Name: Rodimus Major
Role: Captain of the Lost Light exploration crew.
Voice Actor: Vic Migongna (Edward Elric voice from FMA and FMA Brotherhood.)
Alt mode: Lamborghini Centenario
Weapons: Built in crossbows in wrists which fire three energy arrows,can deploy a chainsaw from arm,faceplate that evokes Movie Hot Rod's face.

Bio: Charismatic,brave and sometimes hot headed and arrogant.Rodimus Major leads his crew of the Lost Light Exploration team to uncover new discoveries,worlds and other wonders which he views himself and his team as bringing in the light of exploration that has been lost. Even though some of his petty personality flaws get on the nerve of his team especially his SIC who often keeps him reeled back for their safety he always looks after the interest of his crew and is the first to risk his life to save them.

His big inspiration for adventure started when he was a young bot who hasn't any idea of where he'll take his life choices at,that is until he hears of Optimus Major the great Autobot war hero and got the chance to meet him too. to this day Optimus has always been Rodimus's idol and strives to be like him so he can help other bots. As one would expect he's a known fanboy of the legendary Autobot. What other strange adventures that'll take the young Autobot major to in the future is anyone's guess.

 

Excellent Rodimus. Love him being a Optimus Prime fanboy.

Vic Mignogna i wouldn't have considered, I think he's more of a Bumblebee type voice but this could work.

Hey guys I know it's been SOOO long since I've worked on anything Transformers Matrix related but I'm going to explain my reasons why and honestly something I've been thinking for some time now.

For those who have been following this thread and my comic thread I have a fan series/comic called Transformers Matrix going on for some years now with long bit of hiatus coming every now and then. But the reason for that happening more lately is because well…I’ve sort of lost interest in it and some of the ideas and designs I admit seem either flawed or needing worked on more or just something I’ve been doing as a phase at the time like trying too hard to be different or some characters and elements being too much like the inspiration I’ve taken for them. Either way I’m starting to reconsider doing a brand new series from scramake this series better.

That said I still enjoyed doing TF Matrix don’t get me wrong and I don’t like to leave it unfinished so I may do what the G1 and Aligned universe did where despite being different universe in it they still have the same basic ideas,designs and elements in all of them. Also helps that I’ve been largely inspired by Megatronski who’s doing the Crystal Connect series on TFW2005 and perhaps Tumblr too if I’m right and he’s managed to keep his original universe before Connect alive in some manner.

So yeah that’s what I have to say and expect some character designs and world building soon. Got some character designs ready to show too down below. They're still works in progress but felt like giving you guys a sneak peek of what they look like and what style I’m going for. It’s basically a mixture of the Prime,and movie asthetic along with elements of Sarah Stone and Naoto Tsushima thrown in. Bonus points if you guess who these main characters are

Well, I've enjoyed your work on this thread. But I hope to see more great fan-art from you in the future.

 

Shame to hear about Matrix, but I suppose after so long it's a given that it's going out the window. Still, this new project looks promising! I eagerly await its launch.

 

Thanks guys. As for Matrix it's not really dead. It's just not the main universe I'm focusing on right now. I'm going to revisit it in some manner or another like either in a crossover with my new comic for example. I mean I've put in a lot of work making bios and characters for Matrix that I don't want to see go to waste.

So I'm planning on finishing up the current arc in Matrix first then once I get my new series in check I can go and maybe add in some new arcs to continue Matrix along side it.

 

hmmmmmmm, anyone remember when the TAAHR cast was sent to the mainstream Sharkticomics? you could do something like that (but with Wheeljack)
