    Argh! Brain fart!

Thanks for pointing that out. It's all fixed now.

I'm glad you think so. Once the Autobots have more or less settled in on Earth, things will pick up in pace a bit, and we'll meet a few more characters, humans included.

Good bon voyage chapter. Can't wait to see the trouble they get into on earth.

Something I've noticed; you write Cliffjumper suspiciously; using words like 'believable answer' this chapter or having him admit to doing something illegal then shrugging it off as a joke in the last one. Are you plotting or have I just become paranoid?

You're being paranoid I'm afraid. Cliffjumper's a bit of a joker, and so sometimes Rodimus isn't sure if he's being serious or not.

The illegal thing was him joking, before he admitted how he really found out about Rodimus' mission.

Right so, lots of stuff happening in this update. New planet, new forms and all that. So let's just get straight to it then, shall we?

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Chapter One

    07

Optimus, Prowl and Ratchet stood in front of a viewing monitor in a large observation deck.

They watched as the Lost Light went through the Space-Bridge, headed towards a planet that Cybertronians knew little to nothing about. The room was filled with computer consoles and viewing monitors. There were wires, cables and vents all across the floor, in order to keep all the computers running efficiently. “Did they make it through?” asked Optimus, looking over at Wheeljack. Wheeljack waddled over to another console on the other side of the room. “The question isn’t if they made it through or not,” he replied “It’s if they made it through safely or not.” “Quit being pedantic.” exclaimed Prowl, rather impatiently. “Um, right, sure.” Wheeljack pressed a few buttons, and a diagram of the Space-Bridge and the ship appeared above the console almost immediately.

“There, see?” he began “They made it through just fine.”

“How can you be sure?” asked Optimus. It wasn’t that the Autobot leader didn’t trust Wheeljack; he just wanted to be absolutely sure of the Autobots’ safety. “Well, we can give them a quick call.” replied Wheeljack, keying in another set of numbers as he did so.
On the other side of the galaxy, a Space-Bridge opened up a portal. Through it, the Lost Light came slowly out. Inside, Rodimus and his crew were braced tightly to their chairs, just in case anything went awry. “Everyone okay?” asked Rodimus. “We’re all fine down here.” replied Hot Shot. “All the computer systems seem to have remained in an operative state.” continued Glyph. “And the ship is all in one piece.” finished First Aid. “Good to hear,” began Rodimus “But we’ve still to land.” Suddenly a button began flashing on the main console. “What is it?!” exclaimed Rodimus, worried something was going wrong. Maybe an engine had just exploded? Perhaps this planet was under Decepticon control and they were under fire. A million thoughts were racing through Rodimus’ head. But the one that stood out most; “I’m not ready for this.” The stress was already getting to Rodimus. How was he going to cope for the next few months?

“I think it’s just the coms, sir.” replied Glyph calmly, as she pressed the flashing button. “This is Iacon Observation Deck 06, incoming. Do you copy?” said Wheeljack through the com link. His voiced echoed through the bridge on the old radio. “We copy Wheeljack.” replied Rodimus. “Oh, good,” continued Wheeljack “We all just wanted to make sure you guys were okay.”

“We’re good. The space bridge jump was a complete success.” stated Rodimus.

First Aid stopped to think for a moment. “Hey Wheeljack,” he began “How are the radio waves from Cybertron able to reach us this far out? I didn’t think a ship as old as this would be compatible with a tachyon transmitter.” “You’re right,” Wheeljack began to reply “It isn’t, but we have constructed a Space-Bridge on the far side of this planet’s moon, and placed a tachyon transmitter on that, so that we could keep in touch.” Rodimus was a little surprised by that. “You never said you were building a Space-Bridge out here?” “Oh right,” Wheeljack said, evidently haven forgotten “We sent out some construction drones before we briefed you guys. It’s there just for if and when you need to get back here.” Rodimus nodded silently.

The Lost Light slowly began to make its decent into Earth’s atmosphere. As it did, a series of holograms activated on the outside of the ship, masking its appearance so as not to be spotted by any inhabitants of Earth during its decent. “Everyone brace yourselves, again,” exclaimed Rodimus “It’s about to get bumpy.” Rodimus wasn’t wrong. The ship shook quite a bit as it made its slow journey down to the surface of the Earth. Hot Shot was convinced he heard panels and parts flying off as it did. The ship did burn up, but thanks to its thrusters and buster system, it was able to keep the ship at a steady pace, so as to stop it from crashing into the Earth and getting wrecked. Slowly but surely, the ship was arriving at its destination.
Hot Shot peaked through the viewing monitor to the ground not too far below. “Hey look, you can see the mountains from here!” he exclaimed. Glyph peaked over the little yellow scout’s shoulder to confirm his observation. “He’s right! We must be close.” The ship slowly moved across the Earth, before it soon located its landing point. It was a small cut out in the side of a mountain, surrounded by a small forest and lots of stones. The ship slowly settled into the crevice, before activating its hologram technology once again in order to blend into its surroundings. To any outsider, it would just like another part of the mountain side, but the Autobots would soon call it home.

“Okay,” Rodimus began “Prowl said that first thing we should do when we land its get ourselves some disguises. So, I’ve sent out a T-AI drone to find us some appropriate vehicle modes.” “I hope it isn’t gone long,” began Hot Shot “I wanna get out and explore this new world!” “Me too,” agreed Glyph “I can’t wait to see what kind of culture and creatures this world has in store for us all!”

“Whoa, slow down there guys,” exclaimed Rodimus, gesturing with his hands for them to stop “We’ve only been on this planet, what, five minutes? Let’s take things slow.” “But-” Hot Shot wanted to continue, but he was silenced by Rodimus. “No more about going outside until the T-AI gets back.” Hot Shot fell into a quiet sulk, and decided to sit over by the viewing monitor on his own. Rodimus liked Hot Shot, but leading him around was more like telling a protoform what to do. He just wanted to do his own thing, not follow orders and commands. Rodimus could relate though; He was a lot like that when he was younger too.
“So, what do we do till then?” asked First Aid. Rodimus had to think about that one for a moment. “I guess we go to our rooms and unpack our stuff.” He replied. First Aid and Glyph nodded; satisfied with the answer they got, and headed off to their personal quarters. Rodimus looked back towards the viewing monitor where Hot Shot sat. “Come on Hot Shot,” he called out “This will help you kill a bit of time. Don’t worry though; you’ll be out and about before you know it.” Hot Shot got up out of the seat and walked in Rodimus’ direction. “Alright,” he replied, smiling as he did.

While the Autobots unpacked their stuff, the T-AI drone buzzed towards the small town nearby, only about ten or so miles from the Autobots’ ship. It soon reached the edge of the little town, which it discovered to be named Belbourne. It kept itself at a good height, so as not to be spotted by any inhabitants in the street. The town, though small, was filled with people, all walking along the streets going about their business, taking no heed of the little white, one-eyed robot hovering above them in the air. Close to one of the town were two schools; an elementary school and a middle/high school. At the other end was a hospital and dentist. Between all of this was a series of small housing estates, shops, barbers, police stations, a train station and a series of other amenities. It was definitely a small town, with a radius of about three or four miles tops. But it was quaint, and everyone there seemed happy.
Roughly half an hour after its departure, the T-AI drone returned to the Lost Light. The Autobots stood waiting in the scan room. There was one of these in practically every ship built on Cybertron. It allowed Cybertronians to obtain a vehicular mode on an alien world without the risk of leaving the confines of their ship. This was done through the use of a T-AI drone and chamber. The drone would be ejected from the ship and sent out to the surrounding area to find vehicular forms. Upon locating and scanning the required number of vehicles, it would return to the ship and transfer the schematics to a computer in the chamber. The computer would then decide which Cybertronian would be best suited to each vehicle, and tell each Autobot individually to step in one at a time to acquire their new form.
Rodimus stepped in to the chamber first, and after roughly thirty seconds, stepped out again. Only this time, he looked a lot different. The spoiler on his back wasn’t as exaggerated, and his shoulders were much broader. His wheels were also slightly more prominent, but not as large as they are. He looked himself over, making sure everything was intact. “Hmm, looks nice.” He transformed in front of the chamber. He revealed his new form to be a small red sports car; nothing incredibly high-profile, but a nice choice all the same. “I think I’m going to like it here.” He transformed back into robot mode, and the others took their turn in the T-AI chamber; First Glyph, then First Aid, and finally Hot Shot.
Each one of them took time to transform into their new vehicle modes. Glyph turned into a small, blue-green coupe, First Aid turned into an ambulance, and Hot Shot turned into a small, two door sedan. Everybody seemed to be happy with their new forms.

Meanwhile, on the far side of the Earth’s moon, a Space-Bridge vortex opened up, unknown to the Autobots on the planet below. It was struggling to stay open, having most likely been opened by a ship the picked up the trans-warp energy from very far away, and used what was left of the signal to activate the bridge.

Not too long afterwards, a Decepticon Warship crawled out of the portal.

Darn. Guess I'm just a paranoid nut afterall. In other news, Glyph is Alpha Trion, Tarn, and Shockwave. :lol

On to the actual chapter, nice aversion of the normal transformers go to earth scenario. They clearly planned it all out, so there was no possible mishap, crash, 'how are they a secret' flaw, or anything else like that. It was even peaceful to an extent (until that last sentence) which is a huge change from standard Transformers. Love how both Hotshot and Glyph couldn't wait to get off for different reasons.

Your most noticable strength definitely seems to be pacing. You really set up your world a lot before they even set foot on earth, which is something I can appreciate. Keep on doing a great job.

Thank you so very much. I always appreciate a good critique. Thank you again.

I'm hoping to get around to typing the next chapter in a little bit. Hopefully you'll find the Decepticon cast to be an unexpected surprise, and there should be a few more surprises in there too!

    EDIT: Speaking of an update...

So, after seven updates, we finally get to meet the main Decepticons of our little story. Not to mention, some back story, and a few more surprises in store that will be expanded on a bit more in the next update.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Chapter One

    08

Cybertron - A long time ago

Laser fire flew across the skyline, which was clouded by the smoke of fallen structures and warriors. Few buildings still stood, as most had been bombed to the point of collapse or implosion. On the ground below, hundreds of Autobots and Decepticons fought it out, each aiming to defeat the other for their beliefs and ideals. The Autobots wanted Cybertron to be ruled as a democracy; The Decepticons craved dictatorship and fascism. Then it happened.

The Nemesis, the Decepticon Flag-ship, shot up out of Cybertron’s atmosphere towards a Space-Bridge high in the planet’s orbit. It was following the Ark, an Autobot ship that was being used to transport a majority of the troops off world to find a new home. Not too many had stayed behind. Those who did did so because they could not stand the idea of abandoning their home.

Or that’s what the Decepticon intelligence officers reported.

Megatron sat aboard the bridge of the Nemesis, with the Ark clear in his sights through the viewing monitor. He had given Optimus and his Autobots the chance to leave Cybertron many decades ago, but the Autobot leader had refused, saying that they would rather fight and die for their home than abandon it. Megatron wasn’t going to give Optimus the chance to change his mind.

He stood up out of his chair and headed further back into the ship. He arrived at the docking station, where he met Soundwave, Chief of Decepticon Communications. “Soundwave,” Megatron began “We will soon be in place next to the Ark, and while I am leading the assault, you are to watch over things here on the Nemesis.” “Ask you command, Lord Megatron.” replied Soundwave, in his monotone voice. Megatron grinned, as he had complete faith in the stocky blue Decepticon. He departed the docking station and prepared to board the Ark.

That would be the last time Soundwave would ever see his leader for a long, long time.

    Earth’s moon – Modern day

As the Decepticon Warship crawled through the unstable Space Bridge vortex, its crew did everything to get out of it before the worst happened. They weren’t quick enough. The portal collapsed on itself, slicing through the very rear part of the ship, causing the engines to fail and the ship to free-fall down to the Earth. Inside the bridge of the ship, red lights flashed to alert the crew of the imminent danger.
A short red Decepticon stood at the main console pressing buttons and pulling a series of levers, trying to stabilise the ship before it made its rocky decent. The Decepticon had a wide built, composed of tall shoulders with a wheel built into each one. His chest was composed of a series of head lights, and his arms composed the door of his vehicle mode, while his legs formed the back. “Reboot!” screamed the ship’s commander, struggling to stay standing straight as he entered the bridge “Is there any way what-so-ever to stabilise the ship before we all crash and burn?” “Not unless you want to go outside and fly the thing yourself.” replied Reboot rather sarcastically. The commander snarled, and grabbed Reboot by the shoulder, bring the two face to face. “I do not appreciate your snide comments, Reboot, especially in times of distress such as this!” He released his grip on the Decepticon medic. “Yes, Overlord, sir!” replied Reboot, terrified, having been reminded of his place. “At best, we’ll be able to manage a controlled crash!” “Then do it!” commanded Overlord “And activate the holographic cover. The last thing we need is to be spotted by any alien observers.” Overlord took his place in a large chair in the centre of the bridge. He reached up and pulled down a walkie-talkie from the roof of the room.

“My fellow Decepticons,” he began. As he did, all Decepticons ceased what they were doing to listen to what he had to say. “As you may know, the ship is imminently going to crash on the planet beneath us. I suggest you all make your way to the bridge so as to aid Reboot in lessening our injuries upon impact.” Within minutes, another four Decepticons entered the bridge. Two near-identical robots, who evidently transformed into cars, took places next to Reboot and attempted to help stabilize the ship. A robot who bared some resemblance to an Anti-Aircraft gun truck followed swiftly behind, and took his place in a seat not too far from the main console, where he soon began plotting the best place for the ship to land. Finally, a tall Decepticon with large wings jutting from his back entered, and took his place in a seat near Overlord’s.
“Prepare for landing.” said Overlord, in a rather calm voice. Several minutes later, the ship had crash landed in a mountain range, roughly thirty miles from where the Autobots had settled down a few hours earlier. The crash shook the mountain side. Back in the bridge, the Decepticons were thrown about the place, having been flung from their seats after crashing. Overlord slowly stood up and rubbed his head, having knocked it during the crash. “Is everyone online?” He asked, not out of compassion for his troops, but more so out of the need for a squad of soldiers at his side. The two cars, Runamuck and Runabout, rose from the floor, helping each other. “We’re fine over here.” “Yeah, we’re good.” Reboot clambered off the console, snapping his right arm up back into place as he did. “Speak for yourselves.” he muttered. The Anti-Aircraft truck, Onslaught, rose from the ground, using a nearby chair for support, and cracked his neck as he did so. “I’m alright,” he replied. Overlord turned to the winged robot sitting in the chair near his own. “And what of you, my second-in-command?” The Decepticon just nodded. He was tall, slender, and of dark purple-grey in colour. Two wings protruded from his back, and two horns from his head. His name was Cyclonus, and was one of the most skilled swordsmen on Cybertron. He didn’t like to talk much either.

“It would appear as though we are all in need of some manner of repairs after that crash,” stated Overlord. “Actually, I think I’m fi-” exclaimed Runamuck, before Overlord shot him into the viewing monitor. “Like I was saying,” continued the Decepticon commander “We are all in need of repairs. So, Reboot, if you could be so kind as to prepare the medical ward to patch us up. I will see you first.” Reboot looked toward Overlord and then back to the viewing monitor, in which, Runamuck’s head was jammed. “Do I have to fix that too?” he asked miserably, pointing back to the half shattered screen. “Yes, as a matter of fact, you do,” replied Overlord, with a smirk on his face. Reboot began to head towards the medical ward on the ship. “Yeah for me,” he muttered sarcastically. Overlord walked over to the main console and pressed a button. “In the meantime, I have sent a T-AI drone to locate appropriate vehicular forms for you all,” he announced. “What about you, sir?” asked Onslaught “Strategically, it would be best for us all to take on new forms on this foreign world.” Overlord turned away from the main console to face his strategist. “Personally, I do not wish to belittle myself by taking on some crude, primitive alien form. Besides, I possess two alternate forms already. I do not see a need to change them.” Onslaught nodded in acceptance of this answer, as Overlord made his way to the medical ward. Runabout was trying to free his brother from the encasement of the viewing monitor, to no avail. Once he had passed his troops, Overlord snarled to himself.

Not too far from the Decepticons’ crash site, about two or three miles, something else jutted from the mountain side. It was broad, with jagged spikes, and purple in colour. The shaking in the mountains caused several rocks surrounding the structure to come loose, revealing a very familiar symbol.

The Decepticon flag ship – the Nemesis.

Cool backstory on the war. I don't really care about the other decepticons yet (just because they haven't done anything), but Overlord seems really cool. "We are all in need of repairs". :lol

Not really, no. He's intended to be more snide and sarcastic, and doesn't really like anyone. A bit like Dr. McCoy if he was evil, I suppose. :lol

Thanks, I'm glad you like him. Yes, Overlord's a bit of a psycho, or at least I'm hoping to develop on that idea. He'll probably end up doing more harm to his own troops than the Autobots. :lol

And don't worry, each of the Decepticons will have their time to shine.

Ok. Maybe its just the red sports car with door arms being the decepticon medic that made me think that. Reading through it again, I can see the evil Dr. McCoy.

It's alright. Feel free to take your time. I'd rather wait a week for great than an hour for average.

    Thanks guys.

Here is a reward for your patience as it were. Hopefully it was worth the wait, as there's a few revelations in there.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Megatron

Leader of the Decepticons – Former leader of the Decepticons; Soundwave didn’t realize it at the time, as he watched hordes of Decepticons raid the Ark that the Nemesis had attached itself to, that we would probably never see the tyrannical overlord again. All seemed to be going well, although there was suspiciously little activity on the Autobots’ front; No retaliation fire, no attempt to board the Nemesis. Nothing. Then Soundwave realized why.

    “It’s a trap!”

Then things all went wrong. A series of explosions went off across and through-out the Ark, sending rubble and debris flying off and into the Nemesis. The Decepticon flag-ship shook, and red lights flashed through-out the bridge. “Sir,” exclaimed a worried Decepticon soldier “Engines two and seven have taken serious damage. Anymore and we won’t be able to keep up.” Soundwave kept silent for a moment “Maintain course,” he replied “We will not abandon Megatron, at any cost.” The trooper nodded, feeling that it would be best not to question the order.
Soundwave continued to look through the viewing monitor as the Ark exploded and fell apart. The Nemesis shook once again, almost knocking Soundwave off his balance. “We’ve lost all control!” cried a trooper, as the two vessels fell into the Space-Bridge vortex.

Back in the medical bay of the Revenge, Overlord sat on an operating table as Reboot welded a wound on his arm closed. “So, why didn’t you just tell them the truth?” asked Reboot, attempting to break the silence. As much as he hated having to talk to people, he hated an awkward silence even more. “What do you mean?” Overlord asked, glaring at Reboot in an attempt to silence him again, but the Decepticon medic was too focused on his leader’s shoulder. “About the scanner thing; how you can’t take on a new form?” Overlord swung around, grabbing Reboot by the neck as he did, and held the medic flat against the wall, dangling ten feet from the floor. “Listen to me, very carefully!” began Overlord “You will tell anyone of this! The Decepticons out on that bridge must never know of my ailment.” Overlord dropped Reboot to the floor. The Decepticon medic rubbed his neck, in an attempt to cool and loosen the joints and wires Overlord had squeezed together with his grip.

“With all due respect sir,” began Reboot “Your ailment is hardly unique. It’s a fairly well-known fact that triple-changers, such as you, are unable to take on new forms on alien worlds. Their bodies and t-cogs can’t manage it.” Overlord looked back towards Reboot, and remained silent and motionless for a moment, before speaking again. “It is not to be mentioned, ever,” he stated “My ailment makes me feel incomplete, and will make me seem weak in the eyes of others, which cannot happen.” Overlord began to exit the room.

    “This conversation never happened.”

Meanwhile, on board the Nemesis, things fell and moved around due to the quakes created by the crash-landing of the Revenge not too far away. A small rock fell through a large break in the hull, and bounced off of a long, blue head as it hit the floor. A visor lit up, and the head began to move around. “Operational status; online,” The Decepticon uttered, as he turned his head left and right in order to loosen any old, rusted joints. “It seems as though my body has been rendered useless by the impact,” he thought to himself. Almost as soon as he did, a small set of legs emerged from the side of his head, which then lifted off his shoulders. He turned and looked at his old body, a majority of which had been crushed by falling structures within the Nemesis, and several small boulders from outside.

“It appears as though a replacement is in order.”

The Decepticon crawled through the rubble and over several dead bodies into another room towards the back of the ship. There, several generic Decepticon troops were locked in stasis pods, never too emerge now after the accident that occurred. The tiny head clambered up on to a nearby computer, which was no easy feat, and activated the console. Using one of his small built in limbs to press different buttons on the computer, he manoeuvred a lever attached to the ceiling and removed one of the troopers from the pods. Before it could come online, he used another lever with a laser scalpel attached to swiftly and precisely remove its head.
He brought the body right up next to the console, before crawling on to its shoulders and attaching himself to it. The small, blue headed Decepticon now had a body once more – a sea green, basic and generic body. He removed himself from the lever’s grasp and looked himself over. “It could use some modifications, beginning with a new paint-job.” The Decepticon strolled over towards the back of the room, where a modification chamber lay in wait. He stepped in, and pressed several buttons, causing a device to spray him with paint, oils and several other liquids. After several minutes, the Decepticon stood out of the chamber, now completely coloured in black, purple, and silver.

“The next step is to locate a new vehicular form to further blend in on this planet, should it prove necessary.” The newly refurbished Decepticon walked back into the bridge and over to the console where he last stood several decades ago. He typed in a series of codes into the computer console. Outside, a T-AI drone launched into the air, and headed towards the nearest populace to locate an appropriate alternate form for the Decepticon, that populace being Belbourne. It whizzed around the town, before arriving at the local bank. There, it located a curvy, smooth black saloon, which it quickly scanned. Before long, it had returned to the Nemesis, and the Decepticon was waiting within the T-AI chamber. Soon, he was bathed in an eerie green glow, before stepping out of the chamber, having been updated with his new form.

“Status;” he began “Soundwave is online and fully functional.

More good backstory details. Soundwave appears to look like Soundblaster. Which is good because I always liked those colors. So, Overlord can't scan new modes? I wonder if this will be all triple changers.

Thanks. I wanted to do something different with Soundwave's colour scheme. Black seemed like a better choice than blue, as Soundwave will mostly be spying about in this story, and black seems a lot more stealthy than blue or silver.

It is indeed applicable to all Triple-Changers, as Reboot mentioned. Due to the complexity of their forms, they can't scan new forms, as it would result in either a large loss of armor in one mode or in robot mode, so they have to retain their Cybertronian forms.

Just finished reading through his today.

Your universe really feels alive - and unique. You're usuing a lot of concepts that most Transformers series don't. I really like that the Autobots just went to Earth out of curiosity, and Optimus not being one of the main characters is refreshing. I like that your main characters are mostly underused in other series. Kudos for using a small cast, too. Should lead to good character development.

I already like Reboot. What a great original character. :D  And Overlord is suitably crazy.

Definitely going to keep reading if you keep updating. :D

Thank you for the critique. I really appreciate it.

Especially the part regarding Overlord. I wasn't too sure if I was portraying his psycho side accurately. Anyways, onto the story...

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reboot stepped out of the T-AI chamber.

Outside, Overlord and the other Decepticons were waiting, having received their new vehicle forms. “So,” began Runamuck “What now?” Overlord grinned. “I believe we should get a recommendation from our in-house tactician,” replied Overlord, gesturing a hand towards Onslaught. Onslaught began to rub his chin, humming to himself as he tried to come up with a plan of action. “I suggest we send out a scout to map the area and collect any data on any inhabitants before anything else,” he continued “After that, we must establish if there is an Autobot presence, and if so, how many of them. Then, we can begin making a home for ourselves.”
“An excellent suggestion!” boasted Overlord “You two!” he roared, pointing towards Runamuck and Runabout “Us?” they asked simultaneously. “Yes you. You are to go out and scout any nearby populace and report back here within the next hour.” The two nodded before walking out of the room. Reboot looked up at Overlord. “Are you sure those two are up to the task? They’re not the brightest of bots.” “I have faith in the twins,” exclaimed Overlord “As should you, good doctor. They have proved their worth before, and know the risks should they step out of line.” Overlord chuckled to himself, causing Reboot to take a step back.

Meanwhile, on board the Nemesis, Soundwave was reading through some data tracks from before the crash war, seeing what possible information there might be on his current whereabouts. He slammed his fist on the console. “Ridiculous,” he exclaimed “No information what so ever on this Primus-forsaken planet.” He pondered for a moment, unsure of what his next move should be. He looked behind him, at all of the dead and rusting bodies. “Perhaps I should make use of the materials around me.” He walked through the piles and began scouring for parts. “With Ravage and Laserbeak offline, perhaps I could do with a new, more modern minion.”
He picked up several parts from his old minions; a pair of wings, some legs, a head, and a torso. He carried them into a medical bay on another floor. Using one hand, he pushed a load of debris off of a table, while using the other to lower the parts on to it. He grabbed a welder and several tools from off the wall and began working on his new partner.

Situated three miles outside of Belbourne, there was a military base and research centre. It was built towards the Second World War, intended to be an air-force depot for planes flying across the country to different air bases. Due to its remote location, Belbourne was soon built around it, in order to provide a living space for those working on the air base. The town slowly grew outward, with more and more people living in it each decade.
A man in a blue shirt, tucked into his belted-up black trousers walked up to another man, who was wearing sunglasses and a black suit and tie with a white shirt. “Agent O’Connor, sir,” the blue shirted man said “What is it Jacobs?” replied O’Connor. Jacobs handed a piece of paper with several charts and lines of data printed on it. O’Connor took the paper and glanced over it. “These are energy readings taken from high in Earth’s atmosphere by several of our satellites;” continued Jacobs “Two objects entered our atmosphere within forty-eight hours of each other, and trailed along similar descents.” O’Connor thought for a moment “And do we have any idea of where these objects might have landed?” Jacobs took another piece of paper out of his back pocket and handed it to O’Connor. “According to our estimates, both objects landed within thirty miles of our current position.” O’Connor placed the sheet of paper in his jacket pocket. “Send out two search squads to find them,” he began “If there are more of those creatures out there we need to find and contain them. If they get out into public eye, it could cause wide spread chaos and panic.” “I understand, sir,” replied Jacobs. O’Connor nodded in acknowledgement. Jacobs walked back through the door he originally entered, and it slid closed behind him.
O’Connor walked into a large room reminiscent of an operating theatre. Behind the large glass panelling, stood a man in a lab coat writing notes onto a note-board. He was a middle aged man, of average height. His hair had receded on the top of his head, and so all that was left was horse-shoe shaped hair style going from one side of his head, around the back, and ending at the other side. “Doctor Spencer,” announced O’Connor in order to get the scientist’s attention. Spencer looked up and around to see the agent standing not ten feet from him. “Ah, Agent O’Connor,” replied Doctor Spencer “How can I help you?” O’Connor walked closer to Doctor Spencer and looked through the looking class at the working going on below them.
In the room below them, tubes, wires and cables were strewn across the floor. Engineers and mechanics were cutting and welding different pieces of metals and wiring, while other engineers and scientists worked on computers and metal frames. “I was merely looking to find out about the progress you’ve made on reverse engineering from our specimen.” inquired O’Connor. “Well,” began Doctor Spencer “So far we’ve managed to construct basic weaponry and body armour. But we’re months away from being able to construct robotic-armour suits and possibly even a good year from building radio-controlled drones.” O’Connor looked at the doctor, then back through the window.

“Progress is progress, no matter how slow,” replied O’Connor. The two stared through the window, seemingly at the work going on below them. “He’s a spectacular specimen, isn’t he?” stated O’Connor. “Indeed he is,” replied Spencer “I wonder if there are any more out there like him.”

“Oh, I’m sure there are.” replied O’Connor.

Below them, in the large, steel room, stood the lifeless body of the former leader of the Decepticon Empire; The Emperor of Destruction; The Tyrant of Cybertron.

    Megatron

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

And on that note, I'd just like to let you all know I'm taking a bit of a hiatus, or something. I know where I want to go with the story, sort of, but I'm just unsure of how to get there. I keep coming up with new ideas, which effect other ideas, or don't seem right, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'll leave this here for now, and maybe someday I'll come back to it.

    Sorry guys.

Laserbeak and Ravage are dead? Say it's not so. Oh well, moving on, I wonder what his new minion will be. Also, oooh, Megatron already. The situation reminds me a lot of the 2007 movie in a good way. Your Decepticons are filling out nicely so far.

P.s. I think you might want to fix "Second world war two".
