God, that episode was awfully rushed. Hope this'll be different.

    EPISODE 8. CARGO

Vehicons were busy at work, building guard towers around a perimeter. In the middle was the Harbinger, transformed upright into a tower. On the ground, Vehicons patrolled and built, under the command of Breakdown. "Hurry up!" He yelled to the labor force bringing metals and other pieces of equipment to guard station A. "You got yer legs severed? Hurry up!" He yelled again. The three Vehicons were carrying a massive piece of wall to the station, weighing nearly 5 tons. Breakdown felt a tap on his shoulder and turned. Slipstream's frame appeared in his eyesight. "What is it?" He asked. Slipstream cleared her throat. "Straxus wants you to gather the... you know what." Breakdown groaned. "Again? Those people freak me out." Slipstream rested a hand on his shoulder. "I know. But they abandoned another base, according to Triggerhappy." Breakdown frowned. "How log will his charade continue?" "Until they're under our control. You know how heavily invested Straxus is on this project." Breakdown sighed. "Fine, fine. But when we get back, you'd better tell Straxus I ain't doing these scavenger hunts anymore." Slipstream smiled. "If I remember." Breakdown walked off. "And you probably won't." He turned and grinned. "Unless I make you." He waved over four Vehicons and briefed them. Within minutes, they transformed and took off, driving down the path they created. Slipstream watched and turned to walk back to base. A Vehicon working stopped her. "Why do you talk to thy idiot?" He asked. Slipstream paused. "I could have you killed for disrespecting higher-ranked personal, but I won't. Breakdown is my friend. He may be an idiot, but we've been friend before the war." The Vehicon shook his head and hauled a concrete brick onto his shoulder. "You have some odd tastes" he said softly.

Back at the ship, Rodimus walked up the ship's main hallway, and went into the medicle ward. Autotroopers stood throughout, on guard. On the very end was Override. Skydive was with her, welding armor back over her joints and Energon tubes. "How are you feeling?" Rodimus asked as his approached. She looked at him in guilty eyes. "Awful." She replied. "You were banged up pretty bad." Rodimus said. "What happened?" Override looked awy for a second, contemplating what to say. "I... I don't want to talk about it." Rodimus sighed and looked at her. "Well, I'm taking a party out to search this base. It's best you remain here to rest and heal." Override sighed. "Very well. If you encounter them, watch out. Don't listen to... him." Her voice cracked on 'him'. Rodimus stepped closer. "What happened? That's an order, Override." She shut her optics. "He's an awful human." She said softly. "He saw right through me. I... I couldn't do anything as he ripped me down." Her voice was shakey. She wasn't lying. Rodimus patted her hand. "It's alright. We'll deal with the humans. And if we have to, we'll physically deal with them." She didn't respond. Skydive looked up. "Do you new air support?" Rodimus shook his head. "Jetfire and Breakaway will be enough. You need to attend to Override while we're gone." He shrugged and went back to repairing the injured warrior.

A few hours later, darkness fell over Nevada. The moon shown brightly, illuminating the sands and rock. Rodimus creapt behind them, Swerve and Hoist at the ready. "The base is just over here." He said softly. Swerve poked his head over the rock. "I don't see'm!" He said. "Ever think that the base might be camouflaged?" Hoist asked. Swerve looked at him. "You tell me, builder." Rodimus shushed them. "Shut up! We got movement." They looked over, and suprising to them, two Vehicons patrolled, guarding the entrance to the MECH base. "The Decepticons?!" Hoist asked, panicked. "Why are they here?!" Rodimus raised his gun. "Let's find out." Swerve tapped on Rodimus's shoulder. "Uh, boss?" Rodimus turned, and Swerve pointed. He looked to see two move Vehicons emerging, and Breakdown right behind them. The two new ones were carrying massive computer hubs, and Breakdown an unknown piece of machinery. Rodimus looked at his two comrades. "Ask before we shoot, ok- Swerve?" He looked over the rock to see Swerve running towards them, gun blaring. Rodimus hook his head. "For the love of- okay, lets go, Hoist." Hoist raised a small pistol gifted to him and nodded. Rodimus jumped over the rock and went to join the battle.

Breakdown staggered as the piece of machinery was shot out of his hand. "So dey are alive!" He said. "Get'im!" The two guard Vehicons charged, guns blaring. Swerve dodged and laughed triumphantly as he Shelled out random potshots. The Vehicons stood their ground, but became weary of the shots. Breakdown shoved both of them out of his way, and took aim with his shoulder cannon. Targeting, he fired and the rocket landed near Swerve. He yelled out with pain as the bottom portion of his leg blew off. "For the glory of battle I fall!" He said, hamming it up. Energon bled out of the removed limb, at an alarming rate. Breakdown saw Rodimus and Hoist coming, and took aim again. But before he could fire, machine gun rounds hit his back. He shook them off as turned to see Jetfire and Breakaway. Growling, he fired at them, but the rocket went between them. He looked back at the two Autobots, and back at the Arielbots and sighed. "Aw, forget dis." He said. He transformed and drove down the road, forgetting the piece of machinery. The two Vehicons attempted to go too, but the combined gunfire of four Autobots tore through them, killing them. Hoist attended to Swerve, who grinned. "All for the... glory of... Autobots" he said dizzily. Hoist sighed and looked at Rodimus. "Radio a bridge. He's going to need immediate treatment." Rodimus did, and as the bridge opened, the two Arielbots transformed and landed. "What dd he leave behind?" Jetfire asked. Rodimus knelt and picked the mysterious cylindrical object up. On it was a gear with an M in the middle, most likely MECH's logo. "It's some sort of information storage. If we download it, maybe we can open some secrets and solve the mystery of this group. And now that the Decepticons are here as well, we have more to look out for."

    What's so interesting?

    EPISODE 9. DIFFERENT

Ever since the Cons landed on Earth, Thunderwing remained quiet. Straxus was much more focused on hunting the Autobots than he was about paying attention. Thunderwing roamed the newly formed tower, made of the ship. Vehicons stood guard at important rooms, and the rest conversed. "I heard Breakdown got back." One said. "Oh yeah?" The other asked. "Yeah. Got back a while ago. He had Dragstrip and Flamefeather carrying some giant computer hard drives." The first said. Thunderwing turned towards them. "Where is Breakdown?" He asked. The first Vehicon pointed. "Main chamber. I heard Straxus grilling him out for losing a valuable piece of intel or something." Thunderwing nodded. "Thank you." He turned and walked down the hallway.

In the chamber, Straxus remained in his command chair. Breakdown stood off to the side, typing on something, most likely his punishment for failing. Thunderwing entered, and stood. "Appears the Autobots did survive." Straxus said without turning. "Interesting, isn't it?" Thunderwing cleared his throat. "Anything I could do?" Straxus turned. "We are tracking MECH's signal now. I shall dispatch you and some Jet Vehicons to intercept. Find out what they're up to. Afterall, I doubt you'll screw up as much as Breakdown here." Thunderwing heard the brute muttering under his breath, and ignored it. "I shall not fail." Thunderwing said, bowing. Straxus grinned. "Perfect."

Back at the crash site, Rodimus plugged the USB into the ship's hard drive. Hoist typed on the keyboard. "It's a timeline." He reported. "Dates back to 1939" Rodimus crossed his arms across his chest. "What does it say?" Hoist typed. "It sas that back in 1939, a man named 'Mr. H' approached another called Henry Nicholson. He convinced him that we are evil, and they formed MECH." Rodimus stepped closer. "They knew of us before we got here?" Hoist looked at him. "We did say that we've been here before." Rodimus sighed. "This Henry man must've died and left control to this Silas person." "What are you guys talking about?" A voice said. Override walked in, suspicious look on her face. "Hide it." Rodimus whispered. Hoist went to unplug the USB, but tripped on some wires and fell with a grunt. Override looked at the screen. "MECH?" She asked. Rodimus looked at her. "Don't get too excited. We're just looking this over." Override read further. "March 5- Acquired blood sample from subject? What do they want with my Energon?" Rodimus shrugged. "We haven't figured that out yet." Override pointed at the montier. "They're going to be at some place called 'Mount Saint Hellen's, only a short distance from here. If I get them, maybe I'll feel better." Rodimus shook his head. "Not a good idea. We aren't trying to kill these people, Override." She glared and stood up to him. "You don't know what they did to me, Rodimus. I'm going with or without your recommendations." "Can I go?" Another voice said. Everyone turned to see Lindsey walking in. "Where are you guys going?" Override looked at her. "I'M going to a mountain. You can come of you like." Rodimus stepped in. "You want to endanger her now? Your blind sense of revenge isn't going to help." Override turned and walked away. "Hoist, fire up the bridge." She said. "If you must, come on, Lindsey." Hoist shrugged and opened the damaged Spacebridge. Override transformed and Lindsey got in the driver's seat. Rodimus frowned as she went through. "She's only going to hurt herself of Lindsey." Hoist nodded. "She's arrogant, isn't she?"

In the skies above, Thunderwing lead a squad of Jets. "Break off!" Thunderwing commanded. The jets flew past as he landed on a strip of clearing. He transformed and watched the jets fly past. Sighing, he looked around. Tall trees stood, casting shadows on the land. It was rather beautful, to Thunderwing. He didn't want to participate in the Jet's scavenger hunt, but he did need to whitness what was going to happen. Sighing, he detached his recon drone. The drone supplied him with his vision, but it was important so Straxus wouldn't kill him for not being a team leader. The drone hovered and took off, leaving the blinded Decepticon alone.

The bridge opened and Override drove out. But as soon as she did, she stopped. "Aren't we going to go?" Lindsey asked. "I am." Override responded. She transformed, kicking the suprised teenager out. "What gives?" She asked. "Rodimus is right." Override said. "It is too dangerous for you. I'll go alone." She took something off of her wrist and tossed it to Lindsey. "Contact base if anything goes wrong." She drove off, leaving the girl behind. Lindsey frown and kicked some rocks. Grumbling, she stomped off. After grumbling for a few minutes, she partes some bushes and gasped. A jet sat, completely alone. Cautiously, she approached it. Remaining scilent, she knocked on the landing gear. After a loud mechanical shriek, the jet transformed. Lindsey screamed and flew back as the parts moved. Thunderwing stumbled as he finished. "Who's there?!" He demanded angrily. Lindsey stepped forward. "Um... Hi?" Thunderwing in turned in her direction. "Human? Autobot?" "Human" Lindsey replied. She studied his motions carefully. "You're blind, aren't you?" Thunderwing growled. "For now. But I now need my vision to crush you like a bug!" He stomped around , and tripped over a tree. He hit the ground like with a grunt. Lindsey ran over. "Are you okay?" She asked compassionately. "Are you STUPID?" Thunderwing shot back, sitting down. "I am a proud Decepticon warrior!" Lindsey raised a brow. "Why aren't you eloping your friends, then?" Thunderwing froze. He didn't have a good reason. "You're different, aren't you?" She asked. Thunderwing sighed. "What do you want, fleshling?" She shook her head. "Nothing." She replied. "Why aren't you with your friends?" Thunderwing frowned. "Call it refusal, I suppose. I do not agree with Straxus's madness. Megatron was a fine leader, but I do not agree with his choices. If I could, I'd fight against him." "Why don't you?" Lindsey asked. "It's a lot of things." Thunderwing said. "Fear, honor, pride. All of that." Lindsey looked into his empty eyes. "You could join us." Thunderwing laughed. "I am a DECEPTICON! I'll kill Straxus myself!" Lindsey frowned. "I don't think you will." Thunderwing growled and swung wildly. "You are beginning to annoy me." Lindsey shrugged. "I'm just saying. You aren't a normal Decepticon, from what I've heard." Thunderwing sighed. "Maybe I'm not."

The Jet Vehicons transformed once they reach the cordinates. "Scans show no activity." One said. "Keep looking." Another said. Before them was a small steel bunker. "Open it up." The first said. A Jet ejected a saw from his hand and cut the roof off the building. As it opened, a loud beeping filled the air. "What is that?" The first asked. Before any response came, the base exploded, sending most of the Vehicons to their doom. Two survived, flaming and running about. Both Override and Thunderwing heard. Override ran faster until she got to the wreckage. The Vehicons were of no worry to her. She approached the wreckage and looked in it. Nothing was there except some chairs, the oil containers that exploded, and... another hard drive. She heard Something and turned. MECH helicopters were flying away, obviously viewing the action. Then she heard another noise. She turned to see a jet. It transformed and Thunderwing stood, glaring. His drone dropped down and connected into his back, returning his vision. "And I thought Autobots weren't quiet." He said. "Wasn't me." Override said. She drew her sword and charged at the Decepticon, who promptly grabbed one of his cannons and hit Override in the stoumach. She grunted and flew back, hitting a tree and collapsed onto the ground. Thunderwing grabbed the hard drive and looked it over. Override attempted to attack again, but Thunderwing delivered a sharp kick, knocking her back. "Stop!" A voice said. He turned to see Lindsey. "Stop! You don't have to do this!" Thunderwing sighed. "I apologize child, but it's just blind loyalty." He transformed as flew off, leaving the two behind. Override scrambled up and went over to Lindsey. "What ere you talking about?" She asked. Lindsey sighed. "He was different. I could tell." She said softly.

High above, Thunderwing shot back to base, and started to question his decision. "Different." He said softly.

    EPISODE 10. HUNT

Another storm raged over the Washington land. The remains of the ship held themselves up, despite the leaks. Rodimus stood behind Hoist as he decoded. "It's a heavily encrypted code, but I think I can get through." Hoist reported. Rodimus crosses his arms across his chest. "Good. I hope Override gets something from that stupid mission." Hoist looked closer at the montier. "I have no idea how they got a code this protected. I know they've known about us, but this is to much. They got help." Rodimus frowned. "These Decepticons haven't been experienced to Humans yet, so it had to be someone before." Before anyone could respond, Override came in. Rodimus looked at her. "Nothing huh? Nothing but more injury." Override scoffed. "Can it. I almost got it." Rodimus walked up to her. "What you did was stupid. You could've died, and you could've killed Lindsey. What were you thinking!?" Override stared him down. "Both of us are alive. She went back to her house. What more did you want?" Rodimus felt anger raging inside of him. "I really should keep you here until we regroup. Your action is reckless." Override glared. "You sound like Sentinel. Which is good. You could use some growing up." She tuned and stomped away. Hoist burst out laughing. "She got you!" Rodimus turned around and glared. Hoist quieted down, but he could tell he wasn't done. "She did have a point, though. You are pretty... immature." Rodimus glared. "Maybe I should be like Star Saber and have you exiled." Hoist shrugged. "Don't take it too hard. I'm just saying." Rodimus sighed. "Maybe you're right. Get back to work, Hoist." He walked out if the room, leaving Hoist to his work.

Straxus stared out of the window of the newly formed tower. Thunderwing walked in, not being quiet. "I have recovered something from the MECH base. It was rigged to explode, but I recovered something interesting." Straxus turned as Thunderwing tossed him the piece of metal. "I do not know what it is." Straxus took it and looked it over. After a second, he looked back at Thunderwing. "Are you eager for my inevitable demise?" Thunderwing got caught off-guard. "What?" Straxus looked out the window. "I have this feeling, but I'm not too sure." Thunderwing forced himself to kneel. "Of course not. I'm completely... loyal. To you." Straxus turned back. "Good. Just making sure." He looked at the piece of metal. "This is Cybertronian." Thunderwing rose. "Really?" Straxus approached him. "It's a common memory bank. It's been removed from a Cybertronian" Thunderwing raised a brow. "Would they do such a grotesque act?" Straxus looked back out at his window. "Most likely. They are an industrious group, but this is a strange thing." He turned and tossed it too a Vehicon, who was working on the command center. He looke it over, grabbed a cable, and plugged it in to the memory banks. The viewscreen suddenly turned on. Straxus and Thunderwing looked at the image. The video horrified Thunderwing. The person it belonged to was a Vehicon. The trooper was screaming and flailing his head as circular saws buzzed nearby. One drove itself into his chest, cracking the windshield on his chest. Energon splattered everywhere as the saw removed. It then flew towards it's face, and the memory bank ended. Thunderwing reacted with disgust. "That is gruesome! They are a menace to us all!" Straxus laughed. "No worries, Thunderwing. Those are mere soldiers. We are capable enough to withstand adult from these humans." Thunderwing looked at the Decepticon leader as he walked to the bay window. "Are you insane?! They are a danger! They anticipated our arrival at their base, and set it to explode! How could you not see?!" Straxus didn't respond. Thunderwing thought. Did he want to disrespect Straxus and die, or grovel to keep alive. Sighing, Thunderwing bowed. "Forgive me. I... had an outburst." Straxus didn't turn. "We are not nearing the end of the war, Thunderwing. These Autobots need to be scilenced. And we need out troopers. Even you. So please to not disrespect my authority." He quickly spun and drove his pickaxe into the floor inches from Thunderwing's head. "Or else I will remove your head!" Thunderwing nodded. "Of course, m.... master." Straxus withdrew. "Good. Now then return to your post until I am in need of you again." Thunderwing stood. "Thank you, master." He turned and walked away. Once out of the room, he growled under his breath. "Once I get the advantage, I'll make sure I'll remove YOUR head." He stormed past Slipatream, who was walking up the hallway. She walked into the control room. "We are ready to commense the first part of our plan." She reported. "All troops are mobalized." Straxus approached her. "Good. Project: Annihilation will commense. You know what you need to do." Slipstream nodded. "Energon ploy set." Straxus pointed. "Go."

The rain pounded the ground as Vehicons marched in front of the newly-formed tower. Car Vehicons marched in rows of six, walking forward. A Vehicon with red markings stopped. "Transform!" He ordered. They transformed, and drove down the newly-made roads. On the roof of the tower, Slipstream stood with her soldiers, the purple and teal Jet Vehicons known as the Elites. She stood on the edge and pointed forward. "Go! Get to the destination!" The transformed and flew off. Smiling at the forces in front of her, she leapt off the building and transformed, flying behind her troops.

Sometimes I get no comments, Sideways :p

Anyway, Rodimus and Override are coming to blows about how to handle Decepticons and humans, and Hoist is such a third wheel, laughing at Rodimus after Override's quip :lol

Meanwhile, Straxus and Thunderwing contemplate the gruesome deaths of unlucky Vehicons and the threat posed by MECH. And what's this, Project: Annihilation?! Title drop :D

And now the Decepticons are mobilising. Time to kill some Autobots!

Nice one, Sideways. Keep up the fun :D

    The word annihilation never is.

EPISODE 11. PAST LIVES, PART 1

It was a relatively clear Saturday morning. The ship was still in shambles, but the sun gave everyone on board a sense of happiness. Autotroopers outside stood their guard, but also seemed more cheerful. They joked, talked, and did competitions with one another. On board the ship, Hoist sat back, taking a break from the decoding. The main door opened, and Glyph came in, Swerve behind her. The bed of Swerve's truck was filled with all sorts of stuff. "Any place I can store this?" Glyph asked. "We just spent the past few days collecting samples for my studies." Hoist eyes the pile of mud, sticks, metal, and other types of junk. "Uh... I guess it could go in the cargo bay." Glyph nodded and lead the way. But before she exited, the ship's main monitor beeped. Hoist got up and checked it. "By the AllSpark..." He muttered. Rodimus came in. "What is it?" He asked. Hoist turned around with a grin on his face. "We got massive Energon spikes. Things are looking up!" Rodimus looked at the monitor. "Those are some big spikes." He said. He looked at Glyph and Swerve. Swerve transformed, dumping the junk he was carrying onto the ground. "Um... oops." He said. Rodimus looked over te monitor. "Looks like three locations. Maybe if we split into teams, we can get it faster." Hoist looked at him. "Are you sure? What if it's a Decepticon trap?" Rodimus looked at him. "It's not. There's no way they could accommodate this much Energon just to trap us." He looked at Glyph and Swerve. "You two will be a team." He looked at Hoist. "You should stay here, just in case." Hoist looked around. The Arielbots entered. "What's all the commotion?" Jetfire asked. Rodimus pointed. "Massive energy spikes. You three will be a team." Hoist looked at Rodimus. "Where's Override?" The door opened and the Autobot entered, Lindsey at her side. "Right here." She replied. Rodimus looked at her. "And I guess we're a team." Override looked at him "for what?" Rodimus looked at all the Autobots in the room. "We've got massive Energon spikes. There locations, and well divide into three teams. It's unlikely this is a trap, but if it is, radio Hoist and he'll bridge you back. We're trying to get help here." Everyone looked at eachother. "What about me?" Lindsey asked. Rodimus looked at their human friend. "You'll stay here with Hoist. Assist him in whatever." Hoist looked at her. "What good will she do me?!" He asked. Rodimus walked past him. "Open the bridge." Hoist sighed and obeyed. He opened the portal, where Rodmus and Override went through. He typed some more, and The Arielbots went through. Swerve looked at Glyph. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Glyph nodded. "Of course. Rodimus hasn't been wrong yet."

The Arielbots flew along a canyon. "You think this is too good to be true, boss?" Breakaway asked. Jetfire sighed and flew under a rock bridge. "It does seem odd, but I think it's real." "What if the Decepticons ARE behind it?" Skydive asked. "You remember the last time we tried to so a successful raid." Jetfire got quiet. "I know." He said softly.

    TYGER PAX, Cybertron

Before the end of the war, the Arielbots were a special military attack squadron. Jetfire lead, with Airrazor at second. They were relatively successful, but the day they lost was the day no survivor could forget. The entire squad flew through the canyons of Tyger Pax. Jetfire in the lead, the squad flew in three prefect lines. "Get ready, Arielbots. We've got a tough one." He said. "What's the big deal?" Airrazor asked. "We've got this." Jetfire didn't want to lose his cool. Airrazor was an overly-energized type, with a loving side of nature. But she was far too reckless, and wondered why Sentinel made her second in command. "We don't know what's ahead." He simply said. "Could be a trap, could be something worse." They came to their target. A monastery that belong to Decepticon warlord Magnificus. The structure was massive, and contained the Autobot victory. A power conduit. It fueled a powerful weapon, and the Cons swiped it from a convoy. "Get ready!" Jetfire yelled. As if expected, Jet Vehicons poured from behind the structure. They were a lot meaner than the original, with fierce red markings. The Arielbots opened fire, taking down a few. The Vehicons returned fire, gunning down many of the soldiers. "We've lost Sky Garry and Wingsaber!" Breakaway reported. "Keep on target!" Jetfire ordered. The two sides were interspersed, dogfighting to stay alive. Jetfire shot down two, but a new player entered. A teal and purple jet. Jetfire went after it, but it evaded his shots. "Come on, die already!" He said to himself. The jet turned around and shot missiles at the leader. Jetfire swerved, and the jet shot right towards him. Without time to react, it slammed into him, and transformed. He was shocked to discover it was a female. She grinned as she sent him hurtling towards a cliff side. "Sorry, big boy!" She taunted. Jetfire grunted and shot towards her, chaingun roaring. She transformed and dodged, flying to his left. In the process, she managed to take three more Areilbots. It was the worst battle of Jetfire's time. The Vehicons gunned down trooper after trooper, and mercilessly shot at medical ships. Jetfire went after the female, guns roaring. She managed to avoid them, and shot behind him. She opened fire, destroying much of his rear carriage. He had no choice but to nosedive into the cliff, were he transformed and laid there. Slipstream seemed pleased and went back to the battle. Even though his view was upside down, he could see everything. The Autobots he one lead were now just explosions. He couldn't believe it. How could they have got the victory? How did they muster up the training to win? Using all his strength, he hit his comlink. "A-A-Arielb-bots r-retreat." He stuttered. Any available troops obeyed and flew back the way they came. The female looked to all the Vehicons. "You all did good. I shall put you under MY command!" She announced. "You are now the Elites! The BEST Vehicons! I shall put you to good use." That's all e heard before he went unconscious.

Skydive dodged a rock pillar. "Luckily Airrazor went back for you, huh?" Jetfire transformed and stood on a cliff side. The others transformed behind him. "The sacrifices of the Arielbots will not be forgotten. Airrazor did good leading whole I recovered, and we shall not disrespect what we fight for." Breakaway pointed. "Well, there's the next step." Jetfire turned to see the massive boulder of Energon. He hobbled on his cain down the slope ad stood at it's base. "We did it." He said. "Did you really?" A voice said. The three Arielbots turned to see Jet Vehicons coming down out of the sky. Leading them was an all-too familiar foe. "Skyquake..." Jetfire said softly.

    I guess everybody hates Arielbots.

EPISOD 12 PAST LIVES, PART TWO

In the frozen hills on the Rocky Mountains, the next beacon laid. Trekking through the snow was Swerve and Glyph. Glyph knelt down and got a handful of snow. "Look at this, Swerve!" She said, enthused. "It's frozen water! I've never seen a specimen like this before!" Swerve came up behind her. "I think that's snow. It's already been discovered." Glyph groaned and stomped her feet. "Why did you have to ruin my moment? I wanted to feel like I accomplished something!" Swerve backed up. "Sorry. I'm just telling you." Glyph sighed. "Sorry for snapping at you. I was just in the moment" Swerve nodded. "I know. Don't feel that bad." Glyph smiled and punched Swerve in the arm. "Don't push it." Swerve looked at the device in his hand. "It says that we're close. Just a few feet away." Glyph pointed. "Then lets go!"

A few feet to the north, trouble brewed. Vehicons were setting up at their sniper posts, aiming their rifles at the hunk of frozen Energon in the middle of a crater. Triggerhappy stood on a ridge, sniper rifle in hand. Behind him was Over-Run, who also had his sniper rifle. "Y'all sure they'll come this way?" Over-Run asked. Triggerhappy checked his rifle sight. "Straxus said they'd come this way. I believe him." Over-run stood on the ridge with his partner. "Your trustin' that Straxus guy way you much. Y'all not remember he took our ship to pursuit these Autobots?" Triggerhappy looked at Over-Run. "It's a necessary act. If we want to end the war, we have to finish these traitors off. And that's his plan. You should learn to respect it. "Well, y'all need to be wary. Straxer shouldn't be trusted jus' yet." Triggerhappy positioned his sniper rifle. "Just get ready." He ordered. Over-run shrugged and began loading his rifle.

Back at base, Hoist sat at the main monitor with Lindsey at his side. She sat on the edge of the end of the control board, kicking her feet. Awkward Silence filled the room, even from the Autotroopers guarding the doorway. Lindsey brushed her blonde hair aside. "So...." She started. Hoist looked at her. "Is it natural for them to not contact us by now?" She continued. Hoist looked back at the monitor, seeing no signals. "Eh, you know Rodimus. He thinks he's got it handled." He looked at her. "Which means he won't call until something really bad happened." Lindsey nodded and looked at the monitor. The seven profiles still remained online, with their systems still functional. But she noticed something weird. "Hey, isn't the bars suppose to be pulsing?" She asked, referring to the life signal. Hoist looked closer. "What? Of course not. It's..." He tried typing, but nothing came up. "Oh no." He said, beginning to hit the computer's mainframe. "It isn't suppose to freeze like this." Lindsey stood up and walked up next to the screen. "Are the Cons able to jam our computer?" Hoist began flicking switches, with no result. "I have no idea." He said, preoccupied. Lindsey began worrying about Override. "Can't you contact them?" She asked. Hoist stood up, surprised. "Why didn't I think of that?" He said, truly forgetting. He typed on his wrist contacter, and tapped the side of his helmet. "Rodimus? Can you hear me? Override?" He released the button and looked at his Human companion. "Jammed." He looked at the computer and kicked the box. "Those dirty oilleakers jammed our communications!" Lindsey crossed her arms, panicked. "Can you bridge to them? Send some soldiers in to help them?!" Hoist walked over to the bridge controls. "Bridge isn't responding." He groaned and sat back down. "Systems are down, bridge is down, and communications are jammed." Lindsey but her thumbnail and looked at the frozen screen. Hoist looks at her, seeing her stress. "Don't worry." He said. "Override can handle herself." Lindsey looked at him, then back at the screen, nervous.

Glyph quietly walked with Swerve, them looked at him. "Hey." She said. Swerve looked backed at her. "What is it?" Glyph smiled and looked at the upcoming mountain. "Do you remember when we first met eachother?" Swerve thought for a minute, then looked at her. "I think. Why?" Glyph looked at the snow. "This reminds me of our training with the Guard." Swerve went poker face. "I really don't like to remember." Glyph shoved him. "Come on. It wasn't that bad." Swerve looked at her. "Yeah, sure it wasn't."

    IACON, 20 years ago

"LINE UP!!!" Ultra Magnus yelled. The new recruits lined up, and Magnus walked in front of them. "You all signed up today to fight for your faction. You chose us over those filthy Cons, and you made the right choice. I am Ultra Magnus. Your field commander." Everyone looked at eachother, worried. "And I am to believe that you don't have names, so I have to give them to you." He started at the front of the line. "What can you do, son?" The red Autobot stood tall. "I'm sure to become the best soldier that's ever come through here!" Magnus laughed. "Prove it." The Autobot transformed and sped towards a bunch of Vehicon cut-outs. He tried to do a swerve into them, but only succeeded in rolling over. He transformed a d landed on his back. Magnus came over to him. "Son, you can't drive worth a dang. Imma call you Swerve." The line up begin laughing, save one. Magnus walked back over to the line up and gave their names. He stopped at the newly-formed excavation crew. He stopped at a blue fembot. "You lead the excavation crew, right?" She nodded. "Yessir! We got sent here to dig, so we're going to do so!" Magnus rubbed his head. "That really made no sense, cave nerd. But since your all for finding things, I'll call you Glyph. That's fitting." Glyph grinned. "Thank you, sir!" Magnus went through the others, and stood back. "You twelve will help out our cause, and you'll do it well." He looked at Swerve, who was returning to the line. "I thought you were faster, Swerve." Swerve looked at him. "Oh, on sooo sorry." Magnus approached. "You insulting me?" Swerve stared at the towering Autobot. "N-No" he said softly. Magnus smirked. "Good."

Later on, he had the new recruits run the obstacle course, even the excavation crew. Magnus barked at them when it came to the climbing wall. One by one, they went over, each one making Magnus proud. "Good, Glyph. Good, Cliffjumper. Good, Armorhide." Suddenly, e ears grunting and straining. Magnus looked up and saw Swerve, trying to get over the wall. "Hurry it up, hot shot!" He yelled. Swerve struggled, then fell over and landed on his back. Magnus sighed. "Swerve, you are so useless it hurts. I don't know why you even signed up if you're just going to screw up. You might as well leave now, and not even look back." Glyph was busy talking to her crew and looked over at Magnus. "You are USELESS!" Magnus continued. Glyph walked over. "Magnus, can you-" Magnus looked at her. "Stay out of this, digger." Glyph knelt besides Swerve. "Why don't you leave him alone? He's just trying to serve us good." Magnus scowled. "I'm giving you three seconds to back off, or you're joining him." Glyph remained. "Glyph, you don't have to-" Swerve began. Glyph looked at him and smiled. Magnus counted down, and she remained. "Well, you're done. Both of you, get out of here." Glyph shrugged and walked away, Swerve following her. "You didn't have to do that." Swerve said. Glyph looked at him. "It's okay. He had no right to treat you like that" Swerve looked at her, concerning look on his face. "You ruinEd your chances." Glyph shrugged. "In sure we can do good on our own." Swerve sighed. "I don't know why you did it." Glyph smiled. "You act like its a terrible thing. Maybe I'm just too nice. But don't worry. I'm sure we can both be best friends."

    PRESENT

Swerve glanced at Glyph. "Still don't know why you did it." Glyph looked back. "I told you. I felt bad for you, so I defended you." Swerve frowned. "You lost your excavating crew." Glyph shrugged. "They became Constructicons anyway." Swerve was about to continue, when Glyph pointed. "The Energon!" She ran towards it, Swerve awkwardly running behind her. "It's massive!" She said, looking at the block. Her gun faded when a lazer light appeared on her forehead. Then another. Then more on Swerve. "I think this is a trap..." He said softly.

Uh-oh, looks like the gangs in trouble.

So Magnus was a Commander-from-Hell to Swerve? Guess he can't deal with being nice. Still, nice trait of Glyph to stand by the poor chap regardless; one must stand up for their peeps.

I liked this episode; things are getting more tense as the Decepticons continue to pull out dirty tricks and brief victories. Nice :)

EPISODE 13 PAST LIVES, part 3

Farther away from the chaos in the United States, Rodimus and Override drive through the Amazon jungle. The road was bumpy, and nearly impossible to navigate. They haven't said a word since they left, and that made Rodimus feel unliked by his comrad. Eventually, a tree covered the bumpy path, forcing Rodimus to transform. "Looks like it's on foot from here." He announced. Override transformed and withdrew her sword. "Then Lets get this over with." She said.

They were quiet as they walked, not wanting to attract Decepticon attention, but also for not wanting to attract eachother's attention. Rodimus piped up.
"So... the jungle is great, isn't it?"
    "Swell"
    "You doing okay?"
    "Peachy"
    "Wonder how the others are."
    "No idea"
Rodimus stoppe for a second and tried to figure out what was wrong. Override was generally ignoring him, but didn't want to be rude. ButRosimus had to know why. "What's wrong with you?" He asked suddenly. Override stopped and tuned around. "What?" Rodimus approached her. "You're avoiding me. What did I do?" Override glared at her commander. "Don't worry about it." She continued to walk, but Rodimus ran beside her. "Tell me!" Scilence. "Override, tell me what's wrong! I command you!" Override stopped and glared him down. "That's exactly it." She said cruelly. Rodimus raised a brow. "Huh?" Override began walking towards him, forcing him back. "That attitude you have. You act like you're the next Sentinel Prime. You try to act like a commander, but you're not. You're some street rat that Sentinel picked up because he had some thought. You are an immature brat, and I would prefer to not take orders from you. Or anybody!" She stopped after Rodimus hit a tree. He was at a loss of words. "I-I-I Override I-"

She stopped and saw how much that hurt him. "I'm sorry, okay? I'm just finding it hard to take you seriously. Concidering you have nearly no military experience. Plus it's hard for me to take orders, let alone yours, but I-" Rodimus stopped her. "What do you mean?" Override raised a brow. "What do you mean?"
    "About you not taking orders."
    "Is it that important?"
    "Yes!"
"Well, it serves no interest to you, so I don't know why I have to."
Rodimus went poker face. "If you don't tell me, you won't feel better. Who knows? Maybe you're holding something in that should be released." Override backed up and pointed. "We should get to that beacon-" Rodimus followed. "You're hiding something." Override glared at him. "I shouldn't have to take this from you. I'm here to do a job, even if you ordered it." Rodimus shrugged. "Keep playing tough girl. I know you're hiding something deep down." Override grabbed her forearm. "Why do you want to know?" Rodimus felt like he was getting somewhere. "Because I think it will help you. You're a bitter and cynical person, Override. There's a reason for that." Override sighed, annoyed. "Fine! If you really want to know, I'll tell you."

    MAGNIFICUS'S PALACE, 10 YEARS AGO

Override grinned and stood on a cliff. "You smell that?" She said. Her companion, Bluestreak, came forward. "What?" Override faced him. "The bitterness of the river. I don't know about you, but I like the smell of it." Bluestreak scoffed. "It smells like garbage, Override. You were always weird when it came to smells. Remember when you-" Override cut him off. "You talk to much, Bluestreak. You always talk too much." He shrugged. "Can't blame me." Override smiled and slugged her friend. The two of them were the best of friends. Vowing to never let eachother go, they formed a tight bond. "Are the troops ready to mobilize?" She asked. Bluestreak nodded. "Springer said that we can advance. No jets are patrolling the area." Override nodded. "Good. Then I can storm this place and win back Tyger Pax." Bluestreak grinned. "You mean WE'LL win back Tyger Pax." Override sighed. "Yeah, yeah. You too." Bluestreak laughed and put arm around his friend. "Then off to victory!" Override rolled her eyes. "Let's just go, Pipes." She said, referencing the actor.

A couple of hours later, Override and crew met up with Springer and his team. "How's it looking, Spring?" She asked him. Springer nodded. "Good. Few Vehcons are patrolling the castle walls. Shockwave, Thunderwing, Magnificus, and Ratbat are in the main foyer." Override smiled slightly. "Good. We may actually win this if we can get the jump on them." Springer pointed. "A Decepticon frigate is parked in the foyer as well. There's really no reason for it to be there. The fields in front of the castle are littered with dead Wreckers. I... recognized my friend Rotorstorm." Override frowned. "Well, lets try not to meet the same fate. We have heavy-hitters like Warpath and Depthcharge with us, so maybe we'll be fine." Springer remained grim. "Grand Maximus was amung the dead." Override sighed. "It never gets better. Okay, let's just continue and see what's ahead. I promised Magnus we'd win this place back. I'm not letting him down."

About ten minutes later, Override and crew reached the field. The carnage was almost hard to look at. Dead Autobots littered the field, and the sight made a few turn back. Override turned to see Smokescreen, Blaster, and Minerva running away, too scared to fight. Override sighed. "Well, let's go without them, then." They continued until the reached the end, the castles main gate. Shockwave stood on an uprising, staring down at the Autobots. "Wreckers!" He announced. "You've come a long way, just to be killed." Override withdrew her sword. "We'll make it, Shockwave. We want Tyger Pax back!" Ratbat joined Shockwave. "Well, you obviously haven't heard the word!" He announced. "And what is that?" She asked him. An EMP burst suddenly went through the crowd of Autobots. Override screamed and held her head, wanting the ringing to stop. The burst also messed with her vison, so she could see straight. All she saw was fuzzy shapes scrambling around, and something big stepping on them. She blindly ran, tripping over the dead. All she could hear was he ringing, and could see nothing. Suddenly, someone grabbed her and pulled her aside. She could see enough to notice Bluestreak, who held her close to protect her from stray gunfire and shrapnel. "WHAT'S HAPPENING!!!" She screamed to her friend. She couldn't hear Bluestreak's response, but could tell chaos was happening. She held onto her friend, hoping to fin safety. But suddenly, her transmitter rang. She managed to push it, and could hear Magnus's voice through it. "What's happening? Did you recapture Tyger Pax?" Override couldn't speak straight. "Something is massacring us! Magnus, we need to retreat! Please!" Butagmus wouldn't agree. "No. You're Wreckers. A suicide squad! You don't retreat!" Override was at a gasp of words. "What?! Bu-But." Magnus wasn't pleased. "That is an ORDER! You stay there and fight!" He cut off communications and left them In the dark. Override froze and the fact dawned on her. She was going to die. It was an undeniable fact, and she couldn't accept it. She just held Bluestreak and wished for it too be over. Life, the chaos, anything.

Rodimus didn't know what to say after her story. Override stopped and turned away, not wanting to look at Rodimus. She held her head low and hugged herself for comfort. Rodimus found his words. "I...I'm Sorry." He said. He tried to put his hand on her shoulder, but she pushed it away. "No. You can't help me, Rodimus. What was done is done. I-I can't change it." Rodimus felt really bad for her. "You probably don't want to talk about it, but just know I care. I know you're in a lot of pain, but remember. I'm here to help." Override sighed. "You can't fix what's already broken."

A couple minutes later, yet came to a crater. In it was a large hunk of Energon. Rodimus smile. "Look at the size of that thing!" He said, running towards it. He put his hand on the cold, blue piece of fuel. "This could fuel is for monthes!" He said. Laughter suddenly filled the crater. "Too bad you can't use it!" A voice said. Override withdrew her sword and liked in the trees. Rodimus also looked, and saw a pair of red eyes in the brush. "Over there!" He yelled. A shape suddenly burst out, and knocked Rodimus to the ground. Slipstream dug her heel into the ground, and looked at the Autobots. "Looks like you DID fall into Straxus's trap! I didn't know you Autobots were THAT stupid." Override approached with her sword. "This was your plan? To lure us with our life source and wipe us out from there?" Slipstream nodded. "Pretty clever, huh? Straxus is the smartest guy I know." Override glared and swung her sword. Slipstream dodged last second, and the sword skimmed the cockpit on her chest, making a scratch. Slipstream looked at that and growled. "So you want to fight back? Then let's go!" She leapt at Override, who backed up, unsure how to react to Slipstream's attacks. Rodimus also leapt into combat, but Slipstream kept him at bay with her Gatling gun. Rodimus dodged the gunfire as Slipstream continued her attack on Override. She scratched her on the shoulder and hip, but the Autobot remained mobile. When an opening presented itself, Override swung for Slipstream's chin and caught her, cracking the Decepticon's head to the left. When she was distracted, Override got her shield and bashed her towards Rodimus, who also clocked Slipstream on the cheek. The Decepticon cried out and skidded along the ground, hitting a rock. The two Autobots approached, weapons at the ready.

Slipstream smiled and began laughing. "I look like I'm evenly matched. But that won't be a problem." She whistled, and Breakdown suddenly leapt over the rock, slamming into the ground. "You called?" He asked. Slipstream arose and pointed. "Take her. She seems equal your skill." Breakdown smirked. "That's almost and insult." He charged at Override, who tried to stab him. But the Decepicon brute caught her sword and grabbed her by the waist, smallish her into the ground. Pain filled Override's body as she grunted, but she refused to give up.

Rodimus blocked Slipstream's attacks easily, as the Decepticon's talons weren't hard to avoid. But the hurt, as Rodimus's cheek felt. Slipstream laughed as she kept her onslaught. "Why don't you just give up? You know Straxus will wipe your life from this world. Why not accept it!?" Rodimus grinned as he blocked her attack as went for his own. "Because we Autobots don't give up easy." Slipstream scoffed. "Yeah, but who's to say your friends won't? I'll bet you the truck an the blue one will give up. They aren't meant for combat, you know." Rodimus elbowed her in the chest. "They'll try. I lead my troops with PRIDE." Slipstream clawed him in the stoumach. "And they'll DIE with Pride!" She leapt over him, and threw him towards Breakdown. Override tried to recover from Breakdowns attacks, which were nearly devastating. The brute knocked her sword aside, and knew she couldn't handle him in hand-to-hand. He suddenly grabbed her by the arm and threw her behind him. Override and Rodimus clunked heads, and landed next to eachother. The two were exhausted, and ready to give up. The two Decepticons approached, grinning their grins. "I say we's should kill'em later. Deys looking like dey could use some more pain." Slipstream smiled. "You're right, Breakdown. Lets hurt them some more." Rodimus saw a chance to escape. "Not today." He said. He raised his gun as fires at the chunk of Energon. "No!" Slipstream screamed before the hunk exploded. The flames consumed all four Cybertronians, but the Autobots escaped. Using the last of their energy, they drove away. They were tired when they eacaped, as Override transformed and fell to the ground, breathing hard. Rodimus also transformed, ready to give in to his exhausted Energon levels. He reached for his communicator. "R-Rodimus and Over-r-ride here. Open a- open a Space Bridge." Withing seconds, the green and blue portal opened, and the two Autobots crawled inside.

Back at the explosion, Slipstream approached Override's sword and picked it up. The soot-covered Decepticon smiled as she eyes the broadsword.

Impressive. Some improvement to the spacing, some insight to Override's attitude, more jerkishness from Magnus (what is that guy's problem?!) and what's this, Slipstream and Breakdown are attacking, holy crap.

The fight was good, pretty intense with some classic trash talk thrown in, and Rodimus' quick thinking bought them time to escape; nice sense of strategy there. But it seems the Decepticons still maintain their advantage. Slipstream even gets a new sword!

Ah, poor Autobots. You really like raking them across the coals, don't you? ;)
