Been quite awhile since I've done anything with this old concept...On a whim I re-edited Tracks and Knockout into RoadRage and Sideways.

 

Bro these would genuinely make good cartoon designs.

Thanks, although I'm always looking back and thinking some of these could use some slight reworks. Especially for the concept of these being "Cartoon" designs, they probably aren't that practical for hand drawn animation...Maybe CGI, I suppose.

 

So after doing the RoadRage and Sideways edits, I got the urge to draw up a couple new designs.

 

Ransack would make a great toy!

 

Gobot remolds.

I recolored Ransack into Traitor, but cartoon colors, given the toy was just mostly more black. But also, Traitor was more of a wasp thing then a locust, so I'm re-dubbing this guy as "Turncoat".

 

Ho-lee Paxtin coming in over a decade later with more cartoony formers content! Loving that you're bringing in some Gobot recolours as well.

I love Cosmos's little alien ray-gun, and Ransack looks great, too. Still wish there was a show of some kind that looked like this.

 

I'm nothing is not...Woefully inconsistent...Maybe in another decade I'll return to doing more of my Beast Wars stuff...

Thanks, the ray gun is heavily influenced by I-Gear's(I think it was theirs.) third party Cosmos figure, which had a similar retro blaster.

 

Traitor looks a little like hftd Insecticon.

 

Tried doing a take on Skullgrin, but gradually lost interest with it.



Just wasn't really feeling it after awhile.

 

I like it, it's not as iconic as the others but it's good, maybe go back to the drawing board if you don't like it.
