Hey All! First off, I want to say this is still very, very rough but hopefully you will get the idea. I plan on finishing it later when I have time, I just wanted to get the idea down for right now. As soon as I saw this news story when I woke up the colors of the ice cream bar and the general shape reminded me of IDW Rewind. Shortly there after I thought of this joke and started to draw the joke out in comic strip form. I never do fan art anymore. I always get too wrapped up with the idea of having to make it look "good" and "perfect" and then usually just don't do it at all. However, I guess today I thought this was a good enough idea and just went for it. Let me know what you think!
Yeah. My thought exactly. Thanks guys! Like I said in the first post, I never do fanart or really draw for fun in general because I get too obsessed with the idea of my drawings having to be perfect. Unfortunately, as a result, my drawing chops have been really hindered. I can draw anything from life or photos really, really well but drawing figures in poses from my imagination is really daunting to me. I'm glad that I was able to get the idea across enough to make the joke work. Now I'm way more excited to get back to finishing off the comic soon!
