So I'm designing again. I recently discovered that plugins for Sketchup are really cool. I can make curves and other non-boxy things now! Thanks, Fredo! Also, whoever made the "soap skin and bubble" plugin. Now I can finally make Transformers that look semi-decent.

So first up is Optimus. I like how he turned out! I kept most of the classic Optimus elements that are part of nearly every Op design, but I think I added enough of my own style to make him look different.

His head is loosely inspired by BW Optimus.

He's not completely finished yet. I haven't done his neck. Also, I did not make the tires that are by his shoulders and on the back of his legs. I downloaded them off of the Sketchup warehouse, so they were created by someone else. They're just placeholders; I'm going to model my own later.

Next up is Starscream. He's already pretty much done, so I'll post him soon. After that I'll start on my next model, who'll probably be Spinister or Ravage.

Thanks for the feedback. Well, if you think Op is too skinny, just wait till you see Starscream! Anyways, what parts of him do you think need to be bulked up? Chest? Upper arms?

I made his waist thicker in this image. What do you guys think?

I think his entire torso needs a little more.
Try to put some red kibble behind his windsheilds on his chest. That could help the upper torso.

Okay, here's Starscream. I started him before Op, so he's not as good. Not 100% finished, though.

Design based on TF: Prime Starscream. Color kind of based on Movie Starscream's protoform and his 2007 Voyager toy.

That's a pretty interesting take on Scream.
