Chapter 5

Part 2

Scalpel scurried along the roof of the museum until he reached a vent. A very special vent. One that led to the dinosaur exhibition.

“Initiating nanobot technology!” he smiled to himself as he unleashed thousands of miniscule ball bearings down into the vents. They dropped silently past a maze of rotors, incinerators, vents, air holes, and more vents. Clinging gently down, they slid down towards the dino-exhibition.

Gravity pulled them down onto the ground, and all five thousand of them clanged loudly against the newly polished floor. Settling down, the ball bearings zipped across the ground like little magnets, sliding and skidding towards the large fossilized skeleton of the Tyrannosaurus rex. As they reached it, sensors stuck them onto the skeleton, and they separated into a million pieces to mesh into the bone structure.

People who saw this ran as fast as their legs could get them, for who knows what would come next. The nanobots slowly covered the whole skeleton, until what it got was a full metal structure of the skeleton of a Tyrannosaur.

Outside, the unsatisfied Scalpel poured in millions more of ball bearings into the vents, and after crossing through thousands of mazes of vents, rotors, incinerators etc, they came out and fell from the roof onto the ground. From there they zipped up the already metalized skeleton of the dinosaur and formed a metal skin that bulked up everything. The ball bearings entered the eye sockets and other crevices, creating a large metal leviathan that looked completely brand new.

Millions and millions more ball bearing dropped from the vents above and zipped across the museum floor, sculpting themselves into and around a Triceratops, a Pterosaur and a Stegosaurus. The armored bulked up versions were definitely intimidating and scary-looking, and their ember eyes glowed brightly.

Looking through a few windows, the newly arrived protoform Decepticons quickly scanned the creatures and reformatted themselves. Each of them then transformed into their alternate forms, while the nanobots attached to the skeletons slowly turned into dust, revealing the fossilized bones underneath.

The Triceratops, the Pteranodon, the Stegosaurus and finally the Tyrannosaurus rex transformed. The Tyrannosaur’s eyes glowed a deep red and he roared with might and power, shaking the area they were within.

“Me Grimlock like...” he snarled happily.

Scalpel looked on while on the top of the roof. He smiled deviously.

Holy crap!!! Up until now I was anti-Dinobots, because I thought that the way they would have to get their alt-modes was impossible because dinosaurs are extinc/organic. The way you made it happen has made me like the idea now. Are they going to stay Decepticons or are they going to be turned?

You might have to change swoop back into a Pteranodon since most people don't know what a Quetzalcoatlus is. I had to google it. Great story so far though. I know it's uncharacteristic, but I've never been too fond of the Dinobots because of their meatheaded dialog. Maybe there could be a reason for them to speak like this?

yup. Grimlock explained that the dinobots were just large infants. they grew big in four seconds by Starscream, remember? oh, and i changed swoop back.

Part 3

“There ain’t anything we could do now can we?”
Back at Diego Garcia, Skids and Mudflap looked on as Sam, Mikaela and Simmons worked on thinking about what the vision was about. “Five Primes just doesn’t make sense!” Simmons declared, walking around the couple that were sitting down on the main stairs of NEST headquarters.
“We need a lead on the old school stuff, dude!” Skids couldn’t keep his mouth shut for long.
Mudflap broke out in laughter. “You lost, dude! Man, you owe me five bucks!”
“What you talkin’ bout?” Skids punched Mudflap in the face, who was still laughing.
“You totally forgot the game we were playin’ five minutes ago! You know, the one where we practice to keep our mouths shut!?” Mudflap choked.
“I don’t remember no game! You owe me ten bro!”
“For what!?”
“Nothin’!”
“I ain’t givin’ you ten bucks for nothin’!”
“Whatever yo! Jeez!”
“Shut up!” Simmons shouted. “There’s no point in arguing for nothing! What are you, five?”
“Technically in robot years, we only four man!” Mudflap replied.
“That explains everything,” Simmons rolled his eyes.
The black and yellow Camaro drove up onto the driveway, and Leo and Astoria opened the doors and came out. “We know how to answer your question,” Leo said.
“Wow! Leo’s being serious for once.” Sam said sarcastically.
Sam and Mikaela walked into the Camaro with Leo and Astoria and closed the door, while the twins transformed, and Simmons walked into the Chevrolet Spark. The Autobots drove off with their human passengers.

Sam and Mikaela sat in the back seats while Leo and Astoria sat in the front. “So what’s this all about, Bee?” Sam asked.
“I can answer to that!” a queer voice came from between Sam’s legs, and Wheelie crawled out from under the front seats. “One word – Seekers!”
Sam and Mikaela looked at each other, puzzled, after hearing Wheelie’s words.

Chapter 5

Part 4

“Never been so free before. Was always work, work, work,” Charles Banes sat back and relaxed in the nice cushy cushions of the Saab Aero X as the Autobot drove him around Tranquility. “Yeah, well don’t get used to it!” Wheeljack’s voice came from inside the radio of the vehicle.

Suddenly, Wheeljack halted in the middle of the road. “What’s the matter?” Charles asked. Wheeljack was silent. Too silent. He caught something in his rear view mirror. Something that smelled like trouble.

The police Mustang Saleen vehicle drove slowly behind the Aero X, and stopped just as soon as its quarry stopped. The Decepticon was patient.

Wheeljack worked out what to do in his processors, and soon, the only logical way was to escape. The engine turned on in an instant, and he revved up, burning rubber immediately, causing fog to rise as he sped off down the road. “What’s going on!?” Charles was suddenly frightened at the sudden burst of speed. “We’re gonna’ die! I’m gonna’ die!”

The sleek black Mustang drove up from behind, catching up fast. Twisting and turning into a corner, the Autobot tried to fend off the pursuer, but the Decepticon was smart. And fast.

They turned into a clear road, where they sped on like the wind. The police vehicle’s sirens roared loudly in the air as he got close enough until he pushed his bumper into the back of the Aero X. A large thud was felt by both the Autobot and Charles as they sped on.

The Autobot drifted, turning sharply and reappearing behind the Mustang. The Decepticon pulled his breaks, realizing he was at a dead end, but his tires didn’t react fast enough, and the police vehicle crashed into the sidewalk and into a lamp post.
Wheeljack opened his door and tossed Charles out. As the man landed onto the ground with a loud thud, the Autobot behind him started to change shape. Bending, shifting, folding and finally rising, the bipedal natural form of the alien robot was a sight to behold of.

Charles didn’t waste time. He got up from the ground and started running as the police vehicle altered his form.

Barricade snarled and whipped up his melee mace weapon in an instant and rushed towards Wheeljack.

A chainsaw buzzed out of the Autobot’s arm and he chipped off tough metal from his enemy, forcing Barricade to back off. The Decepticon roared, lunging forward and crashing into Wheeljack with his large, sharp claws. The two tumbled across the road and Charles struggled to get out of the way.

The two tumbled into a stop, and Wheeljack got up first. Switchblades, knives and daggers flipped out from all over the Autobots body. “You took countless innocent lives at the battle of Tyger Pax!” Wheeljack warned. “It’s time for your payday.”

“It’s called war. Get used to it!” Barricade struggled to get up. As he did, he tossed his melee weapon into the air, and the bladed mace sliced across the wind, smashing straight into the Autobot’s torso.

“Now, time to take another innocent life! Yours!” he snarled, picking his mace up and lifting it into the air.

In a fraction of a second, Wheeljack’s arm turned into a myriad of cannons.

“You’re just overrated. Literally.”

He blasted Barricade’s head off from his body, and the decapitated Decepticon slumped onto the ground, defeated and offlined.

Charles walked up, his heart thumping and pounding rapidly. He was in shock, and couldn’t believe his eyes.

I love you man!!! Barricade is back!!!! I would like Paramount to hire you for this movie it all fits.

EDIT: and then he's gone - but at least we get closure and AWSOME dialouge!!!!!!!!!
