((It's a Bionicle role playing thread))
((I'm gonna start this mainly because I'm bored and need a new fanfic to work on, I'm gonna basically enter a little chapter to introduce my character, other people can do so if they wish, but I'd like this to be a role play, so I hope it sticks that way for the most part,))

Mataru Nui​

The Toa had made a complex and unacceptable decision, he spoke, “Would there ever be a Ga-Matoran in search of a son?”
“Well,” His blue sister started to speak.
“Or a Le-Matoran in search of a daughter?”
“No,” His green brother spoke.
“Or Po, Onu, or Ko-Matoran?”
“No, there would not,” Replied Kanama, his white bodied brother.
“Nor would there be a Ta-Matoran, So the burden shall be mine,"

Once Taranu came home from the council with his siblings, he was spoken to by an apprenticed blacksmith, “It would be unwise to forge a child for a Toa,”
“No it would not,” The red Toa replied.
“Do you know how hard it would be to find a viable item to forge into its mask?”
“Yes,” The Toa knew that this wouldn’t be enough to get the apprentice to stop speaking, but he knew where this conversation was going, and how to shut the blacksmith up near the end of it.
“It would need to be large and made of Kanohi, highly developed in both the element of the parent, and that of light, and FURTHERMORE, it would need to be something with high emotional value to the said Toa,”
“Would this work?” The Toa said, pulling his elemental weapon off of his back, when he was reborn as a Toa, this blade came with his status, it was the most valuable thing he had.
“The DuskFlame,” the blacksmith spoke both in awe and disbelief, “It is too large, too powerful for a mere Matoran,” he finally found his voice again.
“But what about a Toa’s child?”
“It is to great to waste on a simple mask!”
At this remark, the Toa stopped hammering the sword long enough to pick it up and put it to the blacksmith’s throat, “If I ever hear you call my child, or their mask simple, then I will end you with it, and then I will return to creating it!!”
“Point taken, Toa Taranu,” the blacksmith then waited in horror before speaking again, “The blade’s personality will be implanted into your son,”
“Sharp wits, Swift mind, Strong Ideals, Ever burning heart, I see no possible downside with my Daughter,”
“Daughter? Daughter? If you want to create a female, then experiment with Ga-Matorans, Do not make a female flame-spitter!!!” the blacksmith yelled in shock, for Ga-Matorans were, up to that day, the only female Matorans to speak of.
“She is my child, and so it is my decision to make,” after hearing this, the blacksmith simply watched as the Toa hammered his most personal belonging into a pulp, and opened up eyeholes. The Toa then placed the pulp into a vat of water, and pulled it out with tongs a matter of seconds later, it had become a red mask, with gold lining the indentations.

The Toa of fire placed his daughter’s mask into the beam of life that would give it a body. I was born.

I passed another Matoran on my blades-turned board, I was enjoying another leisurely day, Lava Surfing, today was the big, Mataru wide competition, it didn’t get bigger than this, mostly because Ta-Matorans are the only ones who can survive a wipeout, so any other type of Matoran with the guts to come to this competition deserves respect. Sorry, that was irrelevant, back to the action: The lava was racing down into a cave, it would overflow that cave soon and trap anyone who didn’t get out fast enough, thankfully, I did. As I reached the finish line, I jumped up, grabbing my swords out from under my feet, putting them back onto my back, and ripping the finish line as I passed it.
“AND THE WINNER, BY SPLIT SECOND, IS… VANAKA,” and for this victory, I got a standing ovation, well, more like sitting ovation, but still, they were speechless, I shook the hand of the Onu-Matoran who came in second, and I said, “You deserve this trophy just for surviving that course,”
“I’ve went through harder,” he said then asked, “How long have you been in this sport?”
“This was honestly my first time on a board,”
“Impressive, especially for a female,”
“My mask was forged from a legendary sword, I can end you,”
“Okay, I’ll shut up,”
“You’d better,”

Vanaka went home that night as usual, and looked at the kanohi disk on the wall, as usual, she walked to her room and attempted forging, as usual.

 

And she failed, as usual.

 

((If no one else wants in this thing, I'll wind up making more and more characters until I have an entire storyline developed and then it'll be too late to start,))

((Meh, it's basically a species of Lego robots separated into six groups, each with their own element, color, and leader, known as a Toa, the six Toa (doubles as plural AND title) work together to keep the government running,))

 

((You lost me like I said I only know Xbox game I don't k ow the characters or anything))

 

((I didn't even get to the characters, though I won't, I'll try again with the basics, They all live on the same island which is separated into six distinct parts, one for each of the six groups, do I currently have you?))

 

((Yes))

 

((One part of the island is basically a giant glacier, the group there is filled with white bodied warriors who believe in cold hard fact, they are meant to represent the bionicle element of ice, and often have hard times taking jokes, they call themselves Ko-matorans,))

 

((Another part is actually just a bunch of smaller islands with lots of beaches, the group there consists of blue bodied, kind, bionicles who often grow up to be teachers, they represent water, were the only females on the entire island, and are called Ga-matorans,))

 

((There is one which is basically a giant jungle, the people there are fast talking, slightly annoying, sometimes poetic, animal loving, green people who represent the wind, they are called Le-matorans,))









((Laser flight would fit right in,))

 

((Yet another section is basically just really, really, volcanic, and has lava everywhere, its inhabitants are red bodied, passionate, stubborn, and like to surf on lava, for occupations, they are found mask or weapon forging, these are the Ta-matorans,))









((I forgot to mention, they represent fire))

 

((The fifth is rocky and mountainous, the bionicles living there are called Onu-matorans, they represent earth and are black bodied, macho, and gruff, they usually wind up as either miners or archivists,))

 

((The last is a canyon filled desert whose inhabitants are brown bodied, and I don't care enough about them to know their personalities, though they are flamboyant, approachable, and the joking type, they represent stone and are Po-matorans,))

 

((So what is this exactly, is it something anyone can join in on? Also keep in mind that there is also Fe, Bo, Ba, Ce, De, Fa, and Su-matoran as well as many others too.))

 

((Yes, anyone can join, but I have no idea what those are,))










((Every once in a while, a Toa of light shows up, Takanuva is the best,))

 

(( Fe-matoran are matoran of iron (hence Fe the chemical symbol for Iron) Bo-matoran are matoran of the green (plant life), Ba-matoran are matoran of gravity, Ce-matoran are matoran of psyconics (psychic), De-Matoran are matoran of Sonics (sound hence De, the first two letters of Decibel, the measurement of sound. I tend to get the rest mixed up, but you can check biosector01 for the other ones. Also Light is uses the prefix Av.))

((Thanks, for the prefix of light, and in that case, the other one's don't exist on the island of Mataru Nui,))

 

((Makes sense any Matoran/Toa/turaga that's not of the "big six" (Ta, Ko, Ga, Po, Le, and Onu) is considered rare especially Bo-matoran. Also is this a just jump in thing or is there a sign up somewhere?))
