I tell my story in a way you may easier understand. A way that shows all sides, not just my own. For in my years, though I am cruel, I have learned to see other views. Though not appreciated, I see them. I once heard a poem recited by a dying Autobot. I believe it was human in origin. I do not know the name, but I have it here for you now.

A man doesn't have time in his life
    to have time for everything.
He doesn't have seasons enough to have
a season for every purpose. Ecclesiastes
    Was wrong about that.

A man needs to love and to hate at the same moment,
to laugh and cry with the same eyes,
with the same hands to throw stones and to gather them,
to make love in war and war in love.
And to hate and forgive and remember and forget,
to arrange and confuse, to eat and to digest
    what history
takes years and years to do.

    A man doesn't have time.
When he loses he seeks, when he finds
he forgets, when he forgets he loves, when he loves
    he begins to forget.

And his soul is seasoned, his soul
    is very professional.
    Only his body remains forever
    an amateur....

And I have forgotten the rest it seems.

    What a load of scrap.
I am Straxus. Darkmount is my home. This is my story.

    Entry 1
Straxus sat in his throne. Now this throne was far from ordinary. It was made from the remains of an uncountable amount of Autobots. Autobots that the merciless ruler of Polyhex had extinguished himself. He sat, arms rested on the sides. He was staring off at nothing as his second-in-command, Venom, prattled on about a recently captured Autobot.

Venom: "M-my liege, I don't mean to come across as speaking out of place, but, um, are you listening?"

If Straxus had eyes, he would've blinked. Instead his optics seemed to whir a little as they refocused behind their yellow lenses.

Straxus: "Hm? Venom, how long have you been talking?"

    Venom's wings nervously shook.

Venom: "About t-two hours my liege. I was giving you a report on the newest prisoner. H-he's been causing trouble."

Straxus reached over and grabbed his pick-axe. He could see that Venom got stiff when he did so. The Insecticon leader was barely moving, his wings now still as a sleeping scraplet. Getting up, Straxus dragged his pick-axe along the ground. A sheering noise that any human's ears would bleed cause of, rang out through the room.

Straxus: "Bring me to this prisoner."

Venom quickly showed Straxus the way. The bug bot would occasionally look around in a sort of paranoid way. He was always thinking people were out to get him. That's why Straxus kept him so close in his circle. He knew that Venom would never betray him, cause then someone would truly have a reason to squash this bug.

    Venom: "Here he is s-sir."

Venom motioned to a bulky lime green Autobot. He was clearly some sort of maintenance vehicle before the war. Poor guy probably had no choice but to fight. He was young, well young for millions of old beings. Straxus was looking at him as two of his men, Barrage and Chop Shop, barely holding the big warrior down.

    Straxus: "Name."

Straxus waved off his men as he approached his prisoner. No. His property.

Autobot: "Towline. What's it to you?"

Straxus used his pick-axe to lift the chin up of Towline, that way they were looking each other in the optics.

Straxus: "Towline, today is your luck day."

    Towline: "How?"

Straxus without any sort of notice, swung and slammed his pick-axe into Towline's shoulder. Pain shot through the young warrior as Straxus began to drag him along the ground. He pried at the pick-axe, but could not get it free of his shoulder. Straxus kicked open a large door and light flew into the room, nearly blinding Towline.

Straxus: "You get to be the first to test our new smelting pit!"

Straxus flung his pick-axe in the air, sending Towline flying. The warrior screamed as he plummeted towards the molten, yellow liquid below. The three insecticons joined Straxus as he watched from the throwing platform.

Straxus: "If you can't get information out of someone and they give you too much trouble, just throw 'em in. I'm tired of dealing with foolish Autobots. Now, where is Scourge!?"

A large black hover truck with a tanker filled with energon was speeding down a road in Polyhex. In front of it was a small insecticon swarm creature. This truck ever so did hate these bugs, even those that worked with its boss. Straxus. Straxus this, Straxus that. This truck could lead. Well Scourge that is.

Leading a squad of his own, he knows he can command the Decepticons in Polyhex. He has the skills and the strength. No one would dare dethrone him.

    Scourge: "Come here bug!"

Scourge smashed into the insecticon, causing it to explode. His tanker shook a little but he was fine. He approached Darkmount at a slowing speed and made his way in. He transformed and began to speak to a guard when he heard it from the top of Darkmount. The scream for his presence.

    Straxus: "Where is Scourge!?"

Scourge mumbled profanities under his breath as he began the long ascent to the top of the fortress.

Scourge: "What does he want now?"

Thought I'd just add one actual chapter today instead of just the intro. So, um yeah, hope you enjoyed it!

Straxus was sitting atop his throne, picking at some dirt on one of the many corpses making up his throne. He was growing impatient. Scourge was taking longer than he should be. He may have been Straxus' number one tactician, but that didn't mean he'd stand for this.

The large doors opposite the throne swung open. They dragged across the ground, letting out an ear-piercing screech. In walked Scourge.

    Scourge: You rang my liege.

Scourge kneeled down, his annoyance with the action clear. Straxus just stared at him. He wanted the towering warrior to become angry. He wanted a reason to punch him.

Straxus: Where were you from 0400 to 0900?

Scourge's gears whirred as he slowly rose to his feet. He seemed to let out a sort of growl. Clearly even more annoyed. Straxus knew where he had been. This was just another way for the tyrant to annoy him.

Scourge: I was getting energon for this fortress. It's currently being logged by the storage bots.

    Straxus: Where are your commandos?

    Scourge: They're currently getting drinks.

Scourge turned to leave when Venom walked in. The two just stared each other down. Venom's wings shook as Scourge's optics narrowed in on him.

    Scourge: Bug.

    Venom: Muscle head.

Scourge and Venom walked by each other. The doors shut behind Scourge, slamming shut. He stepped into an elevator, pressing a button among the thousands. This elevator was something out of Wonka's factory, able to go in all directions.

The elevator jerked and shot off in the direction it needed to go. Scourge looked out the small view port to his left. There were others on every other side. Colors and sounds whizzed by as the elevator traveled as fast as a circuit racer.

The elevator jerked to a stop, not even phasing Scourge. He stepped out to see two vehicon guards. They stepped back and nodded to him as he walked by. He was in one of the many prison sectors of the fortress. Many of the prisoners here were unaffiliated scientists and scholars. But a few were minimum security Autobots.

Towline was one of the five Autobots they captured. They were sent for some sort of espionage mission. Clearly, they had failed.

    Scourge: Open cell 228.

    Guard: Yes sir.

A cell opened up in front of Scourge and he walked in. Sitting on the recharging slab was an Autobot, at most forty feet tall. Scourge himself was a good seventy. The Autobot was a mix of orange, silver and cobalt blue.

Autobot: What do you want creep?

    Scourge: Where is he Macro?

    Macro: Who?

    Scourge: You know who, Autobot!

Scourge slammed a fist into Macro, sending the smaller bot spiraling to the ground.

    Scourge: Where is Star Saber!?

Macro used the wall to help himself to his feet. He glared at Scourge, quickly spitting some oil at him.

Macro: Somewhere you'll never find him! Or any of the others!

Scourge kicked Macro back down. The moment the Autobot hit the ground, he planted his boot on Macro's arm. Scourge placed pressure on the elbow joint, causing Macro to howl.

Scourge: Towline is dead. Give me a reason for you not to be.

Macro: Shove your mercy up your exhaust port.

Scourge hoisted Macro up with one arm. He pinned the smaller bot against the wall and got close to his face.

Scourge: Do not mistake my "bargain" for mercy. For that, you're gonna die.

Scourge walked out of the cell, dragging Macro with him. The two guards opened the elevator and he stepped in. Macro struggled against his grip. The Autobot's struggles were futile. He would never escape. His fellow Autobots yelled from behind the doors to their cells. They banged on them, scratched at them. They yelled obscenities at Scourge, cursing him to the pit.

As the elevator doors began to shut, it almost seemed as if Scourge smiled. At least, that's what the guards thought they saw. Scourge loved his job at times. The times he got to kill Autobots.

So, I decided to make bios for characters. Even though we're already two chapters in, I kinda want to. So each side will have their bios. When new bios are made for new characters, they will be added to the team's respective posts. I will also say when there are new bios up, so don't worry! Anyways! First to get bios:

    Decepticons

*Straxus: Straxus is not a bot you want to piss off. Leader of Darkmount, tyrant of Polyhex, and many other names describe him. But one constant word used to describe him is merciless. He strikes fear into the sparks of his enemies as if he were Unicron himself. Megatron left him in charge of Polyhex, the Sea of Rust and any other surrounding cities/regions. He constantly argues with Shockwave about expanding his reach to Kaon, but the one eyed psychopath never agrees. He tends to stay in his throne room, atop his throne of Autobot corpses. But he's not afraid to get his hands dirty if needed.
    Alt Mode: Hover Tank
Weapons: Axe (Melee), Shoulder-Mounted Rocket Launcher
*Venom: Venom is...interesting. No one knows if he is crazy or if he's just playing everyone. Or both. It's clear he's paranoid though, always saying someone wants to kill him. Which he isn't wrong about. Him and Scourge are constantly at odds. Fights, rumor spreading, etc. Whatever the other one can do to piss the other off is fine. But in the end, Venom is Straxus' most trusted adviser and lieutenant. Venom doesn't need to be paranoid (but it helps) to know that if he betrays Straxus, the axe-wielding maniac will slice him to bits. He also leads a small group of Insecticons. If Straxus needs something done immediately, they're the ones to call.
    Alt Mode: Robotic Cicada
Weapons: Dual curved blades (Melee), Poisonous Stinger, Fully Upgraded Path Blaster (Range)
*Barrage: Barrage is the definition of over kill. Burn the village and the crops, hell burn the entire world. It's the only way Barrage will ever feel happiness. He's not afraid to kick a protoform or murder an elder-bot in cold blood. Mercy is beneath him and so is helping his teammates. He'll put killing a target ahead of everything else. There are few he would not kill. That's only because he know he'd die. Which is also beneath him.
    Alt Mode: Robotic Rhinoceros Beetle
Weapons: Yellow Energy Sword (Melee), Brawn Blaster (Range)
*Chop Shop: Ever need something stolen? Chop Shop is the one to call. By the time you realize you've been stolen from, Chop Shop is gone. There are very few things Chop Shop can't steal. One being his ultimate goal, Straxus' axe. He just wants to hold it and keep it forever. But he must control that impulsion if he wishes to stay alive. He takes life, but doesn't want his taken. If someone has something he wants, he will kill them for it. A blaster, a barrel of oil, the last few energon goodies.
    Alt Mode: Robotic Stag Beetle
Weapons: Electric Trident (Melee), Dorsal Blaster Rifle (Range)
*Ransack: "Holy slag! Everything is dead!" is what you will say when you see Ransack's handiwork. He has a 'Scorched Earth' philosophy. To win, everything and everyone must be destroyed. Mainly enemies, sometimes friends. He rarely pays attention to who he is shooting unless it matters to the mission. He can leap 1.5 miles like it's nothing and kick with the force to shatter a building.
    Alt Form: Robotic Locust
Weapons: High-intensity Concussion Blaster (Range), Shield (Defense)
*Scourge: Scourge is an...angry fellow. Quick to anger and slow to show mercy, he's a formidable foe. Him and his Commandos never fail and that pisses him off. Not because they never fail, but because Straxus doesn't tend to think they've accomplished much. That's why Scourge is still basically a foot solider. A higher-ranking foot soldier, but still a foot soldier. His goal is to someday take Venom's place as 2nd in command and then kill Straxus. So that he may lead Darkmount and rule over Polyhex.
    Alt Mode: Hover Tanker Truck
Weapons: Sword of Fury (Melee), Plasma Rifle (Range), Shoulder Cannons/Rocket Launchers (Range)
*Mega-Octane: Leader of the Commandos and baby-sitter of Scourge. In reality, Mega-Octane is and the only leader of the Commandos. Scourge is simply their connection to Straxus and Straxus knows it. Straxus constantly goes around Scourge so he may speak with the level-headed Mega-Octane himself. Mega-Octane takes pride in his troops' successes and their discipline in battle. But he himself isn't happy unless he gets first and last shot at an enemy. He makes up the main part of the gestalt, Ruination.
Alt Mode: Flatbed Truck w/ Twin Ion Cannons
Weapons: Plasma Cannon (Range), Shield (Defense)
*Ro-Tor: An ego the size of Cybertron itself, this Decepticon flier just needs a good sniper and clear skies to take an Autobot down. Though being a helicopter, he is nearly silent in flight. This allows him to perform the sneak attacks he loves so much. Though he is one of the two Commandos that fly, he's probably the only useful one.
    Alt Mode: Helicopter
Weapons: Rotor Blade Swords (Melee), Praetor Pulse Blaster (Range), Plasma Pistol (Short Range), Plasma Blasting Mini-Gun (Range)
*Movor: The most useless aerial ally. Even though he can make a bombing run the enemy would never see coming, his allies would rather he not. At risk for their own lives that is. Movor has been known to blow up his own teammates by accident. It's amazing he's still allowed on the battlefield. Many theorize the only realize Mega-Octane keeps him around is because he helps form Ruination.
    Alt Mode: Space Shuttle
Weapons: Twin Plasma Cannons (Range), Plasma Pistol (Short Range)
*Rollbar: Can you describe a Decepticon with the word 'zen?' Well even if you can't, that's how you can describe Rollbar. Not much for blasters, he tends to stick to his martial arts training. He's probably the calmest of all the Commandos, hell, all the Decepticons. He always keeps his quarters clean and is somehow able to tame scraplets and insecticon swarm creatures. Even weirder, he enjoys standing over the smelting pit and watch as its victims slowly melt. No one knows why, he just watches in silence for hours and then leaves.
    Alt Mode: Combat Jeep
Weapons: His fists and feet, Plasma Pistol (Short Range), Arm Mounted Cannon (Range)
*Armorhide: Probably one of the few that can survive in the Sea of Rust, he loves killing. Especially those who wander into the Sea of Rust. He enjoys hiding and then killing unsuspecting victims. If you get to close, he'll probably kill you with his bare hands. Which is far from a pretty sight. To sum it all up, he's extremely violent and you should stay away.
    Alt Mode: Hover Tank
Weapons: Plasma Pistol (Short Range), Brawn Blaster (Range)
*Overcharge: Overcharge was the last of Overcharge clones that the Decepticons had acquired from the Quintessons before their falling out. He was damned to the Polyhex Grease Pits for being a creation of the Quintessons. There he fought his way to the top to become the #1 fighter. Not the smartest or the strongest. He was just the most durable and began to figure out ways to use his durability to his advantage. His tactics tended to involve tiring his enemies out. But that didn't help in his last and final battle. He was brutally beaten to death by Tap-Out, an Autobot scout who had been captured.
Alt Mode: Tank and Fighter Jet (Triple-Changer)
Weapons: Heat Rifle (Range), Sword (Melee)
*Megazarak: Megazarak is a Decepticon shrouded in mystery. No one knows where he came from. Or even when. There are theories about him. Time travel, long lost 'brother' of Megatron, Megatron clone, and so many more. He's always had an odd rivalry with Straxus. The two have been known to fight on many occasions throughout the war. Straxus has never won a single one-on-one fight with him, but he still respects the Polyhex Tyrant. Whenever he is around, trouble does follow. Much like Straxus claims about the mysterious Con. Megazarak himself likes to travel along with his minions. Some he recruits and some he...creates. He has been known to survive death. But that's just a rumor among the Decepticon ranks.
    Alt Mode: Cybertronic Tank
Weapons: Energon Knife (Melee), Compression Cannon (Range)
*Caliburn: Caliburn is Megazarak's most trusted lieutenant. He may be tiny, but he's stronger than many. Able to lift three times his weight and take a building falling on him, then still get back up in time for a bowl of Energon-Os. The drills on his arms can fire lightning from them to the point of easily frying a large mini-con in one shock. He can attach to Megazarak, allowing his leader to channel his lightning powers.
Alt Mode: Moon Buggy w/ Drills
    Weapons: Lightning Drills (Range/Melee)
*Slipstream: If you want someone to feel nothing but pain before they die, you call Slipstream. Not only is she the leader of Straxus' personal Seekers, she's also a well-renowned strategist. She's also well-renowned for being Straxus' Conjunx Endura, which may or may not be true. You ask them both and it isn't true. You ask anyone who claims to know them and those people say yes. All people know about their relationship is that they've known each other since before the war.
    Alt Mode: Cybertronian Tri-Jet
Weapons: Arm-Attached Missiles (Range), Dual Null-Rays (Range)

Now times for the Autobot bios! More will be added when more characters appear.

    Autobots
*Star Saber: A courageous, honest and skillful leader, Star-Saber leads some of the Autobot forces on Cybertron. He isn't afraid to run into battle if it means freedom for others. Willing to sacrifice himself for his friends and teammates, he's always the first to be asked to help on a mission. Now that he is the one who gives missions, he's nearly forced to stay inside the secret Autobot base. He hates it and is always trying to find ways to get out on the battlefield.
    Alt Mode: Cybertronic Spacecraft
Weapons: Saber Blade (Melee), Saber Laser (Range), Shield (Defense)
*Towline: Towline is dead, but that doesn't mean he won't be missed by his teammates. He was a bot with a sense of humor. As well as the strength of ten bots. But that wasn't enough to keep him from being captured and killed.
    Alt Mode: Hover Tow Truck
Weapons: Plasma Cannon (Range), Tow-Hook (Melee)
*Macro: Macro is a warrior with honor. He is one of the Autobot's best scouts, rarely being caught. He can jam transmissions and use all types of weapons. But he greatly prefers his sword over anything else.
Alt Mode: Custom Low-Rider Sports Car
Weapons: Delta Sword (Melee), Rail Laser Rifle (Range), Haze Grenade Launcher (Range)
*Tap-Out: Probably one of the best boxers to ever fight in the ring, Tap-Out is not one for giving up. He became an Autobot scout when the war began, working alongside Optimus Prime's main team. When Optimus and Co. left for Earth, he stayed behind to fight the good fight as he had called it. While fighting one of many battles, he was captured and forced to fight in the Polyhex Grease Pits. There he killed many fellow Autobots as well as Decepticons. He is now the number one fighter in the Grease Pits.
    Alt Mode: Cybertronian Racer
Weapons: His Fists (Melee), Scatter Blaster (Short Range)

Macro's right optic cover shattered. Blue glass stuck into his optic, causing him to let out a howl of pain. A large black foot connected with his chin. He could feel a servo in his neck break as he fell onto the floor of the platform he was on.

Standing above the broken Autobot was Scourge. They were on a floating platform above the major Smelting Pet in the middle of the fortress. Straxus was watching from his throne room atop the highest tower. The Commandos and some other Decepticons had gathered around the Smelting Pit to watch.

Scourge always gave an Autobot a chance to fight for their life. No matter how much they offended him. It made him feel like a god. Deciding whether someone lives or dies, it made him almost ecstatic. He dodged a right hook from Macro, sending a right hook back of his own.

Macro's arm nearly broke from the force of the blow upon his forearm. He had barely blocked the attack as is. He couldn't focus enough to come up with any plan. This was a David and Goliath situation, and Goliath was winning. Scourge's next punch made direct contact with his face. Pieces of metal and drops of energon flew from his head as he spun around.

This was Scourge's chance and he took it. Jumping into the air and smashing both feet into Macro's back, the Autobot went flying forward and off the platform. Scourge stepped forward and looked over the edge. His optics followed Macro as he fell into the pit.

    Scourge: Weak.

The platform slowly descended to the edge of the pit. Scourge could hear Macro's screams from below. He ignored them as he stepped off the platform and walked by all those who had gathered.

Mega-Octane turned to look at his team. He nodded to them and they walked off with all the other soldiers. He remained standing there as Venom approached.

    Venom: He's still a-alive I assume?

Mega-Octane looked down at the pit as he spoke.

Mega-Octane: Yeah. Macro wasn't enough. If Straxus wants him dead without it seeming like it was planned, he'll have to capture someone strong enough to take down Scourge.

Venom: We have an idea. A f-fighter in the Grease Pits. Tap-Out.

Mega-Octane spun on his heels to look at Venom. He began to laugh.

Mega-Octane: Haha! Tap-Out!? That little imp? He couldn't crush a scraplet.

    Venom: H-he killed Overcharge.

    Mega-Octane: Overcharge?

Venom: N-number one fighter in the Grease Pits of Polyhex.

Mega-Octane and Venom began walking away from the pit together. They stepped into an elevator and began their ascent to Straxus' throne room.

Upon arriving, Scourge was already there talking with Straxus.

Straxus: I need you to teach this Tap-Out a lesson. The fighters in the pits are starting to rally behind him. If you dispose of him, we might be able to shut down all of this before it even begins.

Scourge: Fine. I'll do it. Just tell me when.

Chop Shop: Why not now? Hehe.

Scourge, Mega-Octane and Venom all turned to look at the door. Chop Shop walked in, dragging along an unconscious Tap-Out.

Chop Shop: So, did I get this guy for nothing or what?

    Scourge: Let's do this.

Scourge stood on the floating platform above the Smelting Pit. Tap-Out was sprawled across the ground in front of him. The tiny Autobot was still unconscious from Chop Shop's torture methods. The large Decepticon was sick of waiting. He violently planted his heel in Tap-Out's side, prompting the Autobot to jolt to his feet.

    Scourge: Good. You're awake.

Tap-Out: Urgh, you're Scourge right? Your team put me in those pits! I'll kill you for making me what I had to do to my friends in that Hell!

Tap-Out lunged forward, all his weight slamming into Scourge's abdomen. The black bot wrapped his hands around Tap-Out, lifting the mini-bot above his head.

Scourge: Is this all you can muster up!? You're fighting for your life!

Tap-Out slammed both elbows down into Scourge's head, causing the larger bot to drop. The two hit the platform and Tap-Out rolled towards the edge of the platform. Sliding off, he grabbed the edge. He could feel the heat of the pit below. It almost seemed to call to him. Staring down at it, the swirling liquids were mesmerizing. Then a hand reached up and melted and he snapped back to reality.

    Tap-Out: Not Today!

Scourge's foot came flying down at Tap-Out. He vaulted up and over Scourge, planting two feet in the Con's back. Landing on his feet, he turned and landed two body blows to Scourge's back. The towering bot went stumbling over the edge of the platform.

    Scourge: No! Not like this!

Scourge's arms flailed as he tried to grab anything he could. He just fell. Closer and closer, the pit fast approaching. He scanned the crowds that had gathered around the pit to watch. Many of the soldiers were drawing their weapons to shoot at Tap-Out. Some just watched. He saw the Commandos watching closely alongside Straxus' Insecticons.

That's when he realized they had set him up. The only reason he lost was the platform. If he had not been suspended over the pit, Tap-Out would've been killed. But his own size was turned against him.
Scourge continued to look across the crowds. He swore he saw a tank pull up and transform. Someone he didn't recognize. He at least knew what everyone in Darkmount looked like. But this bot, he had no idea who they were.

Right before he hit the molten liquid he heard a voice in the back of his head. "You will return." He hit the smelting pit with such force, it caused a small geyser to erupt upwards.

Tap-Out looked down into the pit as Scourge's body was engulfed by the liquid. He looked around for a way off the platform, but found nothing. That's when he saw all the guns aimed at him.

    Tap-Out: Oh scrap.

Tap-Out backed up to the end of the platform as ion bolts whizzed by. He sprinted across the platform and jumped as it fell out from beneath him. He flew through the air and crashed down onto the edge of the pit. He was grabbed by a Decepticon and dragged away from the pit.

Straxus watched the spectacle from his balcony. He spotted the same tank Scourge had. He knew who it was and he was far from happy about it. Turning around he spotted a small red light coming from a ventilation shaft. Pretending not to notice it, he sat on his throne.

    Straxus: Caliburn, come out now.

The ventilation shaft shook as whatever was in it quickly scurried off. Straxus laughed and began twirling his battle-axe in the air.

Straxus: Seems an old playmate has come back to make his final moves.

Straxus stood on his balcony, looking out over the Smelting Pit. Some vehicons were cleaning up broken parts around the edges of the pit.

    Straxus: Need something Venom?

Venom walked up behind Straxus, tapping his fingers together.

Venom: W-well...We tried recovering some of Scourge's body, even his spark if it survived. No trace of him. The Autobot killed him.

Straxus began tapping the balcony railing in annoyance. He let out a sort of sigh and his optics narrowed as he focused on the Smelting Pit.

    Straxus: That all?

Venom: N-no. We were wondering if we should kill the Autobot. Make an example of him.

Straxus waved Venom off in a sarcastic sort of manner. He pinched where the bridge of a nose would be on his face.

Straxus: Do what you want with him. I don't care at the moment. I have more urgent matters to attend to. Just try and get information about Star Saber out of him first.

Venom nodded and transformed. He flew out of the throne room to the nearest elevator. Straxus stood there alone, not a sound being made within the throne room. He watched as six Seekers landed in the hangars directly across from his command tower where his throne room was located.

Straxus: So, what brings you back?

Straxus turned around to see the mystery Decepticon he had spotted during Scourge's final fight. It was a large purple, silver and red bot with horns. On his back were tank treads and a cannon. It was clear he transformed into some form of tank. On his shoulder was a Micromaster that appeared to turn into some form of drilling device.

???: Not happy to see me?

Straxus picked up his battle-axe and slung it over his shoulder.

Straxus: Nothing good ever happens when you're around Megazarak. So why are you here?

Megazarak laughed at Straxus' comment as he sat on Straxus' throne.

Megazarak: I heard Megatron has been off planet for quite some time.

Straxus glared at the larger Decepticon and stood in front of him.

Straxus: Around four million stellar cycles. You're a bit late to the party, I believe is the saying.

Megazarak flicked a loose finger from the throne, which clearly bothered Straxus.

Megazarak: I guess so. I was surprised to hear about your lieutenant, Scourge. Such a shame.

Straxus pointed behind him with a snarl and Megazarak got up from the throne and began walking out. Straxus sat down and watched as his ‘guest’ left.

    Megazarak: I’ll be around. Don’t worry, I won’t be a bother.

Straxus shook his head as the doors shut. He heard someone land on his balcony and he didn’t bother to get up.

    Straxus: Anything to report Slipstream?

A ‘fembot’ seeker, green and purple, approached Straxus’ throne from behind. She wrapped her arms around the throne and ran a finger along the side of his face.

    Straxus: Not now.

Slipstream: Fine. Fine. Nothing to report of worth. No sign of Star Saber at all. So, who was tall, dark and brooding there?

Straxus shook her arm off and stood up. He turned around to face her and was caught off guard by what he saw. In the time it took him to stand up she had slipped into his seat. She sat with her legs dangling over one arm of the chair while she leaned against the other arm. He narrowed his optics at her in annoyance.

Straxus: I want you to follow mister dark and brooding as you called him. Wherever he goes, trouble follows. Take your team with you as well. If you get caught, you’ll need cannon fodder.

Slipstream smiled at him in a mocking way.

Slipstream: Oh, you do care. Haha.

Straxus: Yeah, I care for my major intelligence gathering operatives. Don’t think anything else of it.
Slipstream hopped to her feet and adjusted the missiles on her forearms.

Slipstream: We’ll follow him. Don’t worry. I’ll report back every few Mega-Cycles.

She transformed and flew out of the throne room through the balcony. He watched her go out the window and sat down. Many thought the two of them to be Conjunx Endura with how they act towards each other. They weren’t wrong but not exactly right. Their relationship wasn’t romantic, more mutual respect. Yes Slipstream acted like they were life partners, but she would never agree they were. Of all the people he’s willing to kill though, Straxus would not kill her. Not after all they’ve been through.
