Welcome, ladies and Gentlemen to the new fanfic of the wonderful Galvanitro's Nova Universe! Have fun!

    Universal Stream: Athren 1010.27 Iota
    Universe Title: Nova
Universe Backstory: Transformers. Their home planet, Cybertron, had known peace for many millennia.

Then Megatron rose to power. He declared himself a Decepticon and he was determined to make the planet what he thought it should be. A race that conquered other planets. Megatron wanted to make an empire, and rule it as he saw fit. He gathered an army, and followers loyal to him, and he hit Cybertron like a firestorm.

The Autobots slowly reacted, raising their own army, led by the new Autobot Commander, Optimus Prime.

More than a century later, the war between the Autobots and Decepticons still rages on throughout the universe. Not a single Cybertronian has been left unaffected. Cybertron, Velocitron, even the planet Earth, the list of planets feeling the effects of the Cybertronian war goes on and on...

The battle lines are changing everyday, as is the war. Autobots and Decepticons are changing sides, ancient powers are rising, old allies and old enemies are returning, and the universe countinues adding to their growing hatred of the Transformer race. Only time will tell what effects this will have on the war, and the people in it. What does it mean to be an Autobot...or a Decepticon?

    PROLOGUE.

Among the Space, a lonely ship crosses the stars, An Autobot Ship.

“Ratchet old friend, are you there?” The rough voice of Optimus Prime can be heard inside said ship; a hologram of Prime to be more precise.

“Yes, Optimus, what are your commands?” Said The Renowned Autobot Medic Ratchet, commander of the ship, in a respectful tone: he was always ready to obey the mighty leader of the Autobots without questioning.

“I take it you’ve heard about the group known as the Wreckers?” Optimus asked humble as always.

“Yes, Optimus, an elite force trained to destroy everything on their path, designed to be the ultimate force of the Autobot Ranks.”

“Unfortunately, they are far from becoming the ultimate force, Ratchet, that’s why I called you.” Sadness carried his voice, “Recently, The Wrecker known as Springer left the ranks, we lost a great Wrecker that day, the best of his time.” Optimus stated in sorrow, “Since his departure, The Wreckers have entered in a Dark Age defeat and deception, their chain of command is shattered, the Autobot Intelligence System fails them and their battles can’t be won anymore, their numbers are fading way with time, few have remained.” Prime’s tone elevated, “I fear the Wreckers don’t have much time until their final stand.”

“How will we solve this?” Ratchet commented, though he never cared much about the Wreckers due their violent nature, he was unable to not feel sad for them.

“It is in you, dear friend, that I put all my hopes.” Optimus stared Ratchet with his blue eyes, “Only you can save the Wreckers from extinction: You shall replace Springer as the leader of the Wreckers.”

That new smacked Ratchet in the head like a megaton punch.

“Me!? But Optimus, I’m a medic, not a soldier!” Ratchet said in surprise.

“The Dark Age of the Wreckers happened because they can’t work together; you have the intellect and the Spark on the right place, that’s what the Wreckers need, Ratchet: a leader with the Spark on the right place, only you can light their darkest hour.” Prime seemed sure of his decision.

“I’m honored, Optimus.” Ratchet smiled, “I’ll do my best.”

“I have full faith in you, old friend.” Prime said one last time, before his hologram disappeared.
Once Optimus’ hologram disappeared, Ratchet sat on his chair, with his hands on his forehead. “Oh, Primus.”

Ratchet was now going to lead a team of havoc-wrecking soldiers, and he is not the type of guy that leads this team.

    Meanwhile, on the Wreckers Headquarters.
An old Green Wrecker walks amidst the corridors of the Headquarter: Corridors of rusted metal with some faded out symbols of the Wreckers on its walls, the whole place was in a horrible shape since the departure of Springer.

The Green Wrecker enters in a room, bursting a door, seeing two other Wreckers [a red one and a green and brown other] punching each other.

“Roadbuster, Warpath! You pair of mindless scrap! Stop fighting for a damn second and listen to me.” Said the Green Wrecker, annoyed and imposing.

“Why do you keep ruining our fun, Kup?” The Brown and Green Wrecker [Roadbuster] said, kicking the red one [Warpath] away.

“Yeah, I was almost winning! One or two KABLAMs and he would be finished!” Warpath stated, screaming KABLAM on Kup’s face [much to his annoyance].

“Sit down, Warpath, sit down please.” Kup then showed a file he was carrying, “As you may know, before Springer’s departure, we were collecting data about the Dark Quadrant.”

“Oh no Kup, not that Dark Quadrant story again, it’s a myth, man! Accept it!” Roadbuster said.

“It is not, a myth, you short-sighted fool!” Kup was angry, VERY angry, “The Autobot intelligence might not believe me, but IT IS NOT A MYTH! Springer knew about it, and he had proofs! We were THIS CLOSE of discovering the Dark Quadrant, THIS CLOSE I TELL YOU!” Kup punched his desk angrily and calmed down, “But that’s not important, what’s important is that I found new information on the Dark Quadrant.”

He grabbed a control, and with the pressing of one button, a hologram appeared in the desk, the hologram of a planet, a black rocky planet.

“INTHENAMEOFPIRMUS!” Screamed Warpath, jumping from his chair.

“Is that what I’m thinking it is?” Roadbuster couldn’t believe his own eyes.

“Yes, Gentlemen, behold the Dark Quadrant!” Kup said, proud of the image.

“Where did you get that, Kup?” Asked Roadbuster, worried.

“That’s the funny part: I was hanging out on Zurk Kalligeri’s Cantina when I a drunken Decepticon entered in the bar and started mumbling about some files he found while he was doing a routine research, he was so drunk I was able to get the files without even punching him in the face, look at that, ha-ha.” Kup stated, a bit more lighthearted.

“WE HAVE TO WARN THE AUTOBOT INTELLIGENCE!” Screamed Warpath in worry [he was probably exaggerating].

“Why haven’t you passed that to the Autobot Intelligence already, Kup?” Agreed Roadbuster.

“So I lean this precious disk to them, they’ll do what? Tell me that everything is false and there’s nothing there, then burn the disk because it’s all a steaming load of scrap without even checking, that’s exactly what happened before, Roadbuster, EXACTLY what happened.” Kup had bitter memories from the past.

“What are you proposing, then?” Roadbuster was calm as always.

“Invade the Dark Quadrant by ourselves, a Black Ops mission just like the old times.” Kup smiled.

“I’m afraid you drunk juuuuust a bit too much of Energon, old timer.” Warpath said.

“And you are too soft, Warpath.” The grizzled Kup stated fearlessly.

“I’LL SHOW YOU SOFT!” Warpath raised his fist, but before anything could happen, an Autobot Drone entered through the door.

“Lieutenant Kup, Sir!” The Soldier made continence.

“What is it?” He answered with a grumpy tone.

“Optimus Prime wants to talk to you.”

“Blessed be that Prime.” Murmured [in a very low tone] Warpath, thanking Optimus for sparing him of getting his tailpipe kicked by Kup.

“Optimus?” Kup smiled, “There’s been a while since the last time I talked with Prime; it would be good to see him again, put him on the line.”

“Yes, Sir!” The Drone left the room.

The Optimus’ hologram then appeared where the hologram of the Dark Quadrant was supposed to be.

“Greetings, Lieutenant Kup.” Optimus was respectful towards his old friend.

“Hah, Prime, it’s been a while.” Kup laughed.

“Indeed it has, Kup, Indeed it has.” Optimus smiled [even though he was wearing his faceplate] remembering his old times with the old green veteran “Kup, I’ve heard about the situation of the Wreckers.” Optimus said with pain on his voice.

“As long as we have a Spark and a gun to wield, we’ll be here to fight.” Kup stared courageously.

“Kup, the Wreckers are on disarray, we need to fix this situation before it’s too late and the Wreckers perish, The Decepticon forces are conquering your territories with each day that passes.” Optimus carried the weight of a Trypticon on his words.

    “And you suggest what, Prime?”

“I would recommend a great amount of investments on the Wreckers, but I’m afraid the High Council lacks faith in you to allow such.” Optimus continued, “But, I have faith that I’ve taken the right action.”

“What action, Prime?” Kup’s worry increased: Optimus is always too drastic.

“I’ve sent a new leader to the Wreckers, Kup, and his name is Ratchet.”

That new crashed on the head of the Wreckers like a meteor: A Medic leading a team of soldiers?

“What?” Warpath asked confused and a bit revolted.

“RATCHET!? A MEDIC!? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND, PRIME!?” Kup lost his patience right in front of Optimus.

“You should remember that Ratchet is my personal friend, Kup, you should not underestimate him.” Prime stated calmly, in contrast to Kup raging commentaries. “You should also remember he saved your life on the Cybonic Crisis two years ago, Kup, without him, you would have perished to the Cybonic Plague.”

“I suppose you’re right.” Kup calmed down [more due Optimus’ imposing voice than anything else], but still was visibly annoyed.

Seeing Kup’s outraged expression, Optimus continued.

“Kup, as your friend I must beg you: Give Ratchet a chance to prove himself worthy, I promise you that he will not fail in leading you to victory.”

“That remains to be seen.” Kup’s gruff tone said, “But I’ll try, Optimus, I’ll try.” He was more receptive now, apparently realizing he was wrong.

“Thank you Kup, You will not be disappointed.” Optimus’ hologram then disappeared.

An awkward silent fell on the room when Optimus’ hologram disappeared.

“Kup, what do we do now?” Warpath asked, breaking the silence.
“We invade the Dark Quadrant.” Kup answered coldly.

“But what about Ratchet?” Warpath once again asked.

“He’ll help us, Warpath; I have a plan for him.” Kup was dead-serious: He spent years looking for the Dark Quadrant; he wouldn’t let something insignificant as a new member of the team ruin the whole operation.

    CHAPTER 1 - A Burden To Bear.

    Wreckers Headquarters.
An Autobot Ship silently arrives on the place; Ratchet’s ship, and inside it, Ratchet was able to see the decline of the Wreckers: The whole place was rusting fast, the Wrecker symbol was faded out, and the place looked like it had been abandoned a long time ago.

“What kind of wretched place is this?” Ratchet said in surprise: he never expected to meet The Wreckers on such condition, even with Optimus’ warning of the situation around there.

“I call it home, Ratchet.” An old voice emerged from Ratchet’s back: Kup, walking towards him with a friendly smile.

“Kup, it’s been a while.” Ratchet stated serious, “What happened here?” he asked puzzled.

“Decepticons, Ratchet, that’s what happened.” Kup walked inside the HQs, forcing Ratchet to follow him through the rusting corridors of the Wreckers Main Base, golden statues of previous Wreckers leaders among the corridors, all statues were in need of polishing, they were almost brown instead of golden: A perfect metaphor for the state of the Wreckers, Ratchet thought, fading away…

But before he could comment anything, however, two Autobots flied through a wall; a green and brown one and a vivid red one, Ratchet was barely able to dodge the pair.

“Warpath, Roadbuster, meet your new leader: Ratchet, specialist medic of the Autobot Team.” Said Kup, apparently used to such bizarre situation.

“Uh…Good evening, soldiers.” Ratchet was quite bewildered by this situation; it was strange to see two soldiers beating the slag out of each other in a friendly way like this.

“Good evening, Doc!” The pair answered.

“Those two are our top soldiers, best of the line, havoc-wrecking members of the finest quality of Wreckers” Kup was quite proud of his men, he was unable to hide that, “But they’re also the only troop we have, so don’t waste their lives, they’re all we have.”

Ratchet gave a few steps back, “Two soldiers only? That is suicide!”

“You don’t really know anything abut the Wreckers, do you?” Kup laughed again, “We are the Autobot Last Defense, when those pansies of the Elite Guard fail, WE DON’T.” he screamed with pride of his wrecking nature.

“It certainly doesn’t seem so.” Ratchet remarked in a witty way, remarking the current state of the HQ.

“Spare me of your mockery, Ratchet; you are here to lead us to victory once more, not to make fun of our decline.” Kup then stared strongly into Ratchet’s eyes, “Can you do that?”

“I certainly can, Sire.” Ratchet said respectfully.

“Good, good.” Kup turned his head away, much to Ratchet’s relief, “Warpath, Roadbuster!” he called.

    “Yes, Sir?” Roadbuster answered.

“You both go do your duty for once and mount guard on this place, there are still ‘Cons out there wanting our spark to use as a necklace!” He ordered.

“Decepticons shall go KABLAM, Sir!” Warpath said in excitement while turning into his tank mode and drove away.

Roadbuster was unsure of the reason of Kup’s sudden orders, but after a few seconds, he decided to obey already and not question and soon drove away as well, “As you order, Kup.”

After both drove away, Ratchet commented “They are quite loyal to you.”

“We shed precious Energon and metal together, Ratchet, that’s how Wrecker bonds are formed.” Kup stated.

The two then entered into a nearby room: a room with a big round desk on it with the Wrecker symbol painted on the table: That was the command room.

“Ratchet.” Kup said heavily, “What I’m about to tell must not be revealed to anyone.” His tone was stone-cold serious, “Not even to the Autobots, this is only between you, me, Warpath and Roadbuster.”

Ratchet started to worry, “What is it, Kup?”

“I need your word that you won’t tell anyone.”

Ratchet was unsure whether he should trust Kup or not, it was far too early to something like this, Ratchet looked downwards, thinking.

“Answer me, your damn medic ‘Bot!” Kup screamed, demanding respect.

“You have my word!” Ratchet was instinctive; there was no turning back now; he made his choice.

“Good, good.” Kup turned his back on Ratchet, and turned on the hologram of the black, rocky dark planet.

“BY THE ALLSPARK!” Ratchet stood up, surprised with such sight just like Warpath and Roadbuster were before him, “The Dark Quadrant!”
“Exactly, doctor, The Dark Quadrant.” Kup was cold, analyzing every single move of Ratchet: He obviously was unable to trust him, “And we are planning to invade it.”

“Have you lost your Circuits? This is the Dark Quadrant! The lost planet! We can’t just break in like that! We need reinforcements!” Ratchet was visibly worried: Legends speak of the Dark Quadrant, and most were not good.

“Ratchet, we cannot call reinforcements, they won’t listen!” Kup insisted.

“No, you have gone too far, Kup!” Ratchet raised his tone in anger, “You can’t just hide this from Optimus! THIS IS TREASON!”

“No, listen to me, Ratchet! LISTEN TO ME!” he grabbed Ratchet’s shoulders, staring deeply into his optics “WE CANNOT CALL REINFORCEMENTS! I’VE TRIED BEFORE! WHY DO YOU THINK THIS PLACE IS RUSTING? HUH? NO ONE GIVES A DAMN TO THE WRECKERS!” The usually calm Kup was exploding in rage and anger, repressed for a long time and it was now being unleashed all at once “USE THAT HALF-MADE CIRCTUIS ON YOUR HEAD FOR ONCE! WE ARE ALONE HERE, SOLDIER! ALONE!”

Ratchet sat down in fear and respect of Kup, wordless; he never saw the great Kup in such mood; that was not the ‘Bot he met a long time ago.

“Your times as a medic boy, surrounded by friendly soldiers are done, Ratchet!” He pointed to Ratchet’s face aggressively, “You are now our leader, the leader of this declining combat force and is your duty to turn it back to is golden days!”

Silence fell upon that place for moments, an atmosphere of anger increased on the place.

“Kup…I can’t do this.” Ratchet stared at the ground, hopeless, “I can’t hide this from the Autobots, I can’t travel blindly towards certain death; I can’t.” he finished “I’m not a soldier, Kup.”

“But you must be.” Kup was fierce o his words.

“Why don’t you lead them? You’re strong, you’re bald; I AM NOT!” Ratchet was in revolt.

”LOOK AROUND YA! See how well my Leadership turned out!” Kup screamed, “I’m an old, wretched ‘Bot, Ratchet, my time is long gone, I’m not a leader anymore.” He said surprisingly compassionately, “You are.”

“Why don’t you call someone else, then?” Ratchet dodged.

“You seem to forget who called you here, don’t you Ratchet?”

Ratchet then remembered Optimus’ words “I have faith in you”, Optimus said.

“How can you throw away Optimus’ judgment so easily? You are disgusting.” Kup raised his tone, “YOU ARE PATHETIC!”

Kup then turned his back on Ratchet, leaving him alone with his thoughts.

“Oh, Optimus, You’ve picked the wrong person.” Lamented Ratchet, hopeless and disappointed with himself.

His thoughts just confirmed: He lacked enough bearings to lead the Wreckers.

Meanwhile, outside the Headquarters, Roadbuster and Warpath were mounting guard, both watching the surroundings of the great fortress of the Wreckers, it was an easy job, as the Fortress was only surrounded by a deep abysm.

“Look, I’ve got one.” Said Roadbuster to Warpath, “So, Unicron walks in a bar--” he suddenly stopped: Something had caught his attention.

“Unicron walks in a bar and WHAT, Buster?” Warpath asked curious.

“I…I think I heard something.” Roadbuster looked around, suspicious: he definitely had heard something, but he was unsure.

“Oh, come on, Buster! The joke can’t be that bad!” Warpath stated.

“No, I’m serious here, Warpath.” His right arm then shifts into his trademark machine gun, “There’s something close, I think it’s some kind of…” he walked towards the direction of the sound, carefully.

Roadbuster looks carefully, his green eyes analyzing every bit of the ground with great detail: he saw something red moving amidst nearby to the rusted metal of the Headquarters gates, “There’s something there, Warpath.” He murmured, walking towards the source of the sound.

    “What?” Warpath also murmured, worried.

“Some kind of…” Roadbuster said, putting his eye on the aim of his gun, when he did that, he saw: A little red demon preparing to hit two hammers on the ground with insane strength, “…RUMBLE!”

A massive wave of sound struck both, causing them to fall to their knees.

“WHAT KIND OF SOUND IS THAT?” Roadbuster’s audio receptors were almost exploding.

“Taste the Rumble, Autobots!” Bragged the diminutive Rumble while striking the ground endlessly with his hammers, torturing both Wreckers, driving them all to madness due the sheer strength of the sound.

While the Wreckers were tortured, a flying metal hawk flied from the skies: Laserbeak, dropping bombs on the Wreckers to finish them of.

"You can only be kidding me!" Roadbuster murmured to himself while being mercilessly hit by the wave of attacks by the two Small Decepticons.

“Operation: File Burning initiated, My Lord!” Another small minicon, a blue one [Frenzy], talked via comlink to his Master as he entered in the Headquarters of the Wreckers.

The Wreckers’ defenses had been overwhelmed by three diminutive Decepticons of the most dangerous kind, they were in deep trouble.

you know, the wreckers so far are depicted as badass people. We haven't seen them in decimated numbers before, so I took the earlier Beast Wars response "RUINED FORVER" and the whole trukk not munky rant

    I liked Beast Wars.

The story actually is about how badass the Wreckers are, but instead of the "ABSOLUTE VICTORY"-side that is generally shown, this story is about other side of the Wreckers.

Oh, and this chapter is offered by Iron Maiden and "Die With Your Boots On", theme song for this battle [I wrote the chapter while listening to it, awesomeness doesn't even begin to describe].

    CHAPTER 2 - Complications.

Ratchet walked out of his room, crossing the rusting corridors of the Wreckers headquarters, looking at the declining shape of the building.
He then saw Kup, old Kup, with a little smile of joy while staring at the statues of the previous Wreckers.

“The Wrecking Hall of Fame, it’s been a while since my last look.” Kup was stopped on the middle of the corridor, staring at those statues: the mightiest leaders of all mighty factions of the Wreckers, since before the war: Kup could remember his old days serving alongside the very people pictured there, “People that fought against the greatest menaces that ever lived and survived!” he laughed.

And indeed, it was a great hall, hand-made statues in all their shining might among the rusted walls: a sacred place of honor, the perfect representation of how The Wreckers can be brutal yet honored at the same time, true Autobot heroes.

“Oh, how I miss those times.” Kup said in nostalgia, “Times of true heroes.”

“Where is Springer’s statue?” Asked Ratchet, curious.

Kup then stopped smiling; his optics shifted downwards, “He never had one.” All nostalgia in his voice seemed to disappear, shifting to a tone of deep sorrow; Kup was sinking in his thoughts.

Only then Ratchet saw the sorrow in Kup’s Spark, “Are you alright, Kup?”

“No, Ratchet, I’m not.” Kup was compassionate for the first time in a while, “I’m tired, I’m old, wretched ‘Bot, Ratchet, I have no more strength to wage another war against the Decepticons. How many years do you think I have, huh? Two? Four?” Kup’s depression was imminent, “You must take the leadership, Ratchet; it’s your duty.”

Ratchet had no answer for Kup’s statement, his thoughts were conflicting itself: The burden of Wrecker Leader was too much for him.

But before he could say something, a buzzing sound echoed in his ears.

“Is that the alarm?” Kup returned to his gruff and imposing tone, seeing the red lights replacing the normal yellow ones: Someone had invaded the base; it’s been a while since something like that happened.

“Weren’t Warpath and Roadbuster mounting guard?” Said Ratchet, worried.

Kup’s eyes widened with surprise: “Oh, those fools!” he remembered that his two soldiers were at the gate, and he had to rescue them, they’re all he got.

“Wait, Kup!” But it was too late; Kup had already left the corridors, running to the gates.
“Why would someone break in this wretched base?” Ratchet was a quick-thinker, analyzing the possibilities: A Surprise attack? Hardly, or else there would be a much larger attack, Criminals trying to steal things? Unlikely, no criminal in sane mind would strike the Wrecker base, “Why?” he repeated: He couldn’t reach a good answer.

Until it finally came to him: “The Dark Quadrant!” Ratchet said in surprise; that’s what the attackers want: To destroy the data about the Dark Quadrant localization, “They won’t have it!” he said to himself, running in the direction of the Main Computer of the Wreckers.

Meanwhile, on the Gates of the Wrecker headquarter.
Roadbuster and Warpath were mercilessly struck by a wave of shots from Laserbeak, as well as a sound wave from Rumble’s part.

“How do you like that, ‘Bots? How do you like that?” Rumble laughed at their face.

“Something…on…your…head…Buster?” Warpath could barely talk, he had lacked energies even to stand up properly: he was lying in the ground, trying [and failing] to stand up.

“No, Warpath.” Roadbuster was similar physical state, “SOMETHING ON MY ARM!” he then fired at Rumble’s direction with his machine gun.

“Oh, Scrap!” Rumble dodged: The small ‘Con was agile like no one Roadbuster had even seen.
But when he dodged, he gave Warpath and Roadbuster an opening to recover, and that’s not something you give to your enemy, mainly when he’s a Wrecker: They both were now ready to wreck havoc.

Rumble was however able to dodge every bullet fired by Roadbuster, “You’re slow, Wrecker!” and he proceeded to hit the ground with his hammer once again, striking Roadbuster’s ears again.

“We’ll see about that!” And so the battle between Rumble and Roadbuster started: Bullets and wave sounds being fired from on to other, both dodging each other’s attack masterfully in a matched combat.

“KABLAM!” Warpath used his Tank-mode to fire [insanely] large shots at Laserbeak, in hoping of shooting him down.
But the small bird-like ‘Con was quick enough to dodge Warpath’s strikes and rain bombs upon Warpath as well.

“I can take this all day!” But Warpath was also strong enough to take all of Laserbreak’s artillery for quite a long time [mainly when he’s in tank mode, where he is almost indestructible].

Everyone was firing madly: No one was having a good time there.

    Meanwhile, inside the Wrecker Headquarter.
Kup ran through the corridors like crazy: He couldn’t allow his soldiers to die in such a pitiful manner.

“Hold on, you airheads!” Kup was able to both offend and both complement his soldiers in one statement.

But, before he could reach the gates, a small blue Decepticon appeared before his eyes: Frenzy, running at an amazing speed, almost invisible to the eyes of Kup.

“What on the Allspark?” Said Kup in surprise: He never saw such bizarre creature, almost like a blurr.

“Shut up, Grandpa!” Frenzy commented, jumping over Kup.

“You think you’re escaping?” Kup punched Frenzy mid-air, launching him [very] hard against the ground.

“Oh, Scrap.” Frenzy looked up, seeing the old Kup cracking his fists with a big smile of joy on his face, “I think I might have underestimated them, My Lord.” Frenzy talked via comlink again.

“Oh, you certainly did, pal!” Small cannon emerged from Kup’s right arm, firing at will on Frenzy.

The Small Decepticon jumped over Kup to avoid the blasts, “Where you think you’re going?” The joy-filled Kup asked while firing all of his ammo upon Frenzy [who was barely able to dodge while jumping over Kup].

“RIGHT BEHIND YOU!” Frenzy was swift, and electrocuted Kup with his both hands: An insane amount of watts flowing through Kup’s circuits, almost frying his spark.

Kup fell to his knees, Frenzy smiled in joy for the defeat of Kup, “You’re going down, ‘Bot!”

Kup’s hands slowly moved as he was electrocuted: He was trying to aim at Frenzy’s head, trying to take a clear shot even when his body is on the verge of being destroyed due the sheer amount of watts.

“IMPOSSIBLE!” Said Frenzy in surprise, doubling the potency of the discharge.

Kup’s cannon re-loaded, and a small sound of his aim locking on could be heard.

“DIE, JUST DIE!” In desperation, Frenzy multiplied the potency of the discharge tenfold, his systems were almost overloading.

“AAAARGH!” the sheer electricity exploded Kup’s right optic, knocking him unconscious at last.
“And for Primus’ sake, STAND DOWN!” Frenzy was shaking: He never met such determinate Autobot; Frenzy’s dynamos melted due the strength the discharge; that was too much electricity even his inner system handle, he couldn’t believe how long Kup took to die.

“Now, get to the main computer!” Frenzy commented to himself, turning around and running at insane speed once more.

    However…

“A Clear shot, at last.” Yes, Kup was still alive, still aiming at Frenzy and finally had him on his aim: He took one clear shot.

“ARGH!” Frenzy’s left leg was shattered into pieces by the blast, severely reducing his speed.

“Bulls eye.” Kup laughed, falling unconscious.

    ...

Some minutes later, in the Wrecker Main Room, where the Main Computer was localized.
Frenzy slowly entered in, with two guns ready: He was walking with one leg and a half; he couldn’t risk to be hit again.

But fortunately [for him], he was unable to find anyone, “Good!” he slowly walked in the direction of the Main Computer [that was also a desk with the Wrecker symbol written in it].
Frenzy then used his hands to connect to the computer: He was proceeding to break in the defenses of it.

“YES!” He said in great joy, “YES, YES, YES!” he repeated.

Within seconds, Frenzy erased all the files related to the Dark Quadrant localization, “Mission complete, My Lord!” he smiled.

Frenzy then prepared to leave the room, silently [despite the massive trail of Energon he left on the way to the room, courtesy of his shattered leg] when he heard a voice, coming out from behind the desk/computer.
It was Ratchet, emerging from the desk/computer with his right hand turning into a gun.

“Oh, Not again!” Frenzy said before another clear shot blasted his shoulder away.

“ARGH!” Frenzy ran away for his life, Ratchet fired in his direction one last time, but he missed.

Amidst the corridors, Frenzy used his comlink to talk with his pals “Laserbeak, Rumble, RETREAT; RETREAT!” he ordered in absolute desperation.

    Meanwhile, at the Gates.
The battle raged on among the two Small ‘Cons and the two Wreckers, all using full-power to try to kill each other.
However, as the time passed, it could be clearly seen that the Small ‘Cons were starting to tire, their ammo was running out and they were starting to have difficulties to dodge.

While The Wreckers used to that violent lifestyle, the heat of the battle and all that were perfectly fine, firing with all their might.

“What’s the matter with you? Tired already?” Roadbuster laughed while exchanging shots [and sound waves] with Rumble.

Before Rumble could answer, Frenzy’s orders reached his ears: Retreat, much to Rumble’s relief, “Thank Primus!” He said.

But in his relief, he lost his attention on Roadbuster, and was promptly shot in the face, “SLAG!” he said while he was sent flying backwards with half of his face destroyed.

However, before Roadbuster could deliver the finishing shot, Laserbeak caught Rumble mid-air and flied away quickly, Laserbeak looked like a pitch-black flying blurr.

“Running away already?” Warpath screamed, making aggressive gestures with his hands [like if he were calling both back for a second round], “But Little Warpath was only starting!”

“Shut up, Warpath, Shut up.” Roadbuster commented, tired of Warpath’s immature nature.

Seconds Later in other part of the Wrecker Headquarter, Frenzy escaped by The Headquarters’ back

“Laserbeak, come here to pick me up, NOW!” Said Frenzy in desperation.

Laserbeak quickly came to the call of Frenzy, grabbing him as well and flying away carrying both Rumble and Frenzy.

“What on the Allspark happened to you?” Asked Rumble.

“Complications arose, continued and were eventually conquered.” Frenzy answered, a bit cranky.

“Really? ‘Cause it looks like the complications kicked your ass.”

“I don’t remember asking you one damn thing, Rumble!” Frenzy screamed, annoyed.

The three small ‘Cons flied away, heading to the base of their absolute Master: Soundwave.

    CHAPTER 3 - Powerhungry.

    ….

    Wreckers Headquarters, Main Room.
Kup, Roadbuster, Warpath and Ratchet were there, recovering from their short [yet deadly] battle with the group of diminutive Decepticons.

“Roadbuster, Warpath: You two will need new audio receptors, you previous were absolutely obliterated.” Ratchet commented while fixing Kup’s right eye [lost in the fight against Frenzy].

“WHAT DID YOU SAY?” Warpath said screaming; he couldn’t hear one god damn thing.

“But at least you both suffered only superficial damage on your fuselage.” Ratchet continued, “Kup, you’ve survived an ungodly amount of watts running through your systems.” He then finished molding Kup’s eye: The Old veteran was fixed again, “Yet, all of your systems are working perfectly, no damage at all, only a brief system overload.”

“Thanks, Doc.” Kup was grateful, “But it seems our circuits were damaged: HOW COULD WE LOST TO THREE SMALL DECEPTICONS, ALONE?” he said in rage, “We are the Wreckers, DAMN’IT! We should be the unstoppable force!”

“It was my fault, Kup.” Even with the receptors damaged, Roadbuster could somehow understand what Kup was saying, “I couldn’t hold them off on the Gates, that was supposed to be my task.”

“Shut Up, Roadbuster.” Kup answered angrily, “It was the fault of us all, we all failed to our Wrecking duty.” He continued “The irony? The one to fend off the invaders was MEDIC, while the Wreckers got their tailpipes handled back to them.”

“Yet, it was all for nothing: They still hacked in and deleted our archives, it’s all lost.” He fell back on his chair, depressive.

Kup then noticed one weird thing on Ratchet’s face: he was smiling, much to Kup’s surprise, “Why are you smiling?”

“Well…” Ratchet then throws a small microchip to Kup, “Take a wild guess.”

“You saved the Dark Quadrant file?” Kup smiled in joy, “HAH-HAH! Doctor, remember giving you a medal.” The old ‘Bot walked towards the Main Computer, grinning all the way

“It seems we still have a mission to accomplish, boys!” Kup laughed.

“Wreck’N’Rule, Kup, Wreck’N’Rule!” Roadbuster came to the conclusion of the current happening pretty quickly, even without his ears.

“WHY ARE YOU GUYS WHISPERING?” Warpath asked, confused and screaming again.

“Fix this guy’s ears for Primus’ sake!” Stated the annoyed Roadbuster [even though he also had damaged audio receptors] to Ratchet, almost begging.

Ratchet gave a brief laugh: this team was starting to grow on him.
He then moved to fix Warpath’s Audio Receptors, “Hold still or you’ll die.”

“WHAT DID YOU SA—“ Warpath’s phrase was cut short when Ratchet knocked him out with a shock weapon.

“Now I can work in peace, at last.” He sat on a chair, quietly working on Warpath’s head.

“As soon as you both are fixed, we’ll leave!” Kup said proud, “For today, The Dark Quadrant will fall! TIME TO WRECK’N’RULE!”

Meanwhile, deep within the rocky planet known as “The Dark Quadrant”, a mighty Decepticon base could be seen: A group of tall, dark and respectful buildings, a true piece of art to show the might of the Decepticon base.

Inside it, Frenzy Rumble and Laserbeak entered on a dark, light-lacking room: the room of their master, the only visible light was a hologram of the Dark Quadrant planet on the middle of the room [showing the planet half-purple and half-red, with Decepticon Insignias marking the purple areas and a hammer symbol marking the red areas], it was an extremely large room, filled with mechanical equipment and surgical tools.

“Uh…Lord Soundwave, are you there?” Asked Frenzy, fearful of his master.

“We shouldn’t be here, Frenzy, let’s go.” Rumble was even more scared.

Laserbeak, however flied across the room, searching for Soundwave.
Out of the shadows, stepped a tall, dark blue Decepticon, his chest glowing purple and Laserbeak landing on his shoulder: That was Soundwave, the hacking master of the Decepticons.

“Lord Soundwave!” Frenzy and Rumble said at the same time while taking a bow.

“How did your mission proceed?” He asked on his cold and scary tone; matching his faceless head.

“Very well, My Master!” Frenzy stepped up to speak, “We deleted all the files from the Wrecker Main Computer.”

“Did you make a copy before erasing the files?”

“As you ordered, my Master!” His right forearm transformed into a small screen; a hologram generator.

“I require the copy immediately.” Soundwave’s tone was unfazed as always, but such words made Frenzy nervous.

Frenzy pressed some buttons on his forearm, trying to show the hologram of the Dark Quadrant.
    However, nothing appeared.

“Something wrong with your data, Frenzy?” Rumble remarked in a witty way.

“Where is the Data, Frenzy?” Soundwave walked towards Frenzy slowly, much to Frenzy’s nervousness.

“I don’t know!” Frenzy started walking backwards in fear, “I swear I don’t know! The Data disappeared out of my systems! Forgive me Lord Soundwave!”

Soundwave was stoic; no one could tell what thoughts were crossing his head.

“He needs to pay for his failure!” Rumble commented, smiling.

“It is statically unlikely Frenzy would fail at his task.” Soundwave walked away from Frenzy, allowing him to calm himself down, “Frenzy’s hacking skills are beyond comparison, its statically unlikely Frenzy would simply lose the files.” Soundwave continued, analyzing the facts with his cold brain “It is, however, statically likely that someone put a fake version of the original files on the computer before Frenzy hacked in, causing his confusion.”

    “So he won’t be punished.” Rumble stated, bored;

“Your lack of loyalty towards your partner is not recommended.” Soundwave remarked to Rumble.

Rumble, in fear, stood back and stood in silence.

“The Files have vital importance to our task.” Soundwave said, “Its recovery is our top priority at this moment.”

“What kind of importance?” Rumble spoke again.

“The coordinates to the precise localization of the Selaron Generator.” Soundwave stated.

“But how is that possible? We’ve been mining this planet for a countless amount of time in search for this Generator and we haven’t found yet!” Rumble forgot who he was talking to for a minute, “Day by day, our Drones dig deeper on the heart of this planet on the search for this generator!”

“Do not question my orders, Rumble.” Soundwave’s tone shifted slightly: a sign of anger, rare among Soundwave’s speech, “This file is vital to us, we need to recover it before our adversary is able to find the Selaron Generator.”

“You mean Lord Straxus, the previous ruler of this planet?” Rumble said.

“Precisely, Rumble.” Soundwave stared at the planet’s hologram on the center of his room: Showing the current state of the planet, “In our quest for the Selaron Generator, We have acquired half of the planet; our adversary commands the other half, yet neither of us can find the Selaron Generator, even with our drones mining the Earth endlessly.”

“This file will give us the edge on the quest for the Selaron Generator, whoever acquires this file, holds the power over the Selaron Generator.” His mechanical tone continued along the phrase.

“But we shouldn’t worry, my Master, for Lord Straxus has no idea this file exists!” Frenzy tried to make his master happier.

“Statically, Straxus has 87% chance of knowing about the files.” Soundwave, as always, answered with statistics, “This statistics worthy of concern, we need to find the File before Lord Straxus, or our mission will be doomed to failure.”

“Yes Master!” Frenzy and Rumble answered in respect and loyalty to their only Master.

Laserbeak, Frenzy and Rumble left Soundwave’s base, heading to the rocky mountains and plains of The Dark Quadrant, on their quest to find the lost File, now in the hands of the Wreckers.

    ….

Meanwhile, on the opposite part of the Dark Quadrant, deep within Straxus’ lands, his headquarter was visible: a group of tall and bulky towers, warped and twisted metal, the nightmare of an architect.

Inside that base, a tall, bulky and dark orange Robot stood proud, his body filled with tattoos on ancient Cybertronian: His name was Straxus, also known as the Lord of Pain and destruction.
Straxus was on his throne, on the highest floor of the building, a mighty spiked throne, matching his merciless nature.

“Straxus, Sir!” Two drones walked in his room.

“Speak quickly, Drones, for I have much to think of.” Straxus angrily commented.

“Another massive explosion happened, this time on the Outpost Alpha-9, no survivors!” Commented one of the Drones making continence, “An explosion of…Dark Energon.”

“An Explosion of Dark Energon, you say?” Straxus arose from his mighty throne, his eyes hungry for power, “This means we’re close to it!”

Straxus laughed, an ocean-deep laugh, chilling the Sparks of the Drones standing in front of him.

“Double your efforts! Focus all Driller we possess on the Alpha Quadrant, mine every single rocky piece of the ground until there’s NOTHING LEFT!” He screamed.

“But sir…the risks of another Dark Energon explosion are astronomical!” The Drone commented.

On single blast: That’s all that it took to wipe that Drone out of existence, one single blast of Straxus’ titanic arm cannon, “You all belong to me, my orders are not simple commands; they are your reason to LIVE.”

“Sir, Yes, Sir!” The Other Drone turned his back on Straxus, walking around to transmit his commands to the other Drones.

Lord Straxus sat back on his throne: even with that pesky Decepticon called Soundwave trying to measure power with him, his power was total, and the Selaron Generator was even closer to his mighty hand.

The rundown for the Selaron Generator only worsened.

I should have a more thoughtful comment, but all I can think of at this precise moment is that I love this line and it wins. :)
