Another fic-for-points thing!

Since I didn't have the time to write it into the comic proper, I want you people to write up what happened in ANT right after the events of DW2-- namely Hound's return, Nitrox's adjustment to her new home, and Firestar coming out of the closet. I will award a whopping 2000 Zombiepoints-- Two doodles!-- to whoever takes on this task.

 

Not skilled enough to do anything along those lines.

 

Dimension Wars - Aftermath I

As the Portal closed behind him, Optimus sighed.

Optimus: Well, we managed it. Megatron is dead. The Decepticons are now leaderless.

Hound: I highly doubt that, sir.

Optimus turned to Hound with a confused look.

Optimus: What do you mean?

Hound: In that dimension I came back to life in, the Decepticons lost Megatron temporarily, but many vied for the seat of Leader. Chances are, someone is taking that position as we speak.

Optimus considered this, and nodded.

Optimus: I see. Then we must keep a look out. No doubt that the Decepticons will be licking their wounds…

Hound: Hey, sir, may I ask you something?

Optimus: Yes?

Hound: How well do you think I'll adjust? I mean, I DID die in this world…

Optimus: Chances are, you'll do fine.

Hound: And what about-

Optimus: Arcee will be glad you're back. She'll have something to smile about…. and I guess I'll have something to smile about, too.

((And with that, I leave the Lesbians to others that are interested.))

 

"Is it true? Is he really back?"

The command hub of the Ark was abuzz with questions and queries about this 'new' comer. Echoes of whispers bounced off the walls and around the room. No-one was really sure what was happening, or what was going to happen - either way, they were excited

The hiss of a large door sliding open brought silence upon the crowd. Optimus stood before them, a serious expression on this face, and all of a sudden the mood dropped. Everyone had heard the rumours, and now they seemed to have been completely and utterly falsified.

Until, that is, Optimus smiled

This was the first time anyone had seen him smile in a long time, not since Elita arrived, and even longer before that. The giant Autobot stood aside to reveal the stocky, green robot. "Autobots," Optimus began "I present to you our long lost friend, Hound!" Everyone was once again alive with joy, and many began to crowd around Hound, asking him where he'd been, or how he'd survived. It was a lot to process for everyone, Hound included. "C'mon Hound, you gotta tell us, how'd you do it? How'd you do it?" Wheeljack buzzed excitedly, hoping for a tale of epic proportions, filled with action, romance, and lots of explosions

"I'm not really sure," Hound pondered "One minute I was dead, stabbed by a Constructicon, and the next thing, I wasn't. I was just, somewhere..."

"Aw, is that it?"

"What an anti-climax..."

Hound chuckled. Even though his story might not have been the greatest, especially compared to some that the others might have, he was just glad to be back among familiar and friendly faces. Suddenly a large, crimson arm wrapped around his shoulders "Whatever weird and mysterious brought you back," Ironhide saluted "We're just glad to have you back, buddy." Hound smiled, but it was almost instantly wiped from his face by the sound of a familiar voice

"Hound?"

Arcee was standing in the doorway, and everyone began to make space around Hound, expecting some kind of emotional outburst from one of the two Autobots

"Arcee, I-"

He was interrupted by the little blue Autobot leaping into his arms for a hug. She buried her head in his shoulders, tears of joy falling from her eyes, as her mentor and friend returned the hug. "Don't you ever die on me again, you big, green dope..."

"I won't. I promise"

"Autobots, we have much to celebrate," Optimus announced "Our friend is back where he belongs, Megatron has passed, and the Decepticon empire is currently in shambles. So, now we-"

"PARTY!"

Almost as soon as he had said the word, Jazz was playing his music all throughout the Ark on its massive array of speakers. It didn't take much longer for everyone to start pouring drinks and sharing snacks. The place was alive with song and dance, and for the first time in a long time, the Autobots had reason to celebrate, and were enjoying themselves. There were no Decepticons to worry about, no universe-ending plights, no nothing. Just them and this wonderful moment

Nitrox was stood in the corner, a glass of Energon in her hand. She was normally a very outgoing 'bot, but this was something on a scale of its own - not only did she not really know anyone here, she was in a completely different universe. She was, understandably, feeling very alone. At least until Bumblebee wandered over

"Hey... Nitrox... right?"

"Yup," she paused "That's me..."

"How are you settling in here?" the yellow Autobot inquired "I'd say this has all got to be pretty daunting for you." She stopped to think for a moment "Yeah, it is," she continued "I mean, I kind of know all you guys already, but at the same time I don't. I mean, you seem like a really mature and composed kind of guy, 'Bee. The Bumblebee in my universe wasn't anything like that. He was brash, and often didn't think things through properly. The Optimus in my universe was young and inexperienced, but this Optimus seems to have seen it all. It's all just so different but not at the same time, you know?"

"I think I understand where you're coming from," Bumblebee replied "But like you said, you already sorta know us all, so you should mingle, get to know everyone properly, and you'll start to find the adjustment a lot easier. Don't worry, you'll fit in fine here,"

Nitrox smiled before giving Bumblebee a quick hug. "Thanks 'Bee, I needed that!" she exclaimed for wandering into the crowd

"Hey, has anyone seen Firestar?" asked Wheeljack

Optimus was wandering down the hall, having decided to give the big party a miss. It was nothing personal, just that big crowded events weren't really his thing, and more than anything else, he wanted to catch up with Elita. With everything that's gone on since she and her team arrived months ago, the two hadn't had a lot of time to talk and get to know each other again

As he was walking, he noticed Firestar in her room, looking somewhat disheartened

"Firestar," Optimus announced his presence, knocking on the open door to her chamber "Is everything okay? You're missing the celebrations.." "Yeah, it's okay, I guess," she responded tiredly "I've just been thinking a lot lately. About myself, and who I am." "Well, knowing one's self is often the most difficult thing to do," Optimus replied. The large red femme sat up on her recharge slab, and Optimus sat next to her "Have you ever felt, I dunno, wrong?" "In what sense? As in, a moral dilemma?"

"No, just that, something about you was wrong.." Optimus stopped to think before replying "I'm not really sure what to tell you, Firestar. Is there a particular aspect of yourself that you find troubling?" The femme fiddled with her hands for a moment, before looking back at the Autobot leader "It's just that, I want something like what you and Elita have-" "Where, there are plenty of Autobots on the ship that I'm sure-" "But with another femme..."

Optimus stopped and sat wide eyed, suddenly realising what the conversation had been about. Firestar sat waiting for a response, her insecurity growing with each passing second "Well, um," Optimus began

"I knew it, I knew it was wrong..."

"No, Firestar, stop," Optimus exclaimed "Firstly, I apologise for my reaction, I was just caught a bit off guard is all. I hadn't come in here expecting something like this..."

"Well, sorry for dropping a bomb on you.." she responded, starting to feel a little offended at this point

"No, don't apologise," Optimus began to speak with a more firm voice again "Firestar, you are who you are, and you should never apologise for being yourself. You are perfect as you are, and you should be proud of the femme you've come to be,"

A smile grew on Firestar's face, before she stood up and hugged the Autobot leader "Thank you Optimus, that meant a lot," "It was no problem, really," he continued "And if anyone ever gives you any trouble, you let me know, okay?" Firestar nodded, her eyes filled with delight, and her mind now feeling free to be who she really was. "Now if you'll excuse me," Optimus exclaimed as he stood up "I have a good friend to go catch up with. You go and enjoy the party..."

Firestar darted out of the room, headed down towards the command hub, and Optimus followed suit, but instead heading for Elita's chambers

Apologies for any dialogue that might seem out of character, or any continuity errors I may have created. My memory of DWII is a little fuzzy, and I'm writing this while extremely tired. So, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go to bed. So enjoy this... thing...

Dimension Wars II - Aftermath II

Elita was walking in the base when she bumped into Firestar.

Elita: Sorry, Firestar. I did not see you there?

Firestar: It's okay, it's okay...

Elita: Something bothering you?

Firestar: Elita... I may or may not have slept with the new femme.

Elita: ...So...

Firestar: I may or may not be a lesbian now.

Elita: Will this affect your effectiveness on the battlefield?

Firestar:...No?

Elita: Good. Carry on then.

And Elita went on her way, with a small smirk on her face.

 

And now Stone is at two doodles.
