The Return of the Wreckers is a story that I hope to start putting out soon, particularly part one. It's a story of the dirtiest and most lethal Autobot squad doing what they do best, going on one of the most dangerous missions ever undertaken. But in the mean time, here's a Synopsis of part 1, and a roll call for the cast.

    Roll Call
    The Wreckers
Springer: Now leader of the Wreckers, he has been broken by the events that killed most of the last iteration of Wreckers. He is forced back into action by the attack on the Thinkbox, and needs to lead his new team into battle, despite his concerns that the team is put together only to die in the most dire circumstances.

Roadbuster: One of the 3 surviving Wreckers of the 17th iteration of the Wreckers, like Springer he was broken by the death of his teammates, having returned to his addiction Syk. He was the muscle of the last group, and feels unappreciated due to the arrival of new heavyweights including Pyro and Broadside.

Topspin: The Wreckers debonair sniper, he has been furiously trying to help Springer and Roadbuster reconnect with their shipmates on the Xanthium. Despite grieving for the death of his brother Twintwist, he is the only survivor of It 17 who has been conversing with the other Autobots.

Kup: Kup is one of the oldest Autobots, and thus is the elder of the team. He is the captain of Xanthium, and has joined the Wreckers to help Springer lead them to victory. Always read with a story to tell, he thinks he's seen everything the war can throw at him.

Goldbug: Young and enthusiastic, Goldbug is everything the Wrecker aren't. He has been drafted in by Optimus to get the Wreckers to think more humanly, and to try and make the Wreckers complete their mission with minimal brutality. While he tries his best, he isn't opposed to fighting if the situation absolutely calls for it.

Pyro: A gentle giant, Pyro is the only Autobot Obliterator, designed for single handedly taking out frigates and small outposts. Fascinated by the smaller species, he will put his life on the line for any of his teammates, dreaming of being like his hero Optimus.

Broadside: Having been out of action since his arrival on Earth, Broadside has been waiting to get back into the action. Having been rebuilt in a Cybertronian-sized Triple Changer body, he has been inducted into the Wreckers for his newfound power.

Leadfoot: Young and brash, Leadfoot is a massive fan of the Wreckers and has been inducted in for his twister-generating outlier abilities. He idolises his new leader, unaware of his tragic past and the low survival rate of the squad he is now joining.

Deftwing: A former member of the Lightformer Brigade, he has been brought into the Wreckers due to his weapons knowledge. Deftwing is often silent, hoping to find his brother Ironfist alive amongst the chaos on Nebulos.

Scoria: A fire obsessed Autobot and light hearted fellow, Scoria is always up for some banter, despite annoying his teammates and touching upon the sensitive areas. Despite this, he values his fellow Wreckers and will fight alongside them in the hellhole they are entering.

Dogfight: A triggerhappy maniac and all-around nutjob, Dogfight is in the game to shoot as many Decepticons as possible. He aims to get more kills than his fellow Triggerbots Backstreet and Override. Despite his annoying nature, he fears isolation and would rather stick with his team rather than be left alone.

Skyhammer: Skyhammer is a firm believer that people must learn things for themselves, and will not give them any help or advice. Being the only new member to truly understand how dangerous being a Wrecker is, his beliefs do not help his teammates.

    Other Autobots
Ultra Magnus: Second in Command of the Autobots and Kup's first mate, Magnus is a stern by-the-book leader and, like Goldbug, has a distaste to the Wreckers methods, but finds them sometimes necessary. He acts as a liaison between the Wreckers and High Command.

Ironfist: Ironfist is the chief engineer at the Thinkbox on Nebulos, and brother to Deftwing. Ironfist is prone to involuntary shut down, and is the genius behind the Headmaster program. Despite this, he feels under appreciated and hates how everyone knows him for inventing some of the most destructive weapons of the war.

    Nebulons
Hi-Q: Nebulon chief for the Thinkbox and Ironfist's closest friend, Hi-Q is one of the few Nebulons who supports the Autobot/Nebulon alliance, and works hard with his friend to perfect the Headmaster program.

    Predators
Skyquake: Skyquake is one of Megatron's generals and leads the Predator forces to take Nebulos and the Thinkbox. Known for being an intuitive leader, he will fight anyway, whether on the ground, in the air or aboard his command ship the Planet Cleaver. He also personally leads the Alpha Team of the Predators.

Stalker: Second in command of the Predators, and the only ground based member of Alpha Team, Stalker is a sadist who loves to torture any surviving Autobots to pass the time and provide enjoyment to his fellow Predators.

Snare: Part of the Alpha Team, Snare has been fighting since the start of the war and works closely with his Conjunx Endura Skydive. The two share a firm love of the old weapons from the start of the war, but is disgusted by what Stalker classifies as entertainment.

Skydive: Another member of Alpha Team and Conjunx Endura to Snare, Skydive cares very much for his partner and would put his life on the line for him. Skydive is fond of the older guns of the war, and plans to collect and exhibit them when the war ends.

Falcon: The Alpha Team's eye in the sky, Falcon utilises Divebomb Crashers Systems which allows to slice Autobots up using the energy built up from diving, and also use it to power his weapons. He spends most of his time with Talon, helping him to cope with his deafness.

Talon: Deaf from one of the earlier battle of the wars, Talon has to rely on his teammate Falcon to sign words for him, and is being helped to learn binary as an alternative. Despite this, he has still made the Alpha Team, and fights alongside his team in the fray.

Deadpan: Triple Changer and all-round brute, Deadpan dishes out strong attacks to Autobots, and has earned his place as Skyquake's strongest soldier. He craves destruction, and would rather see the Thinkbox destroyed.

But now, with the fall of Nebulos and the Thinkbox, he's called into action once again, and, with help from fellow surviving Wreckers Topspin and Roadbuster, as well as new members Kup and Goldbug, lead a team of new Wreckers to retake the planet alone.

    The Return of the Wreckers
    Part 1
    Nebulon, 20 Years Ago
“Ironfist, our test subjects for the AI/DR units have returned” said a small figure, standing in the doorway of Ironfist’s lab.
“Test Subject? I’ll have you know I was as much a part of designing and creating these as you or him Hi-Q” scolded Brainstorm. “And use the proper name for it.”
Hi-Q sighed. Of all the members of the Autobot team that had arrived, Brainstorm was certainly the most arrogant of the lot. “Fine, our test subjects and the co-creator of the ‘Headmasters’ have returned. Ironfist?”
Ironfist was busy tinkering away with his multi-tech tool, with the onlookers only being able to hazard a guess as to what he was working on. “Oy, Bullethead, you gonna greet your guests or are we gonna be stuck here for the next 20 cycles?” shouted Hardhead.
“You invent a few weapons, and suddenly you’re the Autobot’s most well known weapons engineer” said Ironfist. “I’m not Brainstorm, I don’t just do guns.”
“I refute that accusation, and further more I have created other non-gun shaped masterpieces” Brainstorm angrily replied.
    “Like?”
“Well that’s not fair, you’ve put me on the spot.”
“Whatever. Chromedome, is Stylor still quiet, or is he talking now?”
“He’s much better, can finally hear him” said Chromedome. “Can I just say, I like the voice you picked out.”
“Yeah, I think if this is gonna work the AI needs to be someone you can get on with, not a dull, monotone drone. Better communication, you know what I mean.”
“Guys, got some bad news” said Clampdown, entering the lab. “You guys are needed on the frontline on Fero V. Hyperdrive’s forces are being battered and we’re the nearest support they’ve got.”
    “By what about our work.”
“Don’t worry, we’ll leave you with Nightbeat, Hosehead and Loudmouth.”
“Siren” corrected Brainstorm. “ Not Loudmouth”.
“Whatever, we’ll also leave you with a security detachment, but it looks like your clear of Decepti-chumps.”

    Present Day
“DECEPTICONS, LAY WASTE TO THEIR DEFENCES” shouted Skyquake, as he led his Predators towards the Autobot base. “DECIMATE THESE USELESS SCRAP HEAPS THEY CALL SOLDIERS!”
“Snare, can you get a clear shot of that turret” said Skydive. “It looks like Stalker’s squad is getting battered by it.”
“Gimme a sec to get into position, and…. BAM!!!” shouted Snare, as the turret exploded. “Gotta love a good old Thermal.”
“Yep, those rocket launcher are the best. Enough of this ‘new age’ scrap, gimme a Thermal Rocket Launcher and a Neutron Assault Rifle, and I’ll taken on the Autobots gladly.”
In the base, Autobots were running around, panicked at how to face these forces. Outside their troops were being slaughtered, and with most of the weapons taken away for the forces helping Hyperdrive they were extremely vunerable. Ironfist ran to the control room from his lab, take a pair of D-6 Pistols and his signature Lightformer Cannon. As Ironfist entered the room, he asked the inevitable question. “How long can we make it for?”
“Well, I hate to say it, but not long” answered Clasp. “Commander, I think we should call the troops back, let the turrets buy what little time we need and hit the panic bubble.”
“Give the order Clasp” replied Fallback.

    The Xanthium
“We lost contact with them 2 hours ago” said Ultra Magnus. “As far as we know, they’re siege by General Skyquake and his Predator Forces. Kup, I hate to say it but I think it’s too late to send a full-scale attack on them.”
“Look Magnus, I know you don’t like the idea but we haven’t got a choice” Kup solemnly replied. “We nee-“
“YOUR SLAG RIGHT I DON’T LIKE THE IDEA” Magnus shouted in response. “Sorry. We can’t send them in.”
    “Gimme one reason why not!”
“I can think of several! One, there are only 3 wreckers alive that are still Autobots. Two, of the remaining wreckers Springer has not come out of his hab suite since Ringar Phi, and Roadbuster is back onto Syk. Only Topspin is active. Three, you cannot expect them to liberate Nebulon single handedly.”
“Ah, that’s where I got somethin’. I’ve made a list of possible bots to fill in to the team. Here.”
“Hmm, maybe. No. No. Perhaps. No. No. ATOMIZER? You put Atomizer on the list?”
    “Yeah, what’s wrong with it?”
“What’s wrong is he cannot be trusted at all, he’s a liability to you. Sure he’s no con, but the guy loves messing with people. And you cannot let him near a crossbow.”
“What? I thought it was guy with the face plate that doubles up as a throwing star. Has a A-4 pulsar cannon on him at all times. Only one arm.”
“Wha-Oh, that’s Atommaster. Anyway, no. Yes. No. Perhaps. Yes. No. No. Yes. Yes. Yes. Definitely Not. Yes. Yes. No. Yes. Yes. Yes. No. No. No. Yes. Put it to a vote IF you can get Springer and Roadbuster back in the team.”
“Roadbuster shouldn’t be hard, but it’ll be a trial to get Springer out of his room.”
“Urgh, if you can get Roadbuster in, then fine. I’ll have a word with Prime.”

    10 Minutes Later
“Springer, you there” said Kup as he and Topspin approached Springer’s hab suite. “We want to talk. We need the Wreckers back into the fray.”
No reply. Kup knocked. Still nothing. “Kid, we’ll be in the briefing room. 20 minutes.”
Kup started walking off, only to be stopped by Topspin. “We can’t let him sit it their forever Kup” Topspin said worriedly.
“Kid, if he doesn’t wanna be part of my mission then fine. Let him stay holed up in there.”
“This isn’t about the Wreckers, or the mission. This is about helping him” replied Topspin, as Kup started walking off again. “WE CAN’T JUST FORGET ABOUT HIM!” Topspin slammed his fist against the door, sinking down and sitting against it. “We can’t forget about him…”

    Meeting Room 2C
Kup, Roadbuster and Topspin sat round a table. All 3 of them were silent, anticipating the worst from Springer. The door opened. They all turned around Optimus, Magnus and Goldbug entered. Goldbug and Magnus sat down, and Optimus stood at an empty seat. Then Prime spoke. “I have decided to sanction this mission. We cannot allow our fellow Autobots to suffer any longer, and the Decepticons must not be able to obtain any more details on Headmaster systems, particularly after the Zarak and Scorponok incident. However there will be a condition. Goldbug will be joining your mission, and reporting directly to me. He will be informing me if you step too far out of line. Now Kup, have you informed me of your decisions of the new team members.”
“As you know, Roadbuster, Topspin, Magnus and I have voted on the most suitable candidates available for this mission. So firstly…” said Kup, turning on the Holoprojector in the centre of the table “we have Pyro. Pyro is the one of the Obliterators, and will be a huge asset to our mission. As you know Obliterators can take out frigates and outposts, so is an obvious candidate.” Kup switched over to the next candidate. “Next is Broadside. He’s been outfitted with a triple changer body, and he has knowledge on the antics of the Predators.” He pressed the button again. “Leadfoot is an outlier, who is able to generate whirlwinds. Deftwing is a former member of the Lightformer Brigade, and still has his Lightformer Cannon. He will be our weapons expert, and he has a bit of knowledge on the facility itself. Scoria is a Firetrooper, and will be one of pilots bringing us down. Dogfight will be our other pilot, and being a Triggerbot will be able to put sufficient pressure on the enemy. Finally Skyhammer is another great fighter, and his personal drone will allow us to get an aerial view of the facility during the operation. Any questions?”
Before any of the Autobots could answer, the door slid open. A familiar face greeted them. “Springer!?!?” said Topspin excitedly.
“I got one” Springer said. “When do we start?”

    The Trialba Wastelands, Nebulos
The winds howled across the wasteland. Two hooded Nebulons carried on regardless. Sand flew everywhere.
“Maybe we should go back” one said. “We cannot expect them to survive.”
“ARE YOU INSANCE” the other responded shocked. “THEY’LL SLAUGHTER US! Besides hopefully they’ll have hit the pani-“
    KRAAAASSSSSSHHHHH
A ship crashed in front of them. The two Nebulons stared into the crate. But they didn’t see the ship within the crater. Instead they saw an armoured truck. The truck then transformed into a wolf, and proceeded to climb the sides of the crater. It leapt up at the top and landed behind the two. As they turned around, it transformed into a large robot and pointed its gun at them. As it began to charge, the robot spoke. “You two are disgusting, abominations and affronts to Primus. Plus my boss doesn’t like organics anyway. So I’ll kill ya, decimate that base over there and show you the meaning of a class 10 threat.”
    CHOOOOOOOOM

    TROTW P2 Synopsis
Wreckers United! With Springer having returned, he and Kup lead the Wreckers into the hellhole that is Nebulos. As the action kicks into gear, they enter the planet, but will everyone even make the trip there? Faced with a large force Decepticons and unseen forces, will they succeed, despite the impossible odds?

    Part 2
    The Archetype, Approaching Nebulos
Kup welcomed the new recruits to the ship with firm handshake. He lead them all into the control room where they were greeted by Goldbug and the veteran wreckers. “This’ll be brief lads, we gotta get into action ASAP” he said. “Our aim is to liberate Nebulos and protect the research and natives down there.”
“Piece of Tin” whispered Scoria to Leadfoot.
“Can it hot shot. Springer you wanna explain the plan?”
“Thanks Kup” replied Springer. “Are first job is getting down to the surface. From there we can evac the guys down there and retrieve and delete all data before the cons can get it. However, the cons have a fleet of ships around the tactic. Seeing as it’ll only be use, we won’t be able to fight that blockade, ergo we go with a different method. You may have noticed this a CC-1 Infiltrator. We’ll take this ship and let the blockade tear it apart. When it’s down we’ll let ship do what it designed to, being to split apart and crash down to the surface. From there we’ll take 2 Dropships coated with a stealth alloy to hide amongst the debris and land on the surface. Scoria, you will pilot one dropship, and Dogfight will pilot the other. There’ll be 2 teams. Deftwing, Roadbuster, Dogfight, Skyhammer and Leadfoot, you’ll be with me. Goldbug, Scoria, Topspin, Pyro and Broadside, you’re with Kup. When we land we’ll have to hit the ground rolling and get to the facility as fast as we can, cos it’ll be the only cover we have. Remember don’t get cocky, in the Wreckers your first day can be your last, so be prepared to go down with a brave face. Kup, anything else to add?”
“Yeah, one thing. Remember we have minimal intel on which forces are actually down there. Based on the blockade it appears to be General Skyquake and is predators, but scans showed a U.F.O. crashing on the opposite side of the planet during the beginning of the attack. Alright lads, I’ll see ya in the hanger.”

    50 Minutes From Nebulos
“Good briefing” said Magnus to Springer as he left the room. “You think you’ll be OK.”
“I’m sure the team will pull through” Springer replied. “We always do.”
“We both know I wasn’t referring to the team.”
“I’ll be fine sir. I assume you’ll be off now.”
“Sorry, Prime wants me on the Xanthium to continue captaining the ship while Kup’s on this mission. Those Metrotitan’s aren’t gonna find themselves, otherwise I’d be right there with you. Besides, Rook’s been messaging for the past few Nano-Cycles, he’s getting bored in my shuttle.”
“Naturally. Rooks was never good at waiting, always itching to do something.”
“Yep, wouldn’t surprise me if he snuck away with you. Loves the heroics.” Magnus paused. “Springer Good Luck, and just in case you don’t come back…”
Magnus Saluted Springer. “I’ll be back sir. Happy hunting.”

    30 Minutes from Nebulos
Deftwing, Topspin, Scoria, Leadfoot and Skyhammer sat around table, each one drinking what may possibly be their cup of energon. Skyhammer then broke the silence. “So how do you think the guys are coping down at the... what was it called? Brainbox? Techbox?”
“Thinkbox” answered Topspin. “I’m sure they’ll be fine, buddy of mine is down there, heck of a fighter.”
“Well, as long as those nerds know there way around a gun they’ll be fine. That being said, they’re probably scared out of there processors, praying to Primus or the Allspark.”
The room went silent. Topspin glared at Scoria, while Skyhammer and Leadfoot shared uneasy glances. Deftwing stormed out of the room, looking away from Scoria as he did. Topspin then stood up. “Real classy Scor” he said, as he went after Deftwing.
“What did I say?” asked Scoria. “I was only joking.”
“Deftwings spark-brother is down there. Ironfist. The lead engineer” answered Skyhammer.
    “Oh…”

    20 Minutes from Nebulos
Goldbug saw off Magnus as he left. Magnus entered the cockpit of his shuttle and sat down next to Rook. “How did it go boss?” asked Rook.
“Well, it looks promising, as long as Springer can keep it together. I think Kup made the right choices for his team.”
“Still reckon I could help boss” Rook said as he activated the ships engines and started steering it out of the hangar.
“Rook, for the last time, your one of my best soldiers, as well officers back on Cybertron before the war, even when I Minimus Major, now Ultra Magnus. You’re a great asset and I’m sure you would be to them, but right now I need you at my side, helping us track are our lost brothers and sisters out there.”
Outside, Goldbug watched the shuttle as it left, to then be greeted by Pyro.
“Hey Big Bee, how you doin’?” asked Pyro.
“Good than- Wait your that Pyro? The one who fought with me on Telfor and Pova. Hell of a long time. You’ve got taller.”
    “So have you Big Bee.”
“Yeah, not as much as you have. You used to be the same size as me back before my upgrade for this mission. Now you make even Magnus look short. Oh and it’s Goldbug now.”
“Name change, huh? Gonna have to think of a new nickname for ya? I’ll stick with Goldy for now. Anyway the body change is cos of the Obliterator program. You remember that?”
“Oh yeah, back when both sides were building soldiers to take out entire Frigates and Outposts. The major tanks before we got Class 10 threats. How come you were chosen?”
“Spark type, only the Argentum-Negative spark type can take the enhancements. I happen to be that type, so that’s why I look like this.”
“Heh. If we make it through this we’re gonna have to catch up over a drink big guy.”
    “Sure are Goldy.”

    10 Minutes from Nebulos
The intercom crackled to life as Kup turned it on.
“All bots to your positions. This is the real thing, so you guys better be ready for it.”

    Above Nebulos
The 2 teams sat in their dropships. In one, Scoria looked nervously from his seat in the cockpit towards Topspin, who was clearly still angry with what he said and ignoring him. Goldbug and Pyro looked at each other, while Broadside sat silently as Kup made some last minute checks. In the other Springer was trying to stop Dogfight, who was twitchy over the guns, while the other four bots in the ship sat silently. Kup radioed Springer. “You lads ready for launch?”
    “Ready and waiting” replied Springer.
“Right then, brave faces everyone. This is it.”
As The Archtype dropped out of its last Quantum Jump, it was immediately besieged by a huge barrage of firepower. Aboard the bridge of the enemy ship, Calcar was busy shouting orders to crew. Meanwhile, less pre-occupied by the commands his co-commander was giving, Blitz contacted Skyquake on the surface. “General Skyquake, an Autobots ship has Quantum Jumped within our vicinity. Calcar has already engaged, but scans do not show any Autobots on board. There are blips in the bridge that may be troops, but that appears to be all. Should we wipe the ship out with the Mk II Hydra Cannon sir?”
“No, we know that this is clearly not enough to take down our blockade. Stick to standard weapons, we’ll save the Hydra for when the actual fleet arrives. And send down the Skyscorchers. Snare and Skydive have informed me that a turret that is causing us problems is out of their scope. I will send co-ordinates now.”
“What’s the news Blitz?” said Calcar.
“Continue firing with standard turrets, do not use the Hydra Cannon” replied Blitz.
Slowly the Autobot Ship was torn apart, until a single shot streaked right through the ship striking the engines. Slowly the chunks of the ship began to drift off, with small thruster manoeuvring them towards the planet. At that moment the 2 Autobot ships came to life, darting through the debris of the Archetype.
The blockade was unaware of their presence, and the Autobots had the element of surprise. That was until a keen eye Decepticon looked closely at the chunks of ship and informed his commander. The barrage of laser fire was soon redirected towards the 2 dropships, as both ships began to enter the atmosphere. Then a stray shot struck Springer’s ship, sending it spiralling it out of control.
The 2 ships could soon see the ground ahead as they hurtled towards it, and it was not a pretty site. Dozens of dead Autobots, hundreds more Decepticons swarming the ground, and each one of theme pointing their guns at them. A gunfire consumed the skies, all Kup’s team could do was pull away as the other went plummeting right into the middle of the Predators. Unfortunately, Kup’s dropship was soon struck by a blast, sending it hurtling right over the Thinkbox to the other side.
Springer scrambled out of the wreckage of the dropship, and helped Roadbuster out. “We all make it?” he weakly asked.
“We’re here” said Deftwing as he crawled out of the wreckage with Leadfoot. “What about the other 2?”
“I’m okay” called Skyhammer. The movement of metal could be heard inside. “Sadly the same can’t be said about Dogfight. Looks like the poor guy died on impact.”
“Great…” said Springer glumly. “We’ve already lost one of team. We’ve also lost comms and we’re in the middle of the Predators. What next?”
“What’s next…” said Stalker “Is we beat you down, tear you up and recycle your worthless bodies for entertainment.”

    TROTW P3 Synopsis
"I've seen it all. I've seen good men die right in front of me, I've seen my teammates- no, my FRIENDS fall right there in the fray. I've been hurt more than you could ever imagine, and I thought nothing could hurt as much as right now. And you know what? I was wrong..." - Springer

    Part 3
    Ringar Phi, 8 Months Ago

Three Autobots ships approached the ring shaped station that circled the planet. In one of the hangers, Rodimus, Kup and Cerebros were briefing the forces on the mission ahead of them. Rodimus activated a large hologram of the planet and the station surrounding it, then began to speak. “Alright boys, this is one hell of a scrapheap we’ll be entering. As you all know, Station Sigma-Alpha, located around Rinar-“
    “Ringar” Cerbros corrected him.
“Thanks Cerebros. Anyway, as you all know the station around RINGAR Phi is one of the major supply depots for our forces, and from what Sprocket says, and old map that could make tracking the colony worlds easier. So here’s the plan, we’ll split into three major forces and pull the ships above the station at different points. Kup, you’ll take the Xanthium here.” Rodimus pointed to an area of the station flanked by energon silos. “That’s one of our major targets. If we can take this point, we’ll be able to cut off the cons from our supplies, and, if we have to fall back, take some of the supplies that are rightfully ours. At the same time, Cerebros’ forces will take the Steelhaven to this point.” Rodimus pointed to another area of the station, this time with a large closed hatch above. “This is area is where the armoury and larger hangers are. We need to recapture that as quickly as possible, as while we don’t know any exact details on what’s in there, we do know that among the ships they have on there are Diamond Darts and Comets, and more importantly they have access to Class 3 Ruination Tanks.”
“Thank god they moved the experimental Class 4s to another location” whispered Hardshot to Wing Sabre. “Otherwise we would be slagged.”
“Finally” said Rodimus, as he pointed to a part of the station, with what appeared to be a Decepticon cruiser protected by several frigates. “My team will be taking the Lost Light to this section to fend off the ships they brought with them. We can’t let the other 3 teams be interfered while they carry out their objectives.”
“2 teams you mean Hot Rod” whispered Kup to Rodimus.
“Right, yes, 2 teams. You know what I mean.” Rodimus sighed in relief. “ Thanks for calling me out old timer” he whispered. “And stop calling me Hot Rod. You know I don’t like it anymore.”
“Well don’t mess up your words anymore. You don’t wanna let the other team’s jobs out unless they succeed.”
“Anyway, good luck, and I hope to have a pint of Engex with you guys when we’re done.”
As the troops filed out of the hanger, Cerebros, Kup and Rodimus left and walked into a small room. In it, Drift was sat down sharpening his sword, Perceptor was standing by the door reading datalogs while around a table in the centre of the room sat Impactor, Springer, Topspin, Twintwist, Whirl, Guzzle, Roadbuster and Rack’N’Ruin.
Rodimus turned on the same holographic map as in the hanger, and gathered everyone around. “Okay, this is the gritty stuff. You guys have the toughest mission out of everyone, and you need to be ready for it.” He pressed a button and a section of the map was highlighted. “You guys have 2 missions. The people out there think we’ll be able to take this place easily, but I have reservations. That’s why your first objective is to capture that map at all costs, even if we do end up taking the base. We need the map and we can’t have the cons knowing where the Titans and their respective colony worlds are, especially after they already took Trypticon, and made him a part of their forces. That map is located here” he said, pointing to a small command hub on the far side. “Your second objective, should we not be able to capture the base, is to detonated the station. I will inform you if that is necessary, and only use it as a last resort. We’ll carry you to the point of access, and provide you with both the route to take, and the Axiom to get down there and leave when necessary. Ok, good luck.”

    Springer’s Team, Nebulos, Present Day
Springer was looking straight down Stalker’s gun barrel. He knew that one wrong move and his Processor would be splattered all over his teammates. As far as he knew Roadbuster, Deftwing and Leadfoot were all in the same position as him, Dogfight was a grey energon covered mess in the cockpit and Skyhammer was trapped in the dropship.
“Any last words Autobot?” asked Stalker, as he and his troops removed the team’s weapons and turned Springer around, keeping his gun trained on Springer’s head.
Springer glanced at the ship. “Yeah just one” he replied. “Boom!”
“Boom? What sort of a last word is tha-AARRGGGGHHHH!!!”
A laser struck Stalker’s shoulder, cutting his arm clean off. A second laser then struck the side of his head, shredding some of the metal off and cracking his visor. Quickly, Springer spun around, deploying his small arm blasters and shooting the Decepticons holding his teammates at gunpoint. The other 3 quickly sprung into action, with Deftwing and Leadfoot picking up their weapons, while Roadbuster tore the arms off a Decepticon on and beat him with them. Another Decepticon leapt onto Springer’s back, trying to get a shot at the Autobot’s head. Just as the Decepticon was getting his gun in line, a third laser blast hit him, blasting his head clean off. “Yeesh” said Springer, pulling the corpse off of himself. “Cutting it a bit close aren’t you?”
“Sorry Springer” said Skyhammer, holding his blaster in one hand and one of Dogfight’s arm cannons. “They pack quite the shot, but they’re pretty difficult to hold. Should be thankful there was enough juice in them for those shots, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to hit Stalker with em.”
“Well I guess. Can you get us an aerial view of the area?”
“No, it got totalled in the crash.”
“Damn, there goes an idea of the area.”
“Well the base is thataway, right behind that batch of Decepticons, and I’ve eyed at least 2 turrets that will start shooting at us soon we get closer.”
“Typical Wrecker mission. Leadfoot, think you can clear us a path?”
“Sure can boss!” Leadfoot enthusiastically said. He immediately set to work, generating a small tornado straight towards the objective, tearing through Decepticons as it went.
    “Right then, Wreckers, PUSH FORWARD!”

Kup’s Team, Opposite Side of the Thinkbox
“We all accounted for lads?” asked Kup, climbing out of his half of the sip. “Cos I got Topspin.”
“Yeah, Pyro and Broadside are trying to get Scoria out of the cockpit. Broadside thinks Scoria’s right leg is crippled, so we can’t get moving fast. Plus the ships split in half, so we’re not using that anytime soon” replied Goldbug.
“And we’re out. You okay Scor?” Broadside asked Scoria as he and Pyro hauled him out of the wreckage.”
“Yeah” answer Scoria. “Hey, why is it so quiet?”
“Looks like Springer’s causing a lot of ruckus over there. All turrets are pointing in the direction of where they crashed, and looks like their forces are too caught up to come check on u-Gargh!” Kup was cut off by a blast of energy, sending him flying against the side of the ship.
A group of four jets circled around them, then landed in front of them, all four transforming into robot mode. “Lookey here Windrazor, a dumb little squad of Autobots who have no idea what they’re about to go up against” said one of them.
“Can it Terradive” said Windrazor. “ Now then, Snipe, Eagle Eyes, Terradive, take your pick.”
Terradive immediately charged at Topspin, while Broadside, Windrazor and Scoria took to the sky in a dogfight. Pyro and Goldbug double teamed Eagle Eyes. Kup attempted to get back up, only to narrowly avoid a punch to the face at the hands of Snipe. “What’s the matter Afterburner?” taunted Kup, as he got back to his feet. “Too slow even for this old timer?”
“Shut up, Rusty!” Snipe snapped back, punching Kup right in the gut. “It’s Snipe now, and you know it!”
Goldbug and Pyro managed to bring down Eagle Eyes, who attempted to get back, only to be knocked out by Broadside throwing Wingrazor down at him. Topspin also kicked Terradive straight in the head, knocking him immediately out. As Snipe got dangerously close to impaling Kup with his sword, the old wrecker placed his hand over Snipe’s head and pulled. Snipe’s head was straight off, pulling out several wires and part of his endoskeleton’s spine out with it as Energon and various other fluids spewed everywhere. Kup dropped Snipe’s head on the floor as he got up for a second time. “Never liked that guy to being with” he said, wiping Energon off of his face.
“WHAT THE SCRAP KUP?!” shouted Goldbug. “YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO INCAPACITATE HIM, NOT KILL HIM!!”
“Kid the two ain’t mutually exclusive. Besides, you gotta learn that sometimes you got no other choice. Anyway, we’re all accounted for, and the route’s clear, so let’s get movin’.”
Scoria dropped to the ground when he transformed, unable to use his legs. Broadside picked him up, and the six Autobots moved towards the rear entrance of the Thinkbox, not knowing that they were being watched from afar. They opened the door, to see a large number of Decepticons surrounding the panic bubbled hub of the base. “Well Scrap” said Kup, as he and the other Wreckers drew their weapons.

    Springer’s Team
“Well Scrap” said Springer, as Skyquake charged across the battlefield towards him. Both soldiers drew their sword, and with a clash of steel started duelling. Above them a frigate started to descend and open fire at the squad of Autobots. Leadfoot and Deftwing had split off to try and come at another angle, tearing through the Decepticons. Skyhammer and Roadbuster were meanwhile pinned down behind the wreckage of a nearby turret, surrounded by Decepticons and suffering a huge barrage of fire from a heavily fortified ridge. “Slaggit, fire’s too heavy. We got the cons surrounding us, this makeshift fortification won’t last long against the weapons they’re firing from the ridge and that ship looks like it’s gonna make Lead and Deft into a mess of scrap and fluid” Roadbuster said to Skyhammer.
“I thought you were used to this, I thought you’d been through the run!” Skyhammer shouted back.
“Yeah, that doesn’t mean we don’t notice how impossible the odds are. The cons are everywhere, on the ground, on the ridge in the sky. If only we had the same air support they did.”
“Roadbuster you are a fraggin’ genius.”
With that, Skyhammer transformed and flew off into the air. “THE UNDERSPARK YOU GOING SKY?” Roadbuster shouted furiously at him. “Don’t leave me to face them alone…”
With that the battle slowly tided over to the Decepticons. Skyquake bested Springer in his duel, while a sharp shot from Snare felled Deftwing, with Leadfoot being brought to the ground by high gunfire. Roadbuster attempted to fight back, only to be knocked back by Deadpan. “Well, well, well” said Deadpan. “If it isn’t lil’ old Roadbuster.”
“GRAARGH!!” Roadbuster charged at Deadpan, only to be tripped over. Deadpan transformed into a tank as the Autobot tried to get back, and shot him in the face at point-blank range. The shot tore off Roadbuster’s visor and lower face, exposing his endoskeleton face beneath. Roadbuster attempted to get up again, only to have Deadpan put his foot on the Autobot’s head. “Persistent Autobot, aren’t you?” said Deadpan “If I had my way, I’d put a blaster bolt through your processor right where you lie. But unfortunately Skyquake may have other plans, so I’ll have wait on that first.”
The four Autobots were gathered together by the Predators. “What do we do with them then?” signed Talon.
“He’s deaf though, Bore, not mute” whispered Wingblazer to Borehole.
“I dunno why he does it, go ask him Blazy” replied Borehole.
“Quiet you two” Skyquake said. “Now, we execute them” he signed to Talon. “Line them up. Talon, Falcon, Stalker, Deadpan, pick your Autobots.”
The four Predators each stood behind an Autobot. Stalker was behind Springer, Deadpan behind Roadbuster, Talon behind Deftwing and Falcon behind Leadfoot. “Ready!” shouted Skyquake. The four Decepticons prepped their next shot. “Aim!” The four Decepticons pointed their guns at the back of the Autobots heads. “FIRE!!!”

Ringar Phi, 8 Months Ago, Springer’s Team
Springer awoke finding himself with hands chained to the floor. Last he knew he’d been knocked out by Scorponok. He looked to his left. Whirl, Guzzle, Rack’N’Ruin and Topspin were chained just like him and on their knees. He had no idea where Impactor’s team were. He looked ahead and saw what appeared to be a makeshift arena, with a group of Cyberraptor within tearing apart one of the few remaining Autobots that were stationed there. Before he could speak, Scorponok silently approached him from behind, releasing his chains and kicking him in…

    Part 4
    Ringar Phi, 8 Months Ago
Springer landed with a crash at the bottom of the pit with a crash. He glanced upwards to see Rack’n’Ruin, Topspin and Whirl tied up above, and witnessed Guzzle come crashing down besides him. Whirl was signalling upwards and deployed his in built electroclaws, while an electric fields covered the top of the pit, preventing escape. Looking ahead of him he saw the Cyberraptors had gotten bored of the other Autobot, who was grey and leaking energon everywhere, and turned on himself and Guzzle. The two Autobots reached for their weapons, only to find them missing. Without a moments hesitation Guzzle transformed into tank mode and blasted one of the raptors in the face. The other raptors turned their attention to him and leapt on him as he tried blasting them. Guzzle put up a brave fight, but only last a few seconds before he was completely overwhelmed. Springer could only watch in horror as the raptors tore Guzzle apart, ripping off his tank barrel and the cylinders out of his treads. Guzzle attempted to transform, but that only made things worse as the raptors ripped him to pieces, limb by limb, until head came rolling towards Springer’s feet. The raptors then redirected their attention to Springer, spitting out what remained of Guzzle’s spark and transformation cog.
Satisfied with the viscous nature of the raptors and how efficient they were, Scorponok deactivated the electric field and kicked Topspin in, followed by Rack’n’Ruin. Just as it was about to become Whirl’s turn, Whirl nodded at his fellow Wreckers. Scorponok stopped, confused at Whirl’s actions.
“Seeya in hell Scorponok” said Whirl. He dug his electroclaws deep into an exposed wire on the ground as Springer and Topspin leapt up and transformed. Rack’n’Ruin grabbed onto the hooked onto their sides and the was lifted off the ground by his fellow wreckers. Ground lit up with electricity. Scorponok, Whirl, the Cyberraptor and Decepticon soldiers were filled with and immense pain. One by one, the guards heads exploded, soon followed by Whirl’s and the Cyberraptors. As Scorponok shook in pain, his head transformed. Now in robot mode, Zarak, leapt from the writhing body of Scorponok and climbed into the ventilation above. The electricity died down, and as Scorponok’s headless body collapsed to the floor, Rack’n’Ruin landed on the edge of the pit as Topspin and Springer transformed either side of him. The three took a moment to respect their 2 dead teammates, and proceeded out the door to find the central hub.

    Outside the Thinkbox, Present Day
    KAACHOOOOOOM
The 4 Decepticons preparing to execute the Autobots were knocked aside by a blast from above. Springer turned around and grabbed Stalker’s arm, ripping it clean off and hitting him over the head with it. Roadbuster charged straight at Deadpan. He ripped off Deadpan’s tank barrel and smashed him in the leg with it. Taking the opportunity, he grabbed Deadpan’s face. “An eye for an eye slag heap, and a face for a face” he said as he pulled, ripping Deadbeat’s face off.
As Deftwing and Leadfoot took on Talon and Falcon, Springer looked up to try and see where the blast had come from, to see that the Decepticon frigate was now open firing on its own ground troops. “This is Air Skyhammer at your service” Skyhammer’s voice crackled over the Wrecker’s comm channel. “How may I be of service?”
“Ha ha!” said Springer gleefully. “Hammer, take out that ridge. Roadbuster, Deftwing, Leadfoot, give us breathing space. I’m going for Skyquake.”
Springer grabbed his Katana from Stalker’s unconscious body and charged at Skyquake. The two clashed swords once again as Wreckers and Predators fought against one another.

Kup’s Team, Rear Entrance of The Thinkbox
On the other side of the facility, Kup’s team was swarmed by Decepticon after Decepticon. “Back up into the corridor on the right” barked Kup, knowing they couldn’t move forward. “Broadside, take Scoria first!”
Broadside charged down the corridor, gun in one hand and Scoria in the other. “We’re clear boss, and I think there’s an armoury here.”
Topspin soon followed down the corridor, then Goldbug, and soon after Kup and Pyro. The six Autobots managed to reach the armoury and barricade themselves in. “Right then, what have got here?” asked Kup.
“I see some Neutron Assault Rifles, a few Scatter Blasters, 3 or 4 TechVolts and a Scrapmaker. What about you guys?” said Broadside.
“A few Thermal Rocket Launchers, a few Detpacks and Subsonic Repeaters and a Riot Cannon” replied Topspin.
“Why don’t we look in there?” asked Scoria, who was sitting on a crate and pointing at a door at the back hidden behind an empty rack.
Kup and Pyro pulled the rack away from the wall, and Kup tried opening it. “Blast, locked” Kup said.
Pyro punched straight through the door, and pulled it out of the frame. “Not anymore.”
Kup, Pyro and Topspin entered the room. “Well, well, well” said Kup, looking rather pleased with the team’s discovery. “Looks like we may have found where they keep the experimental weapons.”
The walls were covered with weapons that none of the Autobots had ever seen before, ranging from small compact blasters to massive hulking rocket launchers. “Right then, let’s get started.”
Decepticons swarmed the entrance to the armoury. Fearswoop, leading the forces, order some of the troops to cut the door down. Just as 2 Decepticons approached the door, it exploded, killing them and several nearby troops. Pyro and Topspin charged through the door, Pyro wielding a Gatling Rocket Launcher and a Lightning Axe, and Topspin with a Scrapmaker and Twin Burn Swords. The two alone started pushing Decepticons back. Fearswoop attempted to set up his Trakkon cannon, but was frozen in the process by Kup, who was wielding an Immobiliser and Zerox Twin Barrel Plasma Gun. They were soon joined by Broadside, who transformed into his jet mode, large enough to encompass the width of the corridor and knocked down any remaining Decepticons. After clearing out the masses of Decepticons, the 4 found the Stormtroopers- Rage, Aquablast, Drench and Hydradread -attempting to defuse the shield using their various liquids. Rage noticed them first. “Aquablast, Drench hold them off while we try to open this thing up.”

    Springer’s Team
The battle was in full swing as the Wreckers were finally managing to beat back the Decepticons. Skyhammer had decimated the ridge that had been giving them trouble before with the commandeered frigate, Roadbuster had engaged Deadpan in a brawl yet again, Deftwing and Leadfoot were cleaning out the Decepticons around them and Springer’s second duel with Skyquake was in full swing. The two clashed steel furiously, each swipe being met by their opponent’s. Neither could get the upper hand, and when Skyquake attempted to reach for his gun, it was kicked away by Springer. Trying to find a way to get an advantage, Skyquake grappled onto Springer’s leg and transformed, flying him straight into the frigate above them.
Skyhammer was busy directing the ship’s weapons in order to give support to the remaining Wreckers on the surface when he was knocked aside by Skyquake, followed by Springer, who at that moment managed to cut himself loose. Springer landed on the floor of the bridge with a crash. Skyquake attempted to use the moment to finish the Wrecker leader there and then. Just as he was approaching Springer to finish off the Wrecker’s leader Skyhammer leapt onto him, knocking them both against a wall.
And that’s when he felt it. A great pain in his spark. Skyhammer looked down to see Skyquake’s blade sticking into his body. He looked at his hands to find the tips of his fingers had become grey. He was dying. Skyquake removed his blade and kicked the Autobot away. “Your turn” he said to Springer.
Skyquake was about to head over to Springer when he found his arm was stuck to something. He looked back and found that as he had been impaled, Skyhammer had stasis cuffed him to part of the wall. Skyquake violently tried to get his hand out, but to no avail. Just as he was about to use his sword to cut himself free, Springer shot it out of his hand using Skyhammer’s gun, then shot him straight through the transformation cog, preventing him from transforming. Skyquake dropped to his knees, holding his uncuffed hand over his wound. “You think you’ll win by killing me?” he asked Springer. “Knowing Deadpan he’ll just order the troops to obliterate the facility altogether.”
A large explosion rocked the ship. Springer was knocked over, and when he got back up, he checked the monitor. One of their engines had been destroyed and the ship was slowly losing altitude. “Springer” said Skyhammer weakly, bleeding energon through his wound. “Get outta here.”
    “But I can’t just le-“
“Springer, that is not a request, that is an order. I can handle things up here.”
“But you’re dying, you won’t be able to land the ship.”
“I now, but I can do a load damage to the cons and make a lot of noise. Isn’t it what we do. Make a noise and die in stupid, pointless yet heroic ways.”
Springer knelt down next to Skyhammer and put his hand on his shoulder. “You were great Wrecker. It may have been official for only a few days, but for me and the others, you were a fantastic Wrecker all your life and we will never forget you.”
Skyhammer gave a weak salute, and as Springer transformed into his helicopter mode and flew out to continue fighting, Skyhammer clambered up to the controls of the frigate. He started tinkering with the ship’s controls. He knew it was going to crash, but he was going to make the most of it. He managed to redirect the ship so it came crashing down on the Decepticons. “Wreck and Rule” he said, as his Spark pulsed for the last time and he collapsed onto the console, his body grey and his spark extinguished.
Deftwing and Leadfoot stopped momentarily to admire the explosion of the frigate amongst the ruins of the ships. Deadpan also stopped, but before he could react he was knocked backwards by Roadbuster. Just as Roadbuster was about to deal the finishing blow, he knocked aside by a blast. Snare and Skydive picked up Deadpan and brought him to safety. “Skydive” he said bitterly. “Scan for Skyquake’s signature on the wreckage of that ship.”
    “Negative” replied Skydive.
“Snare, give order to get all our troops out and obliterate the facility. Tell Calcar and Blitz to get their ships down here for support.”
Soon the shadows of the ships that had formerly made up the blockade were bearing down on the Autobots, and it seemed like they were outgunned yet again.

    Kup’s Team
With the unconscious Stormtroopers around them, Pyro and Broadside made sure to cover their rear as Topspin and Scoria watched over the Decepticons, and Kup and Goldbug got to work using the Stormtroopers weapons to defuse the panic bubble. “Right, we’re in” said Goldbug. “Kup you wanna open up?”
    “Naturally Gold.”
Kup opened up the door while Topspin and Goldbug stood at the door, weapons drawn just in case they got it wrong and there were Decepticons in there. As door opened, a cluster of guns appeared, pointing at the team of Wreckers.

    Ringar Phi, 8 Months Ago
Springer, Topspin and Rack’N’Ruin barrelled down corridor after corridor, trying to find their teammates. They knew that comms were currently down so they would have to find the other three Wreckers manually. Just as they turned at a crossroads in the corridor, they found themselves staring at a several dozen Decepticons, and they were staring back.

    TROTW P5 Synopsis

Lethal Battle! Things get more dangerous for the Wreckers as enemy reinforcements arrive, but are they the deadliest thing on the planet? And as a battle in the past reaches it's climax, Wreckers continue to fall to their mission.

    Part 5
    Ringar Phi, 8 Months Ago
As the battle for Ringar Phi raged on around them, Springer, Rack’N’Ruin and Topspin were attempting to hold back to hold back the swarm of Decepticons to no avail. They were slowly losing their ground and would have to make a run for it. A stray shot felled Springer, and as Topspin knelt down to help his teammate he was also knocked down by their fire. The Decepticons approached them. “Any last words?” one of them asked the three Autobots.
Before any of them could answer a drill tank crashed through the wall of the corridor, and was soon followed by Impactor and Roadbuster. The tank transformed, revealing himself to be Twintwist, and they magnetised themselves to the ground. The front few dozens of Decepticons were sucked out while the three Autobots grabbed their fellow Wreckers to stop them from being sucked out of the station as well. “Shields activated. Artificial gravity re-established” said an automated voice as the hole in the wall was covered by a metal plate, prevent anyone else from being sucked out.
“Roadbuster, grab Springer and Topspin. Twintwist, Rack, Ruin, you guys will help provide covering fire with me” barked Impactor, as the swarm of Decepticons had managed to recover and had started moving again.
The team of Autobots stormed through the corridors followed by the Decepticons. “Where are we heading?” Rack asked Impactor.
“We got the map, Roadbuster’s holding onto it till we get out of here. The boys are losing, so we gotta go blow this station up.”
    “Sweet” said Ruin.
At that moment a blast from one of the Decepticons hit Ruin in the head, burning straight through and killing him. Now having to carry his dead conjoined brother, Rack was severely slowed. As his teammates passed through a bulkhead, rather than going on he smashed the controls for it with his hammer. “Rack? NOOOOOOOOO” shouted Impactor as he saw the bulkhead slam down behind him, with Rack on the other side. “WHAT DOES HE THING HE’S DOING?”
“Buying us time” replied Roadbuster. “Boss we gotta make a move now, so Rack’s sacrifice isn’t in vain.”
“Right, yes. I’m sure he’ll put a good fight.”
On the other side of the bulkhead, Rack and the corpse of his conjoined brother were being torn limb from limb, energon spewing every, chunks of metal flying everywhere. The remaining Wreckers were stopped cold by the sound of his screams…

Kup’s Team, The Thinkbox, Present Day
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t Fallback. Long time no see old timer” Kup said, greeted his old war buddy.
“Good to see you too, you old sack of rust” Fallback replied, patting Kup on the shoulder. “Sorry about the guns, it seemed likely the cons were gonna break in here rather than Autobots.”
“Don’t worry, I’d have done the same.”
“Anyway, this is what’s left of my crew, seeing as all the others are, well, offline. This is Clasp, my second in command, Ironfist, our chief engineer, Nightbeat, Hosehead and Siren, our “headmasters” as Brainstorm would call them, and their partners Muzzle, Lug and Quig respectively.”
Nightbeat, Hosehead and Siren’s heads transformed into robot mode for moment, then back into their alt-modes, re-attaching to their respective partner’s body. “Anyway, then these 4 are Kindle, Fervor, Tag and Flashfire, what remains of our security team. And finally this is our technician in case the system glitches, Hardware.”
“Well this is Pyro, Goldbug, Scoria, Topspin and Broadside” Kup responded.
    “So what’s the plan?”
“Well first of all we need to “borrow” a ship from the cons, and contact our ship for support. If that we can get that support we’ll be able to get out with less trouble. Topspin can you get on that.”
“So only 6 of you then?
“Nah, there’s actually 12. Our other group crashed right in the middle of the Decepticon forces, and I have no idea how many of them are still alive, if any. But either way, it sounds like there’s a battle going on outside, which is always a good thing.”
The united Autobots started walking down the corridor, heading towards the exit. Every so often, they would across a group of Decepticons, which they would easily dispatch. As they approached another crossroads, they stop to check which way they needed to go. “So, what direction then?” asked Fallback.
Suddenly, a blade was thrusted through the wall, impaling Fallback and killing him almost instantly. A large, hulking Genericon behind them, sword in hand. “AUTOBOTS, ATTACK!” Kup shouted at the Autobots.
Before anyone could do anything, the Genericon swung her sword at the Autobots, beheading Tag, Flashfire and Siren. Before she could turn around to deal with the Autobots, she was caught off guard by a blast from Quig, who had ejected himself in order to save both himself and Siren. Taking the moment of surprise, Siren transformed into his car mode and slammed into the Genericon’s leg, forcing her to kneel down. Quig and Siren the recombined, and Siren produced a loud scream with his high volume voice, incapacitating the Genericon.
The team of Autobots all transformed into their vehicle forms and drove/flew down the corridor. The Genericon then transformed into her tank mode, and was soon joined by a further 2 Genericons, both also in their tank modes. The 3 of them started opening fire at the Autobots as they travelled down the corridor. One of them got a lucky shot on several of Pyro’s wheels, sending him crashing into a wall. He quickly transformed and picked himself up, grabbing his heavy rifle off of his back. “You guys go on, I’ll buy you some time” he said.
    “Kid…” replied Kup.
“I can’t fly and I’d slow anyone down if any of you tried to carry me, even Broadside. But what I can do is buy you some time. Goldy…” Pyro said, turning to Goldbug, who had also stopped by him and transformed. “Keep alive, for me.”
“I can’t leave you behind Deft. It’s not fair that you have to lose your life for us. You need to be with us” Goldbug argued with his friend.
“I will be with you.” Pyro put his hand against Goldbug’s chest. “In here, in your spark. Now get going, those 3 will be here soon, and I think they’ve got company.”
Kup and the rest of the Wreckers drove off, Pyro in their sparks while Goldbug gave one last loving glance to his brother. “May Primus’ light be with you Pyro” Goldbug said as he transformed and followed them.
“Right, this it” Pyro said to himself. He set up his weapons and primed them. As 2 of Genericons came round the corner of the corridor with a swarm of smaller Decepticons in tow, Pyro fired on them with every ounce of juice his weapons had. Blast after blast pierced through the Predator forces. He kept firing until he found that the trigger wasn’t working. “Scrap, overheated” he said, knowing that one more pull of the trigger would cause it to violently explode.
Before he could pull out another gun felled him from behind. He looked behind him to see that third Genericon has flanked him with even more Decepticons. The Genericons and their soldiers circled around him. “Well, what now?” one of them asked.
“Well…” said another. Pyro slowly crawled towards his heavy rifle. “Hold on, dis one is still alive.”
Pyro grabbed the weapon. “Eat slag.” He pulled the trigger.
    KABOOOOOOOOM
The explosion echoed through the facility. Goldbug stopped, transformed and turned around in horror. Clasp stopped behind him and transformed as well. “We have to go Goldbug. Pyro may have made the ultimate sacrifice, but he wouldn’t want us to stop, he’d want us to succeed.”
Goldbug wiped a trickle of energon from beneath one of his optics. “Right, yes…”
They transformed again and caught back up with their teammates. The team stopped to open another door. At that moment a figure came crashing through the ceiling behind them.

    Springer’s Team
As the Springer, Roadbuster, Deftwing and Leadfoot were trying to make their way towards the facility and were slowly gaining ground towards the entrance. Seeing an opportunity, Roadbuster again to grapple with the now injured Deadpan, while Springer took on Stalker, Snare and Skydive. Blow after blow was exchanged as the Wrecker fought their way through the Predators, now crippled with the loss of their leader. “SNARE, WHY THE SLAG AREN’T BLITZ AND CALCAR FIRING?” Deadpan shouted at Snare, both of them consumed in their respective battle.
“Sir, Megatron just sent orders explicitly stating to retrieve the data.”
“I DON’T GIVE A FRAG ANYMORE, TELL THEM TO DESTROY THE FACILITY!”
So consumed with his leadership over the Predator forces, Deadpan was caught unaware by Roadbuster, who headbutted him, making him lose balance, and felt Roadbuster’s hand going right through his chest. “GAAAAAAARGH!!!!” he screamed.
“You know what Deadpan?” Roadbuster asked him, grabbing his spark.. “You were one spawn of a glitch.” Roadbuster crushed it in his hand. Deadpan dropped to the floor, his eyes darkened and his body slowly turning grey.
Meanwhile Springer was preoccupied dealing with Stalker, Snare and Skydive. He shot Skydive in the arm before kicking Snare down, only to have Stalker’s torture staff to scrape close to his neck. Stalker attempted to stab again, but Springer jumped over it, transforming into his helicopter mode and firing a pair of rockets straight at Stalker. As Stalker was reeling back from it he transformed into his car mode and dropped to ground, driving right into Stalker’s knee and forcing the Decepticon down onto the other. Before Stalker was able to recover, Springer transformed back into robot mode and impaled Stalker through the head, killing him instantly. Realising that even with the 2 of them against Springer alone they were still outmatched, Snare and Skydive fled back to the command cruiser, and were soon followed by Talon and Falcon.
The Autobots soon started cleaving their way through the less dangerous soldiers left on the ground and had soon made their way to the entrance of Thinkbox. “About time” said Leadfoot. “I was getting bored of squashing these weak generics.”
“Right then, let’s open this door and get to those survivors, and maybe while we’re at it see if we can find a ship that’ll get us past the fleet up there.
The door slid open, and before anyone could go in Springer and Roadbuster were knocked over by the two halves of Kindle’s grey corpse. Soon Kup and Goldbug were sent flying out, followed by Fervor, Hardware, Ironfist, Clasp, Nightbeat, Muzzle, Hosehead, Broadside, who was holding Scoria, and Topspin running out and firing behind him.
A tall bulky Decepticon stepped out, covered in Energon and surveyed the Autobots and Decepticons around him. “Weak. Do you know who I am?” he asked. There was no answer. “No? Then allow me to explain. Around the centre of the war, I was one of Megatron’s go to men. If an important battle looked like it was going to end up a Decepticon loss, I was sent there to turn the tide. I was, and still am, one of the first Cybertronians to be designated as a Class 10 threat. But then I got too powerful, to the point that Megatron feared me. 3 years ago, he attempted to eliminate me. But I survived, naturally of course. And now, I’m working my way through his forces, eliminating his top generals until he has none left. Then I’ll be coming for him. But it looks like you’ll also be crushed as well. Why? Because I am Sixshot!”

Hey guys, sorry for being quiet for so long. A lot of stuff has happened, including the actual file for Wreckers being deleted. But I promise that I'll have the finale completed as soon as I can. In the mean time, check out the rest of this epic story and let me know what you think. Once it's completed, I will be uploaded the completed story to my updated Deviantart account (below).

    Part 6
Springer was forged in 7th solar cycle, 3 solar cycles before the war, in the Idempt Outlands. He was headhunted to be part of the Aeriel Corps, and quickly rose through the ranks becoming a high ranking officer, and close to being awarded the identifier of Springer Minor, even possible showing affinity. And then the war broke out. But that didn’t stop Springer. He was placed in charge of the Heliobots, and succeeded in a number of major victories. Eventually he was brought to the attention of Threnody, then leader of the Wreckers. Within the first Solar Cycle of the war, he was offered a place in their team, and quickly proved himself to be a welcome addition to the squad. And now...

    Nebulos Hell, Present Day
Sixshot slammed Springer into the ground. “Pathetic” said the Decepticon sixchanger. He then proceeded to punch Roadbuster repeatedly, ending with a punch that left the Autobot unconscious. “Weak.” Goldbug and Fervor charged at Sixshot. He responded by throwing Roadbuster at Goldbug, sending the small Autobot falling backwards. As Fervor got closer Sixshot grabbed his arms, strung him up in front of him and proceeded to cut the Autobot in half lengthways with his large blade. “Fragile.”
“What are we gonna do now?” Clasp asked Springer.
“We need to fall back!” Springer replied. “But we’ll need a diversion.”
Within an instant a volley of firepower struck the ground, intending to hit Sixshot. After the death of both their general and acting commander, and the arrival of Sixshot, they had finally organised themselves and were intending to bring down the Decepticon sixchanger. “Ow! That one actually hurt” said Sixshot, transforming and flying towards the fleet of Decepticon ships above. “Oh you guys are gonna get it now.”
“Now’s are chance” said Springer. “WRECKERS, FALL BACK INSIDE!”
With that, Broadside and Clasp picked up Roadbuster, while Topspin helped Goldbug up, and Kup and Hardware carried Scoria, and the Wreckers hurried inside the Thinkbox. “So, where do we go from here?” asked Ironfist.
Springer missed the question, as is mind rolled back…

    Ringar Phi, 8 Months Ago
Observing the large force of Decepticons guarding the control room, the Wreckers pondered their next move. “We need to find a way in there” said Impactor. “Any ideas?”
“I got one” said Twintwist. "But you’re gonna need to get their attention."
Roadbuster, Topspin and Impactor turned round the corner and opened fire on the Decepticons. As the Decepticons were slowly heading out of the control room. Behind the Decepticons, chips of metal were dropping to the ground. Then, Twinstwist dropped from the Decepticons, and busily got to work on one of the consoles behind them. As he was finishing his work however, a Decepticon noticed him busy on the console. Twintwist was shot several through the chest several times. “TWINTWIST!!!” shouted Impactor as the Autobot’s body dropped over the console, slowly turning grey. At the same time, the screen turned red, as Cybertronian words appeared upon the screen, and a monotone voice echoed throughout the ship. “Self-destruct program initiated. Please evacuate immediately.”
As Roadbuster picked up Springer, the remaining 4 Wreckers charged away from the command hub. “Perceptor, I need an immediate ground bridge from the station to the Lost Light pronto!” Impactor shouted down the comms.
“I can’t open one right where you are, we built this station to prevent bridges from entering anywhere except Bridge Ports, but there is a bridge port near you, I’ll send you the co-ords of it.”
Impactor opened a holographic map from his arm. A red dot was flashing on it. “Wreckers, let’s roll out!”
Springer became the leader of the Wreckers. Maybe this was due to tragic circumstances, but he proved he was worthy of the roll, and quickly became one of the greatest leaders the Wreckers had ever had. He was strong, firm and knew what was best for his team, even though the typical survival rate of the Wreckers was low. From his training with Threnody, he learnt 3 things.

    The Thinkbox, Present Day
“Springer?” Ironfist repeated. “What do we do?”
“Well we’ve got not comms, and not even with the Decepticons do we stand a chance against that monster” replied Springer. “And let’s not fo- hold on, Hardware, what’s that sticking out of your backpack?”
“Backpack? What’s a Backpack?” asked Hardware, confused.
“Sorry, external compartment. Spend too much time on Earth and you pick up the lingo.”
“It’s a subwave radio. Sometimes I listen to music while I’m debugging systems or something.”
    “Did you say subwave radio?”
    “Yeah, why?”
“See if you can get it to work.”
Hardware got out the subwave radio, and turned it on. Miraculously, music started playing out of it. “The Pova Hub, huh?” asked Hosehead. “You have good taste in music Hardware.”
“Ironfist, do you think you and Hardware can use this to convert the computers in the central hub to become a subwave transmitter?” Springer asked Ironfist.
“Maybe, but we’ll need to be able to find an Autobot ship or outpost first” replied Ironfist. “We can’t just send subwave transmissions randomly into space.”
“Okay, you 2 get in there and do whatever needs to be done. Take Scoria in with you. He can cover you but he’s not in a position to actually engage Sixshot. The rest of us will cover this corridor.”
    KABOOOOM
Rule one is to never give up…
“That fleet won’t last long, so we need to stall the forged of Violen Jiger slaglicker as long as possible. Even if we don’t make it, as long as someone can take him out here and now, the universe can breathe a little easier.”
    KABOOOOM
“But what if he isn’t stopped” stammered Ironfist.
“Feminia. Clemency. Simanzi. Torash. Falabor. Teros. Antar. Paradron. Regulons 1-7. That is just a fraction of the number of planets that have been obliterated by Sixshot alone. Nothing else matters. Sixshot has to be stopped here. Maybe we won’t be the ones that do that. But he is not leaving this planet alive except as our prisoner. Got it?” Springer turned to look at the Autobots in front of him. “Wreckers. Autobots. Some of you I’ve known for a long time. Some of you I have only just met. But today, we stand up against an enemy who redefines the word powerful. Today we do the bravest thing anyone could ever do. We shall stare death in the face. We will make sure that Sixshot never hurts anyone again. It has been an honour to serve with you.”
Outside, Sixshot was tearing the Decepticon fleet apart. Aboard the bridge of the ship Calcar, Blitz and many other Decepticons were out of their mind, worrying about the outcome of the battle. “That’s it!” said Calcar. “Fire the Hydra Cannon.”
“Yes sir” replied one of the Vehicons on the bridge.
A cannon on the underside of the ship slowly started charging, and rotated towards Sixshot. The sixchanger noticed, and stopped destroying the cruisers and turned his attention to the weapon.
“Cannon fully charged sir” said a Genericon.
Sixshot fired a blast at the large Hydra Cannon. It flew into the barrel of the cannon.
    “FIRE THE CANNON” shouted Calcar.
    KACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
The cannon exploded, tearing the dreadnought it was attached to apart. The force of the explosion sent the remaining ships surrounding it crashing to the ground.
Sixshot landed in the middle of the graveyard of starships, executing anyone who had survived the crashes. He watched Snare, Skydive, Falcon, Talon and several other survivors fly off in their alt modes. “Well it’s been fun” he said. “Guess I’ve just got some Wreckers to crush and a point to finishing making.”
Inside, the Autobots were setting themselves up outside the command hub, all guns pointing in the direction of the entrance. There were several sealed bulkheads between them and Sixshot, but all of the Autobots knew that wouldn’t stop him.
    BOOM
The Wreckers heard the first bulkhead be blown apart. Springer tightened his grip on his gun. The Wreckers all looked nervously look around at one another, preparing for the worst.
    BOOM
Another bulkhead was destroyed by Sixshot. Deftwing quickly adjusted the settings on his Lightformer cannon. Topspin deployed his buzzsaws ready. Broadside’s rocket launchers popped up from his shoulders. Hosehead, Nightbeat and Siren made a few last minute checks with their respective Headmaster units. Roadbuster prepped himself behind a pillar. Kup opened the compartment he kept his knife in. Goldbug activated his targeting visor. Clasp nervously checked his weapons.
Inside the command hub, Hardware and Ironfist were busy scanning the space around the planet for any possible fleets that could aid them, or bring down Sixshot. Scoria had been sat down on some crate facing the entrance, armed with Ironfist’s own Lightformer cannon. “SPRINGER!” shouted Ironfist. “I’ve got a link with a fleet over Forlam.”
    BOOM
“Send a message then” replied Springer. “Fast as you can.”
    “Right. Hardware patch me through.”
Hardware tinkered around with the system and flicked a switch. “We’re live” he said.
“This is chief scientist Ironfist of Autobot outpost C19-12 codename ‘Thinkbox’. We need immediate assistance. We are under attack by the Class 10 threat Sixs-” BOOM.
“Keep going” Springer shouted at him.
“Uh, sorry. We are under attack by the Class 10 threat Sixshot. Most personnel at this base and almost half of the team of Wreckers that was sent have been offlined. We need your help.”
The power shut off across the base. “What happened?” asked Springer.
“I think Sixshot just found the generator room” replied Clasp.
    BOOM
“And I think that was the last bulkhead before this one.”
“Alright boys, as soon as that door goes down, light him up!” said Springer
    Rule two is be brave…
The Wreckers all clenched their guns.
    BOOM
The door collapsed in front of them. “FIRE!” shouted Springer.
A barrage of firepower flew at the door, but it was no use against the powerful Decepticon. He shrugged of every single bolt of energy as if it were merely a nanocon. Broadside charged at Sixshot, but the sixchanger used his blade to cut the Autobot in half, then proceeding to spear of both of Broadside’s arms. He then kicked the limbless Autobot away.
Deftwing proceeded to blast at Sixshot with his Lightformer Cannon. Despite the damage being done to him, Sixshot walked straight through each blast. “That’s enough of that” he said as he smashed the Lightformer cannon with his fist, then ripped Deftwing’s head off.
    “DEEEEEEEFT” shouted Ironfist.
Sixshot turned his attention to Ironfist as he cut Clasp in half, first sideways, then vertically. He aimed his cannon at Ironfist, but before he could fire, he was tackled to the ground by Springer and Hosehead. Getting up, Sixshot impaled Hosehead against the wall. Before he removed his sword from sword from the lifeless body. Suddenly Hosehead’s head transformed into a robot and fired a volley of shots at Sixshot’s own head.
“Lug, get behind the others” said Springer as he smashed Sixshot in the face with the hilt of his word.
“Oh you’ll pay for that” said Sixshot angrily, transforming into his jet mode, and ramming Springer through several walls. Eventually reaching outside, the Springer was sent flying as Sixshot transformed into robot mode. Getting up Springer charged at his opponent, only to feel a sharp pain pierce his spark. Looking down as he dropped his katana, Springer saw Sixshot’s own blade going straight through him. Rapidly losing energon, Springer’s mind raced back to Ringar Phi.

    Ringar Phi, 8 Months Ago
Impactor, Topspin and Roadbuster, who was holding Springer, raced through corridors as around them the ship exploded. Arriving at the bridge port, they witnessed a green portal open in one of the empty bridges. “Roadbuster, Topspin, get Springer through the bridge” said Impactor, as he saw a force of Decepticons approaching them.
Topspin ran through the bridge first, but just as Roadbuster proceeded through the bridge, his arm was shot off, sending Springer flying away from the space bridge. Roadbuster, turned around, Impactor stopped him. “No, I’ll get Springer. Get to safety now.”
Roadbuster went back through the bridge while Impactor grabbed Springer, firing on the Decepticons approaching. Impactor picked up his fallen second in command, and ran towards the space bridge. He stopped in front of it and looked at the Decpticons, and witnessed the corridor light up behind them. Quickly acting, Impactor threw Springer threw the space bridge and shot it, causing it to shut down. As the bridge closed, all Roadbuster, Topspin, Perceptor and Springer could see was Impactor smiling at them as the room on the other side was slowly consumed by flames. Springer slammed his fist against the ground.

    Nebulos, Present Day
And the most important rule, above all else…
“Well then Autobot” said Sixshot. “How does it feel to die?”
“Not die” said Springer, a glint in his optic. “SACRIFICE!!”
Springer grabbed his gun and placed it against Sixshot’s chin. He quickly pulled the trigger, and the blast removed took of most of Sixshot’s face. His endoskeleton face showing, Sixshot quickly recoiled and removed his blade from Springer’s chest. “YOU’LL DIE FOR THAT SLAGLICKER” screamed Sixshot. “I WILL KILL YOU AND KILL YOU AND KILL YOU FOR THAT!!!!!”
Sixshot raised his blade to strike Springer down.
    …Never lose hope.
Sixshot’s arm was blasted off before he could swing. “AUTOBOTS ATTACK!!!” ordered a familiar commanding voice.
Springer looked up to see Optimus Prime, Warpath, Skids, Rotorstorm and Overcast on the loading platform of Optimus’ ship the Skyroller. “Rotorstorm, Overcast go!”
The two Autobots transformed into their Helicopter and Space Shuttle modes respectively and started flying around Sixshot, firing on him. Above him, Springer saw the familiar shapes of the Lost Light, the Xanthium and the Steelhaven. Looking back, he saw Roadbuster, Topspin, Ironfist, Nightbeat, Siren, Lug and Kup at the door also adding their firepower.
“Crosshairs, keep the ship at low altitude. Riccochet, fire Magpulses.”
8 blue pulses of energy flew from a pair of rocket launchers on the hull of the ship, and homed in on Sixshot, exploding upon impact. “Downshift, Hound, man the turret pods, Landfill, Artfire, provide suppressing fire. The rest of you, COMBINE!!!”
Optimus transformed into the core of a combiner as Warpath, Metalhead, Overcast and Overload transformed into a torso around him. Below, Skids and Tracks combined into one leg while Rotorstorm and Hydrofoil combined into another, and the two legs attached themselves to the torso. Flakfoot then divided into 4 parts, forming the feet of the legs and addition armour for them. Higher up, Powerglide and Rad combined into an arm, while Skyfall and Flash combined into another. The arms attached, and finishing off the transformation Tailgate and Gears transformed into hands and attached themselves to their respective arms. “I AM OPTIMUS MAXIMUS!!!” roared the gestalt. “PROTECTOBOTS, PROTECTED THE WRECKERS!!!”
Astonished by the sudden transformation, Impactor fired a volley of shots at the both Optimus Maximus and his fellow Autobots. The blast had little effect on the combiner, but Artfire was not so lucky as a battle hit his head, almost tearing it apart. “Repsonder, get Artfire inside ASAP” order Hot Spot as he leapt out of the Skyroller. “Minicons, cover me while I recover Springer. The rest of you get to those Autobots and bring em’ back to ship. Let’s move it!!”
As Responder dragged Artfire back inside, Hot Spot managed to grab Springer and began carrying him towards the ship. He stopped for a minute to observe Optimus repeatedly punch Sixshot into the ground.
The remaining Protectobots soon joined up with Kup’s group, and as they arrived Streetwise asked Kup “Is this all of you?”
“No” said the Autobot veteran. “Goldbug and Hardware are at the hub attending to Broadside and Scoria. You lad willing to help me?”
“Sure thing Kup” Streetwise replied. “Nightspeed, Groove, you two are with me and Kup. Rook, lead the others back to the Skyroller and get them on board.”
Kup, Streetwise, Nightspeed and Groove soon sped back into the complex. As they did, Rook lead the other Autobots over to the Skyroller.
Eventually, Optimus Maximus stopped punching, and split up into his components. “Ultra Magnus” said Optimus Prime over his inbuilt communicator. He looked down at the mangle mess that was Sixshot, who was barely conscious. “Sends down a prisoner carrier and some troops to secure the area.”
Aboard the Skyroller, Ironfist and Responder were busy operating on Artfire, connecting him to Lug. The two Autobots stopped and looked down at Artfire. “Well, Ironfist” said Responder. “It appears that you just saved an Autobot’s life.” Behind his face plate, Ironfist smiled.

The Lost Light, Three Days Later
Springer was the bravest Autobot I ever knew, and the best leader of the Wreckers there has even been. He was born a hero. He lived a hero. He di-
“Kup” said Rodimus, who was standing at the door with Cerebros. “It’s time.”
“Right” said Kup, losing his train of thought. He picked up the eulogy and the three Autobots walked out of the room.
