| Maximal Join Date: May 2012 Posts: 325 Location: Australia Collection Count: 134 [not including Brave Toys] | And Now... The First of the Predacons! Colour scheme based on Noble Savage from the Beast Machines toyline. Personality based on Sly Cooper from the Games and Robin Hood from Men In Tights. Megaplex: Motto: “What’s yours is mine and what’s mine is yours.” Rank: Thief. Strength: 6 Intelligence: 8 Speed: 8 Endurance: 7 Courage: 10 Agility: 10 Firepower: 5 Rank: 5 Skill: 9.4 Alt mode: Wolf. Faction: Neutral/Predacon. Bio: A self-proclaimed master-thief from the Lower States, Megaplex hides his extraordinary skill behind a false veneer of glib remarks and cheeky outlook on life. Having been raised on the streets, Megaplex grew to rely on three things; his speed, his talents and his two lifelong friends [Scorponok and Tarantulas]. He only became involved in the Predacon-Maximal war when he stole a precious artifact from the Hall of the Ancients in the Capital [Egypt]; the Golden Disk, one of the last remnants from long before the Great War. Upon reading the Disk, however, Megaplex soon discovered that the Disk contained the last recorded words of the original Leader of the Decepticons, Megatron, and something else; the location of Project Quickstrike. Now finding himself in too deep and involved with an ancient conspiracy, Megaplex finds himself hounded by the Maximal Army and by a certain Inspector Blackarachnia. And his only hope may lie with the Predacons. Abilities: In robot mode, subject is armed with two weapons/tools. In his left arm, his canine head doubles as a sophisticated laser torch capable of slicing through 8-inches thick concrete like butter. In his right arm, he wields a standard sword that converts into his trademark ‘Glue Gun’, firing a fast-drying adhesive substance, which he uses for quick getaways. Weaknesses: His overconfidence in his own abilities may cause him to dangerously underestimate an opponent. In addition, he is colourblind. |

| Maximal Join Date: May 2012 Posts: 325 Location: Australia Collection Count: 134 [not including Brave Toys] | Another Predacon This time it's Scorponok, the Muscle of the Predacons. Colour scheme based off the prototype from the original BW catalogue. Scorponok: Motto: “Stand back! Pain Train, comin’ through!” Rank: Thief. Strength: 10 Intelligence: 8.6 Speed: 5.7 Endurance: 9.5 Courage: 10 Agility: 6.7 Firepower: 9.4 Rank: 5 Skill: 9.2 Alt mode: Scorpion/Armoured Gunship. Faction: Neutral/Predacon. Bio: The muscle of the group, Scorponok is far from the stereotypical gentle giant; he has no compulsion for holding back his incredible physical strength nor does he hold the patience for complicated heists within his titanic frame. Despite this, Scorponok is no intellectual slouch, being able to conduct carefully-prepared traps for any nearby guard. His jaded, cynical view of the world clashes with Megaplex’s glass-half full thinking; when he sees a flaw in a plan, he will immediately bring it to attention. Yet despite their struggles, Scorponok regards Megaplex and Tarantulas as siblings to protect with all of his might and will follow a plan through to the finish if it means an easy payday. Abilities: Thanks to stolen Maximal technology Tarantulas helped to reverse-engineer, Subject is easily capable of switching between three different modes; Robot, Gunship and Scorpion. In Gunship mode, Subject is able to carry 100 megatons of equipment [or three full grown Transformers] and still fly at full speed [Mach 1]. In Scorpion Mode, can deploy two standard grenade launchers from his claws that can blow apart a 10-feet thick Vibranium Safe, in addition to possessing two side-mounted turrets that fire rubber bullets. In robot mode, his claws can rip the door from a tightly-sealed Titanium Vault with barely any effort. Weaknesses: Subject’s overreliance on physical strength can often blind him to traps that do not require physical power. In addition, his cynical behavior does not earn him many friends. |

| Maximal Join Date: May 2012 Posts: 325 Location: Australia Collection Count: 134 [not including Brave Toys] | The Amazing Tarantulas! Personality [for the most part] based on Ed from Cowboy Bebop. Jonathan Tarantulas Edmonton Esquire: Motto: “That vault door a problem? I can hack it, no slag.” Rank: Thief. Strength: 5 Intelligence: 9.6 Speed: 7.7 Endurance: 5.5 Courage: 8.9 Agility: 9.5 Firepower: 7.4 Rank: 5 Skill: 9.9 Alt mode: Tarantula/Motorcycle. Faction: Neutral/Predacon. Bio: Where Scorponok serves as the brawn, Tarantulas serves as the brains of the group. At first glance, one wouldn't realise that, given his absent-minded behaviour and sub-bestial tendencies [such as scratching the back of his head with his feet]. But appearances can be deceiving. Tarantulas is often intrigued by the technology of days gone by, to the point where he goes on personal scavenging missions on his lonesome to rebuild old machines, from stereos to old automobiles, even tinkering with his own vehicle mode to improve it’s performance. He is also the team’s youngest member, often looking up to either Megaplex or Scorponok as older brother figures, despite balancing his youthful behavior with a hypersensitive reaction when someone mistakes his alternate form for a spider, and will follow his adopted siblings into the abyss if need be. Abilities: His primary tool is a plasma cutter formed from the front wheel of his motorcycle mode, which he uses for cutting through plated glass. Each one of his eight beast mode legs is a hacking tool for hotwiring a deactivated vehicle or shutting down a computer security system. In beast mode, can climb on almost any surface, particularly up walls. For a quick escape, subject can shoot a techno-organic web from his abdomen to create ropes or ladders, for him to climb up in beast mode. His third mode, a motorcycle, is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 mph in three seconds, as well as use his spidery legs as a method of ‘launching’ himself from a tight spot. Weaknesses: Subject is not very strong, and his impetuousness can often jeapordise an otherwise flawlessly calculated plan. In addition, despite his intellect, subject is very impressionable and at times naïve because of his young age. Has a surprisingly short attention span. |

| Maximal Join Date: May 2012 Posts: 325 Location: Australia Collection Count: 134 [not including Brave Toys] | Presenting a Maximal who wasn't in the Show-Grimlock-and someone who was-Rattrap. Grimlock: Motto: “I, Grimlock, shall crush my enemy underneath my treads, wot?” Rank: Enforcer. Strength: 9.3 Intelligence: 7.5 Speed: 5.4 Endurance: 9.9 Courage: 10 Agility: 6.4 Firepower: 10 Rank: 5 Skill: 7.9 Alt mode: Armored Personnel Carrier. Faction: Maximal/ex-Autobot/Dinobot. Bio: One of the last remnants of the Autobot Cause, Grimlock long ago traded in his ferocious fangs and claws for a ton of firepower and added mobility during the final days of the Great War. When Teletraan I reactivated him from stasis lock, Grimlock was placed under the leadership of Optimus Primal, a fact that he despises with the utmost intensity. Though he finds occasional solace when he is partnered with Cybershark, Grimlock treating the bestial Maximal as a pet/bodyguard until he comes charging into the fray. Abilities: In both modes, Subject is heavily armed. Robot Mode introduces not only increased strength and endurance, but also shoulder-mounted anti-air missile systems, knee-mounted heat-seeking missiles and shoulder-mounted flamethrowers that can also be used in vehicle mode, only to reveal glass gas missiles that he stole from the deceased Cliffjumper in his reality. Oh, and he has a heavily modified laser sword that he uses for close quarters combat. Vehicle Mode is heavily armoured, despite losing the majority of his maneuverability, and can also use his weapons from Robot Mode [minus the sword]. In addition, subject's vehicle mode is capable of moving on all terrain where standard vehicles cannot. Weaknesses: Age has not been kind to Subject's joints, as any moisture that penetrates his armour can easily corrode his internal circuitry. In addition, his arrogance makes him a target for Optimus Primal's fury. Rattrap: Motto: “Badda-bing, badda BOOM!!” Rank: Demolitions Expert. Strength: 5.2 Intelligence: 8.8 Speed: 6.3 Endurance: 6.9 Courage: 7.2 Agility: 5.6 Firepower: 8.7 Rank: 6 Skill: 9.4 Alt mode: Anti-air Half-Track. Faction: Maximal. Bio: From birth, the Tribal soon to be known as Rattrap suffered from Chronological Stunted Progression Syndrome, a disease that continued warping his body beyond use since birth to the point of rendering him useless in scavenging missions with his tribe or even rendering him unable to perform simple physical tasks. But what he made up for was an innate fascination with explosives and their effects on prey. Once Optimus recognised his potential, he offered the Tribal some respite from his crippling injuries, reformatting him into his current heavily armed form. Out of gratitude, Rattrap now faithfully serves his new master without hesitation. Abilities: In both modes, Subject is heavily armed. In robot mode, is armed with a back-mounted missile launcher system and a dual-barrelled grenade launcher, the latter that he uses to launch a variety of explosive shells, as well as shoulder-mounted gatling guns that he uses for hunting sport. In vehicle mode, can traverse rough terrain thanks to the treads in the rear of the vehicle. Weaknesses: Despite having been reformatted, subject still has vestiges of the Disease, meaning that if he over-exerts his limbs, the internal circuitry inside would immediately snap, rendering him immobile. In addition, his addiction to explosives have steadily shorted out the subject's eyes, making him wear protective goggles. |
