RP Adventure - Mobile Suit Gundam Epsilon The year is Galactic Era 0056. Humanity has reached for the stars, establishing Space Colonies to exploit the new frontier with the plan to colonize more of the greater galaxy. A new home for mankind, where people are born and raised. And die. Nine months ago, the furthest space colony from Earth, Colony 9, came under the command of a terrorist organization called Zodiac, launching a terrorist campaign for "independence." Initial fighting has had both Zodiac and the Earth United Nation lose 25% of their respective populations, and are currently at a stalemate. In this RP, you can join one of two sides, more specifically small groups in both sides - Zodiac - A high-profile terrorist organization self-deluded as "Freedom Fighters." Zodiac genuinely believes itself in the right, and thus will keep fighting until they find that goal they single-mindedly pursue - independence from Earth and, by implication, total domination of the known galaxy. Characters that choose this path will either be damn good at playing the freedom fighter or be reusable cannon fodder, and both will be given special giant robots known as Mobile Suits. Also, only one of them will have a cool mask. Earth United Nation - Basically the Federation from many a sci-fi franchise, although it only covers Earth and its space colonies. All characters that choose this route and are in for the long haul will originally be on Colony 4 before a Zodiac attack forces them to join the crew of a EUN Starcraft known as the Unicorn. They'll be the only ones aboard this ship and have to deal with each other's bullshit nonstop, but to compensate, they will be given Mobile Suits as well, among them a powerful war machine known as Gundam Epsilon. Aside from the opening act, which will be primarily railroaded by yours truly, this RP is directed not by overarching planned plots, but your actions. Good luck, my brave soldiers of sorrow. Oh, I almost forgot - All Mobile Suits have to be fan-original. No using the Zaku or the Z'Gok or the Turn A or the Strike Freedom or something like that. Your fan made MS can be an expy of another - IE Gundam Epsilon to the RX-78-2 - but you cannot use a Mobile Suit that has been used in another universal timeline. Also, I'd prefer it if you stuck to using at least two throughout the RP, but you can use more if you feel it needed.

On second thought, you can use a Mobile Suit from a preexisting timeline, as long as it does not carry the name "Gundam."
So, this means any hypothetical character of mine can misidentify any Mobile Weapon as a Zaku and annoy his comrades to the point they maroon his ass?

Name: Takahashi Ohba Side: Earth United Nations Rank: Lieutenant Mobile Suit: GM Shiner. Same build style as the Shining Gundam. Core Lander style escape pod. Similar equipment loadout to the original Gundam, but with the inclusion of a machine gun and sniper rifle. Muted blue color scheme. While this is a GM, it is a specialized model, so it's unlikely that many will be encountered. Basic Personality: Takahashi can be awkward in social interactions, but his piloting skills could be enough to make up for it...hopefully. Name: Tasha Vogel Side: Earth United Nations Rank: Scout Mobile Suit: Standard GM/Grunt suit that happens to be on hand Basic Personality: Very much a rookie and still learning. Does show a deep appreciation for EUN mobile suits though. Let's get those bios going.
Name: Flynn "Fly" Oliwa-Blazkowicz Side: EUN Rank: Lance Corporal Mobile Suit: CQMS-01 Zeniec, a highly modified MS-05 unit optimized for close quarters engagement. Additions to the body of the Mobile Weapon itself include twin shoulder-mounted blast shields and the addition of a nanofiber ballistic vest which greatly improves the durability of the suit, as contrasted with it's base model. Though fitted with several hardpoints throughout it's frame, the preferred weapon of most pilots is a simple lever-action ballistic shotgun. Personality: Flynn is batshit, no doubts about it. Akin to a massive melting pot of over-the top action cliches and sheer bloodlust, he makes everyone else look saner in comparison just by his presence. This can lead to friction with others, and he is incredibly prone to misidentifying every enemy MS as a Zaku.
Name: Charles "Crimson Star" Allister Side: Zodiac Rank: Private technically, Decoy in reality Mobile Suit: OMS-06RF RF Zaku, modified with a red color scheme, a horn, and specialized boosters allowing it to go three times faster then typical MS suits. All of these have been added to make him as noticeable as possible for distraction purposes. Basic Personality: acts stoic, but ultimately is a cocky coward. Won't keep fighting if the situation stacks against him. Although Zodiac considers him a mere, unimportant decoy, Earth United outright fears him, since one time while he was drunk on duty he accidentally destroyed three EU cruisers.
Name: Brandon Gallagher Side: Zodiac Rank: Second Lieutenant Mobile Suit: MSM-07F Z'gok Crab Basic Personality: Brandon is the strong, silent type. He speaks little and prefers to let his actions speak for him. While not an ace pilot by any means, he's still quite competent and very stealthy, able to use his mobile suit to slip past enemy defenses. In his spare time, he writes to his family and keeps a journal detailing the events of the day. He enjoys photography.
