Well, I'm not really sure how to start this off. I've never written a full fledged story before (or series) but I've had this idea for a Transformers series for a while now and I finally decided to begin a fanfic based on it.

So, the main plot of this fic is that back on Cybertron, a mass Exodus was attempted by the Autobots in order to escape eradication by the Decepticons. Almost every ship was shot down and only a few made it out of Cybertron's atmosphere. The Ark, the flagship of the fleet, was separated from the fleet after the Decepticon saboteur Vanquish messed up the transwarp coordinates. The ship crashes into Mission City on Earth in the year 1984, obliterating the city.

For a long time the small Autobot group remains hidden from the humans, until finally Hound makes contact with the Army and explains that the crash was an accident caused by the Decepticons. After forging an alliance with the human military in 1994, the Autobot group is given a base in an underwater cave and help defend America from it's enemies.

Now Decepticon activity has been picked up on Earth, and things begin to escalate as the war is resurrected!

    Prologue- Crown City, 9:00 PM

Spike Witwicky was sweating harder than he had ever in his life. He barely noticed the pain all over his body as he squatted down and and watched the enemy team's quarterback come up behind the center. The linebacker had been playing Varsity since his Freshman year, after the former senior linebacker Jimmy Pink was injured and no one else could take his place. That was four years ago, and now Spike was the star player of the team. He had successfully shut down two different teams in two consecutive games and currently the Crown City Cavaliers had only lost once, to Central City. Now they were playing the New Mission City Missionaries and were currently ahead by one, thanks to a beautiful extra point kick by Russel Clay, Spike's best friend.

Spike moved in between the Tackle and End, ready to blitz across the offensive line and to sack the quarterback.

    Down, seeeet, hut! hut! HUT!

The ball snapped, and Spike was off. He dashed past the offensive guard and was on track to sack the quarterback when all of the sudden he was tackling air. The nimble quarterback had juked him out. He got up off the ground, blood pumping in his temple as he watched the quarterback break off in a run. The buzzer had sounded, and if New Mission City scored then they would win. Spike wouldn't let that happen. He tore off after the quarterback. His legs were a blur as he sprinted downfield. The crowd cheered as they saw him gain ground on the athlete. The back was at the thirty, the twenty, the ten, wham. Spike slammed into the back's back and they both sailed forward. While laying on the ground, Spike feared he had propelled himself and the quarterback into the endzone, how embarrassing would that be. That's when he heard the crowd erupt in cheers, his crowd. He stood up and saw that he and the back had landed on the one yard line. Spike went wild as his teammates surrounded him...

    Crown City- 10:30 PM

Spike was in joyous spirits as he rode his motorcycle through the streets of Crown City. After a long time celebrating with his team-mates and coaches, he had finally changed back into his street clothes and headed home. He couldn't wait to tell his dad the news, but Spike knew that he wouldn't be home. He never got home from Fort Sam until about 4:00 AM. Fort Sam was outside the Crown City limits, right on the coast. His father worked long hours there as an engineer for the Army. Normally, he and his father would have lived inside the Fort, but since Crown City was so close all personnel were allowed to live in it except for the soldiers.

Spike stopped at a redlight and flashed a smirk to a group of girls in the car next to him. They blushed and smiled back before the light turned green and they pulled off. Spike was about to follow when he saw a pair of bright purple lights watching him from an alley. He raised an eyebrow and was going to pull off when he heard a strange series of metallic sounds. The circular purple lights were replaced with bright purple headlights from a purple and black Dodge Charger. The car sped out of the alley and straight towards Spike. He yelled and quickly moved out of the way, speeding down the road. The car followed in hot pursuit. The headlights slid up and gun barrels replaced them. Bullets flew past Spike as he pushed his motorcycle to the limits.

Who the heck is this guy?!

Spike yelled out loud. He had reached the outskirts of the city now and the car still followed. That's when he heard the foghorn of a cargo barge, from the Crown River. Crown City had one of the largest deepwater ports in the USA, and barges regularly came in and out through the river. He got an idea and sped towards the bridge over the river. It was raising up to let the barge pass under. He accelerated to top speed, and cried out as a bullet grazed his bicep. Blood seeped out from underneath his leather jacket. He hit the incline and heard the death car behind him. As he reached the apex of the incline, he sped off the edge.

Time seemed to slow for Spike. He could hear the bullets whizzing past him through the air. Another one grazed his cheek and caused his face to explode in agony. Finally, he landed on the other side and managed to stay on his motorcycle. Speeding down the opposite incline, he spared a glance back. All Spike saw was a metallic claw gripping onto the edge of the bridge. He whooped and turned his head back around, only to see a red pickup truck at the base of the inclined bridge. He screamed and tried to slow down, but quickly rammed into the side of the bed and flipped over it. He landed hard on the ground about five feet away. Slowly, he raised his bruised face up and saw that the truck had opened the driver's seat door. Only there was no driver.

Get in boy, Barricade's a comin'!

Yelled a deep southern voice. Spike managed to stand and saw a large black figure running down the inclined bridge. He looked back at the opened door of the truck and once more at the figure, which was looking more and more like a giant robot.

Giant death robot or country talking truck?

Barricade's right servo (hand) transformed into a wicked looking buzzsaw.

    Country talking truck it is!

Spike leaped into the truck headfirst and heard the door shut as soon as his feet cleared it. He raised his head up and saw Barricade raise his buzzsaw.

    Hold on boy!

The truck sped forward, and the buzzsaw sparked against pavement. Barricade snarled and watched Ironhide speed away.

Hmph, damned hick. Always getting in the way of my hunts.

Barricade transformed and went into pursuit of the red mech and his target...

Not bad at all, in fact the description of the quarterback's movements were fantastic. Though for the sake of formatting, I'd recommend using quotations around the dialogue rather than colour coding.

Chapter 1- Close Encounters of the Robotic Kind

((Thanks for the feedback, and for the advice. I'll make sure to do that from now on.))

    Mission City, 11:00 PM

Ironhide revved his engine as hard as it could go. Barricade was gaining on him and he was nowhere near Fort Sam. He was the big guy of the Autobots, not meant to outrun the fast and lithe hunter. Spike had already sat up and Ironhide had forced the seatbelt around him. "Does yer pa know yer out this late?" Ironhide drawled as he narrowly avoided a passing semi truck. "No, or yes, or... wait, you act like you know my dad?" Spike said as he leaned forward in his seat. Sparkplug was an engineer for the Army and an extremely good mechanic. He and his dad would work on restoring old cars over the Summer sometimes. He never knew his dad worked on talking cars though. "Are you some sort of military drone?" Ironhide chuckled a little, though stress was prevalent in the small laugh. His voice came out a little strained as he responded. "Naw, I'm a living being. Like you. Call me Ahrnhide!" "Call you what now?" "I said call me Ahrnhide!" "Ironhide?" "There ya go boy!"

Barricade remained in hot pursuit behind Ironhide. He didn't bother wasting anymore of his machine gun ammo on the big red bot. No, the hunter would slice him in two with his buzzsaws. He sped up and bumped into Ironhide. Barricade growled and transformed, grabbing onto Ironhide with one servo and transforming the other into a buzzsaw. "I have you now!" Just as he began his swing, the mech transformed beneath him. "Eat pulse cannon fragger!" Ironhide yelled as he twisted around and fired his arm mounted Pulse Cannon into the hunter's torso. Barricade flew backwards, crashing into the road and skidding a few more feet back. He groaned and stood, only to see the bruiser charging him. Barricade braced himself and went with the impact, letting Ironhide take him through a fence and over a small cliff. Pain shot through his sensors as they landed, the big lug on top of him and already pummeling his faceplate in. "What *whap* kind of *wham* lowlife *pow* scum messes with a human kid?!" Barricade slashed his buzzsaw across Ironhide's chestplate and managed to shove the mech off of him. He jumped to his feet as soon as Ironhide did. Barricade smirked as his battlemask snapped into place over his mouth. "That human kid holds the answer to finally ending the Autobots..."

Spike groaned and slowly came to. He was laying on the side of the road and was trying to remember how he got there. "That car morphed into a robot, and then Ironhide dumped me out before he started changing too..." Spike shook his head and began stumbling down the road, his injuries getting to him. He heard the sounds of the two robots fighting and followed them. Finally he reached the cliff where they had fallen. Looking below, he saw that they were fighting in the middle of a construction yard. At the edge of the yard was another cliff that fell directly to the sea. Spike saw a wrecking ball attached to one of the vehicles and smiled as an idea formed in his head. Quickly, he began to climb down towards it.

Barricade leapt towards Ironhide, slashing his buzzsaw downwards. Ironhide raised his forearm up, using his cannon to shield him from the blow. He then fire his other pulse cannon into Barricade, knocking the mech backwards. Ironhide grabbed the decepticon by the head and began slamming it into the cliffside before throwing him into a pile of metal pipes. Barricade growled and grabbed one of the pipes, breaking it across Ironhide's head. The mech groaned and was stunned long enough for Barricade to get in a few good cuts with his buzzsaw. "You're done Ironhide, this hunt is over." Barricade snarled as he leapt in the air, fly-kicking Ironhide in the faceplate and causing the red mech to do a backflip through the air, before crashing into the cliffside. Barricade smirked as he retracted his battlemask and began walking slowly towards the near unconscious mech. "You were out of my league before this fight started. Perhaps you should have just stayed in your little hole you call a base." Ironhide groaned and looked up at Barricade from his slumped position against the rock wall. "You don't know nothin' 'bout our base." Barricade laughed as he raised his buzzsaw. "You'd be surprised..."

    "Surprise!"

The wrecking ball slammed into Barricade, sending him sailing through the air and right over the other cliff. He howled as he landed in the water below. Spike whooped from the seat of the vehicle he was in. He quickly climbed down and ran towards Ironhide. "Ironhide! Are you okay?!" Ironhide groaned and then chuckled, standing to his feet. "Do I look okay boy? Come on now, let's get to yer pa." "My dad?" "Yea, yer pa." Ironhide then transformed and Spike climbed inside. "How do you know my dad, or pa?" "He works on us from time to time at our base. Now come on, we need to get to the Fort." "Fort Sam?" "By Primus son, do you ever stop with the questions? Of course Fort Sam!" Ironhide then revved his engine and they drove off into the night...

Sorry it has taken me so long to update this, life has been busy. But here's the next chapter!

    Death Valley, California

Hound brushed some sand off his shoulder plating and sighed as he adjusted his position behind the small sand dune. The green scout had been laying prone behind it for fourteen hours and his gears were aching. "By Primus if this big lug doesn't do anything in the next five minutes I'm out of here, no matter what Prime says." Hound grumbled as he stared at the giant decepticon standing down in the valley. Lugnut had been standing there staring at the sky for forever and Hound had been sent to watch him. Normally Hound would have taken this time to enjoy the Earth's nature around him, but of course Lugnut had chosen Death Valley. Hound got tired of the sand in about five minutes.

"Glorious Megatron, if you could only be here on this rock. You would find the Autobots and crush them with your might! Onslaught keeps us on scouting missions and we accomplish nothing!" Lugnut spoke to the sky, the dim mech was waiting on something. Hound growled and tossed the binoculars he was holding into the sand. "Frag this..." He was preparing to transform and drive away when he heard a sound in the sky. Looking up, Hound gasped as he saw a bright light getting closer, and closer, and closer...

    Crown City Coast

Ironhide drove right off the road and onto the beach, heading straight towards the water. Spike was sitting exhausted in the passenger's seat. The football game and the excitement of the night had drained him. "And that brings us to now." Ironhide said as he drove into the water. The mech had just got done dumping loads of information about the Cybertronian race and their history to Spike. The teenager raised an eyebrow as he saw water rising up to the window's level. He didn't react much though, he was much to tired. "Are you a submarine too Ironhide?" "'Fraid not boy, hold on now."

They were soon fully submerged, Ironhide's cybertronian armor withstanding the pressure. Spike leaned forward and looked out the windshield, where he saw what looked like a large metal door opening. The truck floated through it and soon it was inside an airlock. The water drained out and Ironhide opened his door. Spike stumbled out and leaned against the airlock wall. "Where are we?" He asked as Ironhide transformed. "We're in the airlock of our base. Hold on and Prowl will open up the main door." Soon, another door opened and Spike walked through it with Ironhide following. "Welcome to High Grand boy!" Ironhide said cheerfully.

A white mech descended down a large flight of stairs. Rockets were mounted on his shoulders and a gold visor covered his eyes. He was also a good deal thinner than Ironhide. He regarded Spike coldly before looking at Ironhide. "I'll need a report on your altercation with Barricade. Don't leave out any details." Ironhide chuckled and slapped Prowl on the shoulder. "You'll get yer report and then some Prowl. But first, where is Sparkplug? I got banged up out there and he'll need to know that his son-" "SPIKE! You're alive!" Sparkplug yelled as he ran out of a human sized door. His plaid shirt was soaked with sweat and his hair was a wet mop. "Dad?" Spike said tiredly before he was tackled in a bear hug by his father. "Son! Son oh my God! I was so worried! Prowl said you had been ambushed by a decepticon and oh my God son you're alive!" Spike chuckled and gently pushed his dad off him. "I'm alive and alright dad, calm down. Right now my mind is a little numbed by tonight. I still feel like I'll wake up and this'll all be a dream." He turned and pointed a thumb at Prowl. "I mean, giant alien space robots who turn into cars. Kinda unreal." Sparkplug laughed and put his arm around Spike, leading him to the door he had previously ran out of. "It is pretty unreal son, but you'll get used to it. Come on now, General Freeman has provided a room for you to stay in. We'll talk in the morning. How did the game go..." The humans' voices drifted off as they walked through the door.

Prowl looked at Ironhide, his mouth pulled in a tight line. "Ironhide, Hound reported in from Death Valley about twenty minutes ago. As you know he was keeping an eye on Lugnut to see what he was doing. Well... *sigh*, it'll be easier for you to hear the transmission." Ironhide raised an optic ridge as Prowl pulled out a datapad and pressed a button on it. Immediately Hound's voice boomed from the speakers.

"Holy frag! No no no! Stay back..." Lugnut's voice was heard over the transmission, though there was something primal behind it. "Raaah! For the -grrr- glory of Megatron!!" Hound's voice was head next, full of fright. "Dear Primus what did that stuff do to you!" Gunfire is heard before the transmission cut off. Ironhide met Prowl's gaze and shook his head. "Get Prime, we'll need backup..."

What was coming out of the sky? What did Lugnut take? How long will it take me to update this fic again? Found out next time I decide to write!

Whoa, whatever's happened with Lugnut and Hound has got me interested. I assumed Megatron at first, but now I'm not so sure.

Not much for me to suggest since this was awesome, but it could still use some management with the paragraphing. Usually, dialogue and actions are spaced between the characters and settings, as in:

    ---

"Dad?" Spike said tiredly before he was tackled in a bear hug by his father.

"Son! Son oh my God! I was so worried! Prowl said you had been ambushed by a decepticon and oh my God son you're alive!"

Spike chuckled and gently pushed his dad off him. "I'm alive and alright dad, calm down. Right now my mind is a little numbed by tonight. I still feel like I'll wake up and this'll all be a dream." He turned and pointed a thumb at Prowl. "I mean, giant alien space robots who turn into cars. Kinda unreal."

Sparkplug laughed and put his arm around Spike, leading him to the door he had previously ran out of. "It is pretty unreal son, but you'll get used to it. Come on now, General Freeman has provided a room for you to stay in. We'll talk in the morning. How did the game go..."

    ---

As opposed to one large paragraph. It better organizes your sentences and makes things easier to read.

Other than that, things are pretty darn interesting, and I'm looking forward to reading more. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback and advice Coffee.

Death Valley, California- Two Hours after Hound's transmission

"Are we there yet?" Bumblebee asked as he, Ironhide, and Prowl blazed a trail across the desert in their altmodes. Bee, the youngest member of the team, was positioned in the back of the bot's triangle formation, beside Ironhide while Prowl was on point.

"Bumblebee, if you ask that question one more time, I swear I'm going to do something very un-autobot like to you." Prowl growled out as he tried to stay cool. The yellow mech had been pestering him with that question for the past hour.

"Prowl, Bee, Ah see something green!" Ironhide said over the comms before peeling off from formation and towards what he saw.

"Ironhide! Did I not say to keep formation even when you-" The sound of Bumblebee revving his engine and following Ironhide drowned out Prowl's voice. The second in command of the bunch sighed and followed, opening his comm to Optimus. "Prime sir, Ironhide thinks he's found Hound. You can tell your pilot to come to our location."

The group arrived at what Ironhide had saw, and indeed it was Hound. The green bot was torn open in the middle, wires hanging out and sparking and energon pooled around him. Some sand had piled up inside the large wound. Dents and cuts littered the rest of his body.

"I think I'm gonna be sick!" Bumblebee exclaimed before putting his arm over his mouth. Ironhide lowered his head and averted his optics while Prowl kneeled down and put his servo on the scout's chestplate. "He- Hound was a good soldier. He knew the risks and the-" "*cough*"

Hound coughed once again and groaned, lighting up his optics and weakly looking at Prowl. "*cough* I'm not dead yet prick *cough*" He smirked and tried to sit up but yelped in pain and laid back down.

"Ha! You're alive buddy!" Bumblebee exclaimed, his previous disgust gone. Ironhide chuckled with delight while Prowl grimaced and shrugged off the prick comment. He and the scout had never really got along. Of course, even Prowl didn't want to see him dead.

"Hound, I want a report on what happened... if you can give it right now of course." Prowl said. Hound nodded weakly and began to speak.

"So, I was watching *cough* ole Luggy as ordered, when all of the sudden *cough* some bright thing fell out of the sky. It looked sorta like an energon cube *cough* but it was glowing pink instead of blue. Lugnut sang some praises to Megatron *cough* before he picked up the cube and, well, that's when I fired on him-"

"You fired on a mech twenty feet taller than you?" Bumblebee asked incredulously. "Thought you had more sense than that Hound."

"I thought *cough* with the element of surprise I could take him down. So anyways *cough* I fired on him with my minigun. He *cough* was mildly annoyed and fired a missile at my position. *cough* I dodged pretty fragging easily but that's when it went all down hill. *cough* he like, absorbed part of the cube and started glowing with some strange aura. I *cough* fired again but this time my bullets just bounced off. He came at me with speeds that *cough* I know he couldn't achieve before. He was still shouting praises to Megatron."

" Well, that part sounds normal... the praising Megatron part I mean." Bumblebee said before shrinking down after seeing the look Prowl gave him. Prowl sighed and rubbed a servo across his visor, clearing the gathering sand on it. "I suppose that's when you commed base?"

"Yeah, after that he started tearing me apart. That axe of his, it did this to me." Hound pointed at his ripped midsection before coughing again and dropping his head to the sand, his optics dimming.

"He's low on Energon Prowl, it's best we get him back to base now. I'll call Sparkplug and tell him to be ready." Ironhide said before activating his comm and sending the message to Sparkplug.

Prowl stood and shook his head. "So the Decepticons on Earth have some sort of super fuel delivered from the heavens? Great, just when I thought this war couldn't be more unfair."

"Um guys, Optimus wasn't riding around in a bomber right?" Bumblebee asked while looking towards the sky, a scared expression on his faceplate. "No Bee, he was in one of those military helicopters. You know his altmode doesn't perform well in the desert. Why?" Ironhide asked before also looking to the sky. That's when he got his answer.

Lugnut transformed and landed in front of the autobot group. He was no longer glowing, but the gargantuan decepticon was still a major threat. Behind him, a military artillery truck came to a stop and transformed into Onslaught, feared leader of the Combaticons. Beside him, Barricade transformed into robot mode and sneered at Ironhide. The dent from the wrecking ball was noticeable on his right shoulder.

"So it seems you now know of our little asset? Ore-13, the best thing Decepticon scientists ever made." Onslaught said before cracking his knuckle joints. The two artillery cannons on his back clicked as rounds loaded into them.

"Onslaught, it seems you're leading this ragtag bunch then? What happened to your old team of goons then?" Prowl asked as the missiles on his shoulder aimed themselves at Onslaught. Ironhide smirked at Barricade while loading his pulse cannons and Bumblebee hopped around on the balls of his feet, his fists raised.

Onslaught chuckled. "On an assignment around Gigantion last time I heard from them. Megatron has me assigned here on a special mission. Finding you bots was just an extra surprise. Now, less talk and more killing. Combaticons... er I mean Decepticons, slaughter!"

Lugnut praised Megatron once more before swinging his axe at Prowl. The police bot nimbly dodged it, backflipping out of the way. "Autobots! Our priority is to protect Hound until Optimus arrives!" He then fired both his missiles at Lugnut. The titan roared and stumbled backwards from the impact and explosions from the missiles.

Bumblebee extended his two Stinger blades from his wrist and charged Barricade, parrying his buzzsaw strike with his right blade and stabbing at the mech's midsection with his left. Barricade grabbed his forearm and grunted as he halted the bot's stab. He planted a kick right into Bee's knee, causing the bot to fall. While on the way down, Bee was kneed in the faceplate by Barricade, causing him to fly backwards.

Ironhide was meanwhile engaged with Onslaught, the two exchanging blows with their fists. "Ah thought you were better than this 'Slaught! Leading a few cons! What happened to the old you? The commander of an army?" Ironhide taunted while slugging Onslaught in the faceplate.

Onslaught stumbled back from the blow before retaliating by tackling Ironhide to the ground. While on top of the mech, he rained down blows. "The frag are you talking about bot?!" Ironhide put up his arms in defense. "You know exactly what I'm talking about. The first Great War! How did Megatron go from being yer lackey to yer boss?!" Onslaught growled and continued to pummel Ironhide's faceplate.

Ironhide grunted and with force, threw Onslaught off of him. He stood and wiped leaking energon off of his faceplate. "Onslaught, former commander of the Combaticon Army. Defeated, humiliated, then forced under the command of his former soldier. How pathetic..."

Onslaught stood and roared, losing all sense of tactics as he charged Ironhide. The red mech smirked and sidestepped, pointing the barrel of his pulse cannon at Onslaught's back as he charged by and fired. The decepticon slammed into a sand dune and laid there, motionless.

Ironhide chuckled. "Works every time." He then turned to survey the battle and see where he could help. Prowl was fending off Lugnut alright, the nimble bot climbing up the cyclops and using his momentum to swing on his head and bring him down.

Bumblebee jumped up off the ground and quickly blocked Barricade's furious buzzsaw assault with his Stinger blades. Barricade growled and raised his saw, bringing it down with great force on the yellow mech. Bumblebee dropped to a knee, raising his blades above his head and crossing them, grunting as Barricade's buzzsaw impacted on them.

"Die! Die! Die!" Barricade chanted as he repeatedly slammed the saw down on the mech. Bumblebee gulped when he heard his blades start to crack. With a shout of determination, Bee rose up the next time Barricade slammed his saw down. He uncrossed his blades and forced the outwards, causing Barricades arms to splay out. Taking his opening, Bumblebee sliced his left blade across Barricade's throat. Energon spewed from the wound and sparks flew out of his mouth. Bumblebee had hit the con's vococorder.

"Frag *crackle* you!" Barricade spat in a gravely voice before lunging at Bumblebee. His attack was interrupted by Ironhide's pulse cannon, which blasted the mech twenty feet away. Ironhide chuckled as he blew smoke away from the tip of the cannon's barrel. "Ah really hate that guy."

Lugnut roared and rose from the ground, raising his arm to block Prowl's shurikens. The metal stars stuck into his forearm armor. He grabbed his axe from the ground and slammed it down towards Prowl, who rolled out of the way and fired energy blasts from his Energon Pistol.

"Ironhide, Bumblebee! Help now!" Prowl ordered hastily before dodging another one of Lugnut's axe strikes. "Oh, where the frag is Prime?!" Prowl wondered aloud before firing again at the titan.

Overhead, a large Osprey helicopter flew over the battleground. The cargo bay door opened and a red and blue semi truck rolled out. It transformed in midair, the robot's blue optics focused on Lugnut below him. Optimus Prime landed on top of the mech, forcing him to the ground before rolling off and pulling out his Ion Blaster. "Autobots... attack!" Optimus commanded before firing multiple blasts at the titan.

Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Prowl similarly opened fire with their guns. Lugnut roared against the firepower and tried to shield himself and stand up. "For... the... GLORY OF MEGATRON!!" He roared as he raised his fist, explosives lining the wrist. "THE PUNCH OF KILL EVERYTHING!!" He slammed his fist into the ground.

Bumblebee's optics widened and he tried to shield himself as the explosion overtook him and the other bots. When he came back online, the Decepticons were gone. A large crater was where Lugnut used to be. "Dear Primus, he didn't blow himself up did he?!"

"No Bumblebee" Optimus said as he helped the scout to his feet. "I've saw him use that attack before. He himself is shielded from the blast. They must have retreated though, why I do not know." He turned to the other recovering Autobots. "Autobots, we have a severely wounded comrade. It's time we return to base so he can get repairs..."

The first major battle has taken place between the Earthen Autobots and Decepticons. What is this mysterious Ore-13, and who has delivered it to the Decepticons? Also, where was Vanquish during all this?

Damn... I'm really interested in Onslaught-- and whoever supplied the Ore-13 of course.

Well, after a while I've finally got the energy to update this. This chapter will be rather long and hopefully develop some of the characters more. Enjoy...

The Darkness Incarnate- Decepticon Stealth Ship

Onslaught stared out the viewport and at the Earth below. It rotated slowly and looked beautiful to the Combaticon. ~Too bad we will raze it until it is nothing more than a charred rock...~ He heard the door open to the cock-pit behind him and he turned around. It was Mixmaster.

Onslaught had always felt sorry for the scientist. He had been subjected to the Empurata punishment after an attempted rebellion by the Constructicons a while back. Mixmaster had been spared because of his position as a scientist, but the rest of the Constructicons had been publicly executed as an example. Scrapper had even offered Onslaught a role in the rebellion, though the Combaticon knew what the outcome would be.

"Commander Onslaught, the Ore-13 testing is near complete. The data gathered from the battle on Earth was most helpful." Mixmaster said, emotion devoid in his voice. Onslaught sighed "Thank you Mixmaster, that'll be all." Mixmaster nodded and walked back out.

The mech turned back and stared once again out the viewport. This time he saw Cybertron, but before craters and charred buildings marked it's surface. Back when it was lively and peaceful.

    ~How pathetic...~

Ironhide's words crossed through Onslaught's processor. He clenched his fists and growled a little. On the surface of the planet, he saw himself in his old body. He was riding in a drop-ship along with Swindle, Blast-Off, and Brawl. Vortex was flying it. They were en-route to Iacon, their army below them and aerial support beside them. They would take the capital and overthrow the government.

Onslaught frowned and his growl deepened. He saw the first mortars launch over the city wall. The fiery blasts decimated their ground forces. After a few shellings, the Combaticon army was retreating. The aerial forces were mostly destroyed by the Anti-Aircraft turrets on the wall, and Onslaught's own dropship had crashed. The war ended right there in a few cycles. The Iacon Wall hadn't even been touched.

Onslaught slammed his fist into the view-port, the transparent plasti-steel not even cracking. He and the ones on the dropship were the only survivors. They were captured and put through a trial. It was decided that instead of execution, they would have their sparks and processors removed from their body and placed in suspended animation for the rest of their lives. Denying them even the passing on to the Pits.

Onslaught continued pounding on the viewport, roaring as he did. He remembered waking up inside a new body, one even bigger than his last. Megatron's face looming over him, telling him that he had been revived to serve him.

    ~Serve him...~

The plasti-steel viewport broke and began sucking out things in the cockpit. Onslaught held on and continued roaring, though his roaring was silenced by the vacuum of space. A forcefield appeared where the viewscreen used to be.

"Uh sir, *crackle* incoming report *buzzzz* from Vanquish..." Barricade said awkwardly in the doorway of the cockpit. Onslaught turned and nodded, heaving a little as he vented in and out. "Patch him through to the cock-pit holo-com." Barricade nodded and pressed a few buttons on a datapad. Immediately a hologram of the stealth agent appeared on the console.

"Commander Onslaught, I'm reporting in. Hound is getting repaired by two humans, and they seem to actually be doing a good job of it. He may recover. The other Autobots are meeting in the main Command Center. How are things on your side?" The smooth and quiet voice of Vanquish said.

" Lugnut is being repaired by the CR chamber. These Autobots are tougher than we anticipated, though the Ore-13 definetly gave Lugnut an edge. Also, the time we have been waiting for is almost upon us. Move to the Autobot's energon storage room and prepare for Operation Endgame. Our next conversation will be my orders to initiate. Onslaught out." The commander clicked the End button on the console and the hologram blinked out. He then turned to Barricade. "Send a comm to High Command. Tell them to ready the Annihilation Fleet."

Barricade nodded and turned to leave, before asking a final question. "Should I *grissssh* tell Lord *crackle* Megatron that the *buzzzz* Prime is here?" Onslaught thought for a moment, before shaking his head. "No, we will deal with the Prime..."

    Autobot Base

"Wow dad, never knew repairing a half-dead robot alien could be so much fun!" Spike said sarcastically as he used a wrench to tighten a screw on a loose piece of Hound's armor. "Aw, quit your complaining Spike. You were happy to do it when Hound was first brought in! Said you wanted to save a life!" Sparkplug retorted.

"Yeah, that was before I knew it would take six hours..." Spike muttered before moving on to the next screw. They had already stabilized and repaired Hound's internals. Or at least Sparkplug had. He had experience working with Cybertronian bio-technology. Spike meanwhile had been fixing Hound's armor.

"I think he'll make a full recovery, especially with the fine job you been doing with his armor. You've almost got that gash sealed up!" Sparkplug said. Spike smiled at his dad's compliment before continuing to work on the armor. Doing this reminded him of when he was younger and he and his dad would work on cars when Sparkplug was off from the Military Base. They had the best times doing that.

"Son, can you toss me that screwdriver..."

    Autobot Base- Command Center

Prowl sighed and looked at the bots below him. They were all conversing, even Prime. Meanwhile Prowl was doing what he usually did, scan the humans' frequency waves on the main computer to see if he could pick up any decepticon frequencies. He kept picking up an odd one inside base, but dismissed it as a soldier using his cell-phone.

"Prime, you don't think there could be more Decepticons do you? We've been out of contact with Cybertron for so long..." Bumblebee wondered as he looked at Prime.

"I do not know Bumblebee, but if there are, we can only hope that there are just as many Autobots..." Optimus replied. His leader's commanding yet gentle voice soothed the young mech and he eased up a bit. Usually Optimus was more distant, the thoughtful type. Bumblebee knew the mech had a long history before becoming Prime, but you could rarely get the big red guy to talk about it. Ironhide was about the only one who knew of Prime's past. They had been squad mates.

Ironhide looked at his old friend and saw something in his optics that the mech hadn't seen in a while. Worry. "Bumblebee, go check on the Energon storage room. Prime and Ah need to talk..." Bumblebee raised an optic ridge before saluting and walking towards the exit.

Optimus sighed and rubbed his forehead with his servo. "What is it Ironhide?" "What is it? What's with ya Optimus? Yer optics look worried."

"I'm worried about Earth, Ironhide. Worried that we won't be enough to protect it." "Prime, ya saw how much aft we kicked out there. Those lousy cons can't take us." Optimus smiled sadly a bit behind his faceplate. "No Ironhide, not that small group of Decepticons. The larger force. You saw how the other ships were gunned down in the Exodus. In the most likely case, the Decepticons have won the war and taken over Cybertron, if not the galaxy. If the entire force comes here, much less with that new power-up they have, we will not be able to stop them."

Ironhide smiled and patted Optimus' shoulder. "It's not just us Prime, we have the humans. They've been developing weapons meant to take out Decepticons. They'll stand with us." He said, looking through the doorway into the next room where Spike and Sparkplug were repairing Hound. "Besides, I'm sure that we aren't the last remaining Autobots in the galaxy..."

    Elba- Garrus-9 Prison Complex

An old mech sat in a darkened cell, a cy-gar dangling from his lip. His head looked downwards at the floor and his arms were crossed on his knees. His green armor had dulled with age and rust had begun forming on it. He looked up as his cell door opened.

"Alright old man, Execution time! Bout time you passed on..."

Kup smiled and took the cy-gar out, smothering it on the bench he was sitting on.

    ~The kid's plan better work...~

And that's the end of the chapter! Hope you enjoyed that little cliff-hanger...

Well, lucky for you, you won't have to wait long. Btw, here is the visual reference for Kup.

His face is G1 though and the headlights and windshield are gone.

    Elba- Garrus-9 Prison Complex

The courtyard of the prison was bleak. The ground was colored orangish red and gray walls surrounded it. Normally guards would have been posted all over it, but not today, not on Execution Day. Kup allowed the two decepticons behind him to shove him forward. Ahead he could see the line of other Autobots kneeling in front of the execution platform.

Hot-Rod, Arcee, Nautica, Sideswipe, and Rook. So far so good...

Kup thought as he was forced onto his knees besides Hot-Rod. He

Kup was the biggest bot of the bunch. Some put him on terms with Ironhide, at least when Kup was in his prime.

"Old timer, you sure your joints can handle this?" Hot-Rod asked with a smirk on his faceplate. Kup continued to stare forward at the platform.

"These joints have handled a lot worse than this many times before kid. Like this time on Zeltrax-7..."

Kup was cut off by the sound of the other inmates entering the courtyard. A few gasped when they saw who had been chosen to be executed.

"An old man?! Really?!" A few yelled but they were quickly quieted by the guards as a small decepticon hopped onto the platform. Blackjack, the former chestpiece of Menasor turned head-guard. He held a microphone in his servo.

"Welcome Auto-scum! You all know what day it is, especially you six in front of the platform! It's the annual execution day! The day where we slowly deplete the rest of your forces just so you can continue to suffer for your crimes against the Decepticon Empire. And the best part is, this happens in prisons across the galaxy!"

Blackjack announced in a mockingly happy manner. Kup hated the mech. He had a swelled head for such a little body.

"Just hold on a little longer Kup..."

Hot-Rod whispered to him. Blackjack motioned to the six in front of the platform.

"These six have been chosen by special calculations of how rambunctious each prisoner was, how rude they were to the guards, and by how many escape attempts they've had. These six are the worst of the worst... however there is someone... worster..."

Kup raised an optic ridge. "The frag is he on about?" Hot-Rod shrugged. "That's not even a real word."

"Sunstreaker! You've been chosen as a surprise execution! You've been causing trouble since day one, and since your brother is about to die, we figured it'd be fun to throw you in the bunch!"

Gasps went throughout the crowd as guards went into it and grabbed onto Sunstreaker, pulling him up to the platform. The yellow mech growled and struggled as he was forced to his knees. Sideswipe called out.

"Sunstreaker! You sons of glitches better not touch him!" He tried to stand but a guard forced him back down. Sunstreaker looked at Sideswipe as the executioner approached. "Don't lose hope bro! I'm too good to die!" But his optics were showing defeat.

"Primus! Kup, we gotta launch the plan now." Hot-Rod whispered in earnest. Kup shook his head though his optics remained glued to Sunstreaker. "The only way this works is if Rook gets up there. You said it yourself kid."

The executioner placed a box attached to a long handle over Sunstreaker's head. A dial was on the side of the box. Blackjack smirked as he placed his finger on it.

"You all know this device. The thermo-box! I twist this dial up and it gets pretty hot in there for Streaker! I keep going, and it gets insanely hot in there! I twist it to the max, his head melts! Let's get started!"

"No! Not my brother you sons of glitches! Not him!" Sideswipe yells as the guard begins to beat him. Blackjack smiles evilly and begins slowly turning the dial. Sunstreaker's painful screams were heard across the silent courtyard.

Blackjack's smile never left his face as he turned it up to almost the max, before stopping and taking his hand off the dial. Kup's optics widened.

"He's not finishing the job, he's making Sunstreaker suffer longer!" He yelled angrily. Sideswipe began cursing Blackjack as the prisoners remained silent. Finally, Sunstreaker's head melted and the executioner holding the handle lifted the box up. The headless corpse fell forward, the stump of it's neck still smoking.

The courtyard was silent except for Sideswipe's continued screaming as another name was called.

"Rook! Please step up here now for your scheduled death!" Blackjack said with mock glee as the big bot was escorted onto the platform. He kneeled in front of the executioner and the box was lifted above his head.

"Three... two... one..." Kup counted before Rook kicked the plan into action. Both of the mech's servos suddenly fell off, along with the cuffs. Rook then stood and knocked away one of the guards with his forearms. The guard dropped his gun and Rook quickly attached it to his right port. Now a gun was in the place of the hand. He fired a shot into the other guard's head before killing the executioner.

Everyone was stunned until Nautica stood. "Prison riot!" She yelled, and that was all that was needed. Guards were overrun by rage filled autobot inmates. Rook quickly leaped off the platform and behind the group. He fired a shot through each of the cuffs, releasing them.

"Let's move!" Hot-Rod said. "The Warden's ship is parked in the hangar and we've got to get there before the security doors close!" The group began to run for the doors until Kup noticed Sideswipe was missing. "Hold up!" He yelled before turning, spotting the mech on top of the platform with Blackjack by the throat.

"You're gonna burn Blackjack!" The bot said before slamming the small con down on the stage. Blackjack tried to crawl away, but Sideswipe stepped on his back. "You're gonna feel what Sunstreaker felt. What my brother felt!" He picked up the Thermo-Box and placed it over the screaming Blackjack's head. He set the dial to "slow-burn" before kicking the con one more time and hopping off the platform and running towards the group. "Let's move!"

Kup looked at Sideswipe and shook his head.

    This prison has tainted us...

He had saw some dark stuff, but Sideswipe leaving Blackjack to slowly feel his head melt ranked up with the darkest.

As the group reached the door, four guards blocked the way. Arcee held her arms out and the group stopped. She sashayed up to the guards, who were looking her up and down. She smiled and put her hand on the cheek of the nearest guard.

"You don't want to shoot me, do you? Why, I don't like mechs who shoot me. Especially when they're so... good looking. Makes it hard to hate you." She said seductively. The guard next to him pointed his gun at her, put she simply placed her fingertip on the muzzle and flicked it away before putting her hand on his shoulder.

"Come on now big boy, why not have some fun first?" She said as he guard grinned happily. Arcee then smirked, slapping the guard in the face and grabbing his gun. She ducked beneath the ensuing gunfire from the three other guards and quickly picked them off. She then dropped the gun and grabbed the remaining guard by the back of the head.

"It's been fun..." She kissed him before slamming his shocked faceplate into her knee, knocking him out with a bam. The team stood shocked as she motioned for them to follow. "You didn't have to kiss him..." Muttered a jealous Hot-Rod as they moved into the hallways.

"Here, the entrance to the hangar!" Yelled Nautica as she opened a big door. Inside was the warden's ship, a medium sized one with enough energon on board to keep the group supported for a while. They quickly moved towards it, when all of the sudden the entrance ramp lowered. Three decepticon troopers stepped off and behind them, the Warden. Overlord. The towering mech smirked as he stepped off the ramp.

"A valiant escape attempt, but sadly it ends here. You will all be executed privately, right now." Overlord said sadistically before pulling out his sword. The troopers aimed at the group and opened fire. They all scattered to avoid the shots.

"Bots! Let Rook, Hot-Rod and I handle these cons! Nautica, get onboard and hotwire the ship, Sideswipe get in the pilot seat and Arcee get the weapons systems online!" Kup ordered before peaking over the crates he had dived behind, just in time to see Overlord's sword swinging right at his head.

Kup yelped and ducked, the blade slicing off the tops of the crates. "You die now old timer!" He swung the sword again and this time scratched the surface of Kup's chestplate. The old mech growled. "You better watch who you say old timer to, youngin." He charged into Overlord, taking them mech by surprise and tackling him to the ground.

Kup glanced up and saw that Hot-Rod and Rook were taking care of the troopers while the others got aboard. Unfortunately, this glance had stolen from Kup the moment he had while Overlord was still stunned. The warden growled and grabbed Kup, throwing him off from on top of him. Both mechs stood, Overlord had dropped his sword when Kup tackled him. They charged at one another, a fist-fight ensuing.

Hot-Rod yipped and yelled as he danced around the trooper's shots. This seemed like a game to the young mech. The big and silent Rook however made barely any moves to dodge the fire. His heavy armor was taking the blasts with ease. He moved up close to the trooper and grabbed the barrel of the gun, crushing it with ease before doing the same with the terrified trooper's head.

Hot-Rod smirked and jumped in front of a trooper, sticking his metal tongue out at him. The trooper growled and fired only for Hot-Rod to duck and cause the bullet to hit the guard behind him. Hot-Rod grinned as Rook came up behind the surprised trooper and repeating the head crushing technique. "Atta way big guy!"

Kup groaned as Overlord landed another blow on his faceplate. The old mech wasn't as fast as he used to be, but his punches still packed some power. He ducked underneath the warden's next punch and unleashed a flurry of punches into the mech's mid-section before upper-cutting the mech's jaw.

Overlord grinned and wiped away the energon at the corner of his mouth. "You fight hard old-timer, but it's not enough." He kicked Kup into a pile of crates and walked over to him. Overlord raised his fists into the air and brought them down hard on Kup. The mech yelped in pain as Overlord brought them down again, and again.

    "Kup! Catch!"

The sergeant heard this and weakly looked to where the voice came from. It was the kid, and he was tossing one of the trooper's guns into the air. Kup smirked and yelled, punching Overlord hard in the gut. The mech doubled-over and Kup upper-cutted his faceplate and got in two more good blows before catching the gun.

"See ya later punk!" He opened fire on Overlord, but the shots bounced off the huge mech's armor. The warden looked at Kup and chuckled. "Bad luck it seems. How you came so close to escaping..." Overlord picked up his sword and moved towards Kup, raising it into the air.

    BLAM! BLAM!

Two blasts from a heavy-cannon were heard. Overlord was suddenly thrown forward, Kup quickly rolling out of the way. The con landed in a pile of crates, two smoking holes in his back. Kup looked forward and smiled. Arcee was sitting inside the gun-turret on the ship and waving from the view-port. "I got the weapons online!" She yelled through the glass."

Nautica appeared on the entrance ramp. "Let's go mechs!" Hot-Rod, Rook, and Kup all ran up the ramp as the ship began to rise. They all gathered in the cock-pit, Nautica strapping in beside Sideswipe.

"Preparing for blast-off. Arcee get ready to blast anything that shoots at us!" Sideswipe said as he eased the ship forward and out of the hangar. He angled it upwards and hit the thrusters. Everyone was thrown back as the ship shot upwards. "Entering atmosphere... alright we're through!"

Everyone cheered as Hot-Rod announced "Freedom!" Sideswipe smiled sadly from the pilot's seat. Nautica patted his shoulder comfortingly. "Where to now?" Rook asked Kup. The green mech looked out the viewport.

"We find the nearest comm station, hack into it and figure out what the hell has been going on in the galaxy..."

A damn shame about Sunstreaker, but Kup is awesome, and I especially liked his line about the prison tainting them. Also OVERLORD, I wasn't expecting him, and his fight was really good.

Thank you for the feedback! Now, onto the next chapter!

    Autobot Base- Energon Storage Room

Bumblebee sighed as he entered the storage room. He knew the real reason Ironhide had sent him away was so he could talk with Optimus. This wasn't the first time something like that had happened either. Just last week Prowl had sent him away to "mingle with the fleshlings" while he and the other three had some meeting.

They excluded him because he was young. That was how Bumblebee felt. He hated it. The mech wanted to feel included, and the only one who treated him as an equal was Hound. The two scouts had bonded on Earth and become the human equivalent of "best friends".

Bumblebee was also good at hiding his true emotions. That's why the mech didn't seem too upset when he heard Hound was in trouble. On the inside, his spark was shaking in fear. What if the only one who respected him was dead?

He came out of his thoughts long enough to notice something. All the energon cubes were gone.

    "What the-"

    Shhhink

Bumblebee gulped and looked down to see a blade sticking out of his mid-section. The young mech then collapsed, energon pooling around him.

Vanquish uncloaked and smiled evilly. He had already transwarped all the Autobot's energon to the Darkness Incarnate and had been setting up for the kick-off of Operation Endgame. The young Autobot arriving had given the mech the most sadistic idea.

Why not even the odds before the fun starts?

He had thought when Bumblebee walked in. That's what led him to stab the Autobot in the back. But the wound hadn't killed him. The young mech groaned and tried to roll over, but Vanquish grabbed him and threw him against a wall.

"Alright kiddo, time to have some fun!" Vanquish exclaimed before extending one of his wrist blades...

    The Darkness Incarnate

Mixmaster silently stood in front of the computer screen, using two control sticks to move around tiny dots on the screen. In reality, the tiny dots were the atoms of the energon Vanquish had supplied and their small amount of Ore-13. Mixmaster was trying to mix them together and turn the energon into the power-up.

It was why they were sent to Earth in the first place, to research a way to make Ore-13 out of normal energon. The planet was rich in energon after all. Finding one of the remaining Autobot cells was just a plus, an extra plus that the Prime was among them.

Mixmaster was not doing this out of loyalty to Megatron though. No, he hated the mech. Megatron had killed his brothers. He did this because of his love of science. That's why he had locked away his zany personality, so Megatron would spare him and allow him to continue in his passion.

A light beeped green as the atoms on the screen merged. Mixmaster would have grinned if he still had a face.

"Commander Onslaught, I have successfully synthesized more Ore-13. We may began Operation Endgame now."

Onslaught grinned when he got the comm. He turned to Barricade.

"Barricade, eta on the annihilation fleets arrival?"

Barricade checked the most recent transmission from the fleet before reporting to Onslaught. "About six *buzzz* Earth hours."

Onslaught nodded before motioning towards the lab where Mixmaster was. "Lugnut, Barricade, go get some Ore-13 in your systems. We'll need it to take care of those bots." Both of the decepticons nodded and walked off to the lab.

Onslaught smiled once more and contacted Vanquish. "It's time, let the Autobots know with a bang." He ended the comm and stared out the viewport. All he could see was the lush planet in flames...

    Autobot Base- Energon Storage Room

::It's time, let the Autobots know with a bang...::

Vanquish grinned when he received the comm from Onslaught. He looked down at the bleeding autobot at his feet. "Well kiddo I have to go!" He then walked towards a wall, tossing a device casually to the floor. "It's been real fun, well, more for me than you. But I'm sure you'll have more fun next time! Oh wait, there won't be a next time... HAHAHA-"

Vanquish's maniacal laughter was cut off by him being trans-warped out. Bumblebee lay bleeding on the floor. Cuts and scratches were all over his body. One of his optics had been stabbed out. Weakly, he opened his remaining optic and began trying to crawl for the door.

He reached it and pulled himself up to the control panel, only to see that Vanquish had destroyed it. He groaned and sat against the wall, only to hear a beeping from the middle of the room. The young mech saw it was from the device Vanquish had thrown down. He then realized it to be a bomb.

His optics widened as the count-down came to an end...

    Oh man... Bumblebee...

Well, Mixmaster is cool. I like how there's a real importance to his role despite being a constructicon.

Sorry for taking so long in between updates.

Autobot Base- Hallway Outside Energon Storage Room

Ironhide was worried about Bumblebee. The mech didn't expect the yellow bot to take so long checking the energon. Heck, he half expected to find Bumblebee pulling a prank on some soldiers instead of following orders.

He reached the outside of the door and paused. Ironhide was hearing a strange clawing sound on the other side of the door. Almost as if someone was trying to get out.

"Bee? You didn't forget how the doors work did ya?"

He said with a slight chuckle before he heard a loud...

    BOOM

Ironhide yelped as the door was blown off its hinges and slammed into him, pinning him against the wall. He slowly pushed the door off him and threw it to the side, only to see a sight that horrified him. Bumblebee was laying in front of him and was blown half to scrap.

The mech's armor was mostly gone, with the parts remaining burned beyond use. One of the mech's optics had been stabbed out and the other was cracked from the explosion.

    "By Unicron's beard..."

Ironhide looked to his right to see Prowl standing there. Optimus was behind him.

"Ironhide, get Bumblebee to the medical bay. We don't have much time by the looks. This was an attack by the Decepticons. An opening statement. We must be prepared for what comes next."

Optimus said as he watched Ironhide pick up Bumblebee and sprint towards the medbay. Prowl walked inside the destroyed storage room and sighed.

"Fraggit Prime! I thought we were done with this war! So far away from Cybertron, and yet conflict still finds us."

Prowl vented. Optimus placed a hand on his shoulder as he walked up next to him. "The Decepticons will pay for this. Barricade chasing Spike must have been a trick to allow a saboteur to find our base. This room may not be the only one that was rigged to blow."

Prowl shrugged Prime's hand off and walked even further into the room. "The saboteur also stole all our energon. Prime, the energon that was in this room was the only remaining energon on Earth! The decepticons now have a good supply of energon and that Ore-13 stuff, and now Bumblebee is out of commision! The odds are stacked against us. Even with the humans' support we will be wiped out. The decepticons win."

Optimus sighed. "The decepticons won when we left Cybertron Prowl. Now I fear that their tyranny has spread across the galaxy. We will make a last stand here when the time comes. In the end, one shall stand-"

"And one shall fall, yeah yeah yeah Prime. If I had a shanix for every time you've spouted that..." Prowl said with frustration clear in his voice as he turned and walked out.

Optimus shook his head and was about to leave the room when he received a comm from General Freeman.

"Prime! Decepticons are attacking the base! Get your metal asses up here now!"

Optimus' optics widened. The Decepticons were attacking above ground first to destroy their human support. He turned and ran towards the medbay where the other bots were...

    Autobot Base- Medbay

Spike and Sparkplug quickly began hooking up Bumblebee to an Energon IV drip. Hound sat worriedly beside the stasis-locked mech as the two humans rushed to save him. Ironhide stood silently beside the door, leaning against the wall. That was when Prowl stormed in.

"Cut the energon drip, we don't have enough left to spare. Besides, we'd have to almost completely rebuild him. It's best just to let him pass." He said to Sparkplug. The human scowled at Prowl. "Listen up police bot. As long as I'm the mechanic of the Autobots I'm not letting a bot die! Spike, get another drip hooked up. Bee needs as much energon as possible! He's lost a lot already!" Spike nodded and went to grab another tube to hook up to Bee.

Prowl angrily slammed his fist down next to Sparkplug. "Damn you human! We don't have the resources to spare to save Bumblebee! Now turn off the-"

Prowl was cut off by a punch to the face by a recovered Hound. "If you don't shut it now, I swear I will do it for you... prick." The green bot growled. Prowl stared daggers into him. "By saving him you are dooming us." He said with cold fury. "Bee isn't just a number Prowl, he's my friend. I'd gladly give my life up for his."

Ironhide got in between the two and spread his arms out. "Now hold up here. No need fer fightin' in the medbay."

Optimus then ran in before pointing at the door. "Autobots! The above ground military base is under attack by Decepticons! Now is our final stand! Transform and roll out!"

Ironhide transformed and sped away towards the elevator. Prowl and Hound looked at each other with hatred before transforming and following Ironhide. Optimus looked at the comatose form of Bumblebee before nodding at Sparkplug and transforming. He roared after the other Autobots.

    New Kaon- Decepticon Throne Room

Megatron sighed as he lounged on his throne, pondering what to do. Since conquering most of the known galaxy, the tyrant was bored. He missed the days of dueling Optimus as a battle raged around them. Spouting one-liners to each other. Back then it seemed that it would never stop. Then the Exodus happened. Thinking of seeing all those starships crash to the ground always brought a smile to Megatron's faceplate. Yet Optimus' shuttle had escaped. Where had the mech and his crew gone?

    "Lord Megatron?"

The voice of Runabout brought Megatron out of his thoughts. "What is it Runabout?"

"We have received a report from Onslaught's team. They have discovered an Autobot cell on Earth. An Annihilation Fleet has been deployed to the planet."

An Autobot cell on Earth? That backwater planet was a perfect hiding spot. Why had Megatron not thought to search there before? If his nemesis was hiding anywhere it would be there. Besides, it only made sense for Onslaught not to mention Prime. The Combaticon wanted the glory of killing the leader all to himself.

    ~No, only I will kill Optimus Prime....~

"Runabout, go and get your brother. You will accompany me to this Earth where we will assist Onslaught's team in eradicating the Autobots."

Runabout nodded and turned to walk out before pausing. "Sir, what of the Annihilation Fleet?" Megatron sighed. "Order them to delay their arrival until we have destroyed the Autobot cell. Now leave me. I will meet you in the hangar in two solar-cycles. Be late, and I kill you and your fellow Battlecharger."

Runabout nodded before running out to get Runamuck. Megatron then grinned.

~Finally Optimus, you and I will have a proper final showdown...

Also, a visual reference for Megatron...

Nice to see Sparkplug being a real use for the Autobots as their Engineer. God I loved it when Hound punched the crap out of Prowl.

Now Megatron's wrapped into this. Nice.
