So Knockout has joined the good guys and the Kardashians are locked up, now if only the latter happened for real.

:lol  It wouldn't surprise me if they have broken some laws. Knock Out leaving the Cons was a last minute decision. I did it because it just felt more natural with the way the Kardashians and Starscream treated him.

Here is the last part of "Superficial." "Fandemonium" is coming soon. I hope everyone has enjoyed "Superficial!"

    Part 12

Somewhere in a great sea of conifers in Canada, the surviving Decepticons on Earth gather in a clearing. Bomb-Burst stands next to Starscream, who steps forward to the center of the circle.

“I can’t believe we lost to those Dinobots. As much as I would love to just verbally tear you all apart, truthfully we aerial and land-based Decepticons were far fewer in number than our Seacon allies, so I blame this temporary setback on Snaptrap and his army of flopping Nemos. As your leader I order all of you to stay off the radar for the time being. I don’t want you guys to attract the attention of the humans and certainly not the Autobots and Dinobots. Bomb-Burst and I have some business off world to attend to,” Starscream says.

    “We do?” Bomb-Burst asks.

“Yes, and I think it is right down your ally, too,” Starscream says.

“Lord Starscream, you don’t have to worry about us. We’ll do as you say,” one of the Decepticons says.

“Excellent. Bomb-Burst, come with me,” Starscream says while walking away from the other Decepticons.
Bomb-Burst follows Starscream, and they walk side-by-side through the woods.

“What is this business you bring up, Lord Starscream?” Bomb-Burst wants to know.

“I’m not going to lie. It took quite some time to gather most of the troops that were just destroyed in the last several days. Most Decepticons are either dead or loyal to Megatron and consequently at peace with the Autobots. I can count the number of known Decepticons not present here that are loyal to me on my hands. If I am to take over Earth and eventually Cybertron I need more soldiers, but I don’t know where to find them. However, there is someone who may be able to help us. I assume you remember Mindwipe,” Starscream says.

“Of course I know Mindwipe, but he hasn’t been seen for centuries if not millennia,” Bomb-Burst says.

“That’s because Mindwipe is in a place even most Decepticons dread. For a long time Mindwipe has tried communicating with the dead on the necropolis planet of Der Zor. He has cut off all communications with the outside universe in order to focus on his true passion in life. If anyone knows how to find a new army it’s him. As much as I hate to admit it, we must travel to Der Zor and find Mindwipe, for he may the last chance for Decepticon domination,” Starscream says with a chilling voice.

“I’ve always wanted to travel to Der Zor. I’m sick of these planets like Earth that are illuminated by nearby stars, but Der Zor sounds like a place more to my liking. When are we going?” Bomb-Burst says.

“As soon as you’re ready,” Starscream says.

“I’m ready as soon as you are Starscream. However, I almost forgot. There’s a Decepticon beacon deep in the Pacific. It’s Nautilator. Do you want to rescue him before we leave?” Bomb-Burst asks.

“That idiot probably found something on the ocean floor again and wants us to haul it to the surface. Let him be. We’ll probably see him when we get back to Earth anyways. Our next stop is Der Zor,” Starscream says as he transforms and takes off.

Bomb-Burst follows his leader, and the two fly out of Earth’s atmosphere and begin their journey to one of the most feared planets in the universe.

Thousands of miles away in the depths of the Pacific a light shines in the cold, sunless deep. The light does not belong to a human submersible. Rather, it glows from the lure of what looks like a giant anglerfish. This anglerfish has smaller lights glowing on its body in various places, and its body is not made of muscle and bone and skin, but of metal. The oceanic explorer Ghostlight has wandered Earth’s oceans for many centuries.

Neither Autobot nor Decepticon, Ghostlight is a female Transformer who has never participated in the wars of other Cybertronians. She would much rather explore the geologic and biological features of alien oceans as well as those on Cybertron.

Ghostlight detects a signal coming from the abyssal plain below. It is a beacon sent on a Decepticon frequency. Ghostlight is no fan of the Decepticon movement, but she has a heart of gold, and she’ll help out most anyone in need of assistance. During her time on Earth she has saved human sailors from ship wrecks and helped injured whales and dolphins stay afloat. She will gladly help out any Autobot or Decepticon if they need rescuing or assistance regarding nonviolent situations.

As Ghostlight nears the location of the beacon she transforms into her robot mode. Her robot mode is all black save for the green and red lights on the sides of her face that act like sniper scopes in the endless darkness. Her face is more like an eerie skull than a typical Cybertronian face. Ghostlight turns on her searchlight and swims toward what appears to be a strange, glowing, purple object lying on a marine snow drift. Besides the object is a Seacon that resembles a blue lobster with gray, segmented legs and claws.

“Who are you? What have you discovered here?” Ghostlight asks the Seacon.

“I am Nautilator, and I am a part of Starscream’s Decepticon army. I got lost when my fellow Decepticons were preparing to attack the Autobots and conquer Earth, and I found this strange object here just as you see it now. I don’t know what it is, but it seems important, so I’d love to get it to the surface,” Nautilator says.

Ghostlight shines her searchlight on the object, which is rounded and somewhat oval. The surface of the object appears to be made of tightly wrapped fibers, and it has a core that gives Ghostlight a really strong energy reading.

“I can’t say that I condone what you and your companions are doing on this planet, but I am Ghostlight, and I’m here to help you if you are in need. In all of the worlds I have traveled I have never seen this before. It appears to be a strange meteorite, but of a type that came from no solar system I know. Whatever it is I don’t like it, and I think it is better off hidden in the deep than brought to the surface,” Ghostlight says.

“So you think it’s better off left here? If you think so, I suppose we can leave it here and just take me to the nearest coast,” Nautilator says.

“I can certainly do that. Grab a hold of my tail fin,” Ghostlight says as she transforms into an anglerfish.

Nautilator grabs Ghostlight’s tail fin as Ghostlight swims through the dark abyss. He looks back at the meteorite one last time, but soon all is darkness save for Ghostlight’s lure and the bioluminescence of otherwise unseen Earth life.

Hmm interesting ending. So Mindwipe is going to play a big part in the final entry I suppose.

Yep. He plays a very unique roll.
