Mostly Quick and Dirty Digibashes... but still, they're good enough to deliver the point across. For one, as optibotimus pointed in his review... FoC Air Raid, with a bit more black and wings hidden... makes a *very* convincing Rewind: The next (and one that prompted me to make the digibashes) was the Takara Tomy version of this retool... with a bit more colors than Air Raid -> Rewinder... he makes a pretty darn good Bainzaitron tho! Change the head crest for better effect though. If you own FoC Prime and Magnus... a simple head swap gets you FoC Powered Convoy's unarmored mode. Repaint the head and fists to obtain a convincing and very quick custom... Paint the legs black for full effect. Posted this SG Junkion Shockwave thing a while back: Gist of it is that, as per MechIdeas' bio... Shockwave can inhabit other bodies. Considering in FoC he controls the Insecticons... I think we could combine both concepts to conclude that he would soooo subjugate the SG Junkions, as well as transfer a copy of himself onto one to lead them. On the topic of Shockwave... there's Cloud Shockwave... he's not been officially unveiled, but the art shown from the Cloud stuff shows that he's clearly a Whirl repaint: Now for the thread's (re)creation... my attempt at a quick Bludgeon from Drift. Frankly I'm surprised NO ONE has a fully painted custom on the Radicons yet. Can't say for sure if the HR Blood DX works, but man... if it does... Thanks. This one's obscure... but when I saw it... I had to try it. IDW Bee's toy works sooooo well as an update to this figure... Jetstorm (G1) from the Aquaspeeders subgroup... and technically it's end of G1 and start of G2... especially with those colors. Now I just need to find suitable figures to update the rest of them... and hope I don't vomit rainbows due to the G2 schemes. Now... Jet Storm happened due to the TFWiki disambiguation pages... care to guess who's related to him, and possibly my next Digibash? Also random thought... Protoform X is a TFCC Repaint of Deluxe Prime Megatron... and folks already have done fantastic repaints of Sharkticon Megatron to Depth Charge... Imagine if BOTH Voyager Prime and BH Megatron were released as a Beast Wars redux set in the form of Depth Charge and Rampage?

I guess Speedstream could be a Mirage repaint... but Mirage is overused as an F1 Racer... and the PCC Over-run is tiny compared to the Generations IDW Bee mold... HA Dragstrip's a similar deal methinks. Closest thing I could think up for Aquaspeeder is Energon Prowl... but then he's the only one with the Powerlinx feature... Not sure what to use for Deluge... at all.
Wow, didn't even know there was a G1 Jetstorm. But that Bludgeon, I so want to see that happen in the main line.
have you considered using Beast Hunters Smokescreen? while not quite an f1 car, Smokey does have a lowslung body, curvy profile, and bigass spoiler in alt mode.

You have Animated Drag Strip from Arcee and (Cyberverse) Prime Arcee as Groove for the upcoming Protectobots set.
Hm... Given the proportions... honestly Trukk is Monkey sounds more viable than the stock figure's intent... No guarantees though... but my interest is piqued. I would definitely prefer a nice combiner for him and well... ALL of the G1 teams. Especially if they at least sport a combiner port system for all figures. As I said... just an idea based on the peculiar Protectobot sets that were announced recently.
