Very nice artwork, and got a kick from that 'cheeky poster'

Several thumbs up...

Who'd say, dude? I remember when you was a rookie 'round here and this place was infested by great artists.
Some of them went pro, others simply vanished. I wonder what Pete, Cerebros, Leelo, Jose are doing now.

Me? After many frustrated attempts at going pro as a TF artist, I made some small freelance work for Matere and a couple of 3rd party companies.
Then I realized there's no place for me in the TF pro art world, so I moved to the mobile game field. Now I'm working at Glu Mobile as a 3D generalist, making environments for their Blood & Glory franchise for iPods and Android devices.
Oh hey! I guess i kinda missed this page of replies here. didnt notice you commented

But yeah! Time sure does fly! Honestly, im surprised they still let me near the brand xD. Cant believe i'm nearing a decade, now, that i been doing this "professionally" [still feels weird even just saying that about myself ]

Glad to hear you've found some work in mobile gaming though. I'm sure thats gotta be interesting! Seems like mobile gaming is taking off a little bit.

But man, i know i dont have any pull at IDW but i would bug editorial like a madman on your behalf. You're still the best TF artist there is in my opinion

sure do miss your work!

Josh, why'd you choose to go the way you did on Topspin's sawblade? Did it just look too bland without the detailing? I can get that it's meant to be advanced alien technology, but part of me just freaks out and thinks "fast spinning sawblade! Radial asymmetry is a no!"

I love how you've managed to "repaint" the piece, though, especially in how you approached putting the new characters into established poses.

Thanks!

I vaguely based the sawblade details off what picture i had of the toy (and a little inspired i guess by wfc optimus' axe)
