I thought I'd try out the Tripredacus trio in Kreon style. Tried to keep to existing parts, though Ram Horn cheats a bit with the legs:

These guys are definitely on the top of my want list, even if they don't combine...

HEY YOU, I love this and therefore I love you. The fact that these guys are made from actual parts (except Ram Horn's legs) means that this is totally plausible and I'm definitely going to buy doubles so I can make them.

Thinking it over some more, perhaps Scorponok's claws could also be used for Ram Horn's legs' legs. If not I'm sure there are posts of some sort that could fit and let the "insect" legs hook onto (which would let them face forward like they do on the toy).

No idea how to tackle the combined mode. Tripredacus wouldn't combine the same way the others do (being only 3 bots form him), and I'm not entirely sure what other pieces are available and how they all work. I suppose going with 4 bots would make it easier (though he is called "TRIpredacus"), but who'd be the fourth guy? ...Maybe Tarantulas? He is, after all, an agent of Tripredacus, plus he fits the arthropod theme, and his purple could potentially be worked in. Hmm...

Since I did this digitally I thought I might as well do the obvious repaint, the Jointron brothers:
Happy faces would probably be more befitting...

Argh, once you start think of how to make more Kreon characters you just can't stop.

Here's Tarantulas in both Original and Transmetal. Same body design (itself a hybrid of both bodies), just different colors.

The build is just Airachnid with Waspinator's helmet, so the extra Waspy you buy for Cicadacon could also be used for Tarantulas.

That's so awesome. I'm gonna have to make both versions (it's not like Waspinator is going to use his helmet anyway).

Welp, I'm hooked on these things. It's terribly, terribly addicting.

    Today we got Blackout!

This custom Kreons gig is probably a golden opportunity for Reprolabels and Shapeways.

    Armada Demolishor

Alternatively he could simply hold a pair of guns, as pistol-hands appear to be fairly rare (glancing thru the available Kreons it's Shockwave, "nude" Vehicon, and Inferno, and only the Autobot is in a blindpack).

    Whirl

I'm assuming Waspinator's wings can double as flippers.

Getting extra Shockwave helmets could be a pain as no one else currently uses that part.

Can't have Dinobot without Rattrap. Well, you can, but it's not really the same:
Took forever to find the right helmet (I'm against anything but the brain-dome). It comes from one of the humans with a rounded helmet perfect for painting Rattrap's "brains" on.
I'm sticking with the no-noses style Kreons have, even if Rattrap, Dinobot, and Demolishor look a bit off because of it. Course, if you plan on customizing these yourself go nuts with the noses.

    Armada Thrust (a.k.a. Squidhead)
To my knowledge Thrust never used flamethrowers but they seemed like a natural enough weapon for him. His hands are, after all, the jet's engines. Plus, his toy had "fiery" paint there.
(it's totally not because I've adopted Movie Dreadwing as my Squidhead, no siree)
