I decided to take the entry I made for the Razor Contest and add some extra bits to it to make it a proper homage.

    Sweet huh!?

I figured anyone could paint this up to be Optimus, Nemesis, Ultra Magnus, Toxitron...who else...Shattered Glass Prime?

...and it would make a pretty cool piece.

If you're interested, just go to my thread in the Commissioner forum by clicking the Shapeways link in my signature.

Here is a link to how the model was made if anyone is interested.

    Thanks for looking!

agreed that this is both awesome, and would be even more awesome as a replacement head for a FE or PRID OP

Have you ever used Blender? It is a free program that has all the tools maya has plus its oun game engine. It has a much steeper learning curve than Maya however. Also,I was wondering where you went to college?

Yes, Zbrush. Base mesh was done in Maya and then imported into Z.

I haven't used Blender, but that was the other program I forgot to mention. I've heard good things, just haven't explored it much. I'd also check out Modo and Softimage XSI if so inclined. I went to school at the Art Institute of California: San Francisco and received a BS in Game Art & Design. At this point in time I wouldn't recommend going there. There are so many other resources available out there that are so much cheaper and relevant if you're motivated enough to teach yourself.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I should have some updates soon.
