill on his right arm, revving up the drill and lunging towards UM84's already super weakened chest armor* "Heh, hope this does something significant, cause this is gonna take most of what I have left out of me...."
Knowing that he had NO chance of withstanding the oncoming attack before his chest armor would burst, UM84 would wait until the right moment and duck to the side. Alas, the drill did succeed and break open his chest plating, the scratch from his claws even added to the pain in his chest region. But he knew that he couldn't lose now and refused to be defeated here. And so, he would summon forth his trusty sword mid fall and slash the passing author across the chest before crashing to the floor. "Nn-nngh...." He groaned, pushing himself up with his slightly rattling arms, UM84 would clutch his wounded chest with his right hand and hoist himself up with the support of his blade in the left.
*Megatronski's once yellow vespa chest armor had been absolutely destroyed from the 2 major attacks on it, dyed a deep red from all the blood... He could barely prop himself up with one of his arms, let alone stand. His drill and claws de-manifested themselves as well. "Gah.... Yeah, I'd say I got mere minutes left... but I can try and make those minutes count" *megatronski would un-holster the once-useless pistol, and plug it into the remaining power supply of his Vespa armor* "Eh... this pistol was pretty much useless before, but maybe I can put what's left of my armor's power supply in it, boost it a little... and UM84's chest armor has finally been breached. Maybe I can do something, maybe not, but It all rides on this..." *fire's weapon*
And UM84 would trudge towards his weakened opponent, a stone faced glare being used as his present expression. The blast, while undeniably strong in it's magnitude and difficult enough to block, it was still a feat that he could manage. Once the blast was knocked off to the side, it would blast a crater into the side of the arena and bring up a large smoke cloud. That would be UM84's cover to go in for a mad rush, his sword held high in the air until he was close enough to Megatronski. His blade would swing down and...stop just a few inches above his head. "...Heh." He would start to chuckle, offering his free hand to his resourceful opponent. "Ya know...I don't know a lot of people who would actually have the stones to fight me for anything... And yet, you never backed down." The mech clad in angel armor would point to the damage inflicted on his chest. "Hell, I didn't expect this from you...you may not be enough to beat me...but since you gave it your all anyway...I will forfeit the prize of beta readership to you."
*megatronski would hang his head back and laugh* "Intense, man, that was in-freakin-tense, dude. You don't have to give that up if you don't want to... Heh, I guess that's part of holding up the entire "Angel" appearance you got goin'.... Great fight, great fight." *It was at that point that megatronski fainted, a whole swarm of Vespa riding Maochao's entered the arena, picked up megatronski, and sped out into the distance without a word.* ((But really, great RP dude. I did a few Gundam RP's somewhere else a while back, but none of them were as good as this one. You don't gotta forfeit that if you don't want to, you did win, after all.))
((Okay can we get a mod to change this to RP Battle thread or something? Seriously I would love to see this be a thing where we come and either solve a problem or do it for fun ))
(Oh, that was my plan from the beginning. I already have my own ties to Nexus Season four, so I don't need it. I just wanted to make it interesting. And I'm glad that you had fun. Henceforth, this room will be used for any battles that begin in Stone's thread or just at random between people who want to duke it out amongst us authors/Nexus fans.) "Who said that I didn't want to? I just wanted to make this whole thing interesting." He grinned down at the other author, watching as the Vespas took him away for the obvious repairs that he may need. He would continue to clutch his own chest and gesture towards the exiting group of Maochaos and their leader. "Pass the word to Stone...He has won the prize for his tenacity."
Road warps down into the arena "UM head to the medbay for repairs man....you did great." Road helps UM stand a bit more with a small smile
*MEANWHILE, IN A DEEP DARK CAVE SOMEWHERE ON SHINKEON* Megatronski:"Whoo! I'M ALIVE" Maochao: You shouldn't push yourself, those are some preeetty bad injuries... Megatronski: Yeah... About that, Let's get to work on designing some newer, tougher armor... the Vespa's transformation abilities aren't cutting it... ((Well, either way, this RP was awesome. This should totally become an RP Battle thread))
(Wish granted. And yeah, this was really a lot of fun to do. It looks like tomorrow, we'll be having a showdown between Stone and Book. I even put in a request for the mods to change this thread's title to a more fitting one.)

((ZB, you focus on melee range, so does UM as he mainly uses a sword. Meanwhile my specialty is in ranged combat. So by combining those two styles, you get a more diverse and rounded set up than two short range specialists.))
