I'm really sorry guys. I've had the hardest time working on this last part. Everytime I write something I'm just not satisfied with it. I keep deleting and rewriting. I've forced it so many times and even when I did that it just was sufficiant as a filler. I'm just writing a small dialogue filled scene between the Maximals and Thrustinator. It's just getting no where. So while I work on that I decided it was time to shift focus to the canine twins and their dilema. I wrote this all in about the last 3 hours so I hope you enjoy as I feel it's not to bad. I'll try to finish my troubled part soon enough and hopefully not take long as I have to post this.

And introducing Christopher Walken as Scourge. You gotta hear his voice as you read his dialogue. If you don't know who he is look him up on youtube. For those of you familiar with him, a part was written almost identically to a scene involving him in Joe Dirt. See if any of you can figure out where:

Breaking Even Part 3:

Cyberwolf finally approached the building they had previously sought refuge in and ran inside to see his friend backed against the far wall his rifle aimed at the doorway only to shoot when Cyberwolf entered, and missed quite badly shooting the ceiling.

"Cyberwolf?! Why did you come back?! There's no hope for me! Get back with the team!" Bountyclaw snapped. Cyberwolf kneeled in front of his friend and removed the patch plate on Bountyclaws abdomen to look thoroughly at his damage.

"I'd never leave you behind. I'm probably gonna get court marshaled after this, but, I don't care. I don't leave friend behind, even if they're offline." Cyberwolf began to assess what was wrong. "Your hydraulic lines have severed from your left servo. You can still move the other a bit but you won't walk, let alone run in that state."

"Which is why I didn't bother calling you guys on the comlink. There's no hope for me! Now leave and help the others while I hole up here and at least take a out some Preds before I go offline." Bountyclaw tried pushing Cyberwolf away but he wouldn't leave.

"Won't do that buddy. I think I can fix this. I mean you won't run but I can get you moving on two legs. Just give me a few kliks." Cyberwolf went to work inside the wound trying to reattach and weld the damaged hydraulic line. "I'm surprised you're not screaming in pain." Cyberwolf noted.

"I turned off my pain receptors and sensors. This way I'd go offline without feeling a thing." Bountyclaw clarified.

"No wonder you can't shoot for slag right now. You need those so you can move properly and feel. Without them you might as well be offline. You can turn them back on. I'm done. It’s gonna hurt but at least you can move and fire straight." Cyberwolf added.

"Ahhh, jeez, you were right! Stings like a... wait a klik! How come there are no more sounds of fire?" Bountyclaw listened carefully but only heard the wind and burning of other structures.

"You're right? What's going on?" Cyberwolf opened a comlink. "Sarge?! Sarge, do you copy?!" Soon they heard footsteps approaching the doorway. Cyberwolf silently signaled Bountyclaw to aim for the doorway. They both stood silently guns aimed at the door as the footsteps drew closer and closer. Eventually the door opened and there stood Sideways. He was calm and his weapon was holstered.

"Sarge!" They both said at the same time with surprise and relieved.

Even after Cyberwolfs dreams had ended he continued to recollect their past. He blocked the rest from his mind. If he was going to go offline at the hands of Scourge, he'd rather try to remember a positive time in their lives, not that he could remember any. Reality was, misfortune followed them everywhere. Trapped in their sacks stuck inside Payloads massive alternate form only furthered his feeling of impending doom. He wondered who the five Maximals were that were chasing Payload, and had obviously defeated Highwire and Thunderblast. He hoped maybe it was the new Maximals they'd met, but with their luck not likely. Probably just some other Maximals from Primax they'd conned. There were plenty.

The ride was quite long and it felt like stellar cycles. When it was finally over everyone had exited pulling the sacks they were in with them, dragging them violently to Scourge. At one point they were thrown down a number of flights of stairs while Salvage and Payload laughed at their misery, even though their destination was on the top floor. After a long and abusive trek they had stopped and silence surrounded them. Then they heard and all too familiar and muffled voice. They could hear Scourge. It seemed as if he were in a nearby room talking to another unfortunate fool whom had borrowed from him. Soon they were lifted up and the sacks removed. They were in Scourges casino, or at least the rear offices. In front of them was the doorway to his office. Behind them stood Payload and Salvage urging them to enter.

They opened the door and entered his huge office. It was like a mini casino with games, a bar, and fembot servants walking around with no torso plate. They might have been excited had it not been for the fear of death that surrounded them. At the end of the room near a large wall window was Scourge seated at his desk speaking to the other unlucky bot. He looked terrified.

"I mean, I let you borrow 200,000 credits for your start up business and you assured me in two stellar cycles you would quadruple my investment. It's been said allocated amount of time and you have failed to do so," Scourge said standing from his desk approaching the bot.

"But, sir. I've since tripled your investment. The business has taken off and is doing quite well. It may not be as much as I thought but in, at most, six metacycles I'll earn the rest of it. You saw the progress charts. It's guaranteed," The bot tried to explain.

"You're missing the point, my friend. A deal is a deal. You failed to deliver. Listen, I like you. I wanna help you out but you're making me look like a fool. Do I look like a fool to you?" Scourge asked in an intimidating manner.

"N...n... no," the bot responded quivering. Scourge looked him in the eyes and backed up a bit and cocked his head.

"What's that? That look. It's all wrong. It's got the wrong tone. Do it again, and I'll stab you in the face with a soldering iron." The bot continued quivering looking around confused as if Scourge were talking to someone else. "There it is again! Let me ask you something. Does your parental unit weld? Huh? Does she weld?!" Scourge asked him slapping him in the face pausing for a moment.

"I... I don't know, maybe, why?" The bot asked in fear. Scourge pulled out his blaster and fired one shot off at the bots head, it exploding into small fragments as the body fell over lifeless.

"Get her to weld that!" Scourge responded taking a seat at his dest setting the blaster down before sighing. "Would one of you ladies clean that up." He sat back seemingly frustrated as Salvage approached. "I don't get it. I mean, I'm friendly, I'm generous but bots think they can take advantage of my hospitality. You think I'm a nice guy, right Salvage?" Scourge asked looking at Salvage as he approached, Salvage nodding in acknowledgement.

"Yes, sir, you are very generous. It's appalling how some bots take advantage of it," Salvage responded.

"Damn right!" Scourge added looking over at Bountyclaw and Cyberwolf. He stood from his desk excitedly. "Bountyclaw, Cyberwolf! Oh, my dear friends." Both looked at Scourge nervously as he approached them. "Please, sit down, sit down. Don't mind the mess. I'll get that cleaned up," he walked them over to some chairs in front of his desk. He sat down again and looked at both of them with a smile. "It's been a while. I hope things have been going well. Now, I'd love to chat with the two of you but first business. My credits. You've been behind. You're two decacycles late. I think I've been leaniant enough."

"That's not right. We have five more solar cycles," Bountyclaw interrupted.

"Correction. You see, we had to push your deadline ahead by 3 decacycles. Therefore you're late. Didn't Salvage tell you?" Scourge looked at Salvage who acted forgetful in mock.

"Oh, dear me, I guess I had forgotten. Sorry," Salvage replied a chuckling a bit.

"That's not fair!" Protested Cyberwolf.

"Life in Axiom Nexus isn't fair. So I need to see how much you two have," Scourge said nodding to Salvage who approached the two with a credit scanner using in on both their arms.

"Between the both of them they have 103 credits," Salvage said putting the scanner away.

"Not nearly enough to our agreed upon amount. This is not good," Scourge shook his head staying silent for a moment. He soon looked up. "Listen, let's be honest. We all knew you two would eventually be in this situation. You two generating more interest than earning. In that light I'm doing you two a favor," Bountyclaw and Cyberwolf looked fearfully at the remains of the previous bot that the fembots were still cleaning. "Oh, don't worry. That's not what I have in store for you. Fortunately I found a way you two can earn back what you owe me tenfold."

"How?!" Both replied ecstatically.

"You guys have heard of my cage fights. Bountyclaw, I know you've lost lots of credits on them. That's a big part of my profits. If I can set up matches that generate lots of buzz I stand to make millions in one night. You two are pretty well, known around these lower levels. A lot of bots want to see you dead, as you owe. After you two became indebted to me scamming became second nature. To think you two were once prestigious Maximals in your own reality. That said I figure the best way to resolve said debts is to have you two fight in my cage. Your debts cleaned in one night and a job should you win," Scourge could tell by the look in their eyes he had their attention.

"Well, who do we have to fight? This sounds perfect," Cyberwolf was curious.

"That's where it's complicated. I could put either of you in a fight with anyone in this city and you two would have potential to win. Bountyclaw you're straight shot and rarely miss. I can't handle a gun as good as you. Cyberwolf you're an expert with melee. That energon crafter gives you one major advantage in combat. In the end you two would be favorites to win and just wouldn't really generate income. So, I figure I'll just have you two fight each other to the death," Scourge clarified only two have both stand in protest.

"You can't do that! It's not right! We won't agree to that!" Bountyclaw retorted. Cyberwolf looked enraged.

"Whoa!" Scourge stood from his desk. "You don't ever talk back to me like that! I'm doing you a favor! Face reality boys! This is your only way to fix your debts! Either you fight each other, or I can deal with you like any other loser in this city and sell your parts to earn what you owe me! So what will it be?!" Scourge finished slapping his hands down on his desk. Bountyclaw and Cyberwolf fell silent looking at one another.

"We'll do it," Cyberwolf answered surrendering to his terms. Bountyclaw quickly looked at his friend, shock in his eyes.

OK, so I finished the infamous part from this chapter. It was very difficult for me to figure out where I was taking this and in the end the only parts that I feel flow well or are even written remotely decent are the Waspinator moments. I really feel I gave him some much needed characterization that was lacking in BW and BM. The next part will be the final piece of this chapter, before a heavy action/rescue chapter that will occur after. While I feel this part was forced I do feel it will pave the way for what is to come.

I also wanna add, that in the coming days I'm going to be going through the entire story giving some much needed rewrites. There are a lot of type o's, plot errors, and holes that need to be corrected as well as a bit of dialog overhaul. If any of you are reading earlier parts of even re-reading and notice these things please PM me with the details as to where and what so I can correct them. Thanks:

Breaking Even Part 4:

Dreadwing, Cheetor and the others arrived quickly at Obsidians location. Silverbolt had arrived not long before as even he was shocked by the situation. Obsidian and Silverbolt were both facing away looking at the ground as the others joined them. Looking down at the ground in front of them was Shockblast immobilized. It wasn't that Obsidian had managed to defeat Shockblast that had them in awe, but was the fact that Shockblast, completely intact, was like a metal blue statue. She was still online, but in deep stasis, showing no sign of coming out anytime soon.

"Atlus! What happened to her?!" Dreadwing couldn't believe his optics.

"The weapon of Vector Sigma," Obsidian replied still looking at Shockblast.

Dreadwing scoffed. "Haha, very funny. Now what really happened?" He said turning his attention to Obsidian.

"He's not kidding," Rattrap couldn't think of a quip at the current situation. He wished he could have such a weapon, remembering back to the Spark Wars.

"You mean to say there really is a weapon of Vector Sigma?!" Dreadwing asked bewildered.

"It's not so much a weapon as it's a modification to your own weapon systems. Megatron implemented it into his generals and and drones towards the end of the spark wars. I would figure with the change in the time streams that the download would have been deleted, but it would seem that instead it is uploaded into the spark, much like my key download," Obsidian explained calmly.

"It would appear that these alternate events are becoming truth more an more as the solar cycles pass." Rhinox commented before his eyes widened at a thought. "Wait! If you still have this download, would that mean that Thrust or Waspinator would have it?!" They all suddenly looked at one another in dread.

"Blackarachnia!" They said in unison.

The door to hotel room Blackarachnia and Thrust were staying in was blasted open by Cheetor and company. They stormed in ready to take down any threat to Blackarachnia. What they found were a very surprised Blackarachnia and Thrust who were waiting calmly for the others to return. They stood defensively as Silverbolt entered first blaster aimed towards Thrust who cowered behind Blackarachnia.

"What the...?! Silverbolt?! What are you doing?!" It seemed Blackarachnia was almost defending Thrust, her arms spread out her body hiding his view.

"Stand aside, my love. I will not let this snivelling Vehicon endanger you any longer," Silverbolt continued to approach blaster extended as Thrust began to shiver. A trait that was not known of him.

"Ohhh, what Waspinator do?! Waspinator not hurt spiderbot!" That voice and speech pattern were all too familair as all the Maximals lowered their weapons.

"Waspinator! When did you awaken?!" Silverbolt questioned holstering his rifle and approaching. Waspinator moved from behind Blackarachnia, relaxing a little.

"Not long ago. Waspinator wake up in strange room alone with spiderbot. Batbot having stasis nap. Waspinator and spiderbot been talking," Waspinator explained.

"Talking about?" Silverbolt asked, a brow raised.

"I was trying to get the identity of the bot that brought him back to Cybertron from Earth," Blackarachnia answered quickly relieving Silverbolts suspisions.

"Any luck?" Obsidian approached curious of her findings.

"None. He just won't crack," Blackarachnia replied in disappointment.

"Didn't you try your seductive charms?" Rattrap questioned figuring that would be the first approach she'd use.

"Come now, Rattrap. Blackarachnia would never use her charms on...," Silverbolt started to say before Blackarachnia interjected.

"That was the first thing I tried." Silverbolt stared in shock, jaw dropped at her answer. "He resisted as if he wasn't even attracted to me. Whoever brought him back instilled quite a bit of fear into him."

"Spiderbot would likely please Waspinator at least a little while before scarybot would rip Waspinator limb from limb. A little pleasure not worth going offline," Waspinator explained.

"At least he has his priorities straight," Cheetor half joked.

"I can't believe this. After all these stellar cycles you're still attempting seduction? Can I not trust you to act like a Maximal?" Silverbolt turned away feeling betrayed.

"Silverbolt! Don't make this any bigger than it needs to be. I was trying get some answered solved. If you've noticed things have changed drastically for all of us and if I could find out who's threatening him I might even be able to find out how the streams altered. Besides, its not like I kissed him or anything," Blackarachnia attempted to defend herself.

"Oh, not yet, but that's how it starts," Silverbolt added folding his arms and turning his back to her in spite.

"Silverbolt don't be like that!" Blackarachnia snapped as Cheetor stepped up to get things under control.

"Silverbolt, you're reading way to much into this. None of us would doubt her loyalty to you. Under the circumstances what she attempted is logical. Besides, we're not here to resolve any troubles you two are having. We came to verify if Thrust has the weapon of Vector Sigma," Cheetor reminded them.

"Why would Thrust still have that?" Blackarachnia asked stepping back from Waspinator nervously.

"Because I still do and recently used it without realizing it," Obsidian answered.

"What Vector Sigma weapon do?" Waspinator wondered aloud.

"Turns anything it hits into a living statue of sorts. Or that's how it appears," Dreadwing replied, Waspinator taking a moment to think about it before understanding what he meant.

"Waspinator not have weapon like that. Waspinator would remember," Waspinator became a bit worried he might be arrested again, this time for something he was sure he wasn't guilty of.

"At the HQ we have ways of determining for certain," Dreadwing added, Waspinator backing up really concerned.

"How will you manage that?" Obsidian asked curiously.

"Cross reference datatracks with weapon systems. Quick process. Completely harmless," Dreadwing wing explained. Waspinator looked around as if no one cared how he felt about this.

"And how do we know you won't try to take the weapon for yourselves? How can we trust you?" Blackarachnia questioned.

"That wouldn't be a possiblity. There is no skematic for the weapon as its more a diversion of power from multiple systems. The systems open a portal in which the weapon fires through. While it doesn't exist in a host who can use it there still is a possibility we can cross reference his datatracks with my own to determine if he can use it," Obsidian clarified, attempting to ease any suspisions of Dreadwings potential motives. Waspinator finally stepped forward expressing his feeling.

"Waspinator not like this! Does no one care how Waspinator feel?! Sure, Waspinator Predacon! Waspinator even serve Megatron in Beast Wars and in Spark Wars! Waspinator know he have personality and identity issues but Waspinator not dumb! Waspinator's life string of bad luck! Bullied, pushed around, underestimated, questioned, and blown up all the time! But Waspinator still here, still kicking! So at least treat Waspinator like sentient lifeform and not some drone!" The entire group looked at the Predacon in shock and from many there was sympathy in their optics, including Rattrap who actually had a statue of Waspinator in his quarters on the Nexus from his collection of parts optained from the Beast Wars.

"So why serve Megatron? He was the one who mistreated you the most," Blackarachnia asked, feeling compasionate for a change.

"Megatron promise Waspinator glory. Give Waspinator purpose. On Cybertron Waspinator nothing but dumb henchman. Waspinator see chance to be something more, only to still be treated like dumb henchman. Waspinator still hope. Never give up quest to make something of self," Waspinator explained.

"And so you let others manipulate you, feeling as if they might actually respect you. You still served an evil cause however." Silverbolt added no longer concerned with Blackarachnia's previous charming of Waspinator.

"What evil and good anyway? Life not black and white. Just shades of grey. Some decisions worse than others but one see good in his own choices. Waspinator know you understand. You and Rampage befriend one so different and misunderstood yet both serve opposite causes," Waspinator noted remembering Transmutate, feeling like she was. Silverbolt only looked down remembering the sacrifice of his fallen friend.

"I hate to break this up but there still is the matter of analyzing his datatracks...," Dreadwing interrupted realizing last minute what Waspinators interjection was all about, "...provided, of course, you would agree Waspinator." Waspinator smiled and nodded finally feeling at least a little respect.

"I, too, agree with said procedure." Added Obsidian, whom knew his datatracks were necessary as well.

"Any reason why you're willing to trust this guy so easily?" Rattrap glared at Obsidian trying to figure him out.

"I have my reasons, yes, but I cannot share them at this time. Just understand that I have my loyalties in the right place. Whatever your decisions may be I will follow and stand by them," For once Rattrap saw Obsidians words as genuine.

"I think we should focus on getting Cyberwolf and Bountyclaw back before it's too late. Something tells me those that abducted them don't plan on keeping them online for very long," Rhinox stressed to the group feeling this distraction had gone on long enough.

"You needn't worry. I believe a quick death would be too kind a punishment for those two in Scourges optics. He's not fond those who don't pay their debts off on time. The security chief and I have been trying to ochestrate a raid on his casino for sometime but at every attempt he sneaks out at the slightest sign of potential trouble. He's been waiting to wipe those two out for a while. I'm sure he'll be distracted wanting to watch those two die slowly. Perhaps you'd care to join us? You're all quite skillful and I'm sure the security chief would appreciate your assistance," Dreadwings offer was the only legal way they could rescue Bountyclaw and Cyberwolf.

"When do you plan to raid his casino?" Cheetor asked ready to accept the offer.

"Tonight, when his casino will be at its busiest. He'll least expect it then. In the meantime we can analyze Waspinators datatracks and brief you on our plan," Dreadwing explained.

"Can Waspinator come?" Waspinator asked to the surprise of the group.

"Something tells me you'll probably just get in the way. I mean no offense." Silverbolt answered.

"But that not fair! Waspinator not useless!" Waspinator pleaded.

"You know what? Let him come. Something tells me he will be useful," Rattrap said, the group once again surpised. Cheetor thought he almost saw a bit of a smirk.

"We'll discuss this at HQ. For now I say we get you all briefed. Someone should go wake the kid," Dreadwing turned for the door as the others soon followed.

Had a writing set back. I use my Sidekick to do a lot of my writing since it's keypad seems easier and it comfortable from bed (I text a lot). I started writing the last part of this chapter and not long after I started T-Mobile had a major Sidekick outage that saw every Sidekick lose all service except phone and text. I also lost all my data including contacts, reminders, pictures, and notes (Where I keep my stories). Usually when this happens my phone updates not long after and it all returns. Not this time. The service has been down for 4 days now and while my internet has returned, nothing else. I don't know if my notes will ever return or not (It was all stored on the Danger servers which is the problem). If not I'm gonna have to rewrite the next part as well as a lot of Cyberwolfs and Bountyclaws backstory which I had written most of for one chapter before deciding to pace it out. Also lost all my notes on my Chronicles fanfic. Hopefully, I'll get all my data back, but if not I might not update for a while.
