No, sorry, but I really do need to pick up from scratch with this. My summary for each episode was lost, so it'll be awhile if I do decide to pick this up.

Hey @peteynorth], it definitely has been a ride with this masterpiece that you have created on this forum. You are a great talent to the fandom and your details are amazing! I'd only wish you would get the big companies to see what you have done here and bring this novel to life in some way! By far the best!
Hope that you can keep adding on to this story when you can....because its always exciting when its posted!

    Roll out!

I was 21 years old watching Transformers Armada on Cartoon Network when @peteynorth started this story.

Now, I'm 40 years old, married, with three kids. Let me help you feel old! Since this story started, the following things have happened:

    - 4 different US Presidents
    - There was "OTFCC" running conventions, which would transfer back to BotCon, which disbanded, and now there's no official convention
    - 6 box office movies have released
    - "Friends" had yet to finish airing but has already had it's 15+ Year Reunion Special
    - G.I. Joe A Real American Hero was about to celebrate it's 25th Anniversary. It is currently celebrating it's 40th Anniversary.
    - Tom Brady, arguably the greatest QB of all time, was in his 4th season. This upcoming season will be his 23rd
    - There are people who have read this story who were not alive when it had started

    You're welcome.

At one point, I had collated this massive epic into one massive word file and fixed typos and grammatical errors. I think it was somewhere around 1200 pages single spaced. I had intended to actually print it into a cheap bound book. I even photoshopped a cover image. I think it took me a few weeks to do all that, and the hard drive went caput. I can't express how upsetting that was.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've gotten to read a post from you, @Kickback! I love running into the old guard. I remember you and I used to debate the issues of the times in General Topic back in 2003. And I remember how well you and Jux got along back in the day. I wonder whatever happened to him? He was a good dude. His AMVs were fun to watch. He's the entire reason I learned how to edit things.

Yeah, alot has happened in 20 years. I'm glad we still have TFW2005 to gather together and talk about all things Transformers and other similar interests.

I've been doing a re-read of this since the start of this month and have finally worked my way to Episode 50 with the return of Optimus Prime. It's been a long time since I've last re-read the story but in light of a lack of any real good TF fiction out there I've decided to revisit the best. Firstly, its insane going over some of the super memorable moments you've incorporated into your fiction. For example when I re-read the movie section and while I knew Megs relented, you planted the Swarm then and there with the black amorphous component escaping into the depths of space. Whether it escaped my memory of reading or I failed to notice in the past, its little details like that which really drive home the amount of groundwork you put into your storytelling. Some of my fav moments in this re-read so far:

    1. Jetfire's birth on Earth, learning Screamer's unimpressive top speed and the start of their unofficial rivalry. Jetfire always seemed like the coolest bot that my cousins had when I was growing up and was really sad to see that he wasn't a major player in the show so I always loved the consistent role you gave him in your fic. One of my fav interactions with Jetfire you wrote was when they set up the temporary power structure when Prime was struck in the head by Meg's fusion bolt. "Why you guys voted me in, I'll never know" - Jetfire to which Grimlock replies "Me Grimlock not vote for you. Me Grimlock vote for me, Grimlock!"
    2. The early human distrust of the Transformers and the military interventions behind Prime's back. I love re-reading Grimlock meeting General Peterson under the cover of darkness and rain to retrieve the nuke that would decimate the Cooler. Honestly that entire first season arc is always a joy to read and follow how the Autobots come back from a truly downtrodden underdog situation and start to unfurl the iron grip (albeit starved grip) that Shockwave and the Decepticons had on Cybertron. That and Counter-Punch's whole arc - I love every moment and I'm always on the edge till the very point where Shockwave almost has him but the untimely arrival of Galvatron saves his skidplate. That loveable double agent!
    3. Grimlock's mis-adventures with the Dinobots. His public challenge with Blaster and then honor-bout with Prime in the depths of Mt. St. Hillary. Grimlock felt like he had such a great arc, and even through the growth continued to be true to himself - be that rogue Wolverine element but with a loyal squad. To quote your Kup in the movie section. "He gave Prime slag, he gave Ultra Magnus slag. And you wouldn't be his commander if he didn't give you slag." What a riot. I always love returning to the section where Grimlock learns to put the needs of his unit before his desire for vengeance and spares Apolonicus to undo their energon tampering.
    4. Hot Rod's god-damn immaturity yet charisma. His comradery with Springer, early days of his romance with Arcee and how he ended up fumbling it yet learning to accept that they moved on. Hot Rod got a lot of undeserved hate in the movie and I think you did a wonderful job making his character not only relatable and likeable but also understanding the tall order that it was to live up to Prime.
    5. Grimlock's fight with Blight where he educates him on what a warrior's strongest asset is. It dawned upon me that a lot of the qualities he denied being the greatest to Blight were tech spec ones. Not too sure if that was intentional but man the feels when he finally tells him it is Focus and then kills him? Aces. That and it leads into the funniest episode opener ever with Grimlock's new... not brain... lol
    6. Alpha Trion and Omega's adventure on Quintessa. Ride or die boys till the end, love that ol' A-Three still has some action in him even though the coolest scenes were with Omega Supreme.
    7. Optimus Prime's reawakening which I just read. Every time when I get to that quote from Thomas Paine, the very one he was tasked to help Spike study for at the behest of Sparkplug before his "death". Damn powerful stuff.
Anyways I hope you're well Petey. I started reading your fic when I was 13, just a wee-lad in the great white north starting in high school. I'm 33 now, albeit a bit separated from the active buying and collecting but time and time again I'll check in here. Cheers buddy and happy holidays!
