Quick G1 Colored Generation Wrecker limbs

Hadn't seen anyone try this so, I figured what the heck.

Let me say right off, I love them like they are. I love that we're even getting them, and they are BOUGHT the instant I see them. The new colors are fine.

But, I'm also a hardcore G1 fan, and I had the original of all these guys (save Impactor of course) as a kid and I mostly just wanted to see how these new toys would look in the classic colors.

These are quick, messy, and easy. Just enough recoloring to see how they'd look. So here we go:

Top Spin and Twin Twist

Not bad. I MIGHT try painting them myself. If I feel brave...

Now for the Deluxe Autobots

About halfway through Whirl, I thought it was gonna look terrible but in the end I think I like it. The red eye helped loads. Roadbuster looks good too, but was a lot of work even in photoshop. You'd probably need a Botcon boxset type budget to pull off those colors.

-ZacWilliam, would seriously buy a G1 Box set of these guys in classic colors, even if I bought all the regular releases. Doubt they'd do something that close to retail though.

Roadbuster looks so much better! The others do too, but Roadbuster is the only one of these characters who I think actually fits the mold they chose. If Roadbuster looked like that, I might consider getting him.

Those look pretty good. I'd buy those if they were released at retail.

much improved for roadbuster and whirl. but, man, i hate the orange on top spin and twin twist. hasbro botched these colors so horrifically

Y'know, seeing Roadnuster's layout and head liek this, I can't help but think he'd make a great Chromedome.

Whirl and Roadbuster look good, but I can't help but feel that the swindle mould would work far far better as Ironfist.
