Here I am, with a TV concept that's been five years in the making so far! Leaders is basically about a robot empire, led by a mafia-made man wanting to revive integrity and justice in a 1990s America. All robots in the show are just as sentient as us and have a free-will, which leads to a new villain rising. Certain robots that are posted here are the ones that receive the most focus of the eventual number of over 2000 in the empire. These designs aren't exactly final, as I may decide to change the look later on. I'll make posts to show the other characters. Enjoy the stuff from MS Paint! Stephen K. Axcel is the protagonist of the series. He's been a former FBI agent, a made mafia member, and now the leader of an entire empire of robots. After having been claimed as made by the Madison family boss, Axcel requested that the family steals robots from an uncharted and hidden machine plant run by the government. He had known about this while looking through files in his days as an FBI agent. Axcel had requested to own the robots as a big aid toward his life goal: to bring justice and truth back into America and overthrow the corrupted government. He enjoys all kinds of music, especially rock songs by Van Halen, Tom Petty and such. It's no surprise to witness one of his many jamming sessions and even -awfully- sing the lyrics to these songs!
Thanks! Here's another character. Jim York Brasco has been the best friend of Axcel since their days in middle school. Jim's a bit of a smartass, but he knows when to shut his mouth and use his brain for something good. Despite his smart aleck and playful attitude, Jim's trusted by Axcel with knowing stuff that only he knows such as the location of his base. He has been watched by the FBI for seven years and while Jim doesn't give much of a crap about that, he doesn't really suspect what's coming to him...
Tony is the aged don of the Madison family. He was the boss since 1949, at age 21. Tony is a very kind man and calm, even in the most hectic situations! He is the one that made Stephen a made man, and even the one that got him into the family in the first place due to connections with his father. Tony supports Axcel's life-goal and gave him all he needed to make it a reality. People have tried to assassinate him but to no avail due to Tony always keeping up with the news going around in the world of organized crime. Robots will be coming soon...
Wrong. The Trio Dan (middle) is a party-goer with a hopeful future in leadership according to his college professors after observing him in group projects, though he does slack off at times. He's usually easy to talk with and guarenteed to make someone laugh on their first conversation. Dexter (right) is the one that motivates the team into becoming heroes. Dexter is a bit of a ladies’ man without intending to be so. He's very diligent in his studies and has a high intelligence for structure. Dexter's unbelievably nice to everyone he meets that treats him just the same, which has led to girls hanging out with him unexpectedly. Dexter does not take this for granted unlike some guys and talks to them as people, not toys. Ian (left) is the muscles of the team. He's signed up for gym programs more than anybody else on-campus outside the jocks. He's a bit emotional but just as he packs a punch, he can take an emotional attack. Ian is a bit shy and this has given him frustration, but he takes it out on his punches while training in the gymnasium More on these guys in the future, and robots are coming very soon...

Ray K. Axcel the father of Axcel’s dad and would be granddad of Stephen. Ray was a popular member of the Madison family from the late ‘30s to the late ‘40s. Ray was a man that could get things done, but not without the obligatory explosion or booming noises from a gun. He was a cocky guy, which did garner some remarks from others about how annoying he was but Ray never gave a crap about what they had to say. He was the one that raked in most of the rewards for the family. The FBI was after his tail throughout the ‘40s but never caught up with him until 1947, when he was set up and murdered. The story was covered up by a completely different alternative scenario of him having been taken to a restricted asylum in Chicago. The whole family was put under contract by the government to never speak to anyone about the truth of Ray's disappearance. This led to Axcel growing up with incorrect information about his own grandfather, until much later when his dad hinted at the truth and suggested that he enter the world of forensics...
Electrin is the second in command of the empire. He praises Axcel for his intentions and his compassion for humanity, as well as machines. Electrin is the one that tries to keep everything exactly like Axcel envisions it. This leads to many calling him “strict and boring” but Electrin feels that this is necessary for everything to work properly. He does not anticipate the day Axcel is gone, since that would mean Electrin becomes the leader of the whole empire; a weight that he wouldn’t be able to support. Whenever Axcel speaks with Electrin, he brings up the topic of leadership and tries his best to encourage him with every motivational speech. Axcel sees a ton of potential inside him, potential that Electrin is simply afraid of.
Short Stuff has a hobby of constructing devices for the empire, mostly laser guns. He’s always up to making a new type of weapon. He runs the production center in Base Petty (the first empire base that was set up.) He’s very calm in most situations except when he’s being chased or the prototype of a weapon blows up in his face. He's well known for trying to get with the femmebots but he hasn't succeeded yet. Short Stuff is also pretty darn short, to the point that in the robot bar he has his own custom chair for him to reach the table.
Screecher is a questionable troop. He almost never follows the orders of his superiors and does everything sloppily. Screecher believes that everyone must go their own way for things to turn out well, but the way he executes it is rather poor and pretty risky when fighting. Some have viewed his body type as good cannon fodder but the empire doesn't have the money nor supplies to waste on copying one body. All the credit goes to Shortwave and his buddy for the character! I've redone Tony. I'd really appreciate a few comments!
MD-1 is a prominent medic of the empire. He’s known for his quick and successful procedures on patients. He enjoys working on patients, for now anyways. Music always helps him on his job as well. MD-1 always gives his role to someone else after he's only done five or six repairs. He is unable to look at the wounded troops for long periods of time and every now and then, images of soldiers unable to be saved appear in his head and renders him unstable for work until he can erase these synthesized thoughts.
Blankrange is the strategist of the empire. His motto is “think, then do.” Blankrange almost always has a plan working out in his processor and can compute the whole thing in about a minute. He’s genuinely loyal to the empire and is great friends with Zale and Blastwave. His main issue is that he always believes that the plan will work and when it does not, Blankrange overloads his processing circuitry for trying to form a new strategy and stressing out. He has gained his name because he takes utter joy in shooting the target at point-blank range with his arm-mounted cannon.
