Calling all artists - Again!

Hey Everyone,

I am calling out the talented artists here (and elsewhere if they read it) for a project to be managed, featured and hosted on TFW2005.com when done.

Basically, this will require about 20 pages of work, over time. Needs to be 2-D, semi-professional level artwork done in comic/page format (telling of a story through sequentials).

The work is unpaid, and will be shown online for free, your work and name highlighted heavily within the fan community.

The end result will be heavily promoted on TFW2005.com, along with a dedicated front page feature slot.

If you are looking for exposure or something to add to your resume other than one shots or test pages, this would be it.

Once signing on, progress needs to be submitted regularly until done. If you get paid work while doing this that requires your attention, that is fine, this can be put on hold, so long as you let us know so and give us a general time frame on when you can get back to the project.

Again, this is a call for semi-pro level people, people that if given the chance could jump into working for IDW or Devils Due, etc. Former Profile Artists are a prime example.

Also, if enough of you would be willing to donate lets say a couple pages each, we could make this a group project, featuring a selection of you all. So if you are interested in that scenerio but not a full 20 pages, then post here or PM me as well.

Might want to change the thread title; 2D artists only is hardly calling all artists, is it?

yeah, don't forget us 3D people! Also, if it needs to have a 2D look, you can always do a 3D model with a cell shaded inked look to it.

If someone can render out a solid rendition of a page to flow with the others, i wouldnt object. Would require modeling all the characters in the scenes, backgrounds to match previously drawn ones, flow of action in panels.

If its a group project, could work. Or if a 3d guy wants to model everything and do 20 still shots, could work too.

if its a group project i'd think 3d stuff should be acceptable. i mean, even the 2d guys differ in style. the variety would be great as a showcase project.

was just wondering about if it would possible to do a promotional for this like how IDW and Dreamwave do/did variant covers for their comic lines.

Hehe, need to get the insides done first. Running a bit scarce on artists as of now to get that done.

If we get there, and people want to do variant "covers", sure thing.
